Well dressed

Y para terminar la semana… un look más arreglado que ya me lo habéis pedido mil veces.

Todos sabemos lo que nos toca desde el mes de Mayo: bodas, bautizos, comuniones, graduaciones… incluso fiestas y cenas de verano. Siempre me preguntáis y me pedís que haga un post con ropa más arreglada para este tipo de eventos y como vuestros deseos son órdenes he preparado este y algunos más que os iré colgando las próximas semanas.

No es necesario gastarnos un dineral en ropa o vestidos que seguramente no nos vayamos a poner más porque el estampado o el color o la pedrería tan llamativa ya hacen que nos convirtamos en “la que repite”. Yo prefiero ser mucho más práctica e ir a por algo más barato y sobre todo que luego me pueda poner a diario. Esto es justo lo que me pasó cuando vi este vestido de encaje en color blanco roto. Evidentemente me encantó nada más verlo, pero me decidí a comprármelo porque sabía que me lo iba a poder poner tanto para el día a día (como habéis visto en mis redes sociales) como para ocasiones más especiales como os muestro hoy.

Aprovechando que mi querida Anabel me cortó ayer el pelo como siempre en el Salón Moncho Moreno, decidí hacer este shooting justo después. Llevo el vestido y quería combinarlo con complementos coloridos, ¡que para eso estamos en verano! Por eso escogí esta chaqueta roja tipo crop a juego con mis labios y un clutch dorado con piedras también rojas y en otros colores combinando a la vez con mis pulseras. Como calzado opté por mis sandalias de serpiente amarillas y negras con cordones que son cómodas para mi a la hora de caminar.

Espero que os guste esta propuesta y la semana que viene os traeré otras ideas…

I want to finish this week with a more elegant look as you have already asked me a thousand times.

We all know what we have since the month of May: weddings, baptisms, communions, graduations events… even summer parties and dinners. You always ask me to do more posts with these kind of clothes more elegant for these events and as your wishes are orders to me here you have a good option and we are already preparing some other good outfits for the next coming weeks.

There’s no need to spend a lot of money on clothes or dresses that certainly we are not going to wear more than one day because the pattern or color or the flashy rhinestones will make us feel that we are the one who “repeats” outfit… I prefer to be more practical and go for something cheaper and above all that then I can wear it daily. This is just what happened to me when I saw this dress for the first time. It’s in beige lace. Obviously I loved it but I decided to buy it because I knew I would be able to wear it for both: for my day a day (as you saw on my social networks) and for special occasions as I show you today.

Once again my dear Anabel cut my hair yesterday as always in Moncho Moreno, so I decided to do this shooting right after that. I’m wearing the lace dress and wanted to combine it with colorful accessories, we are in summer guys! So I chose this red jacket crop style to play with my red lips and a clutch in gold with red stones also in other colors and combining both with my happy bracelets. I chose as shoes my yellow and black sandals snake printed with laces that are comfortable for me when walking.

Shorts season!

Por fin ha llegado la hora de sacar del armario nuestra amplia colección de shorts. No se vosotros pero yo desde luego los shorts vaqueros los tengo en mil diseños, modelos y colores…

Estos son mi última adquisición: un short vaquero muy corto con bordes deshilachados y rotos en los bolsillos. Ya me visteis la semana pasada combinándolos en ESTE LOOK con chaqueta larga de lana mientras que hoy he optado por ponérmelos con una camisa perforada en color blanco roto. Esta camisa es completamente de mi estilo para los días en que quiero ir más arreglada, la verdad es que fue amor a primera vista.

Como calzado y a juego con el cinturón escogí mis slippers de terciopelo negras con caritas de gato que tienen bordados y tacón en dorado. También llevo mi nuevo bolso blanco que ya conocéis que me encanta para veranito y sobre todo para resaltar mi moreno de estos días hehe.

Como algunos habéis leído en mis redes sociales estamos trabajando en varios proyectos que espero poder iros contando dentro de muy poco. Es cierto que una de las mayores satisfacciones en la vida es trabajar duro para recoger los frutos al final, ver cómo los sueños se hacen realidad… y os debo gran parte a todos vosotros, así que ¡GRACIAS!

Finally it has arrived the season of the year where girls use to wear all kind of shorts and men of course are glad about that, hehe. I absolutely can tell you that I have this kind of denim short jeans in thousand designs, patterns and colors… and I love them all!

These ones are my latest acquisition: a very short model in light denim with ripped pockets. You saw me last week on THIS POST combining them with a long wool jacket while today I decided to wear them with a net shirt in beige color. This shirt is completely my style for the days when I have to go more elegant and well dressed, the truth is that it was love at first sight when I first saw it.

As shoes and matching also the belt I chose my black velvet slippers with cat faces with golden heel and details. So cute! Don’t you think so? I bought them in my last trip to NY. I’m also wearing my new white bag and I do love it for summer time to highlight my tanned skin these days, hehe.

As some of you would have read on my social networks we are working on some special and important projects that I hope to can show and tell you very soon. It is true that one of the greatest satisfactions in life is to work hard and to be proud of what you achieve, to see how your dreams finaly come true… and I owe much of this to all of you, so THANK YOU GUYS!

Make it a lifestyle, not a duty

¡Buenos días de Lunes!

Comenzamos con unos de los looks que se va a convertir seguramente en mi favorito de la semana. Vuelvo a escoger mi combinación de colores favorita: blanco y negro, y creo que el resultado es un estilismo muy veraniego, moderno y casual. ¡A mi me encanta!

Una de las cosas que más me gusta de cómo enfoco yo mi trabajo, de cómo lo vivo, es que me he ido convirtiendo en una persona más ‘creadora de tendencias’, innovadora. Me gustaría que os dieseis cuenta de que nos es NADA FÁCIL crear 5 looks diferentes cada semana… Son más de 20 al mes porque siempre os cuelgo también muchos en las redes sociales que luego no publico en le blog… Mi forma de vestir depende muchísimo de mil factores: de cómo me levante, de las reuniones o eventos que tenga ese día, del tiempo que haga, de mi estado del humor, de la última película/libro que he visto/leído, … me inspiro en mil cosas y de ahí que tenga un estilo diferente cada día. Me parece que esto es algo muy enriquecedor.

Por eso cuando os enseño mis looks de diario como hoy la mayoría de las veces son una mezcla de todo esto que os digo. Estoy trabajando, o llegando a una reunión, o durmiendo y estoy pensando: “mañana me gustaría ponerme zapatillas, ¡qué comodidad! venga, las podría combinar con esto, con aquello…” y me imagino en mi mente un look que me defina y con el que me sienta cómoda, siempre siendo yo misma claro.

Hoy llevo falda vaquera en color blanco con botones en el centro que ya sabéis que están muy de moda esta temporada. Encima decidí ponerme un crop top negro que con las altas temperaturas de estos días yo ya los he sacado del armario. Cogí mi camisa de cuadros blancos y negros para jugar un poco con el estilismo y porque salimos muy pronto al shooting, así que al principio la llevaba puesta antes de conseguir un toque muy trendy con ella atada a la cintura. Y por último mi calzado favorito: unas buenas zapatillas deportivas a juego. Además me encanta llevarlas planas, no de bota, para que se vean mis mini tatuajes de los pies, hehe.

Hello Monday!

And I start with one of the looks that probably will become my favorite of this week. I return once again to my fav combination of colors: black and white, and I think that the result is a very summery, modern and casual styling. I love it! Don’t you?

One of the things that I like most about how I approach my work, how I live it every day, is that I’ve became into a more trendsetter person. I really want you to realize how difficult it is to create five different looks every single week. They are more than 20 per month because many times I show you on my social networks what I’m wearing at that moment and I don’t publish it on the blog… So it’s not SO EASY! My clothes and style depends very much on thousand factors: how I got up, meetings or events I have along the day, the weather, my state of humor, the last movie/book I’ve seen/read… I use to get inspired by a thousand things and because of that I have a different style every day. I think this is very enriching and good thing to me, you know that I don’t like the statics or permanent things or people. Everything must be changing, always.

So when I show you my daily looks like today most of the days they are the result of a mixture of all this things I just told you. I’m working, or coming to a meeting, or sleeping and I’m thinking: “I want tomorrow to wear sneakers, my fav and comfy shoes, so how can I combine them? I could wear them with this, with that …” and I imagine in my mind some look options until I define and choose with which one I will feel more comfortable, always being myself.

Today I’m wearing a white denim skirt with buttons in the middle that you know that are very trendy for this season. On top I decided to wear a black crop top because with the high temperatures of these days I have taken out of my closet mostly all of my summer clothes. I also took my checkered shirt in black and white to play around with the styling and as we started very soon the shooting at the very beginning I was wearing it over before getting a very grunge touch with it tied at the waist. And finally my favorite shoes: sneakers playing good game with the rest of the outfit. I also love this flat model, not bootie, to can show my mini tattoos on my feet, hehe, love them!

How to style a striped shirt

Último post de mi viaje a Valencia.

No podía terminar el viaje sin un look más arreglado y formal. Esta camisa me la habéis visto en varias fotos y vídeos de mis redes sociales pero todavía no habíamos realizado ningún shooting con ella… hasta hoy. Aparte de que me encantan las rayas, creo que al llevar azul y blanco es muy fácil de combinar con todo tipo de prendas: desde shorts en cualquier color a pantalones largos o de campana como los míos de hoy, jeans, incluso con unos jeans negros rotos puede dar un juego muy casual. Pronto os la enseñaré con otras opciones.

Decidí atarme un jersey azul marino de cashmere a la cintura porque por las noches las temperaturas bajaban ligeramente. Opté por mis pantalones de campana blancos para ir adaptándome poco a poco a esta nueva tendencia que ya os conté que me encanta que esté de vuelta porque demuestra una vez más que la moda es cíclica. Como calzado para no arrastrar el pantalón escogí mis sandalias abiertas o ‘mules‘ negras con dos tiras. Sencillas y cómodas para caminar un rato largo… Un bolso en estampado ‘damier‘ junto con mi reloj de acero y dorado de esfera azul marino y mi colgante de corazón de plata y oro rosa fueron mis accesorios.

Hoy tengo un día largo en Barcelona… Me voy un rato a la playa antes de una comida muy especial, un desfile, un par de reuniones, un evento de calzado y una cena. Además al final vuelvo a Madrid mañana por la noche para aprovechar allí el finde de trabajo, ¡que tenemos muchas sorpresas pendientes que os queremos poder contar cuanto antes!

Last post on my trip to Valencia.

I could not finish this travel without showing you a more elegant and formal look. I’m wearing this striped shirt that you already have seen me in many pictures and videos on my social networks but not yet in any shooting for the blog… until today. Besides I love the stripes, I think that this combination of colors, blue and white, is very easy to combine with all kinds of clothes, from shorts in any color to pants or flared pants like mine today, jeans, and even with some black ripped jeans you can get a very casual and trendy styling. Soon I’ll show you other options.

I decided to tie at my waist a navy blue cashmere sweater because at night temperatures dropped slightly. I chose my white flared pants once again to go slowly adapting myself to this new trend that I told you that I really like to have it back because it proves once again that fashion is cyclical. To don’t drag the pants I chose my open sandals or ‘mules’ in black with two strips. Simple and comfortable to walk a long time… A shoulder bag with ‘damier’ print, my steel and gold watch with navy blue sphere and my heart necklace in silver and pink gold were my accessories.

And I have a long a busy day today in Barcelona… I’m going to the beach for a couple of hours before a special meal, a bridal show, a couple of meetings, a footwear opening and a dinner. Furthermore finally I will return to Madrid tomorrow night to spend there the weekend working, we have many outstanding surprises that we just can’t wait to show you, so stay tuned!

Long weekend in Vlc

Aunque es verdad que me paso la vida viajando por trabajo pero también con momentos de ocio, necesitaba tener también un par de días para mi sola, para desconectar y frenar un poco el ritmo de vida que llevo a diario… (aunque de las redes sociales como veis no he desconectado mucho haha). Por eso decidí irme este puente a Valencia a disfrutar de la playa y del buen tiempo.

Hemos tenido bastante suerte comparado con otras zonas de España porque nos ha hecho un tiempo de lujo: solazo por el día en la playa y mínimas por la noche de 25 grados… de ahí los looks tan veraniegos que os voy a enseñar estos días. A estas alturas ya todos conoceréis a mi amiga india Abbi, ¡es un amor de niña! Se vuelve a su país dentro de poco ya y yo le voy a echar mucho de menos…

Llevaba tiempo queriendo estrenar mi maxi chaqueta de lana para primavera. Ya sabéis que me encantan las chaquetas de este tipo y me habéis visto varias en invierno. Esta es por debajo de la rodilla, tipo chanel y los colores turquesa y blanco me parecen los perfectos para este entretiempo. La he combinado con una camiseta blanca de tirantes y unos shorts vaqueros. Al ser una chaqueta larga quise ponerme algo de tacón para no parecer más “bajita” y opté por estas sandalias tricolor y mis maxi gafas moradas. ¿Qué os parece esta propuesta para una tarde primaveral?

Mañana vuelvo a Barcelona toda la semana por más trabajo así que imaginaros el día que tengo hoy… ¡vamos a ello!

It is true that I spend many time of my life traveling for work and some times also leisure, but I needed a couple of days to myself, to disconnect and calm down from my daily life… (although from the social networking as you have seen I have not disconnected at all haha). So I decided to go this long weekend to Valencia to enjoy the beach and the good weather.

We have been quite lucky compared to other cities in Spain because we have enjoyed so good temperatures: super sunny days at the beach and minimum 25 degrees at night… yaaay! So I will be showing you all my looks along these coming days. By now you all know my Indian friend Abbi, she is really cute! She will soon come back to her country and I will miss her so much…

I have been waiting to release my maxi fleece jacket for this Spring season. You know that I love these kind of jackets for any season, I have some you other options in Winter time. This is below the knee, chanel style and in turquoise and white colors, it seems perfect for this halftime, don’t you think so? I have combined it with a white tank top and jean shorts. As I was wearing this long jacket I wanted to put on some heels to don’t feel so “small” so I opted for these tricolor sandals and my maxi purple sunnies. What do you think about this proposal for a spring afternoon?

Tomorrow I will be back in Barcelona for all the week for more work so imagine the full agenda that I have today… let’s do this!

Compañero de la vida… amante… amigo especial… el caso es que en eso se han convertido mis nuevos ‘suelas rojas’ tricolor de los cuales llevo enamorada desde hace meses cuando los vi por primera vez.

Combina justo dos de los tres colores que yo más suelo llevar a diario: blanco y negro. Pero el color rojo le da ese toque más llamativo y especial y como sabéis que me encanta llevar los labios rojos o algún accesorio en este tono… pues son los zapatos perfectos para mi.

Como primer look he querido dar un toque evidentemente elegante pero moderno. Así que he escogido unos shorts de cuero negros de cuello alto con lazada. Una camiseta blanca básica como parte de arriba con mi chaqueta roja de cola que ya sabéis que tengo también en negro. Como veis son muy socorridas para mi día a día. Y como ‘bolso’ mi nueva funda de iPhone tipo bolso Boy de Chanel, ¡me encanta!

Me voy al AVE con dirección Valencia. ¡Que disfrutéis del fin de semana!

Partners in crime… special friend… lover… the fact is that my new ‘red soles’ has become my new best friend as I’ve been waiting for them since I first saw them months ago and I absolutely felt in love.

They combine just two of the three colors that I usually wear more in my day a day: white and black. But the red color gives that special touch more trendy and as you know I love wearing red lips or an accessory in this tone… that’s the reason why they are perfect to me!

As the first option to show you I’ve chosen a look where I wanted to give an obviously elegant but also modern touch. So I chose a black leather shorts high waisted with lace at the waist. A basic white shirt on top with my red jacket over that you know I also have in black color. As you can see they are very useful for my day a day. And as ‘bag’ my new iPhone cover type Boy Chanel style, I do love it!

I’m going right now to take a train to Valencia. Enjoy your weekend guys!

New cabinet at the living room

¡Nuevo post de DECO (decoración) en el blog!

Hacía tiempo que no actualizaba esta sección y como siempre me estáis pidiendo que enseñe cómo tengo decorada mi casa hoy os quiero enseñar uno de mis salones donde he colocado mi nuevo armario/vitrina. Espero que os guste cómo he combinado todo aunque como os cuento en el vídeo creo que lo acabaré cambiando de sitio todo pronto… no me gustan las cosas estáticas o permanentes, me gusta estar en movimiento, en cambio, siempre, en todos los aspectos de mi vida.

El armario es de una nueva tienda que he descubierto de decoración que me encanta aparte de porque el estilo encaja perfectamente con el que llevo en mi casa también porque así salimos un poco de las típicas “comerciales” que al final todos conocemos. La tienda se llama Banak y de ahí son también muchas de las pequeñas cositas que he puesto dentro de la vitrina. El resto son de Zara Home y Casa.

Para un día de “manos a la obra” en casa escogí unos cómodos pantalones tipo chandal y una camiseta básica negra con mis sneakers blancas y negras.

New DECO post up on the blog!

I haven’t updated this section since many time ago and as you are always asking me to show you how I decorate my house today I want to show one of my living rooms where I have placed my new cabinet. I hope you like how I’ve combined everything but as I tell you in the video I think I’ll relocate everything again very soon… I do not like static or permanent things, I like to be in motion, however, always, in all aspects of my life.

This showcase is from a new store that I discovered a few weeks ago and I liked it because their style matches perfectly with mine and the style of my house but also because it is wonderful to discover new cool brands apart from the typical “commercial” ones that in the end we all know. The e-shop is called Banak and there are also many little things I’ve put inside the shelves. The rest of the deco is from Zara Home and Casa.

For a day of “hands-on” at home I chose a comfortable tracksuit pants in khaki green and a black basic tee with my white and black sneakers.

Good basics never fail

Hoy la historia va de básicos porque ¿quién no tiene en su armario a estas alturas una cazadora de cuero, una camiseta básica de estilo militar y unos jeans rotos oscuros? Seguro que todos… así que hoy os dejo una combinación muy sencilla con estas prendas que todos tenemos y que bien sirve tanto para mujer como para hombre. ¡A por el VIERNES!

Como os digo habitualmente me gusta cada vez más la tendencia de ir cuanto más simple y sencillo mejor. Por eso llevo una cazadora de cuero negra, una camiseta básica en verde militar y mis pantalones con cortes hoy en gris oscuro. Las chapas que llevo colgadas con frases positivas son otro toque militar muy de moda. En las mias pone: “Ladies Rules” y “Make Fashion not War”. Como calzado mis All Star que me resultan muy cómodas para los días en que tengo que andar corriendo de un lado para otro o para mis momentos de relax de los findes. Maxi bolso, reloj XL y gafas negras terminan de completar mi último outfit de la semana.

Today is all about basics because, who does not have in their closet nowadays a leather jacket, a basic military style tee and a pair of dark ripped jeans? Surely all of you have it all… so today I wanted to show you a simple combination with these garments that we all have and that it easy to wear to both women and men. Let’s start this FRIDAY!

As I usually say to you I like so much the trend of becoming more and more simple when dressing up, the simpler the better. So I’m wearing a black leather jacket, a basic tee military style in khaki green and my ripped jeans today in dark gray. The tags I’m wearing with positive phrases are another military touch and very fashionable. In mine it says: “Ladies Rules” and “Make Fashion not War”. As shoes my All Star are always a must have because I find them very comfortable for the days when I have to run from one place to another or my time to relax on weekends. A maxi bag, XL watch and black sunnies end up completing my last outfit of the week.

Flared pants day 2: b&w

Estaba bastante claro que uno de los primeros looks que os iba a enseñar con mis nuevos pantalones de campana negros iba a estar combinado con el blanco… ¿no?

Ya sabéis que es mi combinación favorita de colores y pienso que para un día de trabajo es una buena opción llevar unos pantalones de campana con algo de tacón y una simple camisa o camiseta blanca con una blazer.

Yo hoy en concreto he optado por ponerme una camiseta porque así rompía con el toque elegante que aporta la blazer tipo crop estilo chanel. ¿Cuántas veces os he comentado que me encantan las camisetas o accesorios con mensajes? El de hoy desde luego no puede ser más claro: “tú”. En el pecho izquierdo. Cerquita del corazón. ¡Me encanta! Si, es cierto que soy cada vez más fan de la ropa muy sencilla y simple porque ya sabéis que pienso que no por mucho recargar un look o llevar estampados imposibles vamos mejor vestidos… por eso me gusta tener camisetas sencillas y básicas que me sirvan para todo pero que tengan ese ‘algo’ que las haga diferentes, no la típica que podemos encontrar en cualquier tienda.

Como calzado y para no ir arrastrando los pantalones decidí estrenar por fin mis nuevas sandalias negras de charol. Y como estoy deseando que llegue ya el veranito yo voy sumando poco a poco a mis looks complementos claros. Hoy es el turno de mi nuevo bolso bandolera en blanco. Me encantan este tipo de bolsos porque son cómodos al llevarlos de lado, el diseño es original y no quedan grandes para mi cuerpo y sobre todo porque me cabe todo lo que tengo que llevar a diario. Para terminar de completar el look llevo reloj de piel negro con detalles dorados a juego con el cinturón con letras XL doradas.

It was absolutely clear that one of the first looks that I was going to show you with my new black flared pants black would be combined with white color… right?

You know that’s my favorite color combination of all times and I think that for a working day is a good choice to wear these kind of flared pants with some heels and a simple shirt or t-shirt in white with a blazer over.

Today I’ve chosen a white t-shirt to break with the elegant touch provided by the crop type chanel style black blazer. And how many times have I said to you that I do love the shirts and accessories with good messages? Today’s certainly can not be clearer: “you”. On the left chest. Close to my heart. Love it! Yes, it is true that I’m becoming a super fan of simple and easy to wear clothes because you know that I think that it is not necessary to recharge a look or to wear impossible prints to go well dressed… so I like to have simple and basic tees like this on my closet but have that ‘something’ that makes them different, not the typical ones.

As shoes and to avoid going dragging my pants I finally decided to wear my new black leather sandals. And since I’m already looking forward summer time I¡m slowly adding to my looks light colors on my complements. Today is the turn of my new shoulder bag in white. I love these kind of bags because they are comfortable to carry on the body, the design is original and they are not so big for my body and especially because I can carry everything I have to wear everyday with me. To complete the look I’ve chosen a black leather watch with gold accents to match the belt with XL golden letters.

Flared pants are back!

¿Quién me iba a decir a mi que después de años peleándome con mi madre para que me comprase los modernos pantalones de campana cuando tenía unos 18 años (más conocidos como “barre suelos” para ella) se iban a volver a poner de moda más de 10 años después?

Pues si amigos, así es la moda, es cíclica como bien dicen los expertos y es que ¡todo vuelve! por eso es mejor que las prendas que más nos gusten o en las que hallamos invertido más no las tiremos y mejor las “realicemos”… ¡que nunca se sabe!

Ahora me rio pero en su momento no me hacía ninguna gracia que mi madre no entendiese que esos pantalones se llevaban y que yo también tenía que tenerlos claro, ¿no os pasó esto también a vosotras? Y qué queréis que os diga… me costó adaptarme a los pantalones de pitillo después de tanta campana, y cuando por fin lo hago y se convierten en un must have para mi día a día ahora ¿vuelve los ‘flared pants’? Pues nada… yo he decidido empezar poco a poco con este modelo que me he comprado en los dos colores básicos por excelencia: blanco y negro.

Hoy he combinado este modelo blanco con unas cuñas de madera para caminar cómoda y sobre todo no arrastrarlos y con bolso y camisa vaquera en estampado étnico azul, ¿qué opináis de mi propuesta?

If only just one year ago you would tell me that flared pants would become again fashionable I would believe you! After years fighting with my mom to buy me those modern flared pants (known as “sweeps floors” for her) when I was around 18 years old, they went back into fashion over 10 years later, wtf?

But guys, as we all know fashion is cyclical as also the experts admit, so everything will be back soon or later! So my advise to you is to keep your most beloved clothes or the most expensive ones because you would never know when you will again need them…

Now it is so funny to me tom remember it but when I was a teenager I was so angry with my mother because she did not understand that these pants I wanted to wore were completely trendy and that I had to wear them, didn’t this also happen to you? And the truth is that it was difficult to me to adapt to the skinny pants after all these elephant kinda pants and when I finally do it and they become a must have for my day a day now what happen with the ‘flared pants’? Hahaha… Well, so I decided to start with this simple and easy to wear model that I bought in the two basic colors: black and white.

Today I have combined this white model with my wooden wedges to can go walking comfy and shoulder bag in klein blue with an ethnic print denim shirt on top, what do you think about my proposal?
