Double trouble: stripes & leo

¡Buenos días de Lunes chicos!

¿Cómo ha ido vuestro finde? El mío como muchos habréis visto en mis redes sociales la verdad es que ha sido muy divertido… hehehe. Una de las cosas que más me gusta en la vida ya sabéis que es la música, así que terminar un día de fiesta cantando como locos en el karaoke de Plaza de España fue lo mejor de mi fin de semana.

Hoy vuelvo a escoger mi combinación favorita de colores, blanco y negro, con esta camisa de rayas de nueva temporada. Creo que es una prenda atemporal porque como veis la podéis llevar en verano con unos shorts negros por ejemplo como yo hoy y en invierno con unos jeans oscuros y un jersey o blazer encima. Y como sabéis que soy una gran fan de mezclar estampados (algo en lo que no todo el mundo está de acuerdo pero es algo innato en mi y al final se trata de eso en la moda, de arriesgar y a veces conseguir resultados innovadores y diferentes, ¿no?)he escogido mis slippers de leopardo como calzado. ¿Qué os parece la combinación? A mi me parece que me he metido en un lío doble… hahaha.

Y vamos ya a tope con el lunes que tengo que terminar de preparar el programa de esta noche. Os espero a las 23:30h en el dial 23 de Movistar Plus.

Morning guys!

How was your weekend? Mine as many of you would have seen on my social networks has been really fun… hehehe. One of the things that I like most in life you know that is music so to end a party night like crazy guys singing at a karaoke in Plaza de España in Madrid was the highlight of my weekend.

Today I return once again to wear my favorite combination of colors, black and white, with this striped shirt from the new season. I think it’s a timeless cloth because as you can see you can wear it in summer time with for example some black shorts like I show you today or in winter with dark jeans and a sweater or a blazer over. And as you know I’m a big fan of mixing prints (something that not everyone agrees but it is something innate in me and in the end fashion is about that, risking and sometimes get innovative and different results, am I wrong?) so I chose my leopard print slippers as shoes. What do you think about the combination? It seems like I’m in a double trouble mess… hahaha.

And now keep on working this Monday. I have to finish preparing tonight’s program. Remember that you can watch me at 23:30h on the dial 23 of Movistar Plus TV.

¡¡BUENOS DÍAS!!

Hoy si que si, con muchas exclamaciones, en mayúsculas y una inmensa alegría.

¿Que por qué? Porque yo soy de las que piensa que en la vida todo esfuerzo, trabajo duro y el ir consiguiendo todo con la mente siempre en paz acaba teniendo su recompensa… ¡y hoy es la mía!

No encuentro las palabras para poder describiros cómo me siento ahora mismo. Feliz, emocionada (ayer os reconozco que lloré cuando recibí las camisetas), orgullosa de todo el esfuerzo y trabajo que hay detrás de esto… Y como os avancé ya ayer nada hubiese sido posible sin el apoyo incondicional de mi súper familia (mi papi, mi mami y mi hermanita) y mis amigos y la gente que me rodea que me han animado a seguir siempre luchando por mis sueños.

No me quiero enrollar porque quiero hablaros de los dos primeros diseños de camisetas que están disponibles ya en mi tienda online: IT GIRL MARTA SHOP. He querido empezar por dos camisetas básicas de tirantes para estos días de verano con una foto estampada y un mensaje claro como sabéis que me gusta a mi llevar: “everything happens for a reason“, “todo en la vida pasa por algo”. Además las he querido hacer en dos colores: la blanca lleva las letras del mensaje en negro y la negra lleva el mensaje en letras blancas.

¿Qué os parecen? ¿Os gustan?

Os he querido traer un par de opciones de looks con ellas como ideas para combinarlas pero me las vais a ver mucho apartir de ahora. Ya sabéis que todo lo que os enseño a diario son cosas que yo uso realmente en mi día a día, así que mucho más esto que lo he diseñado cuidadosa y personalmente con materiales de alta calidad y colores y frases que realmente me gustan y combinan con mi estilo, ¡espero que a vosotros también os gusten!

Bueno, pues hasta aquí el post tan especial de hoy y quiero dar un gracias generalizado a todos mis seguidores que me apoyáis cada día. Ojalá pudiese hacerlo individualmente pero ya no se de dónde sacar el tiempo. Pero quiero que os quede claro que leo cada mail y comentario sea donde sea y que me hace muy feliz recibir tanto apoyo de verdad.

GOOD MORNING!!

Today with many exclamations and capital letters, yes!!

Why? Because I am one of those who thinks that in life every effort, hard work and getting everything done with a clear mind always ends up having your reward… and today is mine!

I can not find the words to describe how I feel right now. Happy, excited (yesterday I do admit that I cried when I received the shirts), proud of all the hard work behind this project… And as I said yesterday nothing would have been possible without the support of my super family (my daddy, my mom and my amazing sister) and my friends and the people around me who have always encouraged me to keep fighting for my dreams.

But now let me introduce you the first two shirts designed by me that are available already in my online store: IT GIRL MARTA SHOP. I wanted to start with two basic tank tops for these summer days with a stamped picture of my back and a clear message as you know I like to wear: “everything happens for a reason”, and I can assure you that this is completely true. In addition to this I wanted to do these first models in two colors: in white with letters in black and in black with the message in white letters.

What do you think about them guys? Do you like them?

I also want to show you a couple of options to wear them, some ideas to combine them but I’m going to wear them a lot so you are gonna see me with many other outfits from now on. You know that everything I wear daily are things I really use in my daily life, so much more these tees that I’ve designed carefully and personally with high quality materials and colors and messages that I really like and combined with my style, I hope you like them too!

Well, here ends today’s special post and I want to give a generalized thank to all my fans who support me every day. I wish I could do individually but I really have no more time in my day a day as you can see hehehe. But I want you to have in mind that I read every email and comment wherever it is and that it makes me very happy receiving all your love and support. I love you all!

¡Buenos días amigos!

Siento haber estado un poquito desconectada estos días pero realmente necesitaba un poco olvidarme de todo mi ritmo diario aunque fuese sólo por 4 o 5 días y sentarme a disfrutar de la vida sin estar pendiente de horarios, publicaciones, fotos… ¡pero ya estoy de vuelta y con muy buenas noticias que contaros prontito! Hehehe.

Como muchos sabréis he estado desde el Miércoles pasado hasta ayer Domingo en Tarifa, Cádiz, pasando unos divertidos días con mis amigas saliendo de fiesta, tomando el sol y sobre todo con muchas risas y en un ambiente relajado y casual como a mí me gusta.

Comenzamos la semana con un look igual de relajado y a la vez en plena tendencia gracias a la prenda estrella: el top de ganchillo o crochet. Me encantan este tipo de tops porque aparte de que sabéis que son la última moda son también muy cómodos y fáciles de combinar con cualquier cosa y además muy fresquitos para verano. En estas fotos yo he combinado el mío en color blanco roto con unos shorts rotos con flores de colores. He aprovechado el rojo de las flores para escoger mi bolso bandolera rojo con tachuelas y como calzado llevo mis sandalias de madera con detalles en ante marrón.

Y Lunes significa… ¡Non Stop People! Así que os recuerdo una vez más que me podéis ver esta noche desde las 23:30h en el dial 23 de Movistar Plus con un nuevo temazo hoy de un súper cantante español.

Good morning my friends!

I’m being a little bit disconnected these last few days but I really needed it to forget all my lifestyle even if it was only for 4 or 5 days. I needed to stop and enjoy life without schedules, publications, the need to share photos… But now I’m back again with many good news that I will soon could tell you hehehe.

As many of you know I have been since last Wednesday until yesterday night in Tarifa, Cadiz (south of Spain) spending a few fun days with my friends partying, sunbathing and especially with lots of laughs and time to relax at a casual atmosphere as I like it when I’m in holidays.

Let’s start the week with an equal look relaxed but full of the latest trend thanks to the star complement: the crochet top. I love this kind of tops because apart from being one of the latest trends as I just told you it is also very comfortable and easy to combine with anything and also very chilly for summer. In these pictures I have combined mine in beige color with a ripped shorts with colorful floral print. I use the red flowers to choose my red shoulder bag with studs and I’m wearing my wooden sandals with brown suede details.

And Monday means… Non Stop People! So I remind you once again that you can watch me this night from 23: 30h on the dial 23 of Movistar Plus with a new great song today of a Spanish super singer.

Bodies: yay or nay?

Primer lunes de Agosto. Ya estoy de vuelta por Madrid de nuevo para comenzar una nueva semana de trabajo eso sí, con las pilas bien cargadas y la energía a tope.

Creo que ha pasado el mes entero de Julio y todavía no hemos hablado de los bodies y la repercusión cada vez mayor que van ganando… Ya habréis visto en mis redes sociales que yo soy una gran fan de ellos y de combinarlos con shorts y faldas, ¿qué os parecen a vosotros? Mi opinión personal es que tenemos bodies para todos los cuerpos: desde modelos más ajustados para las que estén más delgadas hasta diseños más amplios u holgados para disimular la zona del a tripa… Por ejemplo este que llevo yo hoy de flores es de los del segundo tipo y me gusta igual o más que los ajustados.

Llevo un body en azul turquesa clarito con estampado floral que es muy abierto por los laterales y nada ajustado. Lo he combinado con mis shorts lavados con flecos de tiro alto. Al llevar flores en tonos mostaza y marrones escogí el clutch a juego y mis nuevas sandalias atadas con cordones que ya sabéis que me encantan.

Pero como os digo más arriba este tipo de prendas también son fácilmente combinables con faldas o jeans de pitillo. Yo pienso que son una buena alternativa a los crop top para las que no quieran ir enseñando la tripa y además estilizan mucho la figura porque al ser una pieza completa no se arrugan por dentro. Con una falda de cintura alta también los he combinado alguna vez, ya os enseñaré nuevas opciones.

First Monday of August. Now I’m back in Madrid again to start a new working week with the batteries fully charged and my non stop power hehe.

I think we have spent the entire month of July and we have not yet spoken about the bodies and the growing impact they are gaining… You would have already seen in my social networks that I’m a big fan of them and I use to combine them with shorts and skirts, what do you think about them and this new trend? My personal opinion is that we have bodies for all kind of bodies: from models more adjusted for those who are thinner to baggy or oversize designs to cover that problematic areas… For example today I’m wearing this flower print one of the second type and I like equal or more than the skinny ones.

So I’m wearing a body in light turquoise blue with floral print that is open at the sides and a little bit oversize. I have combined it with my washed shorts with fringes and high waisted. As the flowers are in shades of mustard and brown colors I chose my mustard clutch matching and my new sandals tied with cords that you know that I love them for this new season.

But as I have said above these kind of clothes are also easy to combine with skirts or skinny jeans. I think they are a good alternative to crop top for those who do not want to show the belly and also they stylize the figure because being a one piece they won’t wrinkle inside the cloth. With a high waist skirt I have also combined them and I will show you new options and models these coming days.

Viernes de nuevo y a mi se me ha vuelto a pasar la semana volando… esto de poder compaginar vacaciones y trabajo me está viniendo genial porque así puedo aprovechar de ambas cosas al máximo. Es importante que siempre intentemos sacar el lado bueno de las cosas…

Y para despedir la semana quería hacerlo con un vestido que me ha enamorado de una firma de las que nos gustan, de las que no son tan conocidas para luego no ir iguales todos por la calle o a las fiestas. Se llama Apparentia y sus diseñadoras son dos jóvenes chicas que ponen todo su cariño y esfuerzo en todos sus diseños.

Este vestido en concreto que llevo yo es de estampado floral, con tirante ancho y escote en la espalda. Me encanta el detalle de volantes desiguales que lleva en la cintura para “camuflar” nuestra zona más problemática, hehe. Además el largo por encima de la rodilla es el perfecto para poderlo llevar tanto a una boda o evento más especial como para ir a trabajar, todo depende de los complementos con los que lo combinemos.

Yo hoy lo he combinado con un clutch negro con pedrería de colores que he encontrado en mi armario y creo que era la mejor opción. Como calzado llevo mis tacones en azul marino haciendo un guiño a los tonos azules del vestido. No llevo joyas ni otros accesorios para dar todo el protagonismo al vestido y porque sabéis que no soy muy de llevar joyas… Recordad: menos es más.

Y me voy a Marbella ahora con mi familia y amigos pero el Domingo estoy de vuelta para seguir viendoos a todos el lunes desde el canal Non Stop People con muchas más noticias de moda y de música.

Friday again and another week that has gone so fas to me… To combine working days with holidays is so great because I can take advantage of both things and enjoy them completely. It is important to always try to find the good side of the things, of our life and situations…

And I wanted to say goodbye to this week with a dress that I just fell in love with since the first time I saw it. The brand is one of those that we like because is not as known as others then we will not go same dressed as other people. It’s called Apparentia and the designers are two young girls who put all their love and effort in all their designs.

This particular dress is completely my kind of dress: floral print, with wide straps and V neck at the back. I love the detail of uneven ruffles at the waist to “camouflage” women most problematic area, hehe. Besides the length above the knee is perfect so we can wear it for both, to a more special wedding or event or to go to work, everything depends on the accessories that we use with it.

I’ve today combined it with a black clutch with colored rhinestones that I found in my closet and I think it was the best option. As shoes I’m wearing my heels in navy blue as the blue matches perfectly with the tones of the dress. I do not wear jewelry or other accessories to give all the attention to the dress and because you know I’m not use to wear jewelry… Remember: less is more, always.

And I’m going to Marbella right now with my family and friends but I’ll be back on Sunday night to continue being with you all on Monday from Non Stop People channel with many fashion news and new music covers, so stay tuned!

Marta’s Day!

Buenos días y… ¡FELICIDADES A TODAS LAS MARTAS DEL MUNDO! A todas mis tocayas, ¡hoy es nuestro día!

Y para celebrarlo os trago uno de los vestido que más me gusta para este verano porque lo tiene todo: un modelo fresco que no da calor ya que va atado al cuello con un lazo y lleva la espalda al aire; colores veraniegos y llamativos para estos meses del año; al tener un aire tan juvenil con el diseño plisado nos lo podemos poner tanto para una ocasión más arreglada como para el día a día con un zapato plano; y por último ¡es muy fácil de combinar! al llevar tantos colores podemos combinarlo fácilmente casi con cualquier zapato o bolso. Concretamente yo llevo mis nuevas sandalias color maquillaje que me encantan por los cordones y un clutch ideal imitando a una piña.

¿Qué os parece esta propuesta para celebrar mi día de Santo?

Y ya estoy de vuelta por Madrid, los que me seguís por las redes sociales habréis sido víctimas de mi insomnio hahaha y a darle duro estos 3 días antes de volver a irme de viaje el Viernes.

Good morning my friends and… CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE MARTHA’S AROUND THE WORLD! To all my namesake, today is our day!

And to celebrate it I bring you today one of my fav dresses that I like so much for this summer because it has everything: a cool and fresh pattern that does not heat because the lace tied around the neck and backless; it has so summer colors for these months; it also has a youthful touch with the pleated design so that we can wear it for both for a special date or for our day a day with a flat shoe; and finally it is very easy to match! with all these colors you can easily combine it with almost any shoe or clutch. Specifically I am wearing it with my new sandals that I completely like for this new season in makeup color with laces to the ankle and a small funny clutch pineapple kinda.

What do you think about this proposal to celebrate my day?

And now I’m back in Madrid, those who follow me through my social networks will have been victims of my insomnia last night hehe but let’s work hard these three days before leaving Madrid once again on Friday.

From Paris with love

Desde París, con amor…

Yo soy de las que dejo lo mejor para el final. Depende mucho de cómo sea cada persona pero a mi me gusta siempre disfrutar de lo bueno lo último, así tengo mayor satisfacción hehe.

En el post de hoy os enseño mi look favorito de los días que he estado en París y además también os enseño los lugares con más encanto: la preciosa Catedral de Notre Dame, el Museo del Louvre, el puente Des Arts con todos los candados de amor atados (que se cayó del peso y por eso ahora sólo dejan atarlos a los lados, en los laterales), y las bonitas calles parisinas…

Yo ya estoy en Mallorca disfrutando de nuevo de unos días de relax. La verdad es que cuando te vas dividiendo las vacaciones así de finde en finde (findes largos haha), las disfrutas mucho más que todas seguidas, al menos es lo que me pasa a mi. Un poco de trabajo y un poco de relax…

From Paris with Love…

I am of those who always leave the best for the last. It depends on how each person is but I like to always enjoy the ultimate good things at the end and have greater satisfaction hehe.

On today’s post I show you my favorite look of the days I’ve spent in Paris and in addition to this I also show you the most charming places at the city: the beautiful Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Louvre, Des Arts bridge with all those love locks tied (actually this bridge fell down for the weight and now you can only leave the locks tied at the sides, they use #lovewithoutlocks), and the beautiful Parisian streets…

I’m already back in Mallorca, one of my fav islands in Spain, enjoying a few days of relax and good time with my friends. The truth is that when you go on vacation from weekend to weekend (long weekends haha), I think that you enjoy more the holidays, at least that’s what happens to me. A little work and a little relax… perfect mix!

Paris: la Tour Eiffel

¿Quién ha ido de visita a París, la ciudad del amor, y no ha pasado por la Torre Eiffel? Yo creo que muy poca gente…

Yo siempre que vuelvo a esta ciudad necesito pasar aunque sea unos minutos a disfrutar de la arquitectura de este fabuloso monumento. Aunque ya lo conozco y he subido varias veces hasta arriba, siempre que vuelvo me acaba sorprendiendo igual, ¡me encanta la Torre Eiffel!

Se puede ver desde prácticamente cada rincón de la ciudad y por las noches la iluminan con mil luces parpadeando, es realmente un escenario precioso a cualquier hora del día.

Lo que más me gusta es hacerme selfies con el móvil en el suelo debajo de la Torre, haha, por eso os he dejado al final algunos de los que hice.

Y os presento oficialmente a mi amigo Mickael, parisino y fotógrafo, a quien me encanta ver cada vez que visito la ciudad y que me hace fotos tan chulas como las de hoy y las que veréis en los posts de mañana y del Viernes.

Para visitar uno de mis monumentos favoritos escogí un look más arreglado pero cómodo con jeans blancos, una camisa vaquera y mis sandalias doradas abiertas.

Who has ever gone to visit Paris, the city of love, and did not pass by the Eiffel Tower? I think that very few people…

Everytime that I return to this city I need to spend even a few minutes enjoying the architecture of this great monument. Although I already knowit and I have gone until the top many times whenever I’m back in Paris I like just to stroll around to see its magnificent, I do love the Eiffel Tower!

It can be seen from almost every corner of the city and at night they illuminated it with a thousand small lights flashing, it’s really a beautiful scenery at any time of day.

What I like most there is to take selfies with my mobile from the ground with the tower over, haha, so I have left at the end some of those pics I made for you to see them.

And I officially introduce you my friend Mickael, Parisian and photographer, who I love to see every time I visit the city and that makes me photos as cool as today’s and you will keep on seeing on tomorrow’s post and Friday’s.

To visit one of my favorite monuments I chose a more elegant look but comfortable look with white jeans, a denim shirt and my open sandals in gold.

Paris day 2: strolling around

Día dos con un nuevo look desde París… y yo ya estoy cerrando la maleta para volver a Madrid.

La verdad es que me ha costado mucho decidir dónde hacer las fotos todos estos días porque cada calle, esquina, puerta… tiene encanto en esta ciudad, ¡todo me gusta! pero no podía irme sin tomarme alguna foto con la impresionante Catedral de Notre Dame, que podéis ver al fondo de estas imágenes.

Es increíble que un río como el Sena atraviese esta preciosa ciudad y la divida con este tipo de arquitectura de estilo vintage que a mi sabéis que me encanta y que se remonta a finales del siglo XVIII cuando Georges-Eugène, más conocido como Barón Haussmann comenzó a renovar la ciudad del amor hasta convertirla en lo que vemos hoy. De ahí que se diga que la mayoría de los edificios son de estilo “haussmanniano”.

Y gracias a mis amigos que trabajan en la flagship store de Ralph Lauren de París pude hacerme algunas fotos dentro de este antiguo palacete. ¿Os imagináis entrar a comprar en una tienda como esta? Además tiene un patio central como veis con un restaurante muy exclusivo donde ponen las mejores hamburguesas que he probado, son un poco caras si, pero merece la pena ya que la carne viene directamente desde el rancho que él mismo tiene en Estados Unidos.

Y para terminar hablemos de mi estilismo de hoy. Para sobrevivir a otro caluroso día en París escogí esta vez un look muy casual con una camiseta con mensaje en rosa, shorts vaqueros y zapatillas.

Day two with a new look from Paris… and I’m finishing packing my suitcase to fly back to Madrid.

The truth is that it has been so hard to decide where to take the photos all these days because every street, corner, door, building … has charm in this city, I like everything! but I could not leave Paris without taking some photos with the impressive Cathedral of Notre Dame, which you can see at the background of these images.

It’s amazing that a river like the Seine passes through this beautiful city and divide it in two parts with this architecture, vintage style, that you know I love and dating back to the late XVIII century when Georges-Eugène, better known as Baron Haussmann began to renew the city of love to turn it into what we can see today. Because of this it is said that most of the buildings are “haussmannian” style.

And thanks to my friends who work in the Ralph Lauren flagship store here in Paris I could take some pics inside this ancient palace. Can you imagine going shopping in a store like this? It also has a central courtyard as you can see with a very exclusive restaurant where they offer you the best burgers I’ve ever tried, they are a little bit expensive yes, but they worth it because the meat comes directly from the ranch that he has in the United States.

And finally let’s talk about today’s styling. To survive another hot day in Paris this time I chose a casual look with a pink shirt with message, denim shorts and white sneakers.

Fav denim midi skirt

Que me encantan las faldas midi y que me encantaría haber vivido en los años ’50 y ’60 por las tendencias de aquella época es algo que todos sabéis… pero muchas veces me cuesta encontrar las que me sientan bien y como yo quiero, seguro que a todos os pasa.

Esta falda vaquera que ya me visteis en ESTE POST es sin duda mi favorita del verano. El diseño y corte de tubo y los rotos la convierten en un must siempre en mi maleta de viaje. Hoy la he combinado con un crop top de rayas semitransparente, buena elección para luchar contra el calor de estos días, ¿no? Como calzado escogí mis sandalias de tacón ancho de madera que son súper cómodas y además el ante está en plena tendencia. ¿Accesorios? Pocos y sencillos, como siempre: un bolso blanco, unas maxi gafas de sol y mi reloj favorito de piel y esfera XL.

Anoche como algunos veríais en mis redes sociales fui a cenar a Jose Luis, una de las cadenas más míticas de nuestra ciudad, y aparte de la deliciosa cena que visteis tengo una sorpresa para vosotros de cara a Septiembre y además es algo que va mucho con mi estilo de vida… ¡ya os contaré más detalles!

¡Feliz Miércoles! (para mí es como Viernes porque mañana me voy a París… ¡yuhuu!).

I love the midi skirts and I would love to have lived in the 50s and 60s by the trends of that time and the way they dressed, is something that you all know about me… but often it is hard to me to find some of these trends that suits me well, I suppose that maybe sometimes it happens the same to you.

This denim skirt that you already saw in THIS POST is definitely my favorite for this Summer. The design like tube/pencil style and the ripped cloth make it always a must for me in my suitcase when traveling. Today I have combined it with a semitransparent striped crop top in white, a good choice to fight the heat of these days, don’t you think so? As shoes I chose my sandals wide wooden heel that are super comfortable and also the suede is very trendy this season. ¿Accessories? Few and simple as I like them: a white bag, a maxi sunnies and my favorite leather watch with XL dial.

Last night as some of you saw on my social networks I went to dinner to Jose Luis, one of the most legendary restaurant chains in our city, and apart from the delicious dinner you saw I also have a surprise for you in September and it is something that goes closely linked to my lifestyle… I’ll tell you more details whenever I can!
