Feels like FRIDAY!!!

Si, ya huele a viernes, ¡yuhuuu! Después de la semanita de buenas noticias que he tenido pero también de enfermedad pienso dedicarme unas horas de este fin de semana a mi misma, a hacer las cosas que realmente me gustan sin prisas y con tranquilidad, disfrutándolas.

Y estoy segura de que ya sabéis que una de las cosas que más me gustan es pasear por el Retiro, que como siempre os digo tengo la suerte de vivir cerca del Parque más bonito de Madrid, o, cuanto menos, más emblemático.

Por eso ayer quise pasar unas horas paseando por estos jardines tan bonitos y coloridos entre reunión y reunión (de ahí que lleve tacones claro). Como estamos prácticamente en otoño y queda por delante todo el invierno para llevar abrigos prefiero empezar utilizando prendas de entretiempo como esta nueva chaqueta de lana que desde que la vi supe que me la iba a poner bastante… y este es el primer look con el que la combino. Me encantan los detalles de piel en los bordes y los botones marrones. La combiné una camisa beige con bordados de flores, unos jeans rotos, un maxi bolso y mis tacones bicolor con tachuelas. Los sombreros sabéis que son uno de mis complementos favoritos para invierno.

Espero que paséis un feliz viernes y fin de semana. Os veo en un ratito a algunos en el pop up de 1001 Atmosphera y a los demás os contaré todo mañana aquí.

Yeah, it feels like Friday, yaaay! After this week of good news I’ve had but also I with my sickness I really need a few hours this weekend to myself, to do things that I really enjoy doing and to be calm and rest enjoying every little moment…

And I’m sure you already know that one of the things that I like most is to stroll around the Retiro’s Park because as I always say I’m so lucky to live near this amazing Park which is at least, the nicer flagship Park of Madrid.

So yesterday I wanted to spend a few hours strolling around these beautiful and colorful gardens in between meetings (because of that I was wearing heels hehe, I don’t use to wear them to go to the park). As we are practically in fall season and is ahead all winter to wear coats I’d rather start using halftime clothes as this new woolen jacket that since I saw it I knew I was going to be one of my musts… and this is the first look where I combine it. I love the leather details on the edges and the big brown buttons. I combined it with a beige shirt with embroidered flowers, a pair of ripped jeans, a maxi bag and my color blocked heels with golden studs. You already know that hats are one of my favorite winter accessories.

Personal Shopper at ABC Serrano: Lujans

¡Buenos días!

Como la mayoría ya sabréis siento llevar un par de días un poco “desconectada” pero he tenido un cólico nefrítico y ando con bastantes antibióticos, espero que se solucione todo pronto aunque hasta que no se expulse la piedra nada… Aún así sabéis también que tenía compromisos laborales ineludibles como mi sesión de personal shopper para el Centro Comercial ABC de Serrano que comenzó ayer con la primera tienda, Lujans.

Como la tarde se presentó bastante gris y fría escogí una falda midi plisada en verde botella, con un jersey de cuello vuelto negro y una blazer corta con cuadros grandes en blanco y negro. Como calzado mis oxfords de lengüeta larga en negro también.

Espero veros a los que ayer no pudisteis pasar en la siguiente cita que es el viernes que viene, día 24, a las 18:30h en Calzedonia.

Good Morning my friends!

I suppose that many of you already know that these last few days I’ve been a little bit “offline” because I have had a renal colic and I’m hang out with many antibiotics, I hope everything goes well soon but not until the ‘stone’ is out of my body… Actually I couldn’t update the blog yesterday. Regardless I still had unavoidable work events such as my personal shopper session for ABC Serrano Shopping Centre which started yesterday with the first store, Lujans.

As the afternoon was gray and cold I chose a pleated midi skirt in dark green with a black turtleneck sweater and a short checkered blazer in black and white. As shoes my oxfords in black long tongue too.

Hope to see those of you that couldn’t attend yesterday in the next date which actually is next Friday, the 24th, at 18:30h in Calzedonia store.

My weekend stroll

Aunque el mal tiempo parece haber llegado para quedarse en la capital tener la suerte de vivir cerca del Retiro en pleno centro de Madrid para mi es todo un privilegio así que siempre que puedo me gusta bajar y dar un paseo aunque sea rápido y bien abrigada. Y como ya sabéis que de lunes a viernes voy a mil por hora siempre suelo tener un poco de tiempo para mi los fines de semana más que entre semana.

Esta vez no me puse gabardina o abrigo porque escogí un jersey negro de lana gorda con un foulard de estampado étnico por encima. Volví a recurrir al “toque rojo” que tanto me gusta últimamente para poder ponerme una vez más mi nuevo bolso rojo con tachuelas. ¡Estoy enamorada de él ya lo sabéis! hehehe. Opté también por los pantalones must have en cualquier armario: unos jeans cortados estilo boyfriend. Por otra parte tenía ganas ya de enseñaros mis nuevos zapatos estilo oxfords en negro con lengüeta XL y cordones, ¿qué os parecen? Como accesorios simplemente opté por mi nuevo Pepito reloj/pulsera.

Y ya sabéis que hoy tengo un día muuuy importante por delante y si todo va bien dentro de poco os podré contar por qué, así que ¡deseadme suerte porque la necesitaré!

Although the weather seems to be here to stay in the capital of Spain I’m lucky enough to live near Retiro’s Park in the heart of Madrid, this is really a privilege to me so whenever I can I like to go down and stroll around even now in winter when I go fast and well wrapped. And as you know from monday to friday I never stop for a minute I usually have a little time for myself the weekends more than during the week days.

This time I did not get a raincoat or a jacket because I chose a fat black wool sweater with an ethnic print scarf above. I opted once again for the “red touch” that I love to wear these days matching my new red bag with studs. I’m totally in love with it now you know! hehehe. I also opted for the must have pants in any wardrobe: a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans On the other hand I wanted to show you my new and stylish oxfords in black with laces and XL ‘tongue’, what do you think about them? As accessories I only chose my new Pepito watch/bracelet.

And you already know that today is an important day to me so if all goes well in a few weeks I will tell you all the details, so wish me luck because I really need it!

Monday of meetings

¡Comenzamos nueva semana!

La verdad es que no se quién dijo que los lunes son aburridos (como comenté hace poco en mis redes sociales) porque yo desde luego ¡no paro! Suele ser el día que más meetings, llamadas, mails pendientes, fotos… tengo pendiente, así que para mi son bastante intensos hehe.

Y para tantas reuniones de trabajo ya sabéis que me gusta ir más arreglada pero siempre dentro de mi estilo y con un toque moderno. Por eso la propuesta que os traigo hoy para un lunes de trabajo mezcla el estilo denim con toques más elegantes. Los jeans rotos son claramente el complemento más informal del outfit mientras que con una camisa blanca básica y una blazer por ejemplo azul de tweed como esta por encima conseguiréis ese toque más serio y arreglado. Suelo utilizar tacones para estilizar más mi figura y dar una impresión de mujer más mayor en los meetings (que con lo “mini” que soy si encima voy con vaqueros y plana… hahaha). El toque más roquero lo conseguí con el cinturón negro con hebilla plateada que es un complemento estilo cowboy que tanto se va a llevar esta temporada. Los sombreros siempre me parecen un buen accesorio para los días de lluvia y personalmente me gusta tener mil en varios colores. Como accesorios escogí mi nuevo mini bolso bandolera en azul eléctrico con cadena plateada que parece pequeño pero me cabe lo necesario, un colgante dorado con cruz y perlas muy de mi estilo y que dio un toque muy femenino al look y mi nuevo reloj Pepito Mystique en color azulón también combinando con el resto del estilismo y con la Mano de Fátima por el lado opuesto a la esfera.

¿Qué os parece esta propuesta para un lunes de muuucho “curro”?

Let’s start a new week guys!

The truth is that I don’t know who said that Mondays are boring (as I said recently on my social networks) because I certainly do not stop! This is usually the day that I have more meetings, calls, pending mails, photos… so to me are pretty intense and for sure the most long day of the week hehe.

And if you have many meetings like me, I like to go more well dressed but always according with my style and with a modern twist. So I bring you today this proposal for a working Monday mixing denim style with more elegant details. The ripped jeans are clearly the more casual complement of the outfit while with the basic white shirt and the blue tweed style blazer like this one I’m wearing over you will get that touch more serious and dressed up. I usually use my heels to stylize more my legs and also because they give an impression of an older woman in the meetings (as I’m a “mini” kinda woman I prefer to go with heels than with flats). The rocker touch came with the black belt with silver buckle cowboy style that you already know that is hitting hard for this new season. Hats always seem a good accessory to me for rainy days and I personally like to have a thousand kinds in various colors. As accessories I chose my new mini shoulder bag in electric blue with silver chain that seems small but I can carry all my necessaries, a gold necklace with a little cross and white pearls which is really my style and it gave the very feminine touch to the look and my new Pepito Mystique watch in dark blue color also combining with the rest of the styling and the Hand of Fatima on the opposite side of the sphere.

¡TODO AL ROJO!

Eso fue lo que dije cuando vi este bolso rojo con tachuelas que se ha convertido en mi nuevo “bebé” y en mi capricho de este mes, ¿qué os parece a vosotros? Como ya sabréis pertenece a la nueva colección de Valentino y aunque hay infinidad de colores yo pensé que qué mejor que comenzar por el ya famoso “rojo valentino” ¿no? Yo creo que es el complemento perfecto para dar un toque de color a cualquier día de otoño y también para animar cualquier look.

En esta ocasión lo he combinado con una sudadera oversize gris con mensaje de Coca-Cola para que las letras fuesen a juego con el color al igual que mis labios que he vuelto a colorear con este tono (me esto aficionando a pintármelos lo se lo se hehehe). Y ya he sacado de mi armario mis leggings de cuero negros que como iréis viendo son un must para mi en invierno por lo cómodos y abrigados que son. Ya que la lluvia parece haber llegado para quedarse opté por dos prendas imprescindibles para este tiempo: unas botas de agua y una gabardina XL.

ALL IN REDS!

That’s exactly what I said when I saw this red shoulder bag with golden studs that has become my new “baby” and my fancy this month, what do you think about it? As you know it is part of the new Valentino collection and although there are many other cool colors I thought that what better to start than with the super famous “red valentino” color, don’t you think so? I think it’s the perfect complement to give a touch of color to any autumn day and also to any winter look.

This time I have combined this cool bag with an oversize gray sweatshirt with Coca-Cola message so the letters matches the color of the clutch but also my lips that I’ve painted once again with this tone (I know I know that I’m quite fond of it, hehehe). And I’ve rescue from my closet my black leather leggings that surely you will see that they are a must to me in winter time because of the warm and comfortable they are. Since the rain seems to be here to stay I opted for two essential items for this kinda’ days: a pair of wells and an XL beige trench.

Toledo, Spain

Otra cosa no pero en España tenemos mil ciudades y pueblos de estilo medieval que merece la pena visitar en cada Comunidad Autónoma. El fin de semana pasado estuve en Toledo como ya visteis en mis redes sociales.

Si tenéis la ocasión de ir no dejéis de visitar el Parador, el Castillo Medieval, el museo de El Greco, la Catedral y por supuesto comer un buen corderito o cochinillo en Casa Aurelio.

La verdad es que tuvimos mucha suerte con el tiempo porque nos hizo una temperatura perfecta para estar ya en Octubre. Yo escogí unos cómodos jeans oscuros, mis zapatillas NB azul marino, grises y blancas y una camiseta azul marino con mensaje como ya sabéis que me gustan. El sombrero me sirvió para protegerme un poco del sol tan fuerte de las horas del mediodía.

Me voy corriendo a ultimar los preparativos de mi evento de esta tarde. ¡Que tengáis un buen día!

Here in Spain we have a thousand cities and towns in medieval style that are worth visiting in each region. The last weekend I was in Toledo as you already saw on my social networks.

If you have the chance to go to visit this beautiful city don’t forget to visit the Parador, the Medieval Castle, El Greco Museum, the Cathedral and of course eat a good lamb or suckling pig at Casa Aurelio.

The truth is that we were very lucky with the weather because we had a perfect temperature to be already in October. I chose a comfortable dark jeans, my sneakers in navy blue, gray and white and a navy blue shirt with a message as you know I like it. The hat helped me to protect myself of the hot sun of midday.

¡Buenos días!

Como mucho veríais anoche en mis redes sociales estuve en el estreno de la nueva película de Megan Montaner y Hugo Silva “Dioses y Perros” y os puedo asegurar que no me defraudó, os recomiendo ir a verla al cine porque ambos han logrado una película muy buena que te mantiene expectante los 85 minutos que dura. Pero sin duda lo que más me gusta es que te hace pensar, darte cuenta de lo que realmente importa en la vida y además valorar lo que tienes porque siempre hay alguien que está peor que tu.

Bueno, y pasando a analizar el look de hoy ya sabéis que hay días que me gusta ir más “moderna”. Esta falda plisada de cuero ya la he combinado con varias opciones pero creo que todavía no había publicado ninguna aquí. Como estos días hay momentos de más frío y de pronto sale un sol radiante escogí una camisa vaquera medita por dentro y un jersey gris atado en la cintura. Mis sneakers Stan Smith que me las pongo indistintamente con faldas, vaqueros, shorts e incluso vestidos por lo cómodas que son además de estar en plena tendencia. Como complementos un bolso negro, unas gafas de sol XL, mi reloj dorado con detalles en azul celeste y un colgante con la M de Marta.

¡Vamos a por la mitad de la semana con energía positiva!

Morning people!

Some of you would see last night on my social networks that I attended the premiere of the new movie of Megan Montaner and Hugo Silva “Gods and Dogs” and I can assure you I was not disappointed, I recommend you to go to see this film because they make you to be expectant all the 85 minutes and furthermore they play really good roles. But certainly what I liked most is that it makes you think, realize what really matters in life and also appreciate what you have because there is always someone worse than you.

Well, going to analyze today’s look you know that there are days that I like to go more “modern”. This pleated leather skirt is one of my must for this season and I’ve already combined it with other options but I had not yet posted any here. Because of the weather of these days (there are times cooler and suddenly the sun shines more than ever) I chose a denim shirt with gold studs and a gray sweater tied around the waist. My Stan Smith sneakers that I wear almost every day with skirts, jeans, shorts and even dresses because they are so comfortable and they are sooo trendy. As complements a black shoulder bag, my XL sunniess, my gold watch with light blue details and a necklace with “M” from Marta.

Bronze woman

“La mujer de bronce”… o al menos por fuera, eso es lo que parezco en el post de hoy. Es cierto que a medida que se va a cercando la nueva estación voy utilizando colores que en verano no escojo tanto porque creo que brillarían demasiado… Es el caso de estos pantalones color bronce que me encantaron desde que los vi para una noche de fiesta.

Como muchos sabéis este fin de semana he estado en Toledo haciendo una pequeña escapada para volver a pasear por esta preciosa ciudad que hacía tiempo que no visitaba. Tuvimos una cena muy bonita en el parador de Toledo por lo que quise arreglarme un poco más de lo normal. Escogí este body negro que os enseñé ayer en mi cuenta de Instagram (@itgirlmarta) y que parece que os gustó tanto como a mi hehe, combinado con estos pantalones de pitillo en color bronce. Para seguir con este tono me puse mis sandalias nuevas de tiras en el mismo color y mi mini clutch con cadena dorada también a juego. El toque más roquero lo conseguí con una cazadora de cuero negra con tachuelas doradas. Mi único accesorio fue mi nuevo colgante dorado con un pequeño infinito.

“The bronze woman” … or at least on the outside, that’s what I look like on today’s post. It is true that the closer we are to the new season the better I wear colors that I don’t use to wear in summer because I think they shine too much with the sun… I think it is the case of the bronze color of these pants that I loved since I saw them for the first time and I wore them for a night out.

As many of you already know this weekend I’ve been in Toledo doing a short break to go for a walk in this beautiful city that I didn’t visit since many years ago. We had a very nice dinner at Toledo’s Parador so I wanted to dress a little more cool than usual. I chose this black body I showed you yesterday on my Instagram account (@itgirlmarta) and it seems fro your comments that you liked it as much as me hehe. I combined it with these skinny pants in bronze color. Keeping with the monochrome of this tone I got my new strappy sandals in the same color and my mini clutch with gold chain also matching the look. The rocker touch came with a black leather jacket with gold studs. My only accessory was my new gold necklace with a small infinity.

What do you think about copper/bronze color for fall/winter time? Don’t you think they match perfectly well with this weather and the fall colors?

Saturday in a warehouse

¡Buenos días!

Como algunos me preguntasteis por este outfit os lo cuelgo rápidamente hoy.

Uno de los planes que suelo hacer cuando me quedo en Madrid los fines de semana es ir a Ikea. Ya se que suena raro pero siempre acabo metida en estos grandes almacenes o con mi madre, mi hermana, amigos, … La verdad es que me encanta recorrer los pasillos para ver las nuevas ideas y tendencias para el hogar aunque he de reconocer que la mayoría de las veces no me acabo llevando nada hahaha.

Para esta tarde que el tiempo no acompañaba mucho escogí un look muy de mi estilo: Una camisa blanca de nueva colección con mis también nuevos jeans slim fit en negro con cortes en las rodillas. Encima una blazer oversize en blanco y negro y como calzado mis oxford para este invierno. Todos los años acabo comprando calzado nuevo de este tipo porque al final es lo que más me pongo a diario. Un maxi bolso y un reloj fueron mis únicos accesorios.

Y ahora vamos a disfrutar de este soleado sábado porque seguro que quedan pocos. ¡Yo me voy de barbacoa! ¿y vosotros?

Morning people!

As some of you asked me about this outfit last saturday on my social networks I featured you here today.

One plan I usually do when I stay in Madrid at the weekend is to go to Ikea. I know it sounds weird but I always end up stuck in this big warehouse store with my mother, my sister, friends, … The truth is I love walking around the halls to see new ideas and trends for home although I must admit that most of the days I just don’t buy anything hahaha.

For this autumn afternoon where the weather was not much hot I chose a very look, as it is my style: a new collection white shirt combined with my ripped slim fit jeans in black. Above an oversize blazer in black and white and my also new oxfords for this winter. Every year I use to buy new oxfords kinda these ones because in the end they are what I wear daily. A maxi bag and a watch were my only accessories.

And now let’s enjoy this sunny saturday in Madrid because it might be one of the last ones. I’m going to a bbq! and you?

What do you think about mustard color?

¿Qué opináis del color mostaza? A mi personalmente es un tono que me gusta para añadir un toque de color a mis looks aunque bien es cierto también que me gusta más utilizarlo en invierno que en verano para romper con la monotonía de los tonos oscuros.

Por eso y ya que estamos en otoño cuando vi este clutch en color ámbar y además con el detalle de la borla de flecos me encantó y tuvo que ser mío. Pensé en que combinaría a la perfección con mis zapatos en el mismo tono amarillo pero ¿con qué ropa ponérmelo? Difícil elección… pero al final como primera opción para enseñároslo escogí los pantalones must have de la temporada: unos boyfriend jeans con muchos cortes. Como parte de arriba hacía tiempo que no me ponía una camisa de cuadros, y aunque parezca que ya están olvidadas en mi armario sigo teniendo una buena colección que me pienso seguir poniendo.

Ya sabéis que no soy mucho de llevar coleta, me veo mejor con el pelo suelto, pero esta vez decidí recogerme el pelo para cambiar de look y además porque el estilismo vaquero creo que así lo merecía. También las originales patillas de mis gafas de sol se podían lucir mejor. Como complementos llevo un cinturón en tonos azules y burdeos, un reloj de piel marrón oscuro y unos anillos finos dorados y plateados.

Y por fin viernes de nuevo… no se vosotros pero yo este fin de semana pienso utilizarlo por fin para pensar en mi, descansar y desconectar un poco.

What do you think about mustard color? To me personally it is a tone that I like to add because it gives a touch of color to my looks but it is also true that I like to use it more in winter time than in summer to break up the monotony of dark tones.

Since now we are almost in autumn, when I saw this clutch in amber color also with the tassel fringe detail I loved it and it had to be mine. I thought that I would combine it perfectly with my shoes in the same shade of yellow but… with what clothes should I wear it? Difficult choice… but in the end I show it to you as my first choice with the must have pants of the season: a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans. On top I rescued one of my checkered shirts, and although it seems that they are forgotten on my closet I still have a good collection of them so I plan to continue wearing them.

You already know that I don’t use to wear pigtail, to me I look better with my hair down, but this time I decided to change my hair up to look different and because I think that it matches the cowboy style. Also the original temples on my sunglasses could look better. As complements I was wearing a belt in navy blue and burgundy tones, a dark brown leather watch and some thin gold and silver rings.

And finally friday again… I don’t know what do you think but at least me I’m going to relax, take care of myself and disconnect a little bit from all this crazy last week.
