Ya sabemos todos que los LBD son un must en cualquier armario. El problema está en encontrar uno que nos siente bien y eso ya no e s tarea tan fácil…
Por eso mi propuesta en el videoshopping de hoy es este Little Black Dress pero que no es ajustado en las zonas más “problemáticas” sino que es suelto tanto en el escote como en la cintura. Yo hoy lo llevo con un cinturón fino en la cintura para que me quedase más suelto, con un bolso maxi en negro y con unos tacones en azul marino con lazo negro. Como sabéis que soy muy sencilla y no soy muy de joyas he optado por ponerme simplemente un colgante y un reloj de pulsera.

So my proposal in today’s videoshopping is this Little Black Dress which doesn’t have the problem of other that are very slim, this model is width in both the neck and the waist. Today I wear it with a thin belt at the waist, a maxi bag in black and a navy blue heels with a black tie. As you know I’m very simple and I don’t use to wear jewelry so I just chose this little necklace and a bracelet watch.
Yo soy de las que opina que por mucho que una persona intente camuflar su estilo es muy difícil llegar a ser ecléctico y que te queden bien todas las tendencias y sobre todo que sepas llevarlas con clase. Reconozco que mi estilo es más bien clásico y ya sabéis que no sigo todas las tendencias a ciegas sino que siempre intento adaptar éstas mismas a mi propia manera de entender y de llevar la moda.
Por este motivo me despido hoy viernes (mañana tendréis el videoshopping de la semana con una de las prendas must de la temporada) con otro look muy clásico pero con toques modernos que lo hacen más juvenil. Llevo unos pantalones de ondas que compré en una de mis últimas visitas a Londres. La verdad es que me lo estoy poniendo mucho menos de lo que me gustaría pero creo que voy a sacarle verdadero partido a partir de septiembre… Lo combiné con una camisa vaquera sin mangas atada en la cintura estilo crop top que claramente era el toque más casual del outfit. Para seguir con la tendencia de los tonos pastel opté por mis gafas rosas con cristal de espejo y mis brazaletes infinito en plata a juego con los blucher laminados. ¡Qué ganas tenía de volver a ponérmelos! Tienen ya más de un año pero he visto que han vuelto a traer nuevas versiones de ellos y son tan originales en plata, ¡a mi me encantan! ¿y a vosotros?
El último toque moderno vino con este clutch de mano transparente que me permitió llevar mis imprescindibles y sin esconder nada. Cartera, llaves, barra de labios, móvil…
Y como hoy por fin es día 1 ya sí que sí comienzan oficialmente mis (yo creo que merecidas) ¡vacaciones! Os iré escribiendo cuando pueda desde los destinos que voy a recorrer pero recordad que podéis seguirme a diario desde mis redes sociales @itgirlmarta.

I’m one on those who believes that no matter how a person tries to camouflage his style, it’s very difficult to become eclectic and even more to can wear everything fitting well on you. I recognize that my style is rather classic and you know I don’t use to follow all the trends. I definitely always try to adapt them to my own way of understanding and lead the fashion.
For this reason I show you today, Friday (tomorrow morning you will have the new videoshopping of the week with one of the must clothes for this season), another very classic look but with modern touches that made me look more youthful. I was wearing a pair of waves pants in soft pink I bought in one of my last visits to London. The truth is that I’m not wearing them as much as I’d like but I definitely think that I’ll wear them a lot after summer from September… I combined them with a denim shirt without sleeves tied at the waist crop top style that clearly was the most casual touch of the outfit. To continue the trend of pastel colors I opted for my pink sunglasses with glass mirror and my infinite silver bracelets matching my silver blucher. I really loved to wear them again! They already have more than a year but I’ve seen new models of them at the stores, they are so original and I like the silver print, I love them! Don’t you?
The last modern thing came with this transparent clutch which allowed me to carry on with me all my essentials without hiding anything. Wallet, keys, lipstick, mobile…
And finally today is August 1st, and yes officially today begins my (I think deserved) holidays! I’ll write you whenever I can from every city that I will visit but remember that you can also follow me daily on my social networks @itgirlmarta.
‘It Girl’ o traducido al español, “chica de moda”. Ese es el nombre que escogí para mi blog porque lo vi muy comercial aparte de que en ese momento no se hablaba de otra cosa en los medios de comunicación. Por eso cuando encontré esta camiseta el año pasado tuve que comprármela porque no podía encajar mejor con mi nombre.
Que los boyfriend jeans han arrasado esta temporada es un hecho que todos hemos visto, pero es cierto que a veces no sientan del todo bien. A mi por lo menos me costó dar con unos que me quedasen bien de cintura aunque luego fuesen rectos hacia abajo. También me pasa que cuando me los pongo con zapato plano me veo más bajita porque son anchos de pierna por eso intento siempre combinarlos con una sandalia o cuña que me hagan más alta.
La semana pasada en el desfile de moda masculina de Mirto para la temporada Primavera/Verano 2015 que podéis ver AQUÍ nos repartieron unos coloridos pañuelos. Yo escogí uno blanco con flores en tonos azules porque pensé que sería muy fácil de combinar con vaqueros, shorts, y en general con ropa blanca sobre todo ahora en verano. Esta es la opción que se me ha ocurrido para ponérmelo con el look de hoy. Lo he utilizado con banda para el pelo y me he hecho un pequeño lazo delante consiguiendo un estilo muy preppy, ¿no creéis?
Por último y como os he comentado antes escogí unas cómodas cuñas que estilizasen más mi figura. Como complementos un bolso color block en blanco y negro a juego con la camiseta, mis gafas de sol negras y un maxi reloj en blanco.

‘It Girl’ or translated into Spanish, “chica de moda”. That’s the name I chose for my blog because I saw it very commercial and all the media where talking about the new it girl fashion icons. So when I found this t-shirt last year I had to bought it because it couldn’t fit better with my blog name.
Boyfriend jeans has rock it this season, is a fact, but it is also true that sometimes they do not feel quite well. To me at least I had a hard time to chose one of them because I wanted some that fit me right on the waist knowing that they are straight down then. It also happens to me that when I wear flat shoes with these kind of jeans I look even shorter so I always try to combine them with a wedge sandal to make me taller.
Last week at the Mirto menswear fashion show for Spring/Summer 2015 season that you can see HERE they bring us a colorful handkerchiefs. I chose a white one with blue flowers because I thought it would be very easy to match with jeans, shorts, and generally white clothes especially now in summer. This is the option that I chose to wear it for the first time with today’s look. I’ve used it as a hair band and I have made a small tie on top. It gives a very preppy style, don’t you think so?
Finally, as I have said before I chose a comfy wedges to stylize my body. As complementos I opted for this color block bag in black and white matching the t-shirt, my black leather sunglasses and a white maxi watch.
No podía pasar una semana sin que os enseñase un look de estilo lady de los que a mi me gustan… En verano las faldas blancas son un must y además nos sirven para cualquier ocasión, tanto para el día o ir a trabajar como para salir por la noche con un zapato de tacón. Yo esta vez he optado por combinar en blanco con un top en color maquillaje con detalles de encaje en el borde a juego con la falda. Mis bailarinas favoritas, las color block en negro y beige fueron el calzado que escogí para recorrerme las calles de Madrid. Un maxi bolso siguiendo los tonos de la ropa y como accesorios un reloj tipo vintage en marrón oscuro, un par de anillos finos en dorado hoy y unos colgantes de piñas en oro y plata que claramente dieron un toque muy veraniego al estilismo (ya sabéis que las piñas están muy de moda esta temporada, os recuerdo por ejemplo ESTEpost con camiseta con estampado de esta rica fruta).
Vamos a por el miércoles que ya estamos a mitad de semana…

I couldn’t spend a week without showing you some lady look like this one hehe… I like the white in summer and we all know that skirts are a must for these season because we can wear them in any occasion, for the day or to go to work or for a night out with a high heel shoe. To combine it I have chosen this time a make up color top with lace details in the edge to match the skirt. My favorite flats, the color block black and beige were the shoes I chose to stroll around Madrid’s streets. A maxi bag according with the colors of the rest of the clothes and as accessories I was wearing a vintage watch in dark brown leather, a pair of thin rings in gold today and two pineapple necklace in gold and silver that clearly got the summery styling touch (you know that pineapples are very fashionable this season, I remember you for example THIS post where I was wearing a shirt with this rich fruit printed).
Let’s go with the Wednesday, we are already in the middle of the week…
En verano es un hecho que nos gusta lucir pierna aunque no estemos muy bronceados todavía como es mi caso. Ya que estamos a finales de Julio y aún no he podido empezar mis vacaciones me apetece salir a la calle cómoda y con ropa veraniega para no pasar aún más calor.
Hoy he optado por el color azul en mi outfit. La camisa da ese toque más sofisticado y elegante al look mientras que los shorts vaqueros rotos consiguen que sea más juvenil y moderno. Aunque sabéis que soy fanática de las bailarinas o slippers (y en general de cualquier zapato plano) reconozco que a veces llevar una sandalia con un poco de tacón estiliza mucho más la figura. Por eso opté por estas en color plateado que tienen tacón ancho y son de altura media por lo que las puedo llevar todo el día sin cansarme. Esta vez como complementos escogí mi clutch transparente y mis brazaletes de plata de infinito.

It’s a fact that in summer time we like to show our legs even if we are still not so tanned like me. We are at the end of July and I couldn’t start my holidays yet so I want to go out with comfy summer clothes to avoid the terrible heat.
Today I opted for the blue in my outfit. The shirt gives that sophisticated and elegant touch to the look while the ripped denim shorts get it more youthful and modern. Although you know I’m a fan of flats and slippers (and in general any flat shoe) I do admit that sometimes wearing a sandal gives you more stylized figure. So I opted for these ones in silver with wide heel and medium height so that I can wear them all day without getting tired. This time I chose as complements my transparent clutch and silver infinity bracelets.
And you, do you like shorts for your day a day? Combined with a shirt that I’m pretty sure you have in your closet you will get one styling like this: trendy and elegant.

Lunes de nuevo pero y yo ya estoy recuperada casi al 100% para comenzar una nueva semana… ¡Allá vamos!
El naranja no suele ser un color que use a menudo porque muchas veces lo veo demasiado llamativo y difícil de combinar… pero cuando encuentro algo en naranja suave como me pasó con estos pantalones se acaba convirtiendo en un must para mi día a día. Ya sabéis que depende de con quien me reúna tengo que ir vestida de una u otra forma, supongo que a vosotros os pasará lo mismo. Por eso para un día de meetings más importantes opté por estos pantalones de vestir en color naranja pastel combinados con negro para romper con la seriedad del look. Llevo una camiseta básica negra con encaje en el borde de las mangas y mis sandalias mules que son una buena opción para los días en que tengo que caminar bastante. Me puse el cinturón de serpiente con hebilla dorada para romper con el color block del naranja y negro. Un pequeño clutch en tonos marrones y dos pulseras de garra en dorado y plateado fueron mis únicos complementos.

Monday again but I’m almost 100% recovered to start a new week… Let’s go!
The orange is not a color that I used to wear often because many times I see it too flashy and hard to combine with other clothes… but when I find something in soft orange as I did with these pants it just becomes a must for my day a day. You know it depends on who I meet that I have to go dressed in one way or another, I guess it happens the same to you at your job. So for a day of important meetings I opted for these suit pants in soft orange color combined with black accessories to break up the seriousness of the look. I was wearing a basic black t-shirt with lace on the edge of the sleeves and my mules sandals which are always a good choice for those days when I have to walk a lot. I put on my snake print belt with golden buckle to break the color block of the orange and black. A small clutch in brown colors and two claw bracelets in gold and silver were my only complements.

You Only Live Once o lo que es lo mismo “sólo se vive una vez”… así que a aplicarse el cuento y vivir cada día intensamente pero siempre respetando y sin hacer daño a los demás.
Como estoy recuperándome poco a poco de la operación que os comenté no tengo mucha energía para salir a la calle ni para arreglarme demasiado, así que hoy os traigo un outfit muy cómodo y sencillo. Tampoco llevo maquillaje porque no me gusta usarlo todos los días en verano y además para salir un rato a la calle no es necesario.
Las camisetas con mensaje sabéis que son de mis favoritas sobre todo cuando dicen frases tan directas y ciertas como la de hoy. Por eso combiné esta en blanco y negro que es tipo crop top con unos jeans de cuello alto y doble vuelta en el tobillo. Como me puse mi maxi bolso marrón escogí como calzado mis slippers con estampado de leopardo para ir a juego con los colores. Mis pulseras XL de infinito en lisa y doble que ya no me quito porque opino que combinan con cualquier estilismo. Ya os digo que este es un look muy sencillo y cómodo para el día a día porque todavía tengo que continuar con un poco de reposo un par de días más…

As I’m slowly recovering from the operation that I told you I haven’t a lot of energy to go out and to be out of home the whole day, so today I show you a very comfortable and simple outfit. I’m not wearing makeup because I don’t like to use it every day in summer and to go for a stroll it isn’t necessary.
You already know how much I like T-shirts with message especially when they say true words and direct sentences as today’s. So I combined this in black and white crop top type with my high waisted jeans. As I chose my brown maxi bag I opted also for my slippers with leopard print to match the colors of the bag. My XL infinite silver bracelets that I think I can combined with any style. As I said this is a very easy and comfortable outfit for everyday because I still have to rest a couple of days to recover completely…
¡Y seguimos con la tendencia de lunares! Que se vuelven a llevar es un hecho. Los hemos visto en camisetas, bikinis, shorts, bolsos y complementos… y hoy os los traigo estampados en mi vestido.
Me gusta este vestido porque es muy cómodo para el verano y con un tacón o sandalia y un clutch elegante también se puede poner para salir por la noche, ¿no? En esta ocasión lo he combinado con mis slippers plateadas de glitter para el día y mi maxi bolso negro. El toque de color lo conseguí con el color rojo de uñas, un poco de gloss rosa en los labios y el reloj XL en blanco con detalles en color pastel.

And we continue with the trend of polka dots! They are on fashion, that’s a fact. We have seen them printed in shirts, bikinis, shorts, handbags and accessories… and today I bring you this dotted dress.
I liked this dress because it’s very comfortable for summer and with heels or sandals and an elegant clutch you can also wear it for a night out, don’t you think so? This time I combined them with my silver glitter slippers for the day and my black maxi bag. I got the color touch with the red polish, some pink gloss and my XL watch in white with pastel details.
¡Buenos días desde el hospital! Todo ha salido fenomenal y me darán el alta a lo largo del día así que ya me voy a casa y me veréis haciendo de las mías dentro de poco hehe. ¿Cómo va vuestra semana?
Hoy vuele un look con sombrero que me gustan mucho para diario y además me protegen del sol. Como lo que tenía claro es que quería ponerme este sombrero de estilo boho chic lo que hice es ir completando el look con los complementos y ropa adecuados. Yo muchas veces suelo vestirme así: escojo algo que me guste mucho y voy completando el estilismo en torno a eso. Por eso en esta ocasión he optado por una camiseta de estilo hippie con estampado de gato de colores y plumas de indio. Como parte de abajo rescaté mis shorts vaqueros con tachuelas plateadas y por eso escogí luego mis sneakers plateadas para seguir con la tendencia de un look boho. El bolso de estampado étnico y detalles de monedas en plata también es otro toque hippie y de color al estilismo. ¿Qué os parece a vosotros?

Today I show you a look that I like for everyday because of the hat which also protects me from the sun. As to me it was clear that I wanted to wear this Boho chic style hat I tried to complete the look with accessories and mix of clothing. I usually do this many times: choose something I like a lot to wear and then completing the styling around that. So this time I opted for a hippie style t-shirt with cat print and colorful Indian feathers. I also have rescued my shorts jeans with silver studs and then I chose my silver sneakers to continue the trend of a boho look. Ethnic print bag with that silver coins as details is another hippie styling and color touch. What you think about the boho chic trend?

El post de hoy es muy mañanero porque estoy entrando en el hospital ahora mismo. No os preocupéis porque como os comenté no es nada grave pero voy a estar un poco desconectada estos días… aunque intentaré que lo notéis lo menos posible.
Una vez más vuelvo a escoger mi mezcla favorita de colores, el blanco y el negro, como protagonistas de mi look. Como por las mañanas hace un poco de aire y más ayer que tuve que salir muy pronto de casa para un shooting, opté por ponerme una camisa de manga larga de cuadros blancos y negros que acabé subiéndome hasta el medio brazo. Unos cómodos jeans blancos como parte de abajo y para dar algo de altura y estilizar un poco la figura escogí mis mules, son las cuñas más cómodas que tengo porque no van atadas al pie y el tacón es ancho y no muy alto. El toque más lady vino de la mano de esta nueva pamela que no me voy a quitar este verano no sólo por el diseño tan chic sino porque me encanta que sea en b&w. Opté de nuevo por mis brazaletes XL de infinito en plata, unos anillos finos y un maxi bolso en negro.

I’ve published today’s post very early because I’m going to the hospital right now. Don’t worry because as I told you it’s nothing serious but I’ll be a little bit disconnected these few coming days… but I’ll try to be as active as possible.
Once again I chose my favorite colors mix, black and white, as protagonists of my look. As in the early morning the weather is still cold yesterday I had to go to work soon for a shooting so I was wearing a checkered shirt long sleeve in black and white that I ended up twinning until the middle arm. A pair of white comfy jeans and to give some height and some styling I chose my mules, my fav wedges which are the most comfortable I have because I don’t go tired because the heel is wide and not very high. The lady touch came from the hand of this new maxi hat that surely I will bring with me this summer; I love it not only for the chic design but because I like the b&w mix. I wore once again my XL infinity bracelets in silver, some thin rings and a black maxi bag.
