Las fotos de hoy quizá hayan sido de las que más me han gustado de mi viaje express a Bruselas. ¿Por qué? Porque aparte de ser mi momento de relax para trabajar desde esta fabulosa terraza con vistas a toda la ciudad (del Hotel Eurostars Montgomery en que me hospedé), el look que llevo es muy cómodo y fácil de conseguir con prendas similares de vuestro armario.
Escogí esta combinación effortless con camiseta básica blanca, pantalones vaqueros de cuello alto con doble vuelta en el bajo y un jersey de cashmere beige para cuando refrescaba al atardecer. Como ya es habitual siempre alguna de mis bailarinas color-blocked me acompañan en casi todos mis viajes por lo cómodas y fácilmente combinables que son. Encima de la mesa todo lo necesario para una larga tarde: mi ordenador, mi agenda y un par de buenos e interesantes libros de lectura.
¿Qué opináis de este outfit sencillo de colores neutros y prendas básicas?

These pictures probably are my favs from my express trip to Brussels. Why? Because besides being my relaxing time to work from this fabulous penthouse overlooking the city (at the Eurostars Montgomery Hotel where I stayed in), the look I’m wearing is very comfortable and easy to get the same style with similar clothes from your closet.
I chose this effortless combination with a basic white tee, a pair of high waisted jeans with double turn-ups and a beige cashmere sweater for when the sun goes down. As usually a pair of my color-blocked flats come with me in almost all my travels because they are so comfy and are easily combined. On my work table everything I needed for a long afternoon: my computer, my agenda and a couple of good and interesting books.

Como siempre en mis viajes me gusta encontrar sitios cómodos y tranquilos donde poder pasar unas horas trabajando a mi aire sin que nadie me moleste. Lo que más valoro aparte de la tranquilidad es que sea un espacio en el que me sienta cómoda y que me transmita justo eso: serenidad y que me haga sentir como en casa. En esta ocasión esta fue la sala que escogí en el Hotel Montgomery 5* de Bruselas en el que me alojé. La decoración, muy clásica y elegante, no podía combinar más con mi estilo y con lo que me gusta encontrarme cuando salgo de mi casa. Allí pasé varias horas de trabajo…
Analizando más en profundidad el look escogí un mono vaquero negro que hacía tiempo que andaba buscando uno acorde con mi estilo hasta que encontré este. Debajo una camiseta blanca básica con rayas grises y un jersey de cashmere en beige. Mis bailarinas color-blocked combinaban a la perfección con los tonos del peto y del jersey.
Ya estoy de vuelta por Madrid y a punto de empezar con este lunes y esta semana llenos de trabajo y reuniones pero como siempre con muchas ganas de ello.

As always in my travels I like to find a comfortable and quiet place where to spend a few hours working on my own without anyone bothering me. What I always look for is calm apart from being a place where I feel comfortable and able to work feeling like at home. At this 5* Eurostars Montgomery Hotel where I stayed in Brussels this was the saloon I chose where to do my work. The deco, very classic and elegant, combined perfectly with my style and what I like to find when I’m far away from home. There I spent many working hours…
Talking about my look I chose a black denim jumpsuit that I’ve been looking for for a long time until I found this one. I put on basic white shirt with gray stripes and a cashmere sweater in beige. My color-blocked flats that combined perfectly with the colors of the jumpsuit and jersey.
And I’m back in Madrid and about to start a very busy week full of work and meetings but as always happy do do it!
Videoshopping muy cómodo y colorido el de esta semana con estas bailarinas completamente flexibles que podéis encontrar en los colores más veraniegos. Ya sabéis que las bailarinas son mi calzado favorito por excelencia tanto en verano como en invierno y estas perforadas hacen que transpire mejor el pie aparte de que la red les da un toque muy original y moderno. También incorporan el ser completamente flexibles así que los bordes ni hacen rozaduras ni dejan marca, esto es un nuevo diseño que ya se lleva mucho en Estados Unidos. Yo que ya las he probado en varios colores os puedo asegurar que son muy cómodas y de alta calidad además de que el precio es mucho más asequible que el de otras bailarinas del mismo estilo. Y para las menos atrevidas que no os veis con el modelo de red tenéis otros modelos más clásicos en piel como podéis ver en el vídeo.

Videoshopping very comfy and colorful this week with these flexible flats that you can find in many summer colors. You know that these kinda flats are my favorite shoes for my day a day in both summer and winter seasons and these perforated ones make me feel very comfy. They give to each look a very original and modern touch. Also they incorporate fully flexible design so they don’t leave marks or scratches, this is a new design that is becoming very popular in the United States. I’ve tried these models and in different colors and I can assure you they are very comfortable and high quality but furthermore the price is much more affordable than other flats of the same style. But for the one of you that don’t find this perforated model matching so much with your style you can choose the leather ones as you can see on the video which is a more classic model.
Bruselas, día 1. Llegué ayer a mediodía a esta ciudad europea y la verdad es que me sorprendió mucho verla tan vacía… claro que no sabía que aquí era puente y mucha gente estaba fuera. Entre reunión y reunión aproveché para recorrer la ciudad dando un paseo y tomé estas fotos en algunas de las zonas menos concurridas y que más me gustaron. Son por el barrio residencial Montgomery y por Brouckère que es la zona más comercial (y de shopping) de la ciudad y precisamente ahí es donde está situado el Hotel Eurostars Montgomery donde me alojo que es de un estilo clásico y vintage como a mi me gusta, entrar y ver que es un hotel elegante y con personalidad.
Aunque no fue un día soleado en realidad no hacía frío así que opté por ponerme una gabardina cloro maquillaje que es una prenda perfecta para los días grises. Debajo una camiseta de rayas para dar un toque más marinero combinada con mis pantalones rajados. Unas cómodas sneakers siempre son una buena opción para recorrer una ciudad y más cuando es la primera vez. Mi inseparable maxi bolso me acompaña siempre en estos viajes en los que tengo que llevar encima todo el día la cámara, la agenda, un cuaderno de notas, mi botella de agua…
Mañana más y mejor, ¡hoy me toca visita a Amberes!
Brussels, Day 1. I arrived yesterday in the afternoon to this European city and the truth is that I was surprised to see it so empty… but we didn’t know that here was legal holiday so many people were out of town. Between meetings I took this pics to show you what I was wearing while I was strolling by the streets that I like most. They were taken at Montgomery neighborhood and at The Brouckère which is the more comercial (and shopping) area of the center. It’s just there where my Eurostars Montgomery Hotel is located which is a classic and vintage style hotel and they take care of every single detail, it’s very elegant and you know it since the first moment you come in.
Although it was not a sunny day actually was not so cold so I opted for wearing a color nude raincoat which is a perfect cloth for these gray kinda days. I combined it with a striped shirt in white and navy blue to get the navy style with my ripped dark slim fit jeans. A comfy sneakers are always a good choice for a city tour and even more when it’s the first time. My beloved maxi bag always comes with me on these trips where I have to carry all my belongings: the camera, my agenda, a notebook, my water bottle…
Tomorrow more and better news, today I’m going to Antwerp!
Yo ya estoy de camino al aeropuerto con dirección a Bruselas para los próximos 4 días. Os iré informando de mis movimientos por allí hehe.
Hoy os enseño con más detalle este look que muchos visteis en las redes sociales que llevé el domingo al evento de Telva Novias (dentro de poco os colgaré el link del vídeo y mi entrevista allí). Como ya sabéis que los domingos es mi día de la semana de ir más arreglada porque tengo comida familiar (aparte de haber tenido que ir a votar para las elecciones europeas) así que opté por el blanco combinado con azul celeste que me parece una mezcla muy apropiada para esta época del año. Me puse mis jeans rasgados blancos con una camiseta gris básica y una camisa vaquera encima. Como calzado mis cómodas slippers de ojos que ya no me quito. El bolso color-blocked en blanco y negro a juego con los tonos del pañuelo y otros detalles del look. Como complementos escogí unas gafas de sol transparentes con cristal reflectante en azul, mis colgantes en oro y plata con piñas de nácar y mi reloj blanco con detalles en tonos pastel.
¿Qué os parece esta opción para un día más casual?

I’m on my way to the airport direction to Brussels for the few coming days… I’ll let you know where I’ll be strolling around hehe.
Today I show you the details of this look that many of you saw in my social networks on Sunday. I was at Telva Brides event (soon I’ll post the link to the video and my interview there). As you know Sundays is my family day but last Sunday was also the day to go to vote for the European elections. I opted for white color combined with soft blue because I think it is a very appropriate mix for the actual season. I chose my white ripped jeans with a basic gray tee with a denim shirt over. My comfy glitter slippers as a shoes. My Color-blocked bag in black and white matching some colors of the scarf and other details of the look. As accessories I chose a pair of transparent sunglasses with blue reflective glass, my gold and silver necklace with pineapples and my white watch with pastel details.

Ya se va acercando el veranito y tenemos que empezar a escoger la ropa que luciremos en piscinas y playas. Hoy os enseño una forma muy fácil y original de escoger vuestros propios bañadores y así convertiros en diseñadores por un día.
Y es que la firma Surania ha tenido la maravillosa idea de que cada una de nosotras podamos diseñar nuestros propios bañadores. Porque en realidad, ¿por qué comprarnos uno que ya está hecho cuando podemos hacer el nuestro a medida? Podéis escoger de todo: desde el estampado y colores que queráis combinar hasta la forma de ambas partes, según la que más os guste y siente mejor a vuestro cuerpo. Para las que me preguntéis que si aciertan con las tallas (sobre todo con las partes de arriba) os adelanto que tienen dos formas de tomar las medidas: la standard y la detallada en la que podéis dar todas vuestras medidas exactas y os lo hacen a medida, ¿no es increíble? Y por si todo esto os parece poco tienen también bañadores completos para las que se sientan más cómodas. Hay para todos los cuerpos y gustos.
Y cómo no ahora lo que quiero es hablaros de mi bikini y de cómo lo he combinado yo. De entre la infinidad de posibilidades de partes de arriba que había al final me decanté por esta de flecos. ¿Por qué? Porque la veo muy diferente a lo que he visto hasta ahora en las tiendas y además ya sabéis que la tendencia de los flecos y el cowboy está volviendo con mucha fuerza. Como los estampados étnicos también son un must para este verano porque dan ese toque hippie a nuestros looks decidí combinar una tela étnica con un color liso para contrastar: el baby blue que sabéis que es otro de los must de la temporada. Como parte de abajo opté por una también con flecos pero con los colores invertidos respecto a la parte de arriba. Las lazadas de los laterales siempre me han parecido muy “girly“.

Hoy os quiero dejar las fotos más divertidas de este fin de semana con este pequeño buldog francés que nos dejaron para cuidar el finde. Se llama Elvis, ¿no es una monada? Y como ya sabéis que los rindes están para “descansar” (aunque no todos los consigamos hehe) pues le paseamos todo lo que pudimos…
Hoy han vuelto a subir las temperaturas pero la semana pasada y el fin de semana se han mantenido todavía altas en la capital y más para ser el mes de Mayo. Por eso combiné mi camisa de volantes en baby blue con una blazer de flores en tonos pastel. Debajo unos jeans claritos efecto lavados para el verano. Un maxi bolso para llevar todo lo necesario para una tarde de paseo. ¿Y qué os parecen mis nuevas gafas de sol con cristales reflectantes? Tengo varios modelos que me iréis viendo estos días, me encantan aparte de por su diseño porque el cristal es del máximo nivel de calidad para gafas de diario (nivel 4). Y opté también por complementos llamativos y veraniegos como este reloj Digitona en azul y estos colgantes de piñas de nácar combinando en plata y oro que no me pienso quitar, ¡me encantan las piñas!

Today I want to show you the funniest pics of this weekend with this little French bulldog who we had to care for a couple of days. His name is Elvis, isn’t it cute? And as you know that weekends are for ” relax” (although not all of us can do it hehe) we strolled around with him every day.
Today the weather in Madrid is better but during the last week and weekend the temperatures were so low to be in May. So I combined my baby blue shirt with a floral blazer in pastel colors. A pair of washed light jeans for summer. A maxi bag to carry everything I needed for an afternoon stroll. And what do you think about my new sunglasses with reflective glass? I have many models that I will show you these days, I love them because apart from its cool design the glass is the highest level of quality for daily eyewear (level 4) . And also I chose my Digitona blue watch and these pineapple necklaces combining silver and gold that I will wear for sure almost everyday , I love pineapples!

Hoy os quiero enseñar una colaboración muy especial que realicé para la firma española de calzado Manoletinos. Desde el primer momento en que me propusieron este proyecto lo acepté sin dudarlo porque ya sabéis que las bailarinas son mi calzado favorito por excelencia: en todos los colores y diseños y para cualquier época del año. Today I want to show a special collaboration that I did for the Spanish footwear brand Manoletinos. From the first time they proposed me this project I liked it because you know that flats are my fav shoes for every day in all colors and designs and for any season. In addition to this on their web you also have slippers and flats (“manoletinos”) for him. Yes, what’s different about this firm is that they have adapted the famous “manoletina” women’s flat to male fashion, what do you think about this innovative idea for men shoes?
Siento el retraso en publicar el post de hoy pero como algunos ya sabéis llevo una semana intensa y no por las reuniones y trabajo, sino porque estoy mala del oído y he tenido que ir varias veces al hospital…
¡Pero más vale tarde que nunca! Así que aquí os dejo el post de hoy que aunque no acompaña con el tiempo que estamos tendiendo estos días en la capital es muy fresquito y veraniego.
El vestido color-blocked en negro y rosa palo me gusta porque se puede llevar tanto a diario como lo llevo yo hoy con bailarinas y un maxi bolso como sandalias o tacones y un clutch. Además la mezcla de texturas del negro liso con los flecos me pareció muy original. Hoy si que he escogido varios complementos llamativos para resaltar el look: mi preferido es el brazalete dorado porque aparte de ser muy vistoso cuando estás morena sienta aún mejor. El anillo de los labios y mi collar de pinchos con diamantes ya me los habéis visto en otras ocasiones.

Sorry for the delay in posting today’s post but as many of you know I’ve had a very busy week of meetings and work and furthermore I’ve earache and I’ve had to go several times to the hospital…
But better late than never! So here I show you this post with a summer dress although these days are a little bit cold in Madrid.
I like the color-blocked dress in black and soft pink because you can wear it for both daily as I do now with these color-blocked flats and a maxi bag or with heels and a clutch to have dinner. I find very original the mix of textures of the dress: black silk with fringed pale skirt. Today I have chosen striking accessories to highlight the look: my favorite is the gold bracelet because it really makes you shine. You already know my lip ring and my spiked collar with diamonds.
