Tile color rocks it

No es rojo valentino… no es marrón… tampoco naranja… se le conoce como color teja y va cogiendo protagonismo a medida que avanza la temporada.

Yo no he podido resistirme más a enseñaros esta blazer en este color que he diseñado yo misma, ¿qué os parece a vosotros? Ya sabéis que yo soy muy simple y que tiendo más al estilo clásico, de ahí el corte amplio y largo y la doble botonadura pero he querido añadir un toque más moderno y roquero con las cadenas que lleva en las hombreras. Como acabo de mencionar sabéis que para mi día a día me gusta vestir con colores sencillos y sin mucho estampado, por eso combiné la chaqueta con una camiseta negra y unos jeans negros cortados. Como calzado escogí unas slip-on sneakers doradas a juego con complementos dorados: cinturón con letras doradas, collar de varias vueltas, bolso negro y maxi gafas de sol.

It’s not valentino red… it’s not brown… either orange… it is tile color and it is becoming more trendy as the season goes forward.

I couldn’t resist anymore to show you this blazer in this color who I have personally designed for me, what do you think about it? You know that I am a very simple woman and I tend more to the classic style, because of that the wide and long cut and double breasted but I also wanted to add a more modern and rocker touch with those golden chains on the shoulders. As I have just mentioned before you know that for my day a day I like to dress up with simple colors without much print, so I combined this jacket with a black t-shirt and black ripped jeans. All the complements were in gold too: a belt with golden letters, some necklaces, a black shoulder bag and my XL sunnies. All matching my gold slip-on sneakers.

Back in Bilbao for the weekend

¡Buenos días!

Como seguramente muchos de vosotros habréis visto en mis redes sociales este fin de semana he vuelto a subir a tierras vascas a seguir disfrutando de sus asombrosos paisajes, de su exquisita gastronomía y por supuesto de su maravillosa gente.

Esta vez el recorrido fue bastante largo y bonito porque una vez más el tiempo nos ha vuelto a acompañar. Las temperaturas no han bajado de los 20 grados por el día, ¡increíble! Por eso aprovechamos para subir al Monte Artxanda en el divertido funicular. ¡Menudas vistas desde ahí arriba de todo Bilbao! Si no habéis subido aún os lo recomiendo. Después bajamos y fuimos caminando una vez más por la Ría donde volví a sorprenderme con la elegante arquitectura de sus edificios y el color rojizo de las hojas que caen en otoño. Terminamos en la Plaza Nueva comiendo al solecito en una terracita donde me encontré con alguna de vosotras, ¡qué bonito encontrarme con vosotros allá donde vaya!

Como os podéis imaginar escogí un look muy cómodo para poder caminar todo el día: una chaqueta étnica de lana, un jersey de canalé blanco debajo, unos jeans burdeos con cortes en las rodillas, mis nuevas slip on sneakers doradas que son comodísimas por cierto y mi nuevo bolso en color crema que al no tener antes ninguno en este color estoy segura de que me lo vais a ver mucho. Como siempre y más en estos días soleados escogí unas gafas de sol, esta vez el modelo ‘so real‘.

Morning world!

I’m pretty sure that many of you have seen on my social networks that this weekend I have came back to Basque lands to continue enjoying its stunning landscape, exquisite cuisine and of course its wonderful people.

This time the stroll was quite long and nice because once again the weather was perfect, the sun shines almost every day. Temperatures have not dropped below 20 degrees during the day, amazing! So we take the opportunity to climb to Artxanda Mount in the funny funicular. What a view from up there of Bilbao! If you have not yet come up I recommend you to do it. After we got off and walked again by the river side where I was again surprised with the elegant architecture of its buildings and the reddish color of the falling leaves in autumn. We ended up at Plaza Nueva eating at the sun on a terrace where I met some of you, how nice is to meet you wherever I go!

As you can imagine I chose a very comfortable look to walk all day: an ethnic wool jacket, a white ribbed sweater white below, a burgundy ripped jeans, my new gold slip on sneakers that are very comfy so I’m going to wear them a lot and my new bag in cream color (I haven’t one in this color so I’m sure I’m going to wear it many days). As always when is a sunny day I chose a pair of sunglasses, this time ‘so real’ model in black.

I love this midi pants!

¡VIERNES!

Y os traigo el shooting con el outfit que tanto os gustó el otro día en mis redes sociales.

Este es el conjunto que escogí para los premios Mujer Hoy de belleza. Al ser un evento muy mañanero (empezaba a las 9:30h) me pareció la mejor opción ponerme unos pantalones abrigados para no pasar frío. Ya sabéis que el estilo midi (pantalones anchos por abajo a una altura entre el tobillo y la rodilla) está más de moda que nunca, y estos en color camel y de punto me encantaron en cuanto los vi. Como son de cuello alto me los puse con un crop top negro de canalé y manga larga y un cinturón de leopardo con detalles dorados en la cintura. El abrigo corto de pelo negro fue suficiente para luchar contra las bajas temperaturas de la mañana porque a medida que avanzaba el día el sol iba despertando y el calor entraba en el cuerpo. Un bolso negro con detalles dorados, un colgante también en oro con la M de Marta y mis tacones negros de ante con metal dorado detrás fueron mis complementos elegidos. Claramente el toque más moderno del estilismo lo conseguí con mis nuevas gafas modelo ‘So Real’ que no tienen montura en la nariz, ¡me encantan! ¿y a vosotros? Yo las he escogido en negro con montura plateada porque pienso que es el modelo que mejor combina con todo.

Que paséis buen fin de semana pero recordad que mañana os traigo un post muy especial de mi visita al Palacio Real de Aranjuez.

HEY FRIDAY!

And I show you today the shooting of the outfit that you liked so much this Wednesday on my social networks.

This is the look I chose for Mujer Hoy Beauty Awards. Being a morning event (it began at 9: 30h) I thought that the best option was to wear warm pants to keep myself warm. You know that the midi pants (pants whit height between the ankle and knee kind of) are more fashionable than ever, and these in camel color and knit fabric are so cool, I loved them from the first sight. As they are high waist I put on a ribbed black crop top with long sleeves and a leopard belt with gold details at the waist. The short fur black coat was enough to fight against the low temperatures in the morning because as the day was coming the sun was shinning and heated the complete body. A black bag with gold accents, a gold necklace with M from Martha and my black suede heels with gold metal behind were the complements I chose. Clearly the more modern touch of the style were my new glasses ‘So Real’ model which have no saddle nose, I love them! Don’t you? I’ve chosen the black with silver frame because I think that is the model that I can match better with almost everything on my closet.

The only way is maxi trench

Mitad de semana y yo sigo vistiendo con mi tendencia favorita para este invierno: las prendas oversize.

Hoy le ha tocado el turno a otra gabardina en color verde caqui combinada con unos pantalones rotos estilo boyfriend. Debajo opté por un jersey de lana de cuello vuelto en color verde pistacho clarito que es muy abrigado para esta época del año. Para dar un toque más elegante al look escogí mis nuevos tacones negros de ante con detalle dorado de metal en el tacón, ¿os gustan? Y el toque de color volví a conseguirlo con mi bolso rojo con tachuelas y cadena doradas a juego otra vez con el color de labios. Como siempre me puse varios anillos finitos con piedras y labios rojos.

Midweek and I’m wearing once again my favorite trend for this winter: oversized clothes.

Today it is time for another khaki green trench coat combined with my ripped jeans boyfriend style. I chose a wool sweater turtleneck in light green which is very warm for this time of the year. To give a more elegant touch to the look I chose my new black suede heels with gold metal details on the heel, do you like them? And the touch of color came again with my red shoulder bag with gold studs and chain matching with my lips. As always I was wearing some thin rings with stones and my red lips ring.

Lepagon jewels

¡Buenos días!

Comenzamos nueva semana cargada de muchas y buenas noticias que os iré contando y que estoy segura de que os van a gustar tanto como a mi.

Y he querido comenzar por un descubrimiento muy especial… como ya sabéis soy una chica inquieta y me encanta descubrir nuevas firmas para encontrar cositas especiales y diferentes que combinen con mi propio estilo, os voy a hablar de un descubrimiento muy especial para mí y es la firma de joyas Lepagón. Y cuál fue mi sorpresa al descubrir que esta firma liderada por una joven arquitecta hacía joyas completamente diferentes a las que yo había visto hasta ahora, y además todas ellas hechas a mano. Sus diseños arquitectónicos, la mezcla de oro y plata en una misma joya, los cuidadosos acabados en joyas finas que tienen siempre algún significado, … Todo esto hace que se conviertan en joyas muy elegantes acordes con mi estilo y además muy atemporales, por lo que se pueden llevar en cualquier momento del día y de la noche.

En este caso las he combinado con un look muy sencillo de estilo parisino, que es a lo que me recuerdan estas especiales piezas. Llevo una camiseta básica blanca, unos jeans de cuero negros y una chaqueta oversize en gris oscuro (de hecho es de hombre, sabéis que me encanta llevar ropa ancha de ellos) con mis oxfords negros que también conocéis. El toque de color lo conseguí con el bolso rojo de tachuelas doradas junto con las pulseras de colores y piedras semipreciosas de la firma. Al ser tan finas y con hilos de tantos colores (y además baratísimas) a mi me gusta ponerme muchas juntas para que el efecto visual sea más colorido y bonito.

Y vosotros, ¿os atrevéis a romper con lo convencional y a crear tendencias en vez de seguirlas?

Let’s start a new week full of new and good notices that I will be telling you here. Hope you like and enjoy them as much as me!

And I wanted to start with a very special discovery to me… as you already know I’m a non stop woman and I love discovering new brands to find special and different little things that I could combine with my own style, so I’m going to talk to you about a very special one to me. It is called Lepagón and is a cool and ‘new born’ jewellery firm. And the best surprise to me was to discover that this brand is lead by a young architect woman who made completely different piecs than I had seen before, and furthermore all of them are handmade! Her architectural designs, the mix of gold and silver in the same jewel, carefully finished in thin jewelry that will always mean something special… All this makes them become a very stylish jewelry line matching with my style and also timeless, so we can worn them at anytime of the day or night and in any season.

Today I have combined this cool jewels with a very simple look Parisian style, which is what these special pieces remember me of. I was wearing a basic white shirt, my black leather leggings and an oversize dark gray jacket (actually is man collection, you know that I love to wear baggy clothes from him) all combined with my black oxfords. The touch of color came with my red bag with golden studs and all these colourful bracelets with many different gemstones. Being so thin you can wear at the same time many colors (and also because of the cheap price) so I like to wear many together for the visual effect, more colorful and beautiful.

¡Y viernes de nuevo!

Creo que este fin de semana voy a tener que trabajar bastante para recuperar el tiempo perdido estas semanas con el blog y así actualizar varias cosas que quiero enseñaros cuanto antes, pero yo feliz de poder trabajar en lo que me gusta y sobre todo de compartirlo con vosotros y que os guste también.

El look de hoy es muy otoñal: una gabardina verde muy apropiada para la lluvia, debajo un jersey en blanco roto muy abrigado también, unos jeans rotos (hechos por mi misma) y unos oxfords marrones de una de mis tiendas favoritas de calzado que está en Londres. Un bolso negro bandolera con cadena dorada, un sombrero (¡cómo no!) y un reloj fueron mis complementos. Quiero volver a hacer hincapié en que la pulsera finita que llevo en hilo burdeos y con dos estrellitas es benéfica, se puede comprar en By 164 y sólo cuesta 9€ y todo el importe va destinado a ayudar a los niños discriminados por la sociedad y con problemas sociales. Ya sabéis que a mi me gusta siempre que puedo aportar mi granito de arena por eso no podía evitar contaros esto.

Friday again!

I think that this weekend I’ll have to work hard on the blog to update it without all the technical problems that I’ve had all these last weeks… I have many new things that I want you to know soon, so I’m happy to work on what I like and especially to share it with you and hope you like it too.

Today’s look is very autumn mood: a fitting green raincoat with a beige sweater very warm too, some ripped jeans (made by myself) and my brown oxfords from one of my favorite shoe stores which is located in London. A black shoulder bag with gold chain, a hat (of course!) and a vintage style watch were my accessories. I want to re-emphasize that the thin bracelet that I’m wearing in burgundy with two little stars is beneficial, you can buy it only at By 164 and it only costs 9 €. The entire amount is intended to help children discriminated by society and fight against their social problems. You know that I always like to contribute my bit whenever I can so I could not avoid telling you this.

Oversized lover!

¡Hola hola!

¿No os ha pasado a vosotros alguna vez que os levantáis un poco más “hinchados” de lo normal (por la tremenda cena del día anterior o las mujeres en nuestros días del mes)? Pues a mi en esos días me gusta sentirme cómoda para poder seguir con mi ritmo de trabajo y la mejor opción siempre es escoger ropa ancha con la que nos sintamos a gusto.

Esta maxi trench que es de la temporada pasada sabéis que es de mis favoritas y siempre acaba siendo una buena opción cuando no se qué ponerme de abrigo. Los jerseys oversize vuelven con más fuerza que nunca este año y me encanta porque yo los tengo en mil colores y simplemente combinados con unas medias y unas botas o zapato plano conseguimos un look muy moderno y a la vez efectivo. Y una vez más he optado por un sombrero como complemento indispensable en mi día a día porque son un accesorio elegante y aportan un toque divertido a estos días grises.

Hi there!

Have ever happened to you that you wake up a little more “puffy” than normal (for the terrible dinner of the day before or the women in our ‘days’ of the month)? To me in those days I like to feel comfortable to continue with my working mood and the best choice is always to choose oversize clothing in which we feel comfortable.

This maxi trench from last season (you know that is my favourite) always ends up being a good choice when I don’t know what to wear to get warm. The oversize sweaters are back stronger than ever for this season and I love it because I have them in many colors and simply styled with tights and boots a flat shoe we will get an effective and modern look. And once again I opted for a hat as an essential complement to my daily style because they are an elegant accessory and add a fun touch to these gray days.

Oh sunny day!

¡Buenos días!

Parece que poco a poco todo vuelve a la normalidad con el blog, no después de haberlo pasado yo bastante mal estas semanas y de habérselo hecho pasar mal a la gente que me rodea… pero bueno ya sabemos que “en lo bueno y en lo malo” he he.

Me encanta despertarme con días soleados como este en Madrid porque aunque las temperaturas sean bajas a mi me anima mucho a salir a la calle llena de energía positiva y dispuesta a comerme el mundo.

Esta temporada uno de los ‘it coats’ o abrigos de moda está claro que va a ser estos de ante por fuera y borreguito por dentro. ¡Los he visto hasta para los niños! Este mío me parece que tiene el largo perfecto y además capucha, bolsillos, y doble manga, ¡a mi me encanta! Lo combiné con un jersey siguiendo la línea de colores camel, unos jeans ajustados y unas slippers que para el día a día siguen siendo mi calzado favorito. Mis gafas XL y mi maxi bolso son otros de los imprescindibles para mis días de trabajo.

Morning people!

It seems that everything little by little returns to normality with the blog, despite all the last terrible days that I have passed through and making people around me feel also worried… but you know that “always stick together on the bad and the good moments” he he.

I love waking up with this sunny days in Madrid because although the temperatures are low it helps me a lot to star my day full of positive energy and ready to rock my days.

This season one of the ‘it coats’ or fashion coats is clearly going to be this suede sheepskin outside and inside.I’ve seen them even for the kids! This one is to me the perfect one for the length and also hooded, pockets, and double sleeve, I love it! I combined it with a sweater in the same camel colors, some skinny jeans and my leopard slippers which for my day to day are still my favorite shoes. My XL sunnies and my maxi bag are other essentials for my working days.

Tea Time: Carlton Hotel in Bilbao (&more…)

Viernes… y no lo digo muy contenta porque sigo teniendo problemas con el nuevo servidor del blog, espero que por fin se solucione todo pronto.

El tea time de esta semana lo tomé en el Hotel Carlton de Bilbao que es uno de los hoteles más bonitos y emblemáticos de la ciudad. Como podéis ver en las fotos está situado en una de las plazas principales con el edificio de Iberdrola de frente y muy cerca del Museo Guggenheim. Después de tomar un desayuno exquisito con pastelería y bollería de alta calidad fuimos a dar un último paseo por la orilla del río antes de acudir al partido de fútbol. ¿Os gusta mi nueva mascota gigante? hehehe. Este “puppy” es la bonita mascota de la ciudad (un perrito gigante) y como veis se encuentra en la puerta del Museo y está exclusivamente elaborado con flores de colores y plantas, ¡a mi me encanta! Pero por otra parte me asusté con su compañera, esta araña gigante de metal… Por último reconozco que me enamoré de las vistas desde la orilla del río con esas casas de arquitectura elegante y desde mi opinión incluso de estilo colonial contrastando con el bonito color rojizo de las hojas de los árboles… huele a otoño!

Como el tiempo sabéis que nos acompañó todo el fin de semana simplemente me puse un jersey de lana verde de cuello vuelto, unos jeans negros, un sombrero y mis botas estilo cowboy.

Friday again… and I can’t say that I’m very happy because I’m still having problems with the new server blog, hopefully everything will be resolved soon.

I had the tea time of this week at the Carlton Hotel in Bilbao which actually is one of the most beautiful and emblematic hotels of the city. As you can see in the pictures is located in one of the main squares with the Iberdrola building in front and close to Guggenheim Museum. After taking a delicious and high quality pastry and bakery for breakfast we went for a last walk along the river before going to the football match. Do you like my new giant pet? hehehe. This “puppy” is the mascot of the city and as you can see in the pics is cute super big dog just at the door of the museum and is exclusively made with colorful flowers and plants, I love it! But then I got scared with her partner, the giant metal spider… Finally I do admit that I absolutely fell in love with the views from this side of the river with that elegant architecture of the houses and in my opinion even colonial style contrasting with the beautiful reddish color of the leaves on the trees… feels like Autumn!

As you know the weather where so well all the weekend so I just was wearing a turtleneck green wool sweater, my black ripped jeans, a hat and my cowboy style booties.

Coastal towns in Basques lands

¡Buenos y soleados días desde la capital!

Hoy os quiero seguir mostrando imágenes de los lugares que más me gustaron de mi reciente viaje por el Norte. Estas primeras imágenes corresponden al castillo de Butrón que es precioso castillo abandonado que además está a la venta actualmente (sólo cuesta 3,5 millones hehehe). Después y aprovechando el buen tiempo que nos hizo decidimos hacer una ruta por los pueblos costeros más bonitos como Bermeo, Mundaka, Pedernales, (dentro de la zona de Urdaibai), etc.

Como look escogí unos pantalones de cuero cortos, una camiseta con estampado de Bambi y mis slippers de camuflaje de nueva colección que me veréis mucho a partir de ahora porque sabéis que el calzado plano es mi mejor opción para el día a día.

Good and sunny days from the capital!

Today I want to continue showing you pictures of the places I liked most of my recent trip to the North of Spain. These first images are at Butron Castle which is a beautiful abandoned castle which actually is on sale (it only costs 3.5 million hehehe). After enjoying the lovely weather we decided to make a tour visiting the most beautiful coastal towns like Bermeo, Mundaka, Pedernales, (in Urdaibai natural area), etc.

As I wanted to go comfy and fresh I chose my black leather shorts, a shirt with Bambi print and my new camouflage slippers that you will see me wearing from me now because you know that flat shoes are my best option for the day a day.
