Aunque bien es cierto que en algunos trabajos no dejan a las mujeres llevar jeans en la mayoría mientras no vayas con un pantalón extremadamente corto o roto si se pueden combinar con otras prendas para nuestro día a día.

Yo personalmente los días que tengo reuniones o eventos más importantes y serios me encanta llevar un pantalón negro (sin cortes esta vez), con una camiseta básica y una blazer por encima que aporte le toque más elegante y formal. Hoy he querido jugar con los cuadros de la chaqueta para ponerme una camiseta gris básica debajo y con el cuello de la misma en negro para elegir el resto de prendas en negro. Llevo unas sandalias bastante cómodas porque el tacón es ancho y bajito y son de mis favoritas para verano por el diseño con tiras y pequeños lazos que llevan delante. Cinturón negro de piel con detalles en plata, mi chapa personalizada con mi logo “it girl”, un reloj clásico de piel negra y un maxi bolso terminan de completar mi look de hoy. ¿Qué os parece esta propuesta moderna pero formal para uno de nuestros días de trabajo?

Ya os puedo contar alguna de las cositas que tenía entre manos… Como algunos habréis visto el fin de semana he diseñado mi primer zapato para la firma Manoletinos, ¡estoy muy contenta! A la hora de vestir me gusta ir muy sencilla sin mucho estampado o animal print porque siempre prefiero llevarlo en mis complementos para que quede más sutil y no tan agresivo. Es por esto que, como fiel amante del print animal, he diseñado una bailarina con tres tipos de estampados de animales: cebra, leopardo y vaca (pero en tonos marrones). Lo tenéis ya disponible en la web de Manoletinos así que espero que os gusten y que no os quedéis sin los vuestros.

En las próximas semanas os iré contando muchas más noticias… pero ahora ¡vamos a por el lunes!

Although it is true that in some jobs they do not allow women to wear jeans in most of them they do. Of course I can not be an extremely short or super ripped jean but if you combine a simple basic jean with other ‘elegant’ clothes you will have many other options for your working days.

These kind of days that I have most important and serious meetings or events I personally love to wear black trousers (not ripped for this occasion) with a basic tee and blazer over to give the more elegant and formal touch. Today I wanted to play with the checkered jacket to choose a basic gray tee matching and I took advantage of the black neck to wear other complements in black. I’m wearing a fairly comfortable sandals because the heel is wide and short, they are one of my favorites for summer because of its design with strips and small ties on top. A black leather belt with silver details, my personalized tag with my logo “it girl”, a classic watch in black leather and a maxi bag end up to complete my today’s look. What do you think about this modern but formal proposal for one of our workdays?

Finally I can tell you some of the good notices that we have been working on. As some of you have already seen on my medias this weekend I have designed my first shoe for Manoletinos brand, and I’m very happy about it! As you know I like to dress very simple without much stamping or animal print because I always prefer to wear that on my complements and accessories to make it more subtle and not so aggressive. That is why, as a faithful lover of the animal print, I designed a flat with three types of animal print: zebra, leopard and cow (but in brown tones). Now you have it available on the website of Manoletinos so I hope you like and do not forget to get yours!

Good basics never fail

Hoy la historia va de básicos porque ¿quién no tiene en su armario a estas alturas una cazadora de cuero, una camiseta básica de estilo militar y unos jeans rotos oscuros? Seguro que todos… así que hoy os dejo una combinación muy sencilla con estas prendas que todos tenemos y que bien sirve tanto para mujer como para hombre. ¡A por el VIERNES!

Como os digo habitualmente me gusta cada vez más la tendencia de ir cuanto más simple y sencillo mejor. Por eso llevo una cazadora de cuero negra, una camiseta básica en verde militar y mis pantalones con cortes hoy en gris oscuro. Las chapas que llevo colgadas con frases positivas son otro toque militar muy de moda. En las mias pone: “Ladies Rules” y “Make Fashion not War”. Como calzado mis All Star que me resultan muy cómodas para los días en que tengo que andar corriendo de un lado para otro o para mis momentos de relax de los findes. Maxi bolso, reloj XL y gafas negras terminan de completar mi último outfit de la semana.

Today is all about basics because, who does not have in their closet nowadays a leather jacket, a basic military style tee and a pair of dark ripped jeans? Surely all of you have it all… so today I wanted to show you a simple combination with these garments that we all have and that it easy to wear to both women and men. Let’s start this FRIDAY!

As I usually say to you I like so much the trend of becoming more and more simple when dressing up, the simpler the better. So I’m wearing a black leather jacket, a basic tee military style in khaki green and my ripped jeans today in dark gray. The tags I’m wearing with positive phrases are another military touch and very fashionable. In mine it says: “Ladies Rules” and “Make Fashion not War”. As shoes my All Star are always a must have because I find them very comfortable for the days when I have to run from one place to another or my time to relax on weekends. A maxi bag, XL watch and black sunnies end up completing my last outfit of the week.

‘Cómo Sobrevivir a una Despedida’

Día de estreno en Madrid. Première. Alfombra roja. Tensión. “Cómo sobrevivir a una despedida”. Y yo, ¿qué me pongo para posar en la alfombra roja junto a este equipo de actorazos?

Una vez más volví a escoger un vestido de la firma que más me gusta para estas ocasiones especiales. Llevaba tiempo queriendo lucir este vestido y no encontraba el momento… hasta ayer. Es muy moderno pero elegante a la vez. El estampado es efecto washed como si tuviese manchas de tinta impregnadas en la seda y luego lleva pedrería por delante y por detrás, pequeñas bolitas transparentes. Encima opté por una chaqueta de piel en color gris azulado metalizada que ¡me encanta! y no sólo para este look sino para combinarla con mis looks del día a día. Como calzado opté por mis tacones de aguja de 12cm (y los aguanté toda la noche! haha) con glitter en forma de estampado de leopardo.

Pero volviendo al evento quiero comenzar dando las gracias a todo el equipo porque se portaron genial con todos. Con la prensa, con los fans, con nosotros los bloggers… ¡sois encantadores! y por supuesto a la inmejorable directora, Manuela, por lo que se ha currado esta película y porque ha conseguido el objetivo: que te quedes sentado casi 2 horas sin parar de reir. Os recomiendo ir a verla porque no tiene desperdicio ni un minuto.

En las fotos os dejo algunos momentos con algunos de ellos, como con el guapo Roger que por cierto hace también un papel fantástico en la peli. Ya más abajo os dejo fotos con mi querido amigo Frank que viene conmigo a muchos de mis eventos y que ya conocéis, con mi gordi Natalia más conocida como “trendy taste” por su súper blog y que sale también en la peli unos segundos y con mis chicas Lara del blog “By My Heels” y Bea del blog “Necklace of pearls” que os adoro chicas, me encanta coincidir siempre con vosotras.

Première in Madrid. New spanish film. Red carpet. Tension. “How to survive a stag-party”. And what I wear to pose on the red carpet alongside this team actorazos?

I have returned once again to my fav dress brand that I like for these special occasions. I have been waiting to wear this dress and could not find the time… until today. It is very modern but elegant at the same time. The print is washed effect and it has impregnated different kind of inks on the silk and then little rhinestones in front and behind, small transparent beads. I opted for a leather jacket metallic bluish gray color over, I really love it! And I like it not just for this look but to combine it with my day a day looks. As shoes I chose my 12cm stilettos (and I wrote them all night long! Haha) with glitter and leopard print.

But back to the event I want to start thanking to the entire team because they behaved great with everyone. With the press, fans, bloggers like us and so… you all are lovely! and of course to the excellent director, Manuela, so it seems worthy this film and she has attained her goal: to just sit for almost two hours in a cinema without stop laughing. I recommend you go see this film because you will enjoy every minute.

Flared pants day 2: b&w

Estaba bastante claro que uno de los primeros looks que os iba a enseñar con mis nuevos pantalones de campana negros iba a estar combinado con el blanco… ¿no?

Ya sabéis que es mi combinación favorita de colores y pienso que para un día de trabajo es una buena opción llevar unos pantalones de campana con algo de tacón y una simple camisa o camiseta blanca con una blazer.

Yo hoy en concreto he optado por ponerme una camiseta porque así rompía con el toque elegante que aporta la blazer tipo crop estilo chanel. ¿Cuántas veces os he comentado que me encantan las camisetas o accesorios con mensajes? El de hoy desde luego no puede ser más claro: “tú”. En el pecho izquierdo. Cerquita del corazón. ¡Me encanta! Si, es cierto que soy cada vez más fan de la ropa muy sencilla y simple porque ya sabéis que pienso que no por mucho recargar un look o llevar estampados imposibles vamos mejor vestidos… por eso me gusta tener camisetas sencillas y básicas que me sirvan para todo pero que tengan ese ‘algo’ que las haga diferentes, no la típica que podemos encontrar en cualquier tienda.

Como calzado y para no ir arrastrando los pantalones decidí estrenar por fin mis nuevas sandalias negras de charol. Y como estoy deseando que llegue ya el veranito yo voy sumando poco a poco a mis looks complementos claros. Hoy es el turno de mi nuevo bolso bandolera en blanco. Me encantan este tipo de bolsos porque son cómodos al llevarlos de lado, el diseño es original y no quedan grandes para mi cuerpo y sobre todo porque me cabe todo lo que tengo que llevar a diario. Para terminar de completar el look llevo reloj de piel negro con detalles dorados a juego con el cinturón con letras XL doradas.

It was absolutely clear that one of the first looks that I was going to show you with my new black flared pants black would be combined with white color… right?

You know that’s my favorite color combination of all times and I think that for a working day is a good choice to wear these kind of flared pants with some heels and a simple shirt or t-shirt in white with a blazer over.

Today I’ve chosen a white t-shirt to break with the elegant touch provided by the crop type chanel style black blazer. And how many times have I said to you that I do love the shirts and accessories with good messages? Today’s certainly can not be clearer: “you”. On the left chest. Close to my heart. Love it! Yes, it is true that I’m becoming a super fan of simple and easy to wear clothes because you know that I think that it is not necessary to recharge a look or to wear impossible prints to go well dressed… so I like to have simple and basic tees like this on my closet but have that ‘something’ that makes them different, not the typical ones.

As shoes and to avoid going dragging my pants I finally decided to wear my new black leather sandals. And since I’m already looking forward summer time I¡m slowly adding to my looks light colors on my complements. Today is the turn of my new shoulder bag in white. I love these kind of bags because they are comfortable to carry on the body, the design is original and they are not so big for my body and especially because I can carry everything I have to wear everyday with me. To complete the look I’ve chosen a black leather watch with gold accents to match the belt with XL golden letters.

Flared pants are back!

¿Quién me iba a decir a mi que después de años peleándome con mi madre para que me comprase los modernos pantalones de campana cuando tenía unos 18 años (más conocidos como “barre suelos” para ella) se iban a volver a poner de moda más de 10 años después?

Pues si amigos, así es la moda, es cíclica como bien dicen los expertos y es que ¡todo vuelve! por eso es mejor que las prendas que más nos gusten o en las que hallamos invertido más no las tiremos y mejor las “realicemos”… ¡que nunca se sabe!

Ahora me rio pero en su momento no me hacía ninguna gracia que mi madre no entendiese que esos pantalones se llevaban y que yo también tenía que tenerlos claro, ¿no os pasó esto también a vosotras? Y qué queréis que os diga… me costó adaptarme a los pantalones de pitillo después de tanta campana, y cuando por fin lo hago y se convierten en un must have para mi día a día ahora ¿vuelve los ‘flared pants’? Pues nada… yo he decidido empezar poco a poco con este modelo que me he comprado en los dos colores básicos por excelencia: blanco y negro.

Hoy he combinado este modelo blanco con unas cuñas de madera para caminar cómoda y sobre todo no arrastrarlos y con bolso y camisa vaquera en estampado étnico azul, ¿qué opináis de mi propuesta?

If only just one year ago you would tell me that flared pants would become again fashionable I would believe you! After years fighting with my mom to buy me those modern flared pants (known as “sweeps floors” for her) when I was around 18 years old, they went back into fashion over 10 years later, wtf?

But guys, as we all know fashion is cyclical as also the experts admit, so everything will be back soon or later! So my advise to you is to keep your most beloved clothes or the most expensive ones because you would never know when you will again need them…

Now it is so funny to me tom remember it but when I was a teenager I was so angry with my mother because she did not understand that these pants I wanted to wore were completely trendy and that I had to wear them, didn’t this also happen to you? And the truth is that it was difficult to me to adapt to the skinny pants after all these elephant kinda pants and when I finally do it and they become a must have for my day a day now what happen with the ‘flared pants’? Hahaha… Well, so I decided to start with this simple and easy to wear model that I bought in the two basic colors: black and white.

Today I have combined this white model with my wooden wedges to can go walking comfy and shoulder bag in klein blue with an ethnic print denim shirt on top, what do you think about my proposal?

¡Buenos días chicos!

¿Cómo ha ido vuestro finde? Yo desde luego no lo he podido aprovechar más: he salido a cenar, he salido de fiesta y a bailar, he trabajado y por supuesto me he ido de turismo como habéis visto en mis vídeos y redes sociales… Me encanta que me cunda tanto el tiempo porque así empiezo una nueva semana cargada de energía.

Y comenzamos con el que va a ser seguramente mi look favorito porque me encanta la combinación sencilla de colores y sobre todo el punto elegante que aportan los tacones.

Color nude. Así he querido titular el post de hoy para centrar todo el protagonismo en este color. Ya sabéis que en la sencillez está la clave y que no tenemos que ir sobrecargados para ir más guapos… Basta con sentirnos cómodos y bien con lo que llevamos puesto. Por eso yo, que soy adicta a los pantalones de pitillo y más a este modelo Jamie por el que no paráis de preguntarme y que tengo en todos los colores y modelos, decidí combinar el color nude con negro para no quitarle el protagonismo que quería darle. Llevo jeans rotos y camiseta negra básica. Los complementos de nuevo en este color: mis zapatos favoritos “suelas rojas” y mi bolso bicolor.

Os recuerdo que en un par de horitas (a las 12h) estaré en directo en la radio Onda Madrid, ¡os espero a todos!

Morning guys!

What about your weekend? I really couldn’t have done more things: I went to dinner with my friends, I went to partying and dancing, I worked a little bit and of course I’ve gone like a tourist around Madrid as you saw on my videos and social networks yesterday… I liked it so much to do all these things because this way I begin a new week full of positive energy.

And we begin this new week with a look that will surely be my favourite outfit of this week because I love the simple mix of colours and especially the elegant touch provided by the amazing heels.

Nude color. I wanted to headline today’s post with that words to focus all the attention on this color. You know that simplicity is the key and that instead of going overloaded to fell handsome we just need to feel comfortable and good about what we wear. You already know that I’m addicted to skinny jeans and more to this Jamie model which many of you have asked me about a thousand times and I have it in all colors and models, so I decided to combine the nude color with black to keep on highlighting this soft pink touch. I’m wearing a pair of ripped jeans and a basic black tee. The accessories also on the top color for today: my favorite “red soles” heels and my color blocked shoulder bag.

Te estábamos esperando, ¡VIERNES!

Y he querido dejar lo mejor de la semana para el final… os traigo nuevo video post en una de mis tiendas favoritas. Para mi no sólo es importante que la ropa de una marca me guste, sino también que el lugar sea acogedor, que me transmita algo que me haga entrar.

Las escenas del vídeo están un poco desordenadas porque como no dejo de subiros mil cada semana pues al final me acabo liando… ¡pero espero que os guste!

Llevo una vez más chaqueta y camiseta de The Extreme Collection. ¿Qué os parece combinar una camiseta con un dibujo tan gracioso como este con una blazer para nuestros días de diario? Yo personalmente pienso que es una forma de romper con la seriedad de la chaqueta y de darle un toque más juvenil. Debajo llevo jeans negros y mis zapatillas grises efecto lavado que sin duda dieron el toque más casual.

Y como os dije me toca hacer de guía este fin de semana tanto con mi amiga India Abbi como con unos amigos que han venido de Barcelona y Valencia, así que os iré contando y enseñando todo lo que visitemos y como veo que os encantan los vídeos de Snapchat (reconozco que me he enganchando muchísimo desde que lo tengo apenas desde hace unos días) pues publicaré más vídeos aún ahí (podéis localizarme en todas las redes como @itgirlmarta).

We were waiting for you, dear FRIDAY!

One more time I have left the best post for the last day… today I show you a new video post in one of my favorite stores of Madrid. To me it is not only important liking the clothes and style of a brand, but the place must be cozy, to give me something to make me come again and again and buy the clothes.

Some video scenes are a bit messy because as I keep sharing thousand of videos every week to you in the end I just rolling… so I’m so sorry but I hope you like it!

I’m wearing a brown jacket and shirt, all from The Extreme Collection. What do you think about combining a shirt with a funny drawn like this with a blazer for our weekdays? I personally think that it’s a way to break the seriousness of the blazer and give a more youthful touch to our looks. Below I’m wearing black jeans and my sneakers gray washed effect that certainly gave the most casual touch to my outfit.

And as I already told you I have to be a perfect guide this weekend in Madrid for both my friend India Abbi and some friends who have come from Barcelona and Valencia, so I’ll be telling and showing you all that we will visit and as I can see that you really love my Snapchat videos (I do admit that I’m getting addicted and I only have it since just a few days ago) I will be sharing more videos to you these coming days (you can reach me on all my social networks as @itgirlmarta).

Must have: tracksuit pants

¿Qué opináis vosotros de los pantalones tipo chandal? ¿Y para el día a día?

Es una tendencia que ha surgido en Estados Unidos hace prácticamente un año, más concretamente en la Costa Oeste.

Muchas firmas americanas con las que ya sabéis que colaboro empezaron a diseñar este tipo de pantalones en todos los modelos y colores. Ellos tienen un estilo mucho más desenfadado, casual y cómodo y lo único que hacen es combinarlo con los complementos adecuados según la ocasión. Son de tipo chandal así que son comodísimos, atados en la cintura con un cordón y luego agarrados en el tobillo con una parte más elástica. Este último detalle es lo que más me gusta de este tipo de pantalones porque ya sabéis que soy muy fan de los pitillos más que de las campanas (si, reconozco que algún pantalón de campana me he tenido que comprar porque he visto algún modelo que no me quedaba tan mal… pero como los skinny nada! hehe).

Aunque ya tengo varios modelos yo hoy llevo estos negros con letras en un lateral combinados con una camiseta blanca básica, una chaqueta larga de lana beige y mis bailarinas color blocked a juego.

Como os he comentado en las redes sociales espero dentro de muy poquito poder daros muy buenas noticias y sorpresas que creo que os van a encantar…

What do you think about tracksuit pants? And for the day a day?

This is a new trend that has been created in USA like a year ago and more specifically in the West Coast.

Many american brands that you already know that I have collaborated with, began designing this kind of pants on all models and colors. They truly have a much more relaxed, casual and comfortable style and all they do is just combine these pants with the appropriate accessories according to the occasion. They are tracksuit style so they are very comfy to wear, tied at the waist with a cord and then caught in the ankle with a more elastic part. This last detail is what I like most about this kind of pants because you know I am a fan of skinny pants rather than flared jeans (yes, I recognize that I have already bought some pants of this kind because I’ve seen a model that suits me well but I always will prefer a skinny model, hehe).

Although I have some models on my closet today I wear these black tracksuit pants with printed letters on the side combined with a basic white shirt, a long wool beige jacket and my color blocked flats matching the rest of the outfit.

As I told you yesterday on my social networks I can’t wait to tell you very soon many good notices and surprises that I think you really will like…

The smell of Spring

Ya se va notando el olor a Primavera… y es que una de las cosas que más me gusta es llegar a mi casa y que me llegue ese olor a flores frescas que ya sabéis que tengo por toda la casa. Y me gusta mucho más aún bajar a pasear al Retiro y sentir esa misma sensación, el olor que la Primavera va dejando cuando pasas por tantas flores y árboles que huelen a limpio, que huelen ‘rico’. ¡Me encanta cómo huelen las flores! Son un detalle que siempre consiguen sacarme una sonrisa y alegrarme el día.

La realidad es que la tendencia militar ha estado muy presente en el mundo de la moda en los últimos años. No hay más que entrar en cualquier tienda para ver cómo se siguen llevando las parcas y pantalones con este estampado. Cada uno intentamos adaptarla a nuestro estilo y yo he querido rescatar estos pantalones de estilo militar en verde caqui y con bolsillos para combinarlos con colores claros y primaverales. Llevo un jersey de crochet de rayas beige y blancas estilo crop, un abrigo finito también en blanco roto y el toque más casual lo conseguí con mis zapatillas doradas que ya sabéis lo cómodas que me resultan para cualquier día.

Now we can really feel the smell of Spring… This is one of the things that I like most, to arrive home and smell all those fresh flowers that you know I use to have around my house, everywhere. And I like even more going to stroll around the Retiro’s Park and feel that same feeling, smell the Spring scents hat leaves behind when you pass through so many flowers and trees that smell like clean, like ‘so good’. I really love how they smell fresh flowers! They are a detail that always get me out a smile and brighten up my day.

The truth is that the military trend has been present in the world of fashion since some years ago. We just need to go to any store to see how they continue hitting on trenches and trousers with this print. To try to adapt it to my own style one more time I wanted to rescue for this time these pants in khaki green military style with side pockets. I combined them with light, spring colors. I’m wearing a crochet sweater crop style in beige and white, a thin white coat and to give the casual touch I put on my golden slippers that you know how comfortable I feel with them.

Maxi dresses rules

Parece que por fin va llegando esa época del año en la que podemos sacar nuestra ropa más colorida y divertida a relucir… y una de las prendas que no puede faltar en ningún armario son los maxi vestidos. Reconozco que yo soy adicta a ellos y ya me habéis visto llevando varios incluso en invierno, ¿y vosotras?

Desde que vi este vestido largo a la vuelta de mi viaje de Semana Santa he estado esperando la ocasión adecuada para ponérmelo… y qué mejor que un lunes para comenzar la semana con fuerza sintiéndonos guapas, cómodas y sobre todo sexies y elegantes gracias al diseño y estampado étnico de este modelo, ¿no?

Para darle un toque más moderno y casual al look decidí ponerme una cazadora de ante negra por encima estilo crop a juego con mis slippers de gato en negro terciopelo. Llevo también bolso y reloj en negro pero maxi gafas de sol moradas siguiendo la tendencia oversize del vestido y sus tonos.

He querido también dejaros hoy un mini vídeo para que veáis más de cerca en qué consiste mi trabajo diario ya que no paráis de pedirme que suba más y más vídeos contandoos cositas… pues voilà! yo encantada de compartir con vosotros mi día a día.

It seems that finally is coming the real spring time, that season of year where we can wear our most colorful and funny clothes to show them… and a cloth that is a must have in any closet for this coming Spring/Summer is a maxi dress. I do admit that I am addicted to them. I really feel very comfy with them and you have seen me many times even in winter time with some models, what about you?

Since I saw this long maxi dress after I came from my Easter Time trip I’ve been waiting for the right occasion to wear it… and what a better day than on a Monday to begin better the week feeling beautiful, comfortable and above all sexy and elegant thanks to design and ethnic print of this model, do you like it?

To give a more modern and casual touch to the look I decided to wear over a black suede jacket crop style matching with my ‘katty’ slippers in black velvet. I’m also wearing a black shoulder bag and watch but also my purple maxi sunnies following the trend oversize of the dress and the colors.

I also wanted to show you another mini video so you can see more closely what’s my daily work as you are always asking me about it and to share more and more videos telling you whatever… so voilà! I’m absolutely delighted to share with you my day a day.
