Últimas horas en la ciudad de los ángeles antes de volver a casa aunque sólo vaya a ser por un par de días…

Reconozco que tengo sentimientos encontrados. Por una parte tengo muchas ganas de ver a mi familia, a mis amigos, necesito abrazos, besos, necesito escuchar “te quieros reales”, disfrutar de amor del bueno, de dormir en mi camita y de estar en mi casita, disfrutar paseando por mi ciudad… y, cómo no, ¡de un buen cocido y tortilla de patatas! hahaha. Pero por otra parte también es cierto que no me apetece irme del todo. Siempre que me voy de LA me pasa lo mismo. Me encanta mi vida aquí, mis amigos, todos los planes que hago, mi trabajo aquí, esto es un sueño para mí, un sueño por el que llevo luchando mucho y muy duro durante los últimos años… Pero lo bueno es que donde algunos ven un problema en vivir así o vida desordenada yo veo la gran ventaja de poder vivir entre dos ciudades que me encantan rodeada en ambas de personas que no puedo querer más y de dos culturas diferentes pero que me han enriquecido como persona. ¡Menuda suerte tengo! Por eso siempre me gusta ver la parte positiva de las cosas así que me quedo con todo lo bueno y lo bonito que he vivido una vez más en esta ciudad. No me echéis mucho de menos por aquí eh, ¡que vuelvo en unas semanas!

Yo mientras seguiré escribiendoos estos diarios de mi vida americana con consejos, lugares, tiendas, looks, etc. a visitar por aquí.

Hoy os quería enseñar estas fotos que hicimos en Long Beach, en el barco de mi amigo Tarek, hace un par de fines de semana. Nos lo pasamos genial haciendo barbacoa en el barco y navegando al atardecer para disfrutar de la puesta de sol y de los delfines, que se ven a esa hora.

Este es mi amigo Chema que fue de mis primeros amigos cuando llegué a LA… y chicas, ¡está soltero! aunque ya se que muchas le conocéis y me habéis preguntado por él… haha.

Y por fin acabo de conseguir cerrar todas mis maletas y me voy a dormir ya porque el primer vuelo de mañana sale pronto…

Last hours in the city of angeles before coming back home even if it is only for a couple of days…

And I do admit it that I have mixed feelings. On one hand I really want to see my family, my friends, I need hugs, kisses, I need a “real” I love you, I need true love, sleep in my bed and be in my house, enjoy walking my amazing city… and, of course, a good stew and Spanish omelette! hahaha. But on the other hand it is also true that I do not want to leave at all. Whenever I leave LA the same thing happens to me. I love my life here, my friends, all the plans that I do, my work here, my non stop days, this is a dream for me, a dream that I’ve been fighting hard to achieve during the last few years… But the good thing is that where some people see a problem in being living like this or having a disorderly life I see the great advantage of being able to live between two cities that I do love and surrounded in both of people that I can not love anymore. Also the advantage of enjoy and live two different cultures that have made me grown as a person. How lucky I am! That’s why I always like to see the positive side of things so I leave now with all the good things that have happened to me these weeks in this city. Do not miss me so much here, uh, I’ll be back in a few weeks!

I will continue to write these diaries of my American life with advice, places, shops, looks, etc. to visit around here. So stay tuned!

Today I wanted to show you these photos we took in Long Beach, at my friend Tarek’s boat, a couple of weekends ago. We had a great time doing bbq on the boat and sailing in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset and the dolphins, which are seen at that time.

This is my friend Chema who was my very first friend when I came here to LA… and girls, he’s single! although I know that many of you already know him through my Stories… haha.

So finally I have just closed all my luggage and I’m going to sleep right now because the first flight tomorrow leaves very soon in the morning…

Formentera, part II

Última semana en LA… ¡por fin! hahaha. Me voy para asistir a las semanas de la moda de NY y París, la parte más divertida de mi trabajo.

No es que haya sido una pesadilla porque ya sabéis que me encanta poder vivir aquí, se que soy una privilegiada por poder compatibilizarlo con mi vida en Madrid, pero esta vez debido a todos los acontecimientos que han pasado tengo una “morriña” mucho más fuerte que otras veces. Echo de menos a mi familia más que nunca; a mis amigos y sus risas y nuestros momentos de hacer el tonto; a todos vosotros y encontraros por la calle y hacer vídeos y fotos divertidos; ¡la comida! bendita gastronomía española… en fin, que el domingo que viene por la tarde llego a Madrid y ya me tendréis unos días por allí y por Europa dando guerra. ¡Muchas ganas!

Me apetece volver a mi rutina, a mi casa aunque en el mes de Septiembre la pisaré poco, a mis viajes y todo lo que tengo organizando para estos próximos meses que se que os va a encantar, y también estoy deseando poder comenzar nuevos proyectos que hace tiempo que quería hacer y ojalá que vayan saliendo bien poco a poco. También estoy muy contenta de poder deciros que volveré a la cadena de tele donde trabajo siempre que estoy en Madrid después de estos meses de viajes sin parar, así que tendremos una cita siempre que esté por la capital para comentar las últimas noticias de moda y redes sociales, pero os avisaré como siempre a través de mis redes sociales.

Y ufff… sólo de pensar en la semanita que me espera sacando toda mi ropa y zapatos del vestidor para organizarlo todo, hacer las maletas, empaquetar cajas… ¡me da algo! hahaha. Sin contar que seguirá siendo una semana de trabajo non stop, pero bueno esta vez lo voy a hacer con menos pena o tristeza que en otras ocasiones.

Y segundo post desde Formentera. Este es el hotel tan mono en el que nos quedamos, Hotel Bungalow Suites en la playa de los Pinos. Toda la gente del hotel y del restaurante, que por cierto os lo recomiendo 100% porque es de los mejores de la isla, nos trataron genial. Son como mini suites con jardín privado, jacuzzi, y sobre todo en una zona muy tranquila para poder desconectar del todo que es lo que creo que buscamos la mayoría en nuestras vacaciones.

Para terminar y respecto a la quedada que me estás pidiendo hacer en Madrid, decidme qué os gustaría hacer, dónde, si preferís por la mañana o por la tarde… y voy a intentar organizar algo chulo para poder conoceros a más de vosotros. ¡Me apetece muchísimo! ¿Qué os parece a vosotros la idea? 🙂

Last week in LA… finally! Hahaha. I’m leaving for one month to go to NY and Paris Fashion Weeks, the funniest part of my work.

Of course it hasn’t been a nightmare at all because you know that I love being able to live between here an Madrid here, I’m thankful for it, but this time because of all the events that have happened I have been missing home more than other times. I miss my family more than ever; my friends and their laughter and our crazy moments together; all of you, meeting you on the streets and taking funny videos and photos; the food! God bless Spanish gastronomy lol… in conclusion, next Sunday in the afternoon I will be arriving to Madrid and you will have me a few days over there and around Europe, so I can’t be happier. Can’t wait!

I would like to come back to my routine, to my home although in September I will not spend many days there, to my trips and all that I have been organizing for these coming months that I will love to show you, and I am also looking forward to starting new projects that I have wanted to do for a long time and hopefully they will come out with hard work and step by step. I am also very happy to be able to tell you that I will come back finally to the TV channel where I work whenever I am in Madrid after these months of non-stop traveling, so we will have a date whenever I am in the capital to discuss the latest fashion and social networks news, but I will let you know everything as always through my medias.

And OMG… just thinking about the week that awaits for me taking out all my clothes and shoes from the dressing room to organize everything, pack my suitcases, pack the rest in boxes… I’m gonna die! Hahaha. Not to mention that it will continue working the whole week, so non stop working too, but well this time I will do it with less pain or sadness than in other occasions.

And second post from Formentera. This is the super cute hotel where we stayed at, Bungalow Suites Hotel at Los Pinos beach. All the people in the hotel and restaurant, which by the way I recommend you 100% because it is one of the best on the island, they were super kind with us. They are like mini suites with private garden, jacuzzi, and especially in a very quiet area to be able to disconnect that is what I think we are looking for in our holidays.

To finish this post and about what you have been asking me about, the meeting in Madrid with some of you, tell me what would you like to do, where, if you prefer in the morning or in the afternoon… and I will try to organize something cool so that I can meet more of you in person. I’d love that! What do you think about the idea? 🙂

¡Buenos días familia!

¿Cómo estáis pasando las vacaciones? Espero que mejor que yo… que me he tirado todo el domingo en el hospital, haha, me río por no llorar porque además hoy tenía un planazo de playa que es lo que más me gusta hacer… Si es que como me habéis dicho más de uno, lo que sentimos y sufrimos por dentro se acaba reflejando de una forma u otra en nuestra salud, pero lo importante es que no es nada grave y que en unos días volveré a estar perfecta. ¡A por todas siempre!

Por fin os enseño las primeras fotos de los días tan divertidos que pasamos en Formentera. Fue un viaje sorpresa que nos organizó Drumwit y eso es precisamente lo que más me gustó, que hasta el último momento no supimos dónde íbamos. ¿No os parece un regalo súper original?

Y cómo no aparte de ir en barquito de cala en cala tuvimos que hacer parada obligatoria en Beso Beach para comer en este mítico restaurante donde ¡mirad a quién nos encontramos! y darnos muuuuchos besitos… hehe.

Desde luego repito una vez más que muchas veces intentamos irnos a paraísos lejanos sin darnos cuenta de que tenemos paraísos preciosos como este en España y apenas a media hora en barco de Ibiza.

Y os quiero transmitir tranquilidad desde este post. Se que estáis preocupados por mí por los mensajes y mails que he podido leer estas semanas, pero de verdad que estoy bien y que siempre todo lo que nos pasa en la vida es por algo. Es normal que al principio los cambios radicales nos afecten sobre todo los que están relacionados con el amor y nuestro “corazoncito”, pero os aseguro que lo que tiene que ser para nosotros (ya sea un trabajo, un amigo, una pareja…) será. Eso lo tengo muy claro. Sino es así es porque otra cosa mejor vendrá. Pero ya os digo que nadie se muere de amor y que nada es tan grave como nos parece inicialmente… pero las cosas con tiempo y espacio se ven siempre desde otra perspectiva y se convierten en lecciones o buenos recuerdos.

Os dejo también el vídeo que hice de resumen de estos días espectaculares para que os riáis un ratito viéndome hacer el tonto… y sí, me encanta tener ese toque de locura que según mis padres tengo desde que nací, es algo que no quiero cambiar porque es lo que creo que me hace diferente.

Good morning family!

Are you enjoying your holidays? I hope so! At least more than me that I have been all the Sunday in the hospital here in LA… besides today I had a beach party that is what I like most… I t’s like you have told me more than once, what we feel and suffer inside is reflected in one way or another in our health, but the important thing is that it is nothing serious and that in a few days I will be feeling perfect again. Remember myself: never give up!

Finally I show you the first photos of the fun days that we spent in Formentera. It was a surprise trip that Drumwit organized for us and that is precisely what I liked the most, that until the last moment we did not know where we were going. Don’t you think this is such an original gift?

And of course apart from going by boat from beach to beach we had to make a mandatory stop at Beso Beach to eat at this mythical restaurant where, look who we meet! And of course it was all about kisses all around… hehe.

I repeat once again that many times we try to find different paradises without realizing that we have beautiful paradises like this one in Spain and just half an hour by boat from Ibiza.

And now I want to talk to you, my coolest family! Stay calm. I know that you are worried about me for the messages and mails that I have been able to read these last weeks, but I am really good and you know that everything happens for a reason. It is normal that at the very beginning the radical changes in our lives affect us so hard, especially those that are related to love and our “little heart”, but I can tell you that what has to be for us (a job, a friend, a couple…) it will be in the end. This is true story. And if not it is because something better is coming. But I tell you that nobody dies of love and nothing is as serious or bad as it seems at the beginning… because things with time and space are always seen from another perspective and point of view and they become lessons or good memories.

Here I leave you also the video that I did these amazing days in Formentera so that you laugh for a while watching me acting like crazy… ’cause yes, I love being a little bit crazy and having that touch of madness that according to my parents I have since I was born, it’s something I do not want to change because it is what makes me different.

Geneva, day 3

¡Buenos días chicos!

¡Menuda semanita! Después de haberme operado de la vista, de haber tenido una inundación en casa (ya os contaré esto con más detenimiento si haha), de haber tenido mil shootings y reuniones importantes para proyectos que pronto os contaré, y después de un vuelo de 12h… por fin estoy en ¡¡¡MEXICO!!! Voy a estar en el DF desde hoy hasta el lunes, así que no tengo mucho tiempo pero si el suficiente para poder conocer esta ciudad mexicana que no conocía aún y pasar unos días de desconexión con Jona, ya que son sus únicos días libres.

Me estáis preguntando muchos si haré quedada aquí y estos días no, pero la haré a la vuelta de verano en cuanto vuelva, ¡prometido!

Y estas son las últimas fotos de mi viaje a Ginebra y creo que fue el día más divertido. Fuimos dar un paseo en barco por el lago cantando y bailando canciones de reggaeton, ¡cómo no! El momento más divertido sin duda: Geneva Boats. Paseamos por el caso antiguo y subimos a la catedral para observar el skyline de esta preciosa ciudad. Después cogimos un teleférico para subir hasta la montaña, que por cierto esa parte ya pertenece a Francia, para disfrutar de una comida al aire libre con estas espectaculares vistas: Bristol. ¡Viaje increíble!

Y antes de despedirme hasta el lunes quiero comentaros un tema muy importante a la hora de viajar. Me habéis preguntado muchas veces si alguna vez he perdido un vuelo o se ha cancelado o había overbooking… porque ya sabéis que yo vivo prácticamente en un avión. Pues os cuento que hace unos meses descubrí el servicio de Gate28. Gate28 es la primera compañía española que ofrece un servicio de reclamaciones de compensación por retraso o cancelación de nuestros vuelos en Europa. Si nuestro vuelo se retrasa con ellos podemos saber al instante si tenemos derecho a reclamar una indemnización de hasta 600€ por persona. Muchas veces perdemos los vuelos o llegamos tarde a cosas importantes por culpa de los retrasos así que lo mínimo es que nos indemnicen al menos, ¿no? Además reclamar es súper fácil y sencillo: solo hay que entrar en la web de Gate28 e introducir los datos de tu vuelo. Al instante y de forma gratuita, podrás saber si tienes derecho a reclamación y qué indemnización podrían conseguir. Espero que os sea útil porque a mi ya os digo que si.

Good morning guys!

What a crazy week! After having my eye surgery, having a real flood at home (I’ll tell you this with more details on my next video haha), have had a thousand shootings and important meetings for new projects that I will tell you soon, and after a 12 hours flight… I’m finally in MEXICO LINDO!!! I’m going to be in DF from today until Monday, so I do not have much time but enough to discover this Mexican city that I did not know yet and spend a few days of disconnection and relax with my babe Jona, because he only has these weekend off.

Many of you are asking me if I will do a M&G these days, I can’t as I’m only going to stay just 3 days, but I will do it after summer for sure, when I come back, I promise!

And these are the last pictures of my trip to Geneva and I think this was the most fun day. We went for a boat trip on the lake singing and dancing reggaeton songs, of course! The funniest moment: Geneva Boats. We walked through the old city and went up to the cathedral to observe the skyline of this beautiful city. Then we took a cable car to climb up the mountain, which by the way that part already belongs to France, to enjoy an outdoors lunch with these spectacular views: Bristol. Awesome trip!

And before I say goodbye to you until Monday I want to tell you a very important thing when I’m traveling. You have asked me many times if I have ever missed a flight or canceled or overbooked… because you know that I live practically on a plane, and of course the answer is YES. SO I want to tell you that a few months ago I discovered the service of Gate28. ¡Buenos días chicos!

Hoy os saludo desde la Costa Brava donde estoy disfrutando de unos días en esta bonita zona.

Son medio “vacaciones” porque ya sabéis que para bien o para mal nunca puedo desconectar del todo, pero bueno, yo me lo paso genial de todas formas.

¿Y qué es una de las cosas que más valoramos durante el año y también en verano? El tiempo. Para mí ahorrar tiempo en todo lo que puedo es fundamental. Por eso ya sabéis que en el momento de la ducha intento aplicarme todas las cremas que puedo para no perder más tiempo después.

Este verano he descubierto unos productos que creo que os van a encantar tanto como a mí. Son los nuevos aceites hidratantes para el cuerpo de Natural Honey. ¿Lo mejor de todo? Que se aplican debajo de la ducha y listo. No tenemos que aplicarnos nada después, simplemente secarnos con la toalla. Además hay tres modelos diferentes: aceite de argán, de coco y de rosa de mosqueta. Este tercero es mi favorito porque me encanta el olor y además la rosa de mosqueta protege mucho la piel y ayuda a cicatrizar mejor, reparar la piel, etc. Yo ya uso productos con este componente desde hace años.

Así que mi piel tan morenita e hidratada este verano se debe en gran parte a este nuevo descubrimiento. ¿Los conocíais?

Estas fotos las hicimos en el pequeño puerto de Platja D’Aro, la primera zona que hemos visitado. Me encanta este look por cierto, con crop top blanco, shorts grises y camisa de rayas oversize.

Hello Guys!

I’m currently at Costa Brava where I am enjoying a few days in this beautiful area in the South east of Spain.

They are half “vacation” because you know that I can never disconnect from my work at all, but I always enjoy everything anyway.

And what is one of the things that we most value during the year and specially in summer time? Time. For me to save time in all I can is fundamental. So I always try to win time when I’m under the shower applying all the creams I can to avoid losing more time later.

This summer I have discovered a few products that I think you’ll love as much as me. They are the new moisturizing body oils from Natural Honey. The best of all? You can apply them under the shower and you are ready. We don’t need to apply anything else after, just dry off with a towel. In addition to this there are three different models: organ oil, coconut and rose hips. This third one is my favorite because I love the smell and also rose hips protects so much our skin and helps to heal better, skin repair, etc. I already have used this component in other products since many years ago.

So my hydrated and perfect tanned skin this summer is due in part to this new discovery. Did you know them?

I took this pics in the small and cool port of Platja d’Aro, the first area we have visited.And I like so much this look, it is completely my style: white crop top, dark gray shorts and a striped shirt oversized.

La Albufera, Valencia

¡Buenos días chicos!

Por fin vuelve a brillar el sol en la capital. A mi ya sabéis que el sol y los días soleados me dan siempre mucha más energía para mis días de trabajo, como que lo veo todo desde un punto de vista más positivo.

Como os comenté ayer no hemos parado este fin de semana en Valencia y hoy os dejo un nuevo video post donde os cuento cosas que seguro que no conocéis de La Albufera. ¿Sabíais que tenía una superficie de 30.000 hectáreas hace varios siglos y que actualmente el pantano sólo son unas 3.000? Este y muchos más detalles los veréis en el vídeo de hoy y en el del jueves.

Aunque lo escogí sin pensar muy bien en el entorno, mi look encaja perfectamente con los colores de los barcos en los que nos montamos para pasear por el lago. Llevo un vestido negro de manga larga y un chaleco de ante por encima, en color marrón, ya sabéis que es uno de los regalos de Reyes de mi hermana. Los botines a juego en ante marrón y negro fueron mi opción como calzado. Al poder disfrutar de unas temperaturas altas para ser invierno no nos hizo falta llevar nada más de abrigo aunque lo que no faltó fue el viento: ¡casi salimos volando! hehe. Desde luego fue una experiencia preciosa para mi por dos motivos: el primero es porque no conocía La Albufera, y creo que es un sitio de obligatoria visita; y el segundo porque en medio de tanta naturaleza y animales te das cuenta de todo lo que nos perdemos los que vivimos en ciudades enormes como Madrid…

Good morning guys!

Finally the sun shines again in the capital of Spain. To me you know that the sun and the sunny days always give me more energy for my daily work, it gives me many positive vibes.

As I mentioned yesterday we had a not stop weekend in Valencia and today I show you a new video post where I explain to you some things that I’m sure you don’t know about La Albufera. Did you know that it used to be an area of 30,000 hectares some centuries ago and now the swamp is only about 3,000? I tell you this and some other details today’s video and in the last one on Thursday.

Although I didn’t think so much my outfit according to the background, in the end my look matched perfectly with the colors of the boats that we took to stroll around the swamp, and the colors of the nature. I was wearing a little black dress (LBD) and a suede vest above, in brown, you know that is one of my sister’s last gifts. My suede boots in brown and black matching the rest of the outfit were my choice as footwear. Being able to enjoy a high winter temperatures to be in December we did not need to take anything more but as you can see in the video the wind was blowing so strong that we almost flight away! haha. Of course this was a beautiful experience for me for two reasons: first, because I had never been in La Albufera before and I think it is a must visit place of Spain; and second because in the middle of the nature and seeing all these animals you realize everything that we miss those who live in big cities like Madrid…

Night out in Nassau, Bahamas

¡Hola a todos!

Por fin estoy de vuelta de Cuba. Ha sido un viaje precioso que os iré contando a lo largo de los próximos días. La gente es encantadora y los lugares que hemos visitado me han dejado alucinada. Lo único malo es que no tienen wifi en ningún lado, ¡6 días sin conexión! Pero creo que lo he superado con creces he he.

Hoy os dejo unos de los outfits que escogí para salir una noche por Nassau (donde estoy todavía hasta finales de la semana que viene). Opté por el blanco que me encanta para verano. Este vestido de plumeti ya me lo habéis visto en otras ocasiones. Las sandalias de cordones de serpientes me gustan tanto que aunque no son el mejor calzado para esta zona como íbamos en coche no tuve que andar demasiado. Como complementos escogí un bolso pequeño dorado y un cinturón a juego.

Aquí en Nassau las casas son espectaculares. Todas son de estilo colonial con mil colores y con embarcadero para los barcos. Por eso tomé las fotos en el embarcadero de la casa para que podáis ver cómo es el canal que da al mar. Se ven algunos barcos aparcados en cada casa. Os iré enseñando más fotos de esta ciudad también en los próximos posts.

Voy a seguir aprovechando los pocos días que me quedan ya aquí, ¡que tengáis buen día todos!

Hello everyone!

I’m finally back from Cuba. It was a lovely trip that I’ll be telling you on the blog the next few days. Lovely people and places we have visited, it’s an amazing country and culture. The only bad thing is that they haven’t wifi anywhere, six days offline! But I think I’ve do it well he he.

Today I show you the outfit I chose for a night out in Nassau (where I’m right now until next week). I opted for the white color that I really love for summer time. This plummet dress that you have already seen me in other occasions. My snake lace sandals which are not the best footwear for this city but as we were going by car I didn’t have to walk too far. As complements I chose a small golden bag and a matching belt.

Here in Nassau houses are spectacular. All are colonial style with many colors and pier for boats. So I took the pictures on the pier of the house so you can see how the canal overlooking the sea. Some boats are parked in each house as you can see in the pics. I’ll show you more pics also these coming days.
