Casual but trendy

Probablemente este sea mi look favorito de la semana. No hay nada del estilismo completo que no me guste y la verda es que la combinación de cada una de las prendas me parece que dan como resultado un outfit muy casual pero muy moderno a la vez.

Empezando de arriba hacia abajo el detalle de la gorra es el toque más casual e informal del look. Es mi nueva gorra y como sabéis yo soy más de sombreros que de gorras… hasta ahora. Esta gorra sin duda se va a convertir en mi complemento favorito sobre todo para esos días en los que queremos camuflarnos un poco, o llevamos el pelo sucio o nos queremos proteger del sol de una manera más moderna, ¡es perfecta!

A juego con la gorra escogí una camiseta gris del mismo tono con unos jeans blancos ajustados. Como estos días parece que las temperaturas suben y bajan a sus anchas he escogido esta cazadora vaquera estilo boyfriend que también es de mis últimas adquisiciones. Me encantó porque me parece muy útil para mis viajes, para el día a día, … para todo. ¿Qué os parece la mezcla con el look de hoy? Como calzado llevo mis sandalias mules negras y como único accesorio un reloj de metal con esfera blanca y números romanos.

Y hoy va a ser un día muy largo porque ya sabéis que desde ahora todos los jueves grabo un programa de moda. Podéis verlo todos en la televisión. En el programa yo presento la sección de moda junto con mi compi Flora. La cadena se llama Non Stop People, el programa El Hub y se emite desde ayer mismo en el canal 23 de Movistar TV. Además también se emite en EEUU y América Latina. ¡No os lo perdáis porque quiero vuestros comentarios y críticas!

This is probably my favorite look of the week. There is nothing like a complete styling that I like and in fact is the combination of each one of the pieces seems to result perfect matching in a very casual but at the same time very trendy outfit.

Starting up from head to toe the detail of the cap is the most casual and informal touch of the look. It’s my new cap and as you already know I’m more used to wear hats… until now. This cap will certainly become my favorite accessory especially for those days when you want to go a little more camouflage, wearing dirty hair or just for the days when we want to protect ourselves from the sun in a more modern way, it’s perfect!

Matching this cool cap I chose a gray shirt in the same color and my skinny white jeans. These days it seems that temperatures rise and fall like crazy so I have chosen this boyfriend style denim jacket which is also one of my latest acquisitions. I loved it because I find it very useful for my trips, for my day to day… for everything. What do you think about today’s mix? As shoes I’m wearing my black sandals (mules) and as unique accessory my metal watch with white dial and roman numbers.

And today it’s going to be a long day because you know that from last Thursday I’m also working on fashion TV program. You can see it all on television since yesterday. In the program I’m hosting the fashion section with my lovely mate Flora. The chain is called Non Stop People, the program is “El Hub” and it is emitted from yesterday on the 23rd Channel at Movistar TV. It will be shown also in USA and Latin America. Monos, petos… y ahora ‘dungarees‘. Lo que me gusta del mundo de la moda en el que trabajo es que cada día aprendes palabras nuevas para nombras a las prendas (¿os acordáis el año pasado de las queridas ‘mules‘ para definir a las sandalias sin parte de atrás?) y descubres nuevas tendencias que muchas veces no imaginaste.

Pues dungaree es la nueva forma de llamar a los monos ya sean largos o cortos. Yo hoy he combinado este vaquero con una camiseta blanca con rayas finas negras consiguiendo un look muy veraniego. Además el toque casual de las zapatillas negras lo hacen aún más juvenil. Escogí mi nuevo reloj de metal con esfera negra, algunas joyas en plata a juego y mi bolso de mano blanco. Y vosotros, ¿os atrevéis ya con esta tendencia de petos vaqueros? Yo pienso que son una opción muy buena para este tiempo porque son muy fáciles de llevar: con una simple camiseta o crop top y unas zapatillas podemos conseguir un estilismo cómodo, juvenil y sencillo mientras que con una camisa o body y unas sandalias de tacón nos pueden servir perfectamente para una noche más arreglada.

Y mañana estaré de vuelta por Barcelona para descansar el fin de semana y asistir a la boda de mi gordita Marta Riumbau el sábado así que estad atentos porque os contaré todos los detalles en mis redes sociales y los vídeos en mi Snapchat como siempre (@itgirlmarta).

Playsuits, jumpsuits… and now ‘dungarees’. What I like most about this fashion world in which I work daily is that every day you learn new words to name clothes (do you remember last year the trendy ‘mules’ to define the kind of sandals without back?) and you also discover new trends that are often not imagined before.

So dungarees is the new way to name playsuits either long or short ones. I have today combined these denim one with a white shirt with small black stripes getting a very summery look. Furthermore the casual touch of my black sneakers makes it even more youthful. I chose my new metal watch with a black dial, some silver jewelry and my handbag in white matching the tee. And what about you, do you dare already with this denim dungarees trend? I think they are a very good option for this time of the year because they are so easy to wear: with a simple shirt or crop top and sneakers we will get a comfy, youthful and simple styling while wearing a shirt or sexy body and heeled sandals we will be perfect for a night out or a party.

And tomorrow I’ll be back in Barcelona to spend the whole weekend and to attend the wedding of my babe Marta Riumbau on Saturday so stay tuned to my social networks because I’ll be telling you every single detail and videos on my Snapchat as usual (@itgirlmarta).

¿Quién quiere una piña? La verdad es que a mi personalmente es una fruta que me encanta además de que es muy sana y te limpia por dentro.

Pero como veis no me gusta sólo comerla… sino también llevarla puesta haha. La tendencia de introducir las frutas en la ropa sabéis que está más de moda que nunca así que yo la sigo fielmente porque encaja perfectamente con mi estilo y más con mis looks más juveniles y veraniegos como el de hoy.

Llevo una camiseta de tirantes con piñas estampadas y lo que más me gusta es la parte de atrás: se abrocha con pequeños botones y termina con los bordes redondeados. Debajo llevo unos shorts oscuros y mis zapatillas blancas con detalles en azul. Como accesorios escogí un bolso también en azul klein, unas gafas de sol, un colgante con piedrecitas de colores y mi reloj con esfera XL de piel en color camel.

Pues ya sabéis chicos ¡la fruta está de moda! En todos los sentidos…

Pineapple anyone? The truth is that I personally love this fruit (and almost any kind of fruits) but furthermore pineapple is very healthy and it cleans your body inside.

But as you can see I don’t like only to eat it… but also to wear it haha. The trend of introducing fruits in clothes is more fashionable than ever so I’m a very big fan of it because it matches perfectly with my style and my younger and summer looks like today’s.

I’m wearing a tank top with patterned pineapples and what I like most is the back: with small buttons and at the end with rounded edges. I have chosen my dark denim shorts and my white sneakers with blue accents. I chose a shoulder bag also in klein blue, my metal sunnies, a necklace with colored stones and my new watch with XL dial in camel color leather.

So now you know it guys: fruit are so fashionable and trendy! I mean it in every way…

Dreaming of plumeti

Menudo jueves que llevo… y ahora son más de las 11 de la noche y aquí estoy escribiendo el post de mañana.

Como os he comentado en mis redes sociales he estado grabando una producción muy especial esta tarde (desde las 16h) que os enseñaré la semana que viene y a lo largo de las próximas semanas en varios capítulos… espero que os guste porque hemos trabajado mucho en ella.

Y aprovechando el bonito peinado y maquillaje que me ha hecho una vez más mi querida Anabel en Moncho Moreno y también esta fabulosa última localización de vías de tren pues al final del día he querido dedicar uno minutos más a preparar este post para hoy.

Que me encanta el color blanco y sobre todo el encaje, plumeti, etc. es algo que todos sabemos. Por eso hacía tiempo que quería combinar esta camisa que me encanta pero al ser tan transparente no había encontrado el momento hasta ahora. Hoy la llevo con unos shorts de cuero negros y mis nuevas sandalias doradas con tacón medio y tipo cangrejeras, ¿qué os parecen? A mi me gustan porque así puedo ir con algo de tacón en verano en mi día a día sin cansarme, desde luego son bastante cómodas. Llevo un bolso bandolera combinando piel y pelo negro. Como accesorios llevo un maxi reloj de piel negro con esfera blanca y mi colgante de corazón de plata con mini llave en oro rosa.

Y por fin fin de semana y yo mañana tengo la boda de mis queridos amigos Blanca y Álvaro. Desde aquí les deseo todo lo mejor en esta nueva etapa y os iré contando todo en mis redes sociales.

Thursday… what a busy day! It’s already 11 at night and I’m still sitting here writing tomorrow’s post… I’m sooo tired!

As I have mentioned you before on my social networks I’ve been filming and shooting a very special production this afternoon (from 16h) that I will show you next week and over the coming weeks in some chapters on the blog… I hope you like it because we have worked so hard on it.

And taking advantage of the nice hairstyle and makeup that made me once again my dear Anabel at Moncho Moreno’s and having this amazing last location with this fabulous train tracks I wanted to dedicate one minutes at the end of our working day taking the last pics to prepare this post for you.

I love the white and especially the lace, plumeti, etc. details, it is something we all know. So I have been waiting to combine this shirt that I really like but being so transparent I had not found the moment until now. Today I’m wearing it with my black leather shorts and my new gold sandals with medium heel and crabeater style, what do you think about them? I like them because I can go with some heel for the summer in my day a day without getting tired, and of course they are also very comfortable. I chose a shoulder bag combining black leather and fur. As accessories I’m wearing a black leather watch with white XL dial and my silver heart necklace with a mini key in pink gold.

And last day of the working week! I’m so excited because I have tomorrow the big wedding of my dear friends Álvaro and Blanca. From here I wish you all the best in this new life guys and I’ll tell you all the details through my social networks.

Young soul

Alma joven… como una chica de 20 años me siento. Me gusta que por mucho que vayan pasando los años cada día dedique el mismo tiempo, energía y alegría a mi trabajo que el primer día. Y lo mejor de todo es que intento sentirme joven y ser alegre y divertida no sólo en el trabajo sino en todos los ámbitos de mi vida… Mucho mejor verlo todo con una sonrisa no? Y al fin y al cabo dicen que reír alarga la vida… hehe.

Me habéis pedido que introduzca más estampados y colores llamativos en mis looks diarios, pero la verdad es que cuando más cómoda y ‘yo misma’ me siento es cuando llevo ropa sencilla de colores básicos… peeero hoy os quiero enseñar mi nueva falda de flores que aunque son pequeñitas y en colores claritos ¡ya es un paso!

La falda se abrocha con pequeños botones delante y tiene cintura elástica. Llevo un top cortito a juego con el tono rosa de los detalles de la falda y encima un jersey gris de cashmere para los momentos más fríos del día. Al llevar este jersey escogí mis zapatillas de cordones en el mismo color. Como veis un simple jersey nos da siempre mucho juego con cualquier look porque lo podemos llevar puesto consiguiendo un estilo oversize o atado a la cintura para un toque más casual.

Ya sabéis que es imprescindible para el día a día de una mujer llevar un bolso grande donde quepan todas las cosas que necesitamos, aunque muchas de ellas ni las necesitemos… hehe. Como accesorios escogí mi nuevo reloj plateado de esfera blanca y combiné dos pequeños anillos con corazones en plata y oro rosa.

Y ahora me voy al médico a ver qué me dicen de mis cervicales, que me duelen bastante desde hace unas semanas y luego tengo una larga tarde de grabación y shooting que os mostraré la semana que viene el resultado, ¡os va a encantar!

Young soul… like I was a 20 year old teenager, that’s how I feel. I like that even the years pass by I do spend every day the same time, energy and happiness doing my work as for the first time. And the best of all is that I try to feel young and be happy not only at work but in all the moments of my life… I think it is much better to see everything with a smile, don’t you think so? And after all it is said that the more you laugh the more you will live… hehe.

You have asked me many times to introduce new printed clothes and bright colors in my daily looks, but the truth is that I really feel more comfortable and ‘myself’ when I wear simple clothes of basic colors… Buuut today I want to show you my new floral skirt although flowers are tiny and in soft colors, but step by step!

The skirt has small buttons at the front and elastic waist. I chose a short topin soft pink matching the small details of the skirt. Over I’m wearing a gray cashmere sweater for the cooler moments of the day. By wearing this jersey I chose my also dark grey sneakers. You can see how simple it is to wear a jersey, it always will give to you too many options with any look. We can wear it as an oversize cloth or tied at the waist for a more casual style.

You know that is essential for the daily life of a woman to wear a big bag to put inside all the things we need daily, although many of those we do not really need them… hehe. As accessories I chose my new silver watch with white dial and I combined two small rings with hearts in silver and rose gold.

And now I’m going to the doctor to see what happen with my neck, it hurts me a little bit since few weeks ago and then I have a long afternoon of filming and shooting a new project that I will show you probably next week, you’ll love it!

Denim rules

Una de las tendencias que más me ha gustado de esta temporada y que rápidamente he introducido en mis looks diarios es el combinar diferentes tonos y prendas vaqueras en un mismo estilismo.

Hoy llevo una camisa vaquera en un tono muy clarito con una falda vaquera más oscura abrochada en el centro, con un maxi bolsillo a cada lado y de cintura alta. Al llevar pespuntes y botones en tonos marrones decidí ponerme mi cinturón de piel en color camel con mi nuevo reloj que ya me habéis visto algunos en mi cuenta de Snapchat y que ¡me encanta! Es de piel también y con esfera XL, de las que me gustan a mi. Recurrí a mis zapatillas blancas de cordones con detalles en azul y mi bolso en los mismos tonos a juego con el resto del outfit. El toque más moderno lo aportan las gafas de sol con cristal reflectante en azul clarito también.

Para realizar este shooting tan juvenil y divertido volví a escoger esta localización dentro del parque de El Retiro de Madrid. Las columnas de granito grisáceo de la plaza central que da al lago son un escenario perfecto para cualquier tipo de fotos donde se quiera dar todo el protagonismo al look pero con un fondo bonito y limpio. Os cuento esto porque me preguntáis muchas veces que cómo y por qué escojo las localizaciones… pues intento siempre buscar sitios de este tipo: calles, esquinas, parques o lugares de fondos limpios, lisos, sencillos que me inspiren calma, pureza, tranquilidad. Esto es muy importante para conseguir unas buenas fotos de blog.

One trend that I liked of this season from the very beginning and that I have quickly added to my daily looks is to combine different colors and denim clothes into the same styling.

Today I’m wearing a denim shirt on a very light blue with a darker denim skirt buttoned in the center, with a maxi pocket on each side and high waisted.Having stitching and buttons in brown tones I decided to wear my leather belt in camel color matching with my new watch that some of you have already seen on my Snapchat account, I really love it! It is also in leather and XL sphere, like I want them. I returned once again to pick up my white sneakers with blue accents matching my shoulder bag in the same tones of the rest of the outfit. The modern touch came with the sunnies with reflective glass also in light blue.

To make this shooting as youthful and funny as I wanted I chose again this cool location in the middle of Retiro’s Park in Madrid. The columns of gray granite from the central square facing the lake are a perfect background for any kind of pictures whenever I want to give all the attention to the look but with a nice clean background. I tell you this because many of you have asked me about how and why I choose the locations… So I always try to find places like this: streets, corners, parks or clean places, plain backgrounds, simples and easy to inspire me calm, purity, tranquility. This is very important to get some good quality blog pics!

Summer Beauty Day

Me encanta poder terminar la semana con planes divertidos como por ejemplo el que vivimos el viernes pasado gracias a la revista Mujer Hoy. Como cada año esta conocida web a la última en todo lo relacionado con las mujeres celebró su “Día de la Belleza de Verano” por todo lo alto.

Las mejores firmas relacionadas con la belleza se dieron cita para presentar los productos más interesantes y que utilizaremos este verano. Desde colores nuevos de pintauñas hasta cremas para el sol, tratamientos para el cuidado y protección del cabello, alimentación sana e incluso perfumes frescos para esta época del año, por supuesto.

Para un evento matutino como este escogí un look sencillo pero muy lady. Llevo una blazer negra tipo crop con una camiseta rosa palo de manga larga debajo. Lo combiné con mis shorts de cuero negros con lazada en la cintura, mis sandalias con tachuelas a juego y mi bolso bicolor estilo maletín que la verdad es que me encanta desde que me lo compré en mi último viaje a Nueva York.

Al final con la guapa maquilladora y estilista Mónica Roldán que me encantó volver a encontrarme.

I love to finish the week with funny meetings such as the one we lived last Friday morning thanks to the spanish magazine ‘Mujer Hoy’. Like every year this popular website focused in all about women celebrated its Summer Beauty Day with all the top brands.

The best beauty brands where there to present the most interesting products that we all will use for sure this summer. Since new colors of nail polish to sun creams, treatments for the skin care and protection of the hair, healthy eating and even fresh fragrance for this season of the year, of course.

For a morning event like this I chose a simple but very lady look. I was wearing a black blazer crop style with a soft pink shirt long sleeve underneath. I combined it with my black leather shorts with lace at the waist and my studded sandals matching my color blocked shoulder bag that I love since I bought it on my last trip to New York in February.

At the end with the cute hair stylist and make up Mónica Roldá, so nice to see you again.

Comfy for the weekend

¿Que bajan un poco las temperaturas? Yo recurro entonces a mis cómodos pantalones tipo chandal para un día de recados y trabajo desde casa.

Me encantan este tipo de looks ya que cada vez me estoy acostumbrando más a ir cuanto más cómoda y sencilla, mejor. Al tener que ir tan arreglados a eventos, fiestas, reuniones, shootings… se agradece mucho de vez en cuando poder vestir tan cómodamente como con unos pantalones de este tipo y una simple camiseta.

Se que a muchos de vosotros todavía no os he convencido con esta tendencia de pantalones ‘chandaleros’ pero, ¿no creéis que según cómo los lleves y los combines es algo muy trendy para nuestros días libres? A mi personalmente tengo que decir que cada día me gustan más. Hoy llevo estos grises con bolsillos a los lados y ajustados en el tobillo que he combinado con una camiseta de manga larga negra y unas zapatillas negras y blancas de cordones. Sólo llevo un maxi bolso negro, unas gafas de sol también negras y plateadas y mis joyas de plata de figuras geométricas que me encantan por lo sencillas y diferentes que son para mi día a día.

What about if temperatures drop of? Then I return once again to my comfortable tracksuit pants style for a day of non stop and working from home.

I love this kind of looks and I do recognise that I’m getting more and more used to go the more comfy and simple, the better. Having to go always so well dressed up to the events, parties, meetings, shootings… is so good to me from time to time to dress as comfortably as I can with this type of pants and a simple tee.

I know that I have not yet convinced many of you about wearing this trend of tracksuit pants but don’t you think that depending on how we combine them they are very cool and trendy for our days off? Personally to me I have to say I like them more and more every day. Today I’m wearing these soft gray ones with side pockets and tight on the ankle that I have combined with a long-sleeved black t-shirt and black and white lace sneakers. I just chose a black maxi bag, my black and silver sunnies and my silver jewelry with geometric figures that I love so much because of its simplicity and the different they are for other ones.

Hats for Summer

De sobra es conocida mi pasión por los sombreros, especialmente en invierno, donde siempre os cuento que pienso que dan un toque de clase y de mucho estilo a cualquiera de mis looks… En verano también me gustan los típicos beige o blancos con lazos negros que uso más para mis momentos de playa, pero he encontrado este tipo crochet que he decidido utilizar también para protegerme del sol en mi día a día.

Llevo un chaleco de corte desigual color maquillaje, una camiseta de canalé blanca debajo y unos shorts negros bordados. Para seguir con esta combinación de colores escogí mi bolso bicolor en negro y el mismo tono del chaleco. Hoy llevo unas de mis sneakers más cómodas y modernas para esta temporada porque son plateadas (se pueden combinar con prácticamente cualquier look) y además perforadas por lo que pasa el aire continuamente y no me suda el pie. Y como joyas escogí mi colgante dorado personalizado con mi nombre y mi brazalete con corazón.

Y ahora vamos a seguir trabajando para llegar muy lejos y cumplir nuestros sueños.

You already should know my passion for hats, especially in winter time, where I almost daily tell you that I think they give a touch of class and many style to any of my looks… So in summer season I also like the classic beige or white with black ties on tope, I use them for my beach time, but I have found this crochet style one so I decided also to use it to protect myself from the sun in my day a day.

I’m wearing my one-sided makeup color vest with a ribbed white tee underneath and my black needlework shorts. To continue with this color combination I chose my color blocked shoulder bag in black and also makeup color. For this day I took some of my most comfortable and trendy sneakers for this season because they are in silver (so they can be combined with almost any look) and also perforated so that the air passes continuously and do not sweat my feet. And finally I have chosen as jewels my gold necklace personalized with my name and my gold heart bracelet.

And now let’s start continue working to follow our dreams so they will become true!

About the ’50s…

Creo que en alguna ocasión os he comentado que me encantaría haber nacido hace 60 años para haber podido vivir más de cerca la vida de las mujeres de esa época ya que muchas de ellas que para mi son un ejemplo de trabajo duro, elegancia, belleza, etc. y sobre todo de inspiración diaria a la hora de vestir. Por ejemplo Marilyn Monroe, Liz Taylor o Audrey Hepburn que consiguieron revolucionar al mundo con sus estilismos y belleza. ¡Cómo me gustaría haberlas conocido!

Y es que aunque muchas veces no nos paremos a pensarlo y parezca que hace años de esto, fue prácticamente ayer cuando las mujeres parece que sólo servíamos para quedarnos en casa cuidando de los hijos o haciendo las tareas domésticas (y que conste que igualmente es algo muy respetable). Pero gracias a estas y otras miles de mujeres en el mundo que se plantaron y dijeron ‘Aquí estoy yo. Si un hombre puede hacerlo, yo también’, hemos ido poco a poco consiguiendo igualarnos a los hombres aunque es una batalla que todavía no está ganada…

Os cuento toda esta historia porque muchas veces me encuentro a algunas de vosotras, o me escribís por mail o por las redes sociales contándome que, al igual que yo, estáis empezando proyectos nuevos, o acerca de vuestros trabajos, y me hace mucha ilusión pararme de vez en cuando a ver hasta dónde hemos conseguido llegar las mujeres hoy en día… ¡y lo que nos queda!

En fin, que en honor a todo esto y dado que ayer aparte de tener un día bastante enfocado a la belleza (tratamientos corporales y mani y pedi), también tuve un día intenso de reuniones y shootings, opté por un look más arreglado. Qué mejor forma que dar ese toque elegante a un look que con una blazer… y esta de rayas estilo marinera fue mi elección de ayer. La combiné con unos jeans blancos y mis bailarinas acolchadas negras (toque que me encantaba de mi querida Audrey). Llevo un bolso rosa palo y unas maxi gafas de sol. Como accesorios un reloj de acero y mis nuevas joyas de plata que me encantan por lo originales que son y porque ya sabéis que al no llevar muchas joyas a diario las que escojo tienen que ser simples y sencillas: círculos y triángulo en este caso. ¿Os gustan?

I think that in some occasions I have told you that I would love to be born 60 years ago to be able to live more closely the lives of those great women of that time. Many of them to me are an example of hard work, elegance, beauty, etc. and especially daily inspiration when dressing. For example Marilyn Monroe, Liz Taylor and Audrey Hepburn who managed to revolutionize the world with its styling and beauty. I really would like to meet them!

And although many times we do not stop to think about it and it seems that it has passed years of this, the truth is that it was almost yesterday when women seem to only we here to stay at home taking care of children or doing housework (of course something also very respectable, don’t misunderstand me). But thanks to these and thousands of other women in the world that rose up and said, ‘Here I am. If a man can do it, so do we’, we have been slowly getting us equal to men although this battle is not yet won…

I tell you this story because many times when I meet some of you, or you write by mail or through my social networks telling me that, like me, you are starting new projects, or about your work and so, I am so happy to see how far we have succeeded in the world, many times working harder that men but always with a smile and remembering ‘never give up’… And we have still so much work to do girls!

Anyway, in honor of this and since yesterday apart from having a perfect beauty day (body treatments and mani and pedi at my fav places at the city), I also had an intense day of meetings and shootings, so I opted for a more office look. What a better way to give that elegant touch to a look than with a blazer… and this striped one sailor style was my choice yesterday. I combined it with a pair of white skinny jeans and my black padded flats (touch that I love from my dear Audrey). I chose a soft pink bag and a maxi sunnies. As accessories a steel watch and my new silver jewelry that I love because is so original. You know that I don’t use to wear a lot of jewelry on a daily basis, and whenever I wear something it must be simple and easy to wear and to combine like these pieces: circles and triangle in this case. Do you like them?
