Bronze woman

“La mujer de bronce”… o al menos por fuera, eso es lo que parezco en el post de hoy. Es cierto que a medida que se va a cercando la nueva estación voy utilizando colores que en verano no escojo tanto porque creo que brillarían demasiado… Es el caso de estos pantalones color bronce que me encantaron desde que los vi para una noche de fiesta.

Como muchos sabéis este fin de semana he estado en Toledo haciendo una pequeña escapada para volver a pasear por esta preciosa ciudad que hacía tiempo que no visitaba. Tuvimos una cena muy bonita en el parador de Toledo por lo que quise arreglarme un poco más de lo normal. Escogí este body negro que os enseñé ayer en mi cuenta de Instagram (@itgirlmarta) y que parece que os gustó tanto como a mi hehe, combinado con estos pantalones de pitillo en color bronce. Para seguir con este tono me puse mis sandalias nuevas de tiras en el mismo color y mi mini clutch con cadena dorada también a juego. El toque más roquero lo conseguí con una cazadora de cuero negra con tachuelas doradas. Mi único accesorio fue mi nuevo colgante dorado con un pequeño infinito.

¿Qué opináis vosotros del color cobre/bronce para el otoño/invierno? ¿No creéis que combina bien con este tiempo y con los colores otoñales?

“The bronze woman” … or at least on the outside, that’s what I look like on today’s post. It is true that the closer we are to the new season the better I wear colors that I don’t use to wear in summer because I think they shine too much with the sun… I think it is the case of the bronze color of these pants that I loved since I saw them for the first time and I wore them for a night out.

As many of you already know this weekend I’ve been in Toledo doing a short break to go for a walk in this beautiful city that I didn’t visit since many years ago. We had a very nice dinner at Toledo’s Parador so I wanted to dress a little more cool than usual. I chose this black body I showed you yesterday on my Instagram account (@itgirlmarta) and it seems fro your comments that you liked it as much as me hehe. I combined it with these skinny pants in bronze color. Keeping with the monochrome of this tone I got my new strappy sandals in the same color and my mini clutch with gold chain also matching the look. The rocker touch came with a black leather jacket with gold studs. My only accessory was my new gold necklace with a small infinity.

What do you think about copper/bronze color for fall/winter time? Don’t you think they match perfectly well with this weather and the fall colors?

Saturday in a warehouse

¡Buenos días!

Como algunos me preguntasteis por este outfit os lo cuelgo rápidamente hoy.

Uno de los planes que suelo hacer cuando me quedo en Madrid los fines de semana es ir a Ikea. Ya se que suena raro pero siempre acabo metida en estos grandes almacenes o con mi madre, mi hermana, amigos, … La verdad es que me encanta recorrer los pasillos para ver las nuevas ideas y tendencias para el hogar aunque he de reconocer que la mayoría de las veces no me acabo llevando nada hahaha.

Para esta tarde que el tiempo no acompañaba mucho escogí un look muy de mi estilo: Una camisa blanca de nueva colección con mis también nuevos jeans slim fit en negro con cortes en las rodillas. Encima una blazer oversize en blanco y negro y como calzado mis oxford para este invierno. Todos los años acabo comprando calzado nuevo de este tipo porque al final es lo que más me pongo a diario. Un maxi bolso y un reloj fueron mis únicos accesorios.

Y ahora vamos a disfrutar de este soleado sábado porque seguro que quedan pocos. ¡Yo me voy de barbacoa! ¿y vosotros?

Morning people!

As some of you asked me about this outfit last saturday on my social networks I featured you here today.

One plan I usually do when I stay in Madrid at the weekend is to go to Ikea. I know it sounds weird but I always end up stuck in this big warehouse store with my mother, my sister, friends, … The truth is I love walking around the halls to see new ideas and trends for home although I must admit that most of the days I just don’t buy anything hahaha.

For this autumn afternoon where the weather was not much hot I chose a very look, as it is my style: a new collection white shirt combined with my ripped slim fit jeans in black. Above an oversize blazer in black and white and my also new oxfords for this winter. Every year I use to buy new oxfords kinda these ones because in the end they are what I wear daily. A maxi bag and a watch were my only accessories.

And now let’s enjoy this sunny saturday in Madrid because it might be one of the last ones. I’m going to a bbq! and you?

La verdad es que en Madrid contamos con miles de edificios y monumentos que poder visitar y sobre todo donde poder sacar fotos tan bonitas como las del post de hoy (y no lo digo precisamente por mi look sino por el entorno). Yo tengo la suerte de vivir cerca de muchos de estos sitios de obligada visita en la capital y hoy le ha tocado el turno a la Biblioteca Nacional. ¿Habéis estado alguna vez vosotros?

Habré pasado por delante miles de veces y no fue hasta hace unas semanas cuando me quedé mirando fijamente esta escalinata y pensé que era un entorno perfecto para un shooting. Por eso me paseé por las escaleras de nuestra antigua Biblioteca (haciendo un poco el tonto como veis en algunas fotos hehe) con mi nueva chaqueta larga de cashmere, una camiseta blanca básica y unos jeans negros cortados. Como complementos me puse un cinturón de leopardo con hebillas doradas que ¿os gusta más por fuera o por dentro?; mis gafas de sol tamaño XL; un par de brazaletes negros y dorados y mi reloj de piel marrón con maxi esfera blanca y dorada. Como no puede ser de otra forma esta semana volví a escoger mis sandalias de tachuelas en negro y nude. Os aseguro que son comodisimas a la hora de caminar durante horas (en respuesta a todas las que me lo habéis preguntado en mis redes sociales).

Os espero esta tarde a los que podáis y queráis pasar a conocerme como embajadora del pop up 1001 Atmosphera en la calle General Pardiñas 50.

The truth is that here in Madrid we have thousands of buildings and monuments to visit and especially where you can take pictures as nice as mine on today’s post (and I don’t mean just by my look but by the environment). I’m so lucky to live near many of these sites to visit in the capital os Spain and today it is the turn of the National Library. Have you ever been there?

I probably have past a thousand times and it was not until a few weeks ago when I stopped and looked at the steps and I thought it was a perfect setting for a shooting. So yesterday I walked up and down the stairs of our old library (being a little silly sometimes as you can see in some pics hehe) with my new cashmere long jacket, a basic white T-shirt and my black ripped jeans. As complements I was wearing a leopard belt with golden buckles ¿how do you like it more outside or inside the tee?; my XL sunglasses; a pair of black and gold bracelets and my brown leather watch with white dial and gold details. And of course I chose once again (and for the third time in this week I know) my new studded sandals in black and nude colors. I swear you that they are very comfortable when walking during hours (in response to all of you that have asked me about it on my social networks).

And this afternoon I will wait for all of you that can or want to meet me as the new ambassador of 1001 Atmosphera pop up at 50 General Pardiñas Street.

¡Cazador cazado! No se me ha ocurrido un mejor título para el post de hoy ya que parece que va llegando el otoño y yo estoy ya sacando la artillería pesada de mi armario… Además de que define bastante bien las prendas que llevo, llevar la camiseta con el mítico personaje de Disney Bambi hace que no pueda evitar recordar cómo lloraba de pequeña cuando los cazadores de la película mataban a su madre… Estoy segura de que a muchos de vosotros os pasa lo mismo, ¡yo lo pasaba fatal con esta peli!

Hoy he rescatado mis botas de agua y mi gabardina XL. Como las temperaturas todavía no han bajado drásticamente y estamos aún en Septiembre tampoco quería ir tan abrigada, por eso escogí combinar mis botas de agua en color verde oliva y mi gabardina gris extra larga (que es una de mis prendas favoritas para este tiempo) con unos shorts vaqueros y mi nueva camiseta de Bambi. Ya sabéis que me encantan las camisetas con mensajes y esta no lo puede decir más claro: “Live Simply. Dream Big. Be Grateful. Give Love. Laugh Lots.” (Vivid sencillamente. Soñad a lo grande. Sed agradecidos. Dad amor. Reid mucho). Estas 5 sencillas y cortas frases resumen casi a la perfección lo que todos deberíamos hacer a diario. Para completar el look otoñal opté por ponerme mi sombrero marrón con plumas siguiendo el estilo “cazador” del estilismo. Hunter hunted! I haven’t thought of a better title for today’s post since it seems that autumn is already coming and I’m getting the ‘heavy artillery’ out of my closet… Besides that defines pretty well the clothes I wear, wearing this cool t-shirt with the legendary Disney character Bambi makes me to remember how I cried when hunters of this cartoon movie killed his mother… I’m sure many of you felt the same way, didn’t you? I really had a hard time watching this film!

Today I’ve rescued from my wardrobe my wells (water booties) and my XL raincoat. As temperatures have not yet dropped dramatically ’cause we are still in September and I personally don’t want to dress so warm yet, I chose to wear my rainy boots in olive green color and my extra long trench in gray (which in fact is one of my favs for this season) with a pair of denim shorts and my new Bambi tee. You know that I love t-shirts with messages and this one can’t say it more clearly: “Live Simply. Dream Big. Be Grateful. Give Love. Laugh Lots.”. These 5 simple and short sentences perfectly explain what we all should do every day with our own lives. Se nubla… sale el sol… así llevamos ya unas semanas en Madrid y al final no sabemos cómo salir a la calle. Por eso una de mis mejores alternativas es salir con algo que me sirva para este entretiempo.

La opción que os enseño hoy es una de mis favoritas porque las prendas oversize sabéis que son un must en mi armario al igual que la ropa larga o XL. Hoy he decidido combinar una falda en color gris petróleo de un tejido muy suave que mezcla algodón y seda con un jersey gris perla oversize. Para continuar con la sencillez del look opté por ponerme debajo una camiseta blanca básica. Las sneakers dieron el toque más deportivo y al ser plateadas iban a juego con mi pequeño clutch en tono plata envejecida y mis joyas de plata también. Siguiendo la tendencia XL del outfit escogí mis maxi gafas de sol para los momentos de mayor luz.

Clouds coming… the sun shining… These last few weeks we are having in Madrid a crazy weather and at the end we don’t really know how to go dress. So one of my best options is to go with something I can use for this ‘meanwhile’ days.

The option that I show you today is one of my favorites because you know that oversize clothes are a must in my closet, the same as XL clothing. Today I decided to wear a long skirt in oil gray color of a very soft cotton and silk mixed fabric and a pearl gray color oversize jersey. To continue with the simplicity of the look I chose to wear a basic white t-shirt underneath. The silver sneakers gave the most sporty touch and they matched perfectly with my little clutch in antique silver tone and my also silver jewelry (tag, rings and infinite bracelets). Following the XL trend o the outfit I chose my maxi sunglasses for the moments when the sun came out.

¡Y viernes de nuevo!

Hoy os cuento el rato que pasé en el stand de mis amigos Alfonso y Gabriela, de The Diamond Society, acompañada de mi amiga y también blogger, Cris del blog Guía de Estilo.

Hace ya más de un año que conocí esta empresa y me enamoré de sus Pepitos. Creo que todo sabéis a los que me refiero (aunque los tenéis en las imágenes de abajo). Son los relojes pulsera que puso de moda la top model Kate Moss y que rápidamente se hicieron presentes en todo el mundo. Yo empecé llevando el de la calavera con cristales de Swarovski. Después pasé al del corazón con espejo plateado de fondo. Y esta pasada edición de la semana de la moda han presentado su nuevo modelo Mystique que es como un “mini rolex” pero con pulsera. Es comodísimo y lo hay en varios colores y diseños. Esta vez he optado por el azul marino con la mano de Fátima (o Jasma que es como realmente se llama) que es un símbolo me gusta desde siempre perteneciente al mundo árabe.

También TS Watches pertenece a esta cadena y ya visteis cómo triunfó el color blanco con caja de metal rosado con colores pastel este verano… y ahora he escogido el de correa dorada con esfera blanca y detalles en azul pastel. La última firma en incorporarse ha sido Lauren G Adams (por la que muchos de vosotros me habéis preguntado en las redes sociales), y que ya ha triunfado en USA y ahora ellos nos traen a España en exclusiva. Son pulseras con esmaltes de colores y pequeños charms con cristales de Swarovski también. ¿Con cuál os quedáis de todas? Es una difícil elección hehe.

Recordad que todos estos productos sólo se venden en las mejores joyerías de España y Portugal.

Friday again!

Today I tell you everything about the time I spent in the stand of my friends Alfonso and Gabriela, from The Diamond Society, accompanied by my lovely friend and also blogger, Cris from Guía de Estilo blog.

It’s been more than I year since I started collaborating with this company because I really fell in love with their Pepitos. I think that you already know what watches I mean (because I wear them in almost one post a week) but you also have the pics below. They are bracelet-wathces that have become very fashionable since the top model Kate Moss wore them, so they quickly showed up worldwide. I started wearing the black model with a skull with Swarovski crystals. Then I chose the heart with silver mirror background. And this last edition of the fashion week they have presented its new model,Mystique, which is like a “mini rolex” but with bracelet. Love it! It is comfy and you can choose between different colors and designs. This time I opted for the dark blue with the Hand of Fatima (or Jasma which is actually called) which is a symbol that I’ve liked always and it belongs to the Arab world.

TS Watches also belong to this chain and you have seen how my white model with pink metal box and pastel colors has hit this summer… and now I’ve chosen the golden strap with white dial and soft blue details. The latest firm to join, Lauren G Adams, has been very successful (for which many of you have asked me on my social networks), and has already triumphed in USA and now they bring it to Spain in exclusive. They are bracelets with colored glaze and small charms with Swarovski crystals as well. Which one do you like most? Difficult choice hehe.

Crazy about suede!

¿No os ha pasado alguna vez que por el tacto decidís comprar o no una prenda? Igual que por ejemplo a la hora de comer yo me guío más por mi olfato o por la vista según la pinta que tenga un plato… Estoy segura de que sabéis a qué me refiero he he.

Personalmente el antes es un tejido que me encanta para el otoño porque aparte de ser muy suave al tacto creo que favorece bastante tanto en pantalones como en chaquetas. He querido empezar mis looks otoñales con este pantalón fino de antelina en color camel y mi primera propuesta para combinarlo fue con una camiseta básica negra para así conseguir un look sencillo en el que se llevasen el protagonismo los complementos. Por eso escogí mi brazalete XL dorado con flores grabadas, un anillo dorado de serpiente, mi bolso negro con cadena dorada que ya conocéis y el toque más otoñal: mi sombrero marrón a juego con los pantalones y con detalles de plumas. Las sandalias negras con print de vaca todavía las puedo seguir utilizando y además me parece muy estiloso enseñar los dedos de los pies.

¿Qué os parece este outfit inaugurando la nueva temporada con el ante?

Have you ever bought something just because you liked the tact of it? Like it happens to me in example when I eat that I’m guided more by my smell or by sight to decide if I eat that plate of food or not… I’m sure you know what I mean hehe.

Personally I think that suede is a fabric that I love every new season because apart from being very soft to touch I think it’s very stylish in pants and jackets. I wanted to start my autumn looks with this fine suede pants in camel color and my first proposal was to combine them with a basic black tee for a simple look and this way get the accessories do the talk. So I chose my XL gold bracelet with engraved flowers, a gold snake ring, my black bag with gold chain that you already know and the autumnal touch: my brown hat matching the color of the pants with feather details. My black sandals with cow print that I still can wear with these kind of looks because I really think that is so sexy and stylish to show the toes.

Easy does it

Menuda semanita llevo… ¡y eso que sólo es miércoles! Como muchos de vosotros habréis visto en mis redes sociales anoche no pude alargar más mi vista a la farmacia de mi casa (Farmacia Goya 19) donde mi tocaya Marta me preparó un “kit de rescate” para mis dolencias post-vacacionales.

Dicen que cuanto más sencilla es una mujer, más guapa… eso dicen, y yo me lo creo. Vuelvo a recurrir a mi mezcla de dos colores básicos, simples, que nunca pasarán de moda y con los que siempre me veo bien: blanco y negro. No me gusta mucho arreglarme a diario pero a veces con un poco de colorete, un tacón y un complemento adecuado podemos conseguir un look para ir a trabajar pero que sea cómodo y esté de moda.

Cuando vi este peto blanco aún sabiendo que me quedaría grande (yo uso XS y es la S, qué le voy a hacer tengo cuerpo de niña…) me lo compré porque pienso que lo voy a poder combinar fácilmente tanto en verano como en invierno. Esta es una de mis propuestas de verano pero dentro de poco os iré trayendo muchas más… Me puse un crop top negro debajo, mis sandalias negras con tiras y lazos y un bolso negro a modo de bandolera. Basándome en el título del propio post “Easy does it” opté simplemente por unas gafas de sol negras y un par de brazaletes de plata como complementos.

What a terrible week I’m having… and today it’s only Wednesday! As many of you would have seen on my social networks last night I could not delay anymore my visit to the pharmacy (Goya 19’s Pharmacy) where my namesake Marta prepared me a “rescue kit” for my post-holiday illness.

It is said that the simplest a woman is, the more beautiful she is… so they say, and I believe it. Again I turn to my fav mix of two basic, simple colors that never will go out of style and that always suits me well: black and white. I don’t use to overdressed in my day a day but sometimes with a little blush, a heel and the correct complement you can get a cool look for a working day because is both comfortable and fashionable.

When I saw this white playsuit knowing that it wouldn’t suit me so well (I use XS and this is S, what can I do with my girly body…) I bought it because I think I’ll be able to easily combine it in summer but also in winter season. This is one of my proposals for summer time but soon I’ll be showing you some more ideas… I wore a black crop top underneath and my black sandals with straps and ties and a black mini bag as a shoulder bag. Based on the title of the post “Easy does it” I just chose my black sunglasses and a pair of silver bracelets as accessories.

The mule rules

Aunque ahora mismo os estoy escribiendo desde Bahamas, donde por cierto son las 8am pero el jet lag estará haciendo de las suyas durante todo el día, el post de hoy que todavía no os había podido enseñar porque he viajado más de 24h corresponde a mi último día en Marbella.

Ya es por todos conocida mi pasión por los boyfriend jeans y me encanta tener varios en modelos y colores diferentes. Estos son quizá los más veraniegos por el color claro del denim y además los rotos no son tan exagerados como en otros que tengo del mismo estilo. Son de cuello alto como me gustan a mí porque me parece que sientan mejor por la parte de atrás. Llevo un crop top de canalé negro que sabéis que ha sido otras de las prendas must de las últimas temporadas. Como el look es muy casual pero a la vez arreglado por los toques dorados, esta vez quise ponerme mi brazalete XL en la parte de arriba del brazo. Opté de nuevo por mi clutch de colores de rafia y mis sandalias mules que ya sabéis que son de mis zapatos favoritos para este verano.

Although now I’m writing you from Nassau, Bahamas, where indeed is 8am in the morning, jet lag is driving me crazy today. I wasn’t able still now to publish today’s post because I have traveled more than 24 hours to arrive here. So this post is from my last day in Marbella.

It is known my passion for boyfriend jeans and I love to have them in many different models and colors. These are perhaps the most summery for the light color denim and because the ripped jean is not as much broken as the others that I have of the same style. They are high-waisted as I like them because I think they suit so cool at the back. I’m wear ing a crop top in black ribbed which has been other must have cloth for the last seasons. As the look is very casual I opted for combine it golden details. This time I wanted to wear my XL bracelet in the top of the arm. I chose again my colorful raffia clutch and my black mules which you know that are one of my favorite shoes for this summer.

Yo soy de las que opina que por mucho que una persona intente camuflar su estilo es muy difícil llegar a ser ecléctico y que te queden bien todas las tendencias y sobre todo que sepas llevarlas con clase. Reconozco que mi estilo es más bien clásico y ya sabéis que no sigo todas las tendencias a ciegas sino que siempre intento adaptar éstas mismas a mi propia manera de entender y de llevar la moda.

Por este motivo me despido hoy viernes (mañana tendréis el videoshopping de la semana con una de las prendas must de la temporada) con otro look muy clásico pero con toques modernos que lo hacen más juvenil. Llevo unos pantalones de ondas que compré en una de mis últimas visitas a Londres. La verdad es que me lo estoy poniendo mucho menos de lo que me gustaría pero creo que voy a sacarle verdadero partido a partir de septiembre… Lo combiné con una camisa vaquera sin mangas atada en la cintura estilo crop top que claramente era el toque más casual del outfit. Para seguir con la tendencia de los tonos pastel opté por mis gafas rosas con cristal de espejo y mis brazaletes infinito en plata a juego con los blucher laminados. ¡Qué ganas tenía de volver a ponérmelos! Tienen ya más de un año pero he visto que han vuelto a traer nuevas versiones de ellos y son tan originales en plata, ¡a mi me encantan! ¿y a vosotros?

El último toque moderno vino con este clutch de mano transparente que me permitió llevar mis imprescindibles y sin esconder nada. Cartera, llaves, barra de labios, móvil…

Y como hoy por fin es día 1 ya sí que sí comienzan oficialmente mis (yo creo que merecidas) ¡vacaciones! Os iré escribiendo cuando pueda desde los destinos que voy a recorrer pero recordad que podéis seguirme a diario desde mis redes sociales @itgirlmarta.

I’m one on those who believes that no matter how a person tries to camouflage his style, it’s very difficult to become eclectic and even more to can wear everything fitting well on you. I recognize that my style is rather classic and you know I don’t use to follow all the trends. I definitely always try to adapt them to my own way of understanding and lead the fashion.

For this reason I show you today, Friday (tomorrow morning you will have the new videoshopping of the week with one of the must clothes for this season), another very classic look but with modern touches that made me look more youthful. I was wearing a pair of waves pants in soft pink I bought in one of my last visits to London. The truth is that I’m not wearing them as much as I’d like but I definitely think that I’ll wear them a lot after summer from September… I combined them with a denim shirt without sleeves tied at the waist crop top style that clearly was the most casual touch of the outfit. To continue the trend of pastel colors I opted for my pink sunglasses with glass mirror and my infinite silver bracelets matching my silver blucher. I really loved to wear them again! They already have more than a year but I’ve seen new models of them at the stores, they are so original and I like the silver print, I love them! Don’t you?

The last modern thing came with this transparent clutch which allowed me to carry on with me all my essentials without hiding anything. Wallet, keys, lipstick, mobile…

And finally today is August 1st, and yes officially today begins my (I think deserved) holidays! I’ll write you whenever I can from every city that I will visit but remember that you can also follow me daily on my social networks @itgirlmarta.
