La Habana, Cuba (part I)

¡Buenos días! (aunque para Europa mejor ¡buenas tardes!).

Como sigo unos días más en Bahamas siento el horario de estar publicando por la tarde en horario europeo, en una semana que vuelvo ya a Madrid volverá a ser por la mañana según el horario español.

Bueno, y por fin está aquí el primer post del viaje que he realizado a Cuba y que os iré contando estos días detalladamente.

Éramos 5 amigas de las cuales ninguna habíamos visitado este país antes. Teníamos ganas porque nos gusta conocer nuevas culturas y sobre todo ver cómo se vive en un país como Cuba, qué opinan sus ciudadanos. He de decir en primer lugar que nos han tratado fenomenal, mucho mejor que en cualquier otro país del estilo y esto es algo que no nos esperábamos. No tuvimos sensación de peligro en ningún momento porque allí los turistas son muy importantes. Si ocurre algo con algún turista ellos pueden ir a la cárcel durante años, por lo tanto tienen mucho cuidado y son muy amables en todo momento y en todos los lugares.

La moneda de allí son pesos cubanos que tienen su conversión en cuc. A los cubanos se les paga en pesos cubanos, pero los turistas suelen pagar y cambiar otras monedas a cuc. Para que os hagáis una idea el cambio está a 24-25 pesos cubanos (dependiendo del día) por un sólo cuc. Por ejemplo los taxistas ganan de media 10cuc al mes y además tienen que pagar una tasa diaria de 50cuc al estado. Si no llegan a ese importe por día lo tienen que poner de su bolsillo. Tengo que decir que este sistema no es del todo de mi agrado. Aunque el estado pone casas a determinadas personas y da una carta de racionamiento mensual con eso no tienen para vivir y alimentarse dignamente. Otra cosa que me llamó la atención es que la gente puede ir a la universidad gratuitamente pero después tiene que realizar 2 años de trabajos sociales para el Estado. Muchos de ellos son titulados pero no pueden ejercer su trabajo porque no les da para sobrevivir.

Estas fotos las hicimos el primer día en La Habana cuando salimos a pasear por las calles 23 y 25 hasta El Malecón (el mar). Las calles se llaman con nombres y números. Como podéis ver la mayor parte de los edificios están derruidos o bastante deteriorados. Aún así se pueden apreciar los colores llamativos, los rasgos coloniales, etc. Es habitual encontrarse a cubanos vendiendo productos típicos con carritos o simplemente con bolsas. Al final como veis en las fotos estaban de carnaval y nos unimos a sus bailes.

Para esta tarde de paseo escogí algo cómodo y veraniego: un crop top vaquero, unos shorts blancos y unas sandalias planas. Imprescindible llevar siempre gafas de sol y botella de agua. Hace muchísimo calor, una media de 40 grados a lo largo de todo el día.

Good morning! (although for Europe I’d better say good afternoon!).

As I’ll be still a few days in the Bahamas I feel the inconvenience to publish in the European afternoon time; in a week I’ll be back to Madrid and I will again publish in the morning according to the Spanish schedule.

Well, finally here is the first post of the trip I made to Cuba and I’ll tell you in detail in the next coming posts.

We were 5 friends none of which had visited the country before. We chose it because we liked to know new cultures and especially to see how people live in a country like Cuba, what their citizens think. I have to say first of all that they have treated us great, much better than in any other countries of the same style and this is something we did not expect. We had no feeling of danger at any time because tourists are very important fort them. If something happens to a tourist they can go to prison for years, therefore they are very careful and very friendly at all times and in all places.

The coin they use is Cuban pesos which has conversion to CUC. Cubans are paid in pesos, but tourists usually pay and change money from other currencies to CUC. To give you an idea the change is 24-25 Cuban pesos (depending on the day) for one CUC. For example taxi drivers earn on average 10cuc per month and they have to pay a daily rate 50cuc to the state. If you do not reach that amount per day you have to pay it from your own pocket. I have to say that I don’t like and understand too much his system. Although the state give houses to certain people and gives a monthly ration card of food, with that they do not have to feed and live in dignity. Another thing that struck me is that people can go to college for free but then they have to work 2 years in social works for the state. Some of them are graduated but they can not work in what they have studied because it doesn’t give them enough money to survive.

These photos were made the first day in La Habana when we went out walking the streets 23 and 25 to the Malecón (the sea). The streets are named with names and numbers. As you can see most of the buildings are demolished or fairly damaged. Still you can appreciate the bright colors, the colonial features, etc. It is common to find Cubans with carts or simply bags selling typical products from there. In the end as you can see in the pics were carnival time so we joined their dances.

To walk this afternoon I chose something comfortable and summery: denim crop top, white shorts and flat sandals. Always is essential to wear sunglasses and water bottle. It’s a very warm country, an average of 40 degrees throughout the day.

Night out in Nassau, Bahamas

¡Hola a todos!

Por fin estoy de vuelta de Cuba. Ha sido un viaje precioso que os iré contando a lo largo de los próximos días. La gente es encantadora y los lugares que hemos visitado me han dejado alucinada. Lo único malo es que no tienen wifi en ningún lado, ¡6 días sin conexión! Pero creo que lo he superado con creces he he.

Hoy os dejo unos de los outfits que escogí para salir una noche por Nassau (donde estoy todavía hasta finales de la semana que viene). Opté por el blanco que me encanta para verano. Este vestido de plumeti ya me lo habéis visto en otras ocasiones. Las sandalias de cordones de serpientes me gustan tanto que aunque no son el mejor calzado para esta zona como íbamos en coche no tuve que andar demasiado. Como complementos escogí un bolso pequeño dorado y un cinturón a juego.

Aquí en Nassau las casas son espectaculares. Todas son de estilo colonial con mil colores y con embarcadero para los barcos. Por eso tomé las fotos en el embarcadero de la casa para que podáis ver cómo es el canal que da al mar. Se ven algunos barcos aparcados en cada casa. Os iré enseñando más fotos de esta ciudad también en los próximos posts.

Hello everyone!

I’m finally back from Cuba. It was a lovely trip that I’ll be telling you on the blog the next few days. Lovely people and places we have visited, it’s an amazing country and culture. The only bad thing is that they haven’t wifi anywhere, six days offline! But I think I’ve do it well he he.

Today I show you the outfit I chose for a night out in Nassau (where I’m right now until next week). I opted for the white color that I really love for summer time. This plummet dress that you have already seen me in other occasions. My snake lace sandals which are not the best footwear for this city but as we were going by car I didn’t have to walk too far. As complements I chose a small golden bag and a matching belt.

Here in Nassau houses are spectacular. All are colonial style with many colors and pier for boats. So I took the pictures on the pier of the house so you can see how the canal overlooking the sea. Some boats are parked in each house as you can see in the pics. I’ll show you more pics also these coming days.

Aunque ahora mismo os estoy escribiendo desde Bahamas, donde por cierto son las 8am pero el jet lag estará haciendo de las suyas durante todo el día, el post de hoy que todavía no os había podido enseñar porque he viajado más de 24h corresponde a mi último día en Marbella.

Ya es por todos conocida mi pasión por los boyfriend jeans y me encanta tener varios en modelos y colores diferentes. Estos son quizá los más veraniegos por el color claro del denim y además los rotos no son tan exagerados como en otros que tengo del mismo estilo. Son de cuello alto como me gustan a mí porque me parece que sientan mejor por la parte de atrás. Llevo un crop top de canalé negro que sabéis que ha sido otras de las prendas must de las últimas temporadas. Como el look es muy casual pero a la vez arreglado por los toques dorados, esta vez quise ponerme mi brazalete XL en la parte de arriba del brazo. Opté de nuevo por mi clutch de colores de rafia y mis sandalias mules que ya sabéis que son de mis zapatos favoritos para este verano.

Although now I’m writing you from Nassau, Bahamas, where indeed is 8am in the morning, jet lag is driving me crazy today. I wasn’t able still now to publish today’s post because I have traveled more than 24 hours to arrive here. So this post is from my last day in Marbella.

It is known my passion for boyfriend jeans and I love to have them in many different models and colors. These are perhaps the most summery for the light color denim and because the ripped jean is not as much broken as the others that I have of the same style. They are high-waisted as I like them because I think they suit so cool at the back. I’m wear ing a crop top in black ribbed which has been other must have cloth for the last seasons. As the look is very casual I opted for combine it golden details. This time I wanted to wear my XL bracelet in the top of the arm. I chose again my colorful raffia clutch and my black mules which you know that are one of my favorite shoes for this summer.

College lady

Muchas veces no disfrutamos con nuestros trabajos, con lo que hacemos, porque casi no tenemos tiempo para ello. Las fotos de hoy son de las que más me gustan desde hace tiempo porque aparte de que el look me parece muy veraniego y con colores muy de mi estilo para verano (blanco y pastel) la verdad es que me lo pasé bien haciendo este shooting como podéis ver en la mayoría de las fotos. Estoy muy contenta con todos los posts en general pero este me gusta especialmente y espero que a vosotros también. ¡Me encanta mi trabajo en el blog!

Como en las ciudades de la costa por las tardes empieza a refrescar un poco en esta ocasión opté por ponerme una sudadera de neopreno (ya os hablé de esta nueva tendencia hace poco en ESTE POST). Me encanta el color rosa pastel o rosa bebé; y si es con mensaje aún más. Como ya tengo bastante color escogí unos shorts blancos para resaltar mi moreno. Ya que la sudadera es de estilo deportivo pero al ser de color rosa es muy lady me puse mis sneakers plateadas para dar efectivamente ese toque moderno y casual al outfit. Me gusta el verano también porque muchas veces salgo simplemente con el móvil y algo de dinero y me puedo liberar de maxi bolsos como los que uso a diario en mis días de trabajo. Como complementos sólo opté por mi reloj blanco con esfera de colores en tonos pastel que me encanta, ¿y a vosotros?

Me voy a terminar la maleta que viajo ya en unas horas…

Many times we don’t enjoy our work, what we do, because we have no time for it. These pictures are one of my favs because apart that I think that the look is so chic according to this season and with pretty colors that I usually wear (white and pastel) the truth is that I had a funny time doing this shooting as you can see in almost all the photos. I’m very happy with all the posts in general, but I especially like this and hope you do too, I really like my work here on the blog!

In the cities of the coast of Spain in the afternoon starts to cool down so this time I chose to wear a neoprene sweatshirt (I already talked to you about this new trend recently in THIS POST). I love pastel pink or baby pink; and if it comes with a message even better. As I’m already tanned I chose a pair of white shorts to highlight my tanned legs hehe. As the sweatshirt is sporty but being pink is very lady I chose my silver sneakers to actually give that modern and casual touch to the outfit. I also like summer because sometimes I go just with the phone and some money and I can leave at home all the maxi bags that I use to bring every day in my working days. As complements I only opted for my white watch with pastel colors that I definitely love, don’t you?

Now I’m going to finish my luggage because I’m traveling in a few hours…

¡Buenos días amigos! ¿Cómo van vuestras vacaciones? Espero que ya todos disfrutando del sol y de días de relax.

Lunes y yo me despierto en Madrid… he venido un par de días antes de mi viaje a América para terminar cosas de trabajo y hace un calor bastante serio, ¡quiero volver a la playa!

Este es uno de los looks que me puse una de las tardes en Marbella para ir de shopping y que me dio tiempo de fotografiar. También habréis visto en mis redes sociales que me lo puse en Tarifa con una camisa encima y unas mules para salir por la noche.

En verano una de las cosas que más me gusta ponerme es pantalones cortos. Me parece que los shorts sientan bien a casi cualquier cuerpo y además dejan ver nuestras piernas bronceadas. Según las curvas que tengamos ponemos ponernos un crop top encima o un top un poco más largo como este blanco con ondas que llevo yo hoy. Ya sabéis que el mix de blanco y negro es mi favorito, un día más recurro a él y opté por estas sandalias planas de cordones en estos colores. Para romper la línea del b&w quise dar un toque de color con este clutch de playa que utilizo indistintamente a cualquier hora del día. Como complementos simplemente me puse dos relojes-pulsera con cristales de Swarovski y unas gafas negras de sol.

¿Os gusta esta idea para una tarde de compras o de paseo?

Morning my friends! How is going your summer? Hope you are enjoying the sun and relaxing these days.

Monday and I wake up in Madrid… I’m here for a couple of days before my trip to America to finish some work and have some meetings but today is a pretty serious heat day, I want to go to the beach!

This is one of the outfits I wore for a shopping afternoon in Marbella and that I had time to take pics of. Also you would have seen in my social networks that I wore it in Tarifa with a blue shirt over and mules for a night out.

In summer time one of the things that I like most is to wear shorts. I think that shorts suit well in almost any body and also show our tanned legs. According to the body that we have we can put on a crop top over or a little longer one as this white top with waves that I’m wearing. You know that the mix of black and white is my favorite, this is another day that I choose it and I opted for these flat sandals with laces in these colors. To break the line of b&w I wanted to give a touch of color to the outfit and I did it with this beach clutch that I use every day at any time. As complements I just wore two bracelet-watches with Swarovski crystals and my black sunglasses.

¡Buenos días!

Por fin eh conseguido conexión para seguir contandoos mi veranito. La verdad es que la semana que he pasado en Tarifa con mis amigas ha sido muy divertida porque éramos 9 chicas y claro hemos hecho lo propio: mucho sol y playas de la zona, bares y terracitas de media tarde, cenas en restaurantes típicos y buenísimos y cómo no algo de fiesta por las calles de bares y discotecas. Si queréis alguna recomendación por si pasáis por ahí como restaurantes os recomiendo El Picoteo, Lola, Milli o El Pasillo. Os encantará la comida tan elaborada y hay platos de todo tipo. Como bares nosotras solemos ir mucho a La Onda, y La Tetería que es donde conocemos a más gente aunque la verdad es que toda la calle está muy bien. Sobre las 2, 2:30 de la noche se suele ir un rato a La Ruina antes de llegar ya a una de las discotecas. Mi disco preferida por el tipo de música es Mombassa pero Café del Mar no está mal aunque si un poco lejos del centro, pero tienen autobuses que te llevan gratis. Para pasar la tarde después de la playa los lounge de Arte y Vida, El Tumbao y Tangana son los más multitudinarios y divertidos.

Ahora mismo estoy pasando unos días en Marbella con mi familia y también con amigos de aquí pero me vuelvo a Madrid en dos días para mi siguiente viaje a América… ¡Ese también me apetece mucho!

Y pasamos por fin a analizar el look de hoy. El neopreno es una tendencia que definitivamente ha llegado para quedarse. Ha salido de los mares de los trajes de los buceadores y surferos y ya todos los diseñadores tanto de firmas top como de firmas low cost lo han introducido en sus diseños. Es un tejido muy fácil de trabajar ya que proporción mucho volumen en todas las prendas. A mi personalmente me parece increíble que cuando prácticamente está ya todo inventado en el mundo de la moda siempre consiguen traer algo nuevo y rompedor que además se convierte en un must have. Es cierto también que pienso que son prendas más para primavera u otoño porque en verano pueden dar bastante calor pero en este caso llevo un top de manga corta con estampado selvático de colores llamativos y es bastante ponible en esta época del año. Lo combiné con unos pantalones tipo chandal en verde oscuro para no quitarle el protagonismo a la camiseta y con mis mules que ahora en verano se convierten en un calzado básico para mi día a día. Como complementos escogí un bolso estilo hippie de colores y cristales bordados y un anillo de labios rojos con un pequeño brazalete dorado con la palabra ‘love‘.

Morning my friends!

Finally I have wifi connection to keep telling you how is going my summer. The truth is that the week I’ve spent in Tarifa with my friends has been very funny because we were 9 girls and we have clearly done what all women like: lots of sun and going to different beaches in the area, lounges and terraces for mid-afternoon, dinners in typical restaurants with very good food and party in the streets of bars and nightclubs, amazing! Just in case you come over there I recommend you to eat The Picoteo, Lola, Milli and El Pasillo. You will love the food and there are so elaborate dishes for all kinds. We usually go to La Onda bar or La Tetería because is where we known more people but the truth is that the whole street of bars is so fine. Around 2, 2:30 in the night people use to go to La Ruina before arriving as one of the nightclubs. My favorite disco because of the music is Mombassa but Café del Mart is not bad at all although a bit far from downtown, but they have buses that take you there for free. To spend the afternoon after the beach the lounge of Arte y Vida, , El Tumbao and Tangana are the most crowded and funny places.

Right now I’m spending a few days in Marbella with my family and other friends from here but I come back to Madrid in two days for my next trip to America… I’m excited for that too!

And let’s analyze today’s look. Neoprene is a trend that is definitely here to stay. It has come out of the sea from the suits of divers and surfers and all the designers of top and low cost firms have introduce it in their new collections. It is a very easy fabric to work because it gives so much volume in all the clothes. I personally find it amazing that when everything seems to be already discovered in the fashion world always appear something new and groundbreaking that becomes a must have. It is also true that these kind of clothes are better for spring or fall because in summer time it can gives you enough heat but in this case I’m wearing a short sleeve top with jungle print in bright colors and is quite good to wear at this time of the year. I combined it with a tracksuit style pants in khaki green to not keep highlighting the tee and my mules that in summer time become a staple shoe for my day a day. As complements I chose a colorful hippie bag with crystals and embroidery and a red lips ring with a small gold bracelet with the word ‘love’.

Again and again

¡Buenos días! ¿Cómo va vuestra semana? La mía genial disfrutando mucho de mis vacaciones. Estos días estoy por Tarifa con mis amigas que me parece el mejor plan posible aunque dentro de poco tengo otros viajes que os iré contando…

La verdad es que para ser Tarifa está haciendo muy buen tiempo porque generalmente hacen bastante viento y por eso es una de las zonas del sur de España donde se practican más deportes acuáticos. La playa de Valdevaqueros y “El Tumbao” o “Tangana” son los chiringuitos de playa más conocidos pero también hay playas que merece la pena visitar como Punta Paloma o la playa de los Alemanes.

Bueno, analizando ya mi look de hoy he tenido que volver a recurrir a mi combinación de colores por excelencia: el blanco y negro. Este vestido que visteis que me puse la semana pasada para mi último día de trabajo en la ciudad es uno de mis favoritos. Es de una firma de diseñadores emergentes de Londres que siempre como en Top Shop de Oxford Circus en Londres. Me encantó nada más verlo porque es blanco con detalles de encaje negro en los hombros pero no se transparenta así que se puede llevar tanto para el día como para salir por las noches. Como calzado para caminar todo el día escogí mis bailarinas color block también en blanco y negro y un maxi bolso negro. Como accesorios mis brazaletes de plata con motivo infinito.

Good Morning! How’s going your week? Mine is going perfect! I’m enjoying a lot my holidays. These days I’m in a super funny trip with my friends in Tarifa, in the South os Spain. I think that is the best plan to start the holidays but I’ll be traveling to other countries soon so stay tuned…

The truth is that we are having a perfect weather for being in Tarifa because it usually does quite windy and that is one of the areas of southern Spain where most water sports are practiced. Valdevaquero’s beach and “Tumbao” or “Tangana” are the best known beach bars but there are also beaches that are worth visiting: Punta Paloma beach or the Germans beach.

Well, analyzing my look today and I had to come back again to my fav match of colors: black and white. This dress you saw me last week that I was wearing for my last day of work in the city is one of my favorites. It’s from a sign of emerging London designers that I always like and go to visit in Top Shop of Oxford Circus in London. I loved it because it is white with black lace detail on the shoulders but you can wear for both day and to go out at night because it doesn’t have transparencies As flats for walking all day I chose my color block flats also in white and a black maxi bag. As accessories my silver bracelets with my infinite design.

Be classy

Yo soy de las que opina que por mucho que una persona intente camuflar su estilo es muy difícil llegar a ser ecléctico y que te queden bien todas las tendencias y sobre todo que sepas llevarlas con clase. Reconozco que mi estilo es más bien clásico y ya sabéis que no sigo todas las tendencias a ciegas sino que siempre intento adaptar éstas mismas a mi propia manera de entender y de llevar la moda.

Por este motivo me despido hoy viernes (mañana tendréis el videoshopping de la semana con una de las prendas must de la temporada) con otro look muy clásico pero con toques modernos que lo hacen más juvenil. Llevo unos pantalones de ondas que compré en una de mis últimas visitas a Londres. La verdad es que me lo estoy poniendo mucho menos de lo que me gustaría pero creo que voy a sacarle verdadero partido a partir de septiembre… Lo combiné con una camisa vaquera sin mangas atada en la cintura estilo crop top que claramente era el toque más casual del outfit. Para seguir con la tendencia de los tonos pastel opté por mis gafas rosas con cristal de espejo y mis brazaletes infinito en plata a juego con los blucher laminados. ¡Qué ganas tenía de volver a ponérmelos! Tienen ya más de un año pero he visto que han vuelto a traer nuevas versiones de ellos y son tan originales en plata, ¡a mi me encantan! ¿y a vosotros?

El último toque moderno vino con este clutch de mano transparente que me permitió llevar mis imprescindibles y sin esconder nada. Cartera, llaves, barra de labios, móvil…

Y como hoy por fin es día 1 ya sí que sí comienzan oficialmente mis (yo creo que merecidas) ¡vacaciones! Os iré escribiendo cuando pueda desde los destinos que voy a recorrer pero recordad que podéis seguirme a diario desde mis redes sociales @itgirlmarta.

I’m one on those who believes that no matter how a person tries to camouflage his style, it’s very difficult to become eclectic and even more to can wear everything fitting well on you. I recognize that my style is rather classic and you know I don’t use to follow all the trends. I definitely always try to adapt them to my own way of understanding and lead the fashion.

For this reason I show you today, Friday (tomorrow morning you will have the new videoshopping of the week with one of the must clothes for this season), another very classic look but with modern touches that made me look more youthful. I was wearing a pair of waves pants in soft pink I bought in one of my last visits to London. The truth is that I’m not wearing them as much as I’d like but I definitely think that I’ll wear them a lot after summer from September… I combined them with a denim shirt without sleeves tied at the waist crop top style that clearly was the most casual touch of the outfit. To continue the trend of pastel colors I opted for my pink sunglasses with glass mirror and my infinite silver bracelets matching my silver blucher. I really loved to wear them again! They already have more than a year but I’ve seen new models of them at the stores, they are so original and I like the silver print, I love them! Don’t you?

The last modern thing came with this transparent clutch which allowed me to carry on with me all my essentials without hiding anything. Wallet, keys, lipstick, mobile…

And finally today is August 1st, and yes officially today begins my (I think deserved) holidays! I’ll write you whenever I can from every city that I will visit but remember that you can also follow me daily on my social networks @itgirlmarta.

Preppy It Girl

‘It Girl’ o traducido al español, “chica de moda”. Ese es el nombre que escogí para mi blog porque lo vi muy comercial aparte de que en ese momento no se hablaba de otra cosa en los medios de comunicación. Por eso cuando encontré esta camiseta el año pasado tuve que comprármela porque no podía encajar mejor con mi nombre.

Que los boyfriend jeans han arrasado esta temporada es un hecho que todos hemos visto, pero es cierto que a veces no sientan del todo bien. A mi por lo menos me costó dar con unos que me quedasen bien de cintura aunque luego fuesen rectos hacia abajo. También me pasa que cuando me los pongo con zapato plano me veo más bajita porque son anchos de pierna por eso intento siempre combinarlos con una sandalia o cuña que me hagan más alta.

La semana pasada en el desfile de moda masculina de Mirto para la temporada Primavera/Verano 2015 que podéis ver AQUÍ nos repartieron unos coloridos pañuelos. Yo escogí uno blanco con flores en tonos azules porque pensé que sería muy fácil de combinar con vaqueros, shorts, y en general con ropa blanca sobre todo ahora en verano. Esta es la opción que se me ha ocurrido para ponérmelo con el look de hoy. Lo he utilizado con banda para el pelo y me he hecho un pequeño lazo delante consiguiendo un estilo muy preppy, ¿no creéis?

Por último y como os he comentado antes escogí unas cómodas cuñas que estilizasen más mi figura. Como complementos un bolso color block en blanco y negro a juego con la camiseta, mis gafas de sol negras y un maxi reloj en blanco.

‘It Girl’ or translated into Spanish, “chica de moda”. That’s the name I chose for my blog because I saw it very commercial and all the media where talking about the new it girl fashion icons. So when I found this t-shirt last year I had to bought it because it couldn’t fit better with my blog name.

Boyfriend jeans has rock it this season, is a fact, but it is also true that sometimes they do not feel quite well. To me at least I had a hard time to chose one of them because I wanted some that fit me right on the waist knowing that they are straight down then. It also happens to me that when I wear flat shoes with these kind of jeans I look even shorter so I always try to combine them with a wedge sandal to make me taller.

Last week at the Mirto menswear fashion show for Spring/Summer 2015 season that you can see HERE they bring us a colorful handkerchiefs. I chose a white one with blue flowers because I thought it would be very easy to match with jeans, shorts, and generally white clothes especially now in summer. This is the option that I chose to wear it for the first time with today’s look. I’ve used it as a hair band and I have made a small tie on top. It gives a very preppy style, don’t you think so?

Finally, as I have said before I chose a comfy wedges to stylize my body. As complementos I opted for this color block bag in black and white matching the t-shirt, my black leather sunglasses and a white maxi watch.

Lady at the city

No podía pasar una semana sin que os enseñase un look de estilo lady de los que a mi me gustan… En verano las faldas blancas son un must y además nos sirven para cualquier ocasión, tanto para el día o ir a trabajar como para salir por la noche con un zapato de tacón. Yo esta vez he optado por combinar en blanco con un top en color maquillaje con detalles de encaje en el borde a juego con la falda. Mis bailarinas favoritas, las color block en negro y beige fueron el calzado que escogí para recorrerme las calles de Madrid. Un maxi bolso siguiendo los tonos de la ropa y como accesorios un reloj tipo vintage en marrón oscuro, un par de anillos finos en dorado hoy y unos colgantes de piñas en oro y plata que claramente dieron un toque muy veraniego al estilismo (ya sabéis que las piñas están muy de moda esta temporada, os recuerdo por ejemplo ESTE post con camiseta con estampado de esta rica fruta).

Vamos a por el miércoles que ya estamos a mitad de semana…

I couldn’t spend a week without showing you some lady look like this one hehe… I like the white in summer and we all know that skirts are a must for these season because we can wear them in any occasion, for the day or to go to work or for a night out with a high heel shoe. To combine it I have chosen this time a make up color top with lace details in the edge to match the skirt. My favorite flats, the color block black and beige were the shoes I chose to stroll around Madrid’s streets. A maxi bag according with the colors of the rest of the clothes and as accessories I was wearing a vintage watch in dark brown leather, a pair of thin rings in gold today and two pineapple necklace in gold and silver that clearly got the summery styling touch (you know that pineapples are very fashionable this season, I remember you for example THIS post where I was wearing a shirt with this rich fruit printed).

Let’s go with the Wednesday, we are already in the middle of the week…
