¡VIERNES!

Y os traigo el shooting con el outfit que tanto os gustó el otro día en mis redes sociales.

Este es el conjunto que escogí para los premios Mujer Hoy de belleza. Al ser un evento muy mañanero (empezaba a las 9:30h) me pareció la mejor opción ponerme unos pantalones abrigados para no pasar frío. Ya sabéis que el estilo midi (pantalones anchos por abajo a una altura entre el tobillo y la rodilla) está más de moda que nunca, y estos en color camel y de punto me encantaron en cuanto los vi. Como son de cuello alto me los puse con un crop top negro de canalé y manga larga y un cinturón de leopardo con detalles dorados en la cintura. El abrigo corto de pelo negro fue suficiente para luchar contra las bajas temperaturas de la mañana porque a medida que avanzaba el día el sol iba despertando y el calor entraba en el cuerpo. Un bolso negro con detalles dorados, un colgante también en oro con la M de Marta y mis tacones negros de ante con metal dorado detrás fueron mis complementos elegidos. Claramente el toque más moderno del estilismo lo conseguí con mis nuevas gafas modelo ‘So Real’ que no tienen montura en la nariz, ¡me encantan! ¿y a vosotros? Yo las he escogido en negro con montura plateada porque pienso que es el modelo que mejor combina con todo.

Que paséis buen fin de semana pero recordad que mañana os traigo un post muy especial de mi visita al Palacio Real de Aranjuez.

HEY FRIDAY!

And I show you today the shooting of the outfit that you liked so much this Wednesday on my social networks.

This is the look I chose for Mujer Hoy Beauty Awards. Being a morning event (it began at 9: 30h) I thought that the best option was to wear warm pants to keep myself warm. You know that the midi pants (pants whit height between the ankle and knee kind of) are more fashionable than ever, and these in camel color and knit fabric are so cool, I loved them from the first sight. As they are high waist I put on a ribbed black crop top with long sleeves and a leopard belt with gold details at the waist. The short fur black coat was enough to fight against the low temperatures in the morning because as the day was coming the sun was shinning and heated the complete body. A black bag with gold accents, a gold necklace with M from Martha and my black suede heels with gold metal behind were the complements I chose. Clearly the more modern touch of the style were my new glasses ‘So Real’ model which have no saddle nose, I love them! Don’t you? I’ve chosen the black with silver frame because I think that is the model that I can match better with almost everything on my closet.

Tea time with Sara Navarro

¡Buenos días!

Cómo me gusta volver a encontrarme con gente con la que encajas perfectamente y que sabes que además han estado ahí desde el principio confiando y apostando por ti… Es el caso de mi amiga y prestigiosa diseñadora Sara Navarro.

Esta semana he querido pasarme por su oficina para conocer un invento que estoy segura de que os va a dejar tan sorprendidas como a mi: el ‘porta-shoes‘. Sinceramente os digo (y eso que trabajo en el mundo de la moda) que no había visto hasta ahora un bolso en el que pudiésemos meter nuestros zapatos de una forma independiente a donde llevamos el resto de nuestras cosas pero además que no se note nada, ¡es increíble! Por eso en el vídeo de hoy Sara me cuenta cómo ha surgido esta idea y todo el trabajo y esfuerzo que tiene detrás, horas y horas de nuevos patrones hasta hacer un compartimento independiente en la parte de abajo de los bolsos y que además viene con una funda especial para meter los zapatos dentro de ella.

Y como no podía ser de otra manera aproveché mi visita para echar un ojo a la colección de invierno y escoger alguno de sus modelos para introducirlo en mi día a día, ¿qué os parecen estos botines dorados envejecidos que me veréis mucho a partir de ahora? Os recuerdo que su firma SarahWorld colabora con organizaciones de ayuda a las mujeres de países en vías de desarrollo que cosen y tejen estas lanas y pieles.

Morning world!

Don’t you know how much I like to meet again people that you match perfectly and you know that they have also been there from the very beggining trusting and investing on you… I say all this for my friend and prestigious designer Sara Navarro.

This week I had the opportunity to stop by her office to discover her new invention that I’m sure it will surprise you as much as me: the ‘porta-shoes’. Honestly I say (and I work in the fashion world) who had not yet seen a bag in which we could carry our shoes independently where we have the rest of our stuff but also not notice anything, it’s awesome! So in today’s video Sara tells me how this idea has become true and all the work and effort behind it, hours and hours of new patterns to make a separate compartment at the bottom of the bag and also comes with a special case to put inside her shoes.

And how it couldn’t be otherwise, I took advantage of my visit to have a look at her winter collection and pick one of her models to wear it and introduce it into my daily life, what do you think about these golden aged booties? I remind you that SarahWorld works with some organizations helping women in developing countries who sew and weave these wool and fur leathers.

The only way is maxi trench

Mitad de semana y yo sigo vistiendo con mi tendencia favorita para este invierno: las prendas oversize.

Hoy le ha tocado el turno a otra gabardina en color verde caqui combinada con unos pantalones rotos estilo boyfriend. Debajo opté por un jersey de lana de cuello vuelto en color verde pistacho clarito que es muy abrigado para esta época del año. Para dar un toque más elegante al look escogí mis nuevos tacones negros de ante con detalle dorado de metal en el tacón, ¿os gustan? Y el toque de color volví a conseguirlo con mi bolso rojo con tachuelas y cadena doradas a juego otra vez con el color de labios. Como siempre me puse varios anillos finitos con piedras y labios rojos.

Midweek and I’m wearing once again my favorite trend for this winter: oversized clothes.

Today it is time for another khaki green trench coat combined with my ripped jeans boyfriend style. I chose a wool sweater turtleneck in light green which is very warm for this time of the year. To give a more elegant touch to the look I chose my new black suede heels with gold metal details on the heel, do you like them? And the touch of color came again with my red shoulder bag with gold studs and chain matching with my lips. As always I was wearing some thin rings with stones and my red lips ring.

Now I’m going to Mujer Hoy Awards, I will tell you everything through my social networks (@itgirlmarta) and this night I’ll be attending a special party… so stay tuned!

My SkinCeuticals Diary: diagnosis

¡Buenos días!

Por fin puedo hablaros de una de las colaboraciones más especiales y que más me ha gustado en lo que a productos y tratamientos de belleza se refiere.

Ya sabéis que desde siempre presto una especial atención a los productos con los que cuido mi rostro porque es mi zona más “sensible” del cuerpo por los pequeños granitos y marcas que me salen… Y aunque bien es cierto que hay un componente hormonal importante que influye en esto también hay cremas que nos ayudan a combatirlos, sólo hay que saber escoger bien las más adecuadas para nuestro tipo de piel.

Por eso cuando me senté con el equipo de SkinCeuticals para probar un nuevo tratamiento integrado de láser junto con un programa diario y continuado con sus productos me pareció una idea muy buena y sobre todo de calidad, por eso acepté encantada.

Lo primero que os quiero comentar es que tengáis el tipo de piel que tengáis es muy importante que TODOS los días la cuidéis con productos buenos acordes a vuestras necesidades. Yo en particular utilizo desde siempre productos de farmacia para el cuidado de mi cara porque son los que más seguridad me dan y con los que mejores resultados he obtenido siempre. Es por esto que ahora con este tratamiento diario de SkinCeuticals me siento segura y se que es lo mejor que podría ponerme en la piel ya que es una de las firmas con mayor prestigio a nivel internacional y recomendada por los mejores especialistas, doctores y farmacéuticos además de ser líder en antioxidantes.

El láser que me he hecho en la cara se llama Emerge y lo que hace es penetrar en la piel, NO DESTRUIRLA O ABRASARLA como otros más agresivos, y va formando unas pequeñas columnas que desde dentro permiten una recuperación y renovación mucho más rápida de la piel generando colágeno y elastina. Está indicado especialmente para las arrugas y las pieles con rojetes y marcas de acné. Yo en temas tan delicados como este siempre busco la mayor excelencia profesional, no me pongo en manos de cualquiera, por eso escogí la clínica del prestigioso Doctor José Vicente Lajo.

Aunque ya lo veréis en los sucesivos vídeos y fotos yo desde la primera sesión ya he notado mi piel mucho más lisa y luminosa, fue increíble cuando me miré en el espejo nada más terminar el láser (dura unos 30-45 minutos) y me di cuenta de lo efectivo que había sido.

Como os he comentado antes este láser no es nada abrasivo ni peligroso justo porque penetra en la piel, no la elimina para que nos “pelemos” y salga otra capa nueva como se hace en otros tratamientos. Y gracias a los productos que me comenzaron a poner allí mismo de SkinCeuticals pude seguir con mi ritmo normal de trabajo y de hecho me fui a dos eventos donde muchos de vosotros me visteis y os lo conté en persona (mi trabajo como personal shopper en el Centro Comercial ABC de Serrano y luego la reunión de rewardStyle en Madrid).

Morning my friends!

At last I can tell you about one of my more special collaborations, which I liked most in terms of products and beauty treatments.

Tea Time: Carlton Hotel in Bilbao (&more…)

Viernes… y no lo digo muy contenta porque sigo teniendo problemas con el nuevo servidor del blog, espero que por fin se solucione todo pronto.

El tea time de esta semana lo tomé en el Hotel Carlton de Bilbao que es uno de los hoteles más bonitos y emblemáticos de la ciudad. Como podéis ver en las fotos está situado en una de las plazas principales con el edificio de Iberdrola de frente y muy cerca del Museo Guggenheim. Después de tomar un desayuno exquisito con pastelería y bollería de alta calidad fuimos a dar un último paseo por la orilla del río antes de acudir al partido de fútbol. ¿Os gusta mi nueva mascota gigante? hehehe. Este “puppy” es la bonita mascota de la ciudad (un perrito gigante) y como veis se encuentra en la puerta del Museo y está exclusivamente elaborado con flores de colores y plantas, ¡a mi me encanta! Pero por otra parte me asusté con su compañera, esta araña gigante de metal… Por último reconozco que me enamoré de las vistas desde la orilla del río con esas casas de arquitectura elegante y desde mi opinión incluso de estilo colonial contrastando con el bonito color rojizo de las hojas de los árboles… huele a otoño!

Como el tiempo sabéis que nos acompañó todo el fin de semana simplemente me puse un jersey de lana verde de cuello vuelto, unos jeans negros, un sombrero y mis botas estilo cowboy.

Friday again… and I can’t say that I’m very happy because I’m still having problems with the new server blog, hopefully everything will be resolved soon.

I had the tea time of this week at the Carlton Hotel in Bilbao which actually is one of the most beautiful and emblematic hotels of the city. As you can see in the pictures is located in one of the main squares with the Iberdrola building in front and close to Guggenheim Museum. After taking a delicious and high quality pastry and bakery for breakfast we went for a last walk along the river before going to the football match. Do you like my new giant pet? hehehe. This “puppy” is the mascot of the city and as you can see in the pics is cute super big dog just at the door of the museum and is exclusively made with colorful flowers and plants, I love it! But then I got scared with her partner, the giant metal spider… Finally I do admit that I absolutely fell in love with the views from this side of the river with that elegant architecture of the houses and in my opinion even colonial style contrasting with the beautiful reddish color of the leaves on the trees… feels like Autumn!

As you know the weather where so well all the weekend so I just was wearing a turtleneck green wool sweater, my black ripped jeans, a hat and my cowboy style booties.

Coastal towns in Basques lands

¡Buenos y soleados días desde la capital!

Hoy os quiero seguir mostrando imágenes de los lugares que más me gustaron de mi reciente viaje por el Norte. Estas primeras imágenes corresponden al castillo de Butrón que es precioso castillo abandonado que además está a la venta actualmente (sólo cuesta 3,5 millones hehehe). Después y aprovechando el buen tiempo que nos hizo decidimos hacer una ruta por los pueblos costeros más bonitos como Bermeo, Mundaka, Pedernales, (dentro de la zona de Urdaibai), etc.

Como look escogí unos pantalones de cuero cortos, una camiseta con estampado de Bambi y mis slippers de camuflaje de nueva colección que me veréis mucho a partir de ahora porque sabéis que el calzado plano es mi mejor opción para el día a día.

Good and sunny days from the capital!

Today I want to continue showing you pictures of the places I liked most of my recent trip to the North of Spain. These first images are at Butron Castle which is a beautiful abandoned castle which actually is on sale (it only costs 3.5 million hehehe). After enjoying the lovely weather we decided to make a tour visiting the most beautiful coastal towns like Bermeo, Mundaka, Pedernales, (in Urdaibai natural area), etc.

As I wanted to go comfy and fresh I chose my black leather shorts, a shirt with Bambi print and my new camouflage slippers that you will see me wearing from me now because you know that flat shoes are my best option for the day a day.

Hello November!

¡Bienvenido, Noviembre!

Día 4 de Noviembre y parece que ya llegan las verdaderas temperaturas otoñales en toda la Península y por supuesto también en Madrid. ¡Qué cambio tan brusco pasar de estar en camiseta y pantalón corto en el Norte de España a sacar jerseys y abrigos en Madrid!

Desde que os enseñé estas zapatillas que he diseñado yo misma desde cero y que llevan mi nombre en las lengüetas (it girl marta) he pensado varios looks para combinarlas y la final este ha resultado el primer ganador. Para día de frío siempre solemos tender a colores oscuros y neutros. Por eso he optado por un jersey de cuello vuelto gris (que siempre estoy con la garganta delicada) y unos jeans en gris oscuro como prendas básicas y simples para resaltar el colorido de las zapatillas. El toque más elegante viene de la mano de mi nuevo abrigo negro con doble botonadura que espero que os guste porque me lo vais a ver mucho. Es de la firma Nouvelle Epoque donde siempre encuentro prendas exclusivas que no hay en otras tiendas y además al mejor precio. Tampoco es necesario sacar todavía abrigos gordos y botas de pelo, por lo que estos abrigos de estilo chaqueta y las gabardinas me parecen una buena alternativa para comenzar el otoño. Un maxi bolso y un sombrero fueron mis únicos complementos.

Welcome November!

November, 4th, and it seems that autumn temperatures are already here in Spain and of course in Madrid. What a quick change to go from being in shirt and shorts in the North of Spain and now wearing sweaters and coats in Madrid!

Since I received these colorful sneakers that I designed by myself from scratch and they have my name in tongues (it girl marta) I have thought in many looks to combine them and this was the final result for the first winner look. For cold days I usually tend to choose dark and neutral colors. So I opted for a gray turtleneck (I have always delicate throat) and dark gray jeans as basic and simple clothes to highlight the colorful sneakers. The most elegant touch comes from the hand of my new black coat with double breasted that I hope you like it as much as me because I’m going to wear it so much. It is form Nouvelle Epoque where I always find unique items that are not in other stores and also at the best price. I don’t really want to wear coats and wool oversize sweaters every day so these style jacket coats and trench seems to be a good choice to start the fall. A maxi bag and a hat were my only accessories.

Plentzia, Bizkaia

Menudo lunes… Después de haberme tirado las 3 primeras horas del día en la tienda de Apple de la puerta del Sol con un problema en mi ordenador ya por fin puedo publicar el post de hoy… pero bueno, más vale tarde que nunca.

Como ya sabéis la mayoría este fin de semana lo he pasado por el norte, más concretamente en País Vasco descubriendo la infinidad de pueblos y lugares preciosos de montaña que no había tenido la oportunidad de visitar hasta ahora. El primer día dormimos en Plentzia, un pequeño pueblo costero que es donde tomé estas fotos. Como a mi me gusta dormir poco nos levantamos pronto y nos fuimos de excursión mañanera hasta El Faro y una pequeña montaña para disfrutar de mejores vistas.

Hemos tenido mucha suerte ya que las temperaturas se han mantenido altas y el cielo despejado hasta ayer, así que para este paseo escogí una chaqueta larga de lana beige, una camiseta básica negra, unos vaqueros ajustados y mis nuevas botas camperas que me tienen enamorada, ¡me las pongo para cualquier ocasión! ¿Os gustan a vosotros?

Espero que vuestro lunes esté siendo más llevadero que el mío y nos vemos mañana con un look ya invernal en la capital.

What a Monday I’m having… After I spent the first 3 hours of the morningg in the Apple store at Puerta del Sol in Madrid with a problem on my computer and I can finally publish today’s post… but hey, better late than ever, don’t you think so?

As many of you know I have spent this last weekend in the north of Spain, specifically in País Vasco discovering the countless villages and beautiful mountain areas that I had not the opportunity to visit them before. The first day we slept in Plentzia, a small coast town which is where I took all these pictures. As I like to sleep few hours to can do more things in my days we wake up early and we went to stroll around until the lighthouse and a small mountain to enjoy better views.

We have been very lucky because temperatures have remained high and the sky cleared up until yesterday, so for this morning walk I chose a long beige wool jacket, a black basic tee, skinny ripped jeans and my new cowboy boots with my love, I wear them for any occasion! Do you like them?

My beauty center in Madrid

Nuevo día donde me vuelvo a despertar en Plentzia, ¡qué bonito es despertarse mirando a su puerto con tantos barcos y a su preciosa bahía!

Como os comenté ayer me habéis preguntado muchas veces que dónde me arreglo el pelo y qué tratamientos me hago. Pues hoy os enseño el centro donde cuido mi cabello y donde me maquillan cuando tengo algún evento más importante estos dos súper profesionales Anabel y John, de Gornés y Osorio. No sólo son expertos en belleza sino que además utilizan los mejores productos para cuidar nuestro pelo traídos directamente desde Brasil. Además de todo esto ya tienen una conocida reputación porque muchas celebrities como Carmen Lomana se han puesto en sus manos en más de una ocasión.

A mi me hicieron un tratamiento de brillo y nutrición para el pelo la semana pasada y todavía lo sigo teniendo muy suave y cuidado, se nota nada más verlo. Para ello trajeron a los mejores especialistas directamente desde Brasil.

Another day where we wake up again in Plentzia, how nice it is to wake up looking at its port with so many different boats and its beautiful bay!

As I mentioned yesterday, you have asked me many times where I get my hair done and what treatments I use to do. Well today I show you the center where I take care for my hair and where they makeup me when I have some more important event: Gornés & Osorio, owned by these two professional babes Anabel and John. But they are not only experts in beauty they also use the best products to take care of our hair imported directly from Brazil. In addition to this they already have known reputation because many celebrities like my friend Carmen Lomana has gone there in more than one occasion.

¡Buenos días desde Plentzia, un pueblo pesquero dentro de la provincia de Bizkaia!

Estoy segura de que muchos de vosotros ya habéis visto esta mañana en mis redes sociales el vídeo del madrugón que nos hemos pegado (a las 7 de la mañana ya estábamos en el puerto de Plentzia) para dar un paseo matutino llegando hasta el faro de Gorliz (Aztondo). Pero os contaré todos los detalles la semana que viene.

Hoy quiero inaugurar una nueva sección en mi blog que he querido titular “Tea Time” (o lo que es lo mismo “la hora del té”) donde cada viernes intentaré enseñaros los sitios que más me gustan para ir a tomar un café o té con amigos, familia, pareja, … tanto de Madrid como de todas las ciudades que visite. ¡Espero que os guste la idea! A mi me parece doblemente buena porque aparte de enseñaros mi look puedo mostraros lugares realmente bonitos que algunos conoceréis pero quizá otros no.

He querido empezar por estos salones en el centro del Hotel The Westing Palace de Madrid ya que desde que empecé con el blog la directora, Paloma, me ha tratado siempre con mucho cariño y me ha ayudado siempre que lo he necesitado y es sin lugar a dudas uno de los mejores hoteles de la capital, aunque para mi probablemente el mejor.

Para un momento de confidencias con amigos, familia, tu pareja, o incluso un meeting o reunión donde lo importante es ponerse al día mientras se toma un café he escogido un estilismo sencillo y muy matutino acorde con la hora del día. Llevo una camisa beige con flores bordadas, unos shorts de cuero negros con lazo en la cintura, mis bailarinas bicolor y un maxi bolso para llevar mi agenda y cuadernos ya que muchas veces estos momentos se acaban convirtiendo en reuniones de trabajo.

¡Un beso y a disfrutar del finde! (Nos os perdáis mañana un post especial sobre mi centro de belleza favorito de Madrid donde cuido mi cabello, que ya me lo habéis preguntado en muchas ocasiones).

Good morning from Plentzia, a fishing village in the province of Bizkaia!

I’m sure many of you have seen this morning on my social networks the video I’ve shared of the early morning when we woke up (at 7 am and we were at Plentzia’s port) for a morning walk arriving to Gorliz’s lighthouse (Aztondo). But I will tell you all the details on next week post.

Today I want to introduce you a new section on my blog and I wanted to headline “Tea Time” where every Friday I will try to show you the places where I like to go for a coffee or a tea with my friends, family, my couple… in Madrid and in all the cities I will visit. Hope you like the idea! It seems to me twice as good because aside from showing you my look I can show you some really nice places that you could know but maybe others that you don’t.

I wanted to start with this beautiful coffee place in the center of The Westing Palace Hotel in Madrid because since I started the blog the director, Paloma, has always treated me great and she has always helped me with everything that I needed and is without doubt one of the best hotels in the capital, but for me probably the best.

For a time of confidences with friends, family, your partner, or even a meeting where the main idea is catching up while tasting a coffee I have chosen a simple and very fresh style according to the early time of day. I was wearing a beige shirt with embroidered flowers, a black leather shorts with bow at the waist, my color blocked flats and a maxi bag to carry my schedule and notebook for those work meetings.
