¡Buenos días y arrancamos la semana con mucha energía!

Después de la semana pasada llena de nuevos proyectos y grabaciones, esta promete ser parecida. Ahora me voy a un shooting muy especial para una nueva campaña con una marca que me encanta y os enseñaré un pequeño adelanto en mi Stories, ¡deseadme suerte! Y mañana viajaré a París para la Fashion Week, estoy deseando llegar y enseñaros los looks que he escogido para esta semana. Ya sabéis que para las semanas de la moda se viste siempre de una forma mucho más atrevida y extravagante… así que no os asustéis… haha. Además estoy deseando reunirme con varios amigos allí que hace tiempo que no veo.

¿Qué opináis de la tendencia de salir a la calle con camisas estilo pijama? A mí esta me encantó porque combina mis dos colores favoritos a la hora de vestir, blanco y negro, y además es en un tejido sedoso muy cómodo y fresco. La combiné con shorts negros debajo y mis tacones negros con tachuelas plateadas, por eso escogí también accesorios en negro y plateado.

Beverly Hills es de las zonas más conocidas de los Angeles ya que es donde se encuentran las mansiones más grandes y donde viven muchas de las celebrities más reconocidas a nivel internacional. Hay una tienda de decoración en frente de Urth Café, uno de mis cafés favoritos de LA, que tiene unas vistas preciosas en la azotea a estas colinas. Y no fue tan fácil como parece ponerse en medio de esta carretera tan concurrida para hacer estas fotos… ¡pero lo conseguí!

Y las primeras fotos las hice muy cerca, en Rodeo Drive, que es la calle más conocida de tiendas de lujo.

Good morning and let’s start a new week with a lot of energy and good vibes!

After my last week full of new projects and filming, this new one promises to be similar. I’m going right now to a very special shooting for a new campaign with a brand that I love and I’ll show you a little preview on my Stories, wish me luck! And tomorrow I will travel to Paris for the Fashion Week, I am looking forward to show you the looks that I have chosen for this week. You know that for the fashion week people always dress so much more daring and extravagant… a little bit of freak maybe too… haha. I also look forward to meet some friends that will be there and that I have not seen since many months ago.

What do you think about pijama’s shirts trend? I loved this one because it combines my two favorite colors when dressing: black and white, and it’s also in a very comfortable and cool silky fabric. I combined it with black shorts underneath and my black heels with silver studs, so I also chose black and silver accessories.

Beverly Hills is one of the best known areas of Los Angeles as it is where the biggest and coolest mansions are located and where many of the most internationally renowned celebrities live. There is a deco shop just in front of Urth Cafe, one of my favorite LA cafes, which has a lovely rooftop with amazing views to these hills. And it was not as easy as it seems to get into the middle of this busy road to make these photos… but I got it!

And I took this first pics at Rodeo Drive, the street full of luxury stores.

London meetings

¡Buenos días familia!

Viernes de nuevo y yo todavía seguiré por Londres hasta el lunes por la noche.

He venido esta semana a Londres para asistir a varios eventos y reuniones con marcas con las que llevo colaborando bastante tiempo como Asos, rewardStyle o LK Bennett, y la verdad es que han ido genial.

Además he tenido bastante suerte porque no está haciendo mucho frío e incluso tenemos momentos de cielo azul, ¡esto en Londres es todo un lujo!

Se que estáis deseando saber qué es lo que me pasó ayer en Chanel y con las tarjetas… Empiezo. Hacía unos meses que quería un bolso de Chanel de nueva colección y que había ahorrado para comprármelo ahora en Navidad y aquí en Londres ya que en Madrid no lo tenían. Con mi mayor sonrisa me planté ayer en la tienda que tiene la firma en la calle New Bond Street y ¡allí estaba! Yo feliz de la vida y mientras esperaba a que llegase mi amiga Bea me dispuse a ir pagando… y cual fue mi sorpresa cuando al intentarlo ninguna de mis tarjetas pasaban. Todas salían rechazadas. Todas. Algo que evidentemente no era posible porque además había ahorrado el dinero específicamente para este bolso… Entonces la señora que me estaba cobrando, con su perfecto acento inglés pensó que yo era una cría y que evidentemente no tenía dinero para pagar un bolso como ese, y con no muy buenas maneras me dirigió a una mesa en una sala, sola, para que intentase contactar con mi banco… me sentí bastante triste. Sobre todo porque una vez más no debemos prejuzgar a nadie nunca ya que las cosas muchas veces no son lo que parecen. Bastante decepcionada y desilusionada llamé a mi banco en España, desde Londres, durante más de 10 minutos sin obtener respuesta… Finalmente antes de irme y dar todo por perdido, y ya con mi amiga Bea, decidí probar una vez más mis tarjetas pero pidiendo por favor que me atendiese otra señora más educada y sinceramente, más humana. Obviamente mi tarjeta fue aceptada esta vez y me fui tan “contenta” a seguir mi tarde de shopping navideña que tanto tiempo había estado esperando.

Os cuento esto porque siempre me gusta compartir con vosotros todo lo que me pasa y me habéis preguntado muchos por este incidente.

La moraleja es que por favor no dejemos que nuestros prejuicios sociales por la apariencia de alguien, su edad, su color de piel, su forma de hablar o de vestir… nublen lo que en realidad se esconde detrás de todo eso que es una persona real con sentimientos reales. Porque podemos equivocarnos mucho y sobre todo perdernos a buena gente si actuamos así.

Os dejo con el look que llevé a mis reuniones el primer día en Londres. Sencillo pero elegante. Un jersey de cashmere blanco con pantalones de cuadros y mis zapatos de terciopelo con tachuelas. Me gusta cómo combinan el rojo del a suela con el rojo del bolso.

Good morning family!

Friday again and I will still be here in London until Monday night.

I came to London this week to attend some important events and meetings here with brands that I have been collaborating with for a long time like Asos, rewardStyle or LK Bennett, and the truth is that they have gone great. I’m very happy for that.

Besides, I’ve been lucky because it’s not too cold these days here and we even have had blue skies, this is amazing in London!

I know that you are waiting to know what happened to me yesterday at Chanel store and with my credit cards… Let’s start explaining. I had wanted a new Chanel bag from the new collection since some months ago and I had saved my money to buy it now at Christmas time here in London since in Madrid they did not have it. With my biggest smile I came to the store that the brand has in New Bond Street yesterday afternoon, and there it was! I was very happy and excited and while I waited for my friend Bea to arrive, I decided to pay… and what was my surprise when trying with all my credit cards, all of them were declined. All of them. Unbelievable. Something that obviously was not possible because I had saved the money specially for this bag… Then the woman who was charging me, with her perfect English accent thought I was just a girl and obviously I did not have enough money to pay a bag like that, so with not very good manners she took me to a table in another room, alone, to try to contact my bank… I felt quite sad. Especially because once again we must not prejudge anyone ever since things are often not what they seem. Quite disappointed I called my bank in Spain, from London, for more than 10 minutes without getting any reply… Finally before I left the store and give everything for lost, and already with my friend Bea, I decided to try my cards one more time, just in case, but asking to be attended by another lady who was more polite and sincerely, more humane with me. Obviously my card was accepted this time and I was so “happy” to continue with my Christmas shopping afternoon that I had been waiting for so long.

I tell you this because I always like to share with you everything that happens to me and many of you you have asked me about this incident.

The moral is that please do not let our social prejudices by the appearance of someone, their age, their skin color, their way of speaking or dressing… cloud what really matters which is a real person with real feelings behind. Because we can make a lot of mistakes then and, above all, we can lose really good people on our way… think about it.

I leave you now with the look I was wearing for my meetings the first day here in London. Simple but elegant. A white cashmere sweater with plaid pants and my velvet studded heels. I like how they combine the red soles with the red of the leather clutch.

Parece mentira pero si… ya estamos en Mayo, ¡el tiempo vuela!

Parece que fue ayer cuando estaba en Tailandia disfrutando de mi 30 cumpleaños y de pronto ya estoy preparando la maleta para irme a otro súper viaje a América Latina el próximo Lunes…

De todo esto saco dos conclusiones importantes. La primera es justo con la que he comenzado este post: el tiempo vuela. La vida se pasa volando y creo que estos años son los más importantes en todos los sentidos de mi vida. Tanto laboral como profesionalmente son en los que más activa voy a estar así que no quiero perderme nada: a ni una persona, lugar o momento que puedan hacerme crecer como persona. La segunda conclusión, enlazada a esto último, es que pienso que lo más importante es llegar al final de nuestra vida, cuando nos toque, con la conciencia tranquila. Es importante saber disfrutar de todos los momentos, y como os digo siempre, aprender de los errores y quedarnos con lo bueno, pero siempre respetando y sin hacer daño a nadie.

Tengo la “suerte” de que cada vez esta familia mía, #MartaCarriedoFamily, va creciendo más y más cada día, y no somos pocos no… por eso me veo responsable cada día de todo lo que os cuento y transmito, tanto por aquí como por mi canal o mis redes sociales. Me encanta cuando me escribís mensajes felicitándome o con sugerencias, y también cuando me escriben mamás y papás directamente. Os he dicho mil veces que prefiero que vayamos creciendo poco a poco pero siempre con alegría, con una sonrisa en la cara, e intentando sacar la parte buena y positiva de todo… Porque de lo contrario un día dentro de no tantos años nos levantaremos y nos daremos cuenta de que no hemos hecho nada que nos haga felices, que no hemos disfrutado de las cosas, que hemos pasado por la vida sin pena ni gloria… y en ese momento ya no podremos hacer nada para remediarlo. Aún estamos a tiempo de seguir creando y persiguiendo nuestros sueños chicos, y hay mil experiencias y personas increíbles esperándonos ahí fuera. Centrémonos en lo bueno y positivo y vayamos a por todas siempre, con todo.

It seems incredible but… we are already in May ,time flies!

It seems like yesterday when I was in Thailand enjoying my 30th birthday and suddenly I’m packing again and getting ready to enjoy another super trip to Latin America next Monday…

From all this I get two important conclusions. The first one is just which I started this post: time flies. Life flies and I believe that these years are the most important in every sense of my life. For both, my work and my personal life, these years I will be more active so I do not want to miss anything: not a person, place or moment that can make me grow as a person. The second conclusion, related to the last sentence, is that I think the most important thing is to reach the end of our life with a clear conscience. It is important to enjoy every moment of course, and as I always say, to learn from mistakes and keep the good things and people, but always respecting others, please.

I’m very proud and lucky because these family, my family, #MartaCarriedoFamily, grows more and more every day, and we are already a few hundred thousands… so I am every day responsible for every story and comment that I share with you, here or my social networks and tv channel. I love it when you write me messages with suggestions or congratulations, and also when moms and dads write me directly too. I have said a thousand times and I repeat it now that I prefer that we grow up slowly but always happy and with a smile on our face, trying to keep the good and positive part of it all… Because otherwise one day, not too many years from now, we will wake up and we will realize that we haven’t been happy at all, that we haven’t enjoyed the things that have gone through our life… and at that point we can no longer do anything about it. We are still in time to continue creating and pursuing our dreams guys, and there are a thousand experiences and amazing people out there waiting for us. Let’s focus on the good and positive things always and go for it.

¡¡Pero si parezco una novia!!

Eso fue lo primero que pensé cuando me vi con este vestido…

Me gusta llevar vestidos blancos, es verdad, sobre todo cuando estoy morenita como ahora que aún mantengo el color que he cogido en Tailandia. Pero no me había puesto uno largo y de seda, tan elegante como este, de ahí la impresión que me dio verme con él porque parecía el día de mi boda hahaha.

Sinceramente nunca me he parado a pensar cómo será mi vestido para el día más importante de mi vida, yo cuando veo algunos que me gustan tomo nota, pero no tengo una idea clara. Lo que sí que se es que me gustan las líneas sencillas, los cortes clásicos y sobre todo un elegante escote de espalda como este. Un día más reivindico desde aquí que apostemos más por los escotes de espalda ya que son igual o más elegantes que uno delantero, mejor insinuar que enseñar.

Esta Primavera la nueva colección de Intropia apuesta precisamente por esto: vestidos cortos y largos con movimiento, con cortes sencillos, con escotes de espalda, también con tirantes o manga larga, con tejidos desde el hilo a la fina seda,… hay mil opciones para todos los gustos pero todas basadas en una propuesta renovada y, desde mi punto de vista, muy elegante.

Estas fotos tan especiales las hice en un lugar igual de especial: el jardín del exclusivo Hotel Orfila de Madrid que es de mis hoteles favoritos en Madrid. Os recomiendo ir a visitarlo aunque sea para tomar el té.

Y aquí me hallo en el AVE, 7am, viajando a Girona para realizar una entrevista muy especial que creo que os va a gustar en todos los sentidos… Os contaré todo la semana que viene.

‘OMG, I look like a bride!’.

That’s the first thing I thought when I saw this pics…

I like to wear white dresses, it is true, especially when I’m tanned and now even more because I still keep the color that I get in Thailand. But wearing such a long silk long sleeve dress, as elegant as this one, it seemed to me like if I was about to live my wedding day hahaha.

Honestly I’ve never stopped to think about how will be my wedding dress, the dress for the most important day of my life. When I see some of them I like them, but I still don’t have a clear idea. What I do know is that I like simple lines, classic cuts and especially elegant neckline back like this one. One more day I ask you to wear more back necklines as they are equally or more elegant than on front, it is always better to insinuate than to show.

This Spring new collection from Intropia is precisely based on this: short and long dresses with movement, with simple cuts, necklines back, also with straps or long sleeves, since cotton to fine silk fabrics… there are a thousand options for all of us but all based on a renewed proposal and, from my point of view, very elegant.

For these special shooting I chose another special place: these cure backyard inside one of the most exclusives and fav hotels of Madrid. Hotel Orfila. I recommend you to visit it at least to have a tea.

And here I am in the train again, 7am, traveling to Girona for a very special interview that I think you’ll like it in every way… I will tell you all the details next week.

NYFW, day 1

Día 1 de la semana de la moda de Nueva York.

Viniendo de Madrid donde puedo salir, al menos yo, tranquilamente con tacones y zapatillas sin calcetines a la calle, la verdad es que me “emocioné” al hacer la maleta. Me pasó lo mismo el año pasado.

Este año como os dije, y más concretamente estos días, se está viviendo en Nueva York la ola de frío más fría desde el año 1.947. Se me congela todo el cuerpo pero de verdad que ha habido momentos en los que no sentía los dedos de las manos y los pies, ¡pensaba realmente que me los iban a cortar!

El caso es que estas fotos que hice con mi amiga Bea el primer día fueron con un top de pedrería semitransparente que quería enseñaros desde que me lo compré. Al llevar detalles en negro y azul lo combiné con unos jeans vaqueros estilo boyfriend y un abrigo negro. Me he traído pocos tacones para estos días pero unos que no podían faltar son estos tricolor ya que los puedo combinar con ropa y complementos en negro, blanco y rojo.

El viernes por la tarde tuvimos el desfile de Nika Tang. Después volvimos al hotel a cambiarnos y fuimos a cenar a uno de los restaurantes más conocidos de la ciudad: café Clover. Por último nos dirigimos a la fiesta que la firma Calvin Klein organizó en Brooklyn con modelos, directores de prensa, bloggers, etc. Yo no soy muy fiestera y como estamos durmiendo muy poco estos días porque no paramos literalmente en todo el día pues nos fuimos más o menos pronto de vuelta al hotel.

Mañana os contaré mi segundo día en NYFW.

Day 1 of New York Fashion Week.

Coming from Madrid, where I can perfectly wear with heels and sneakers without socks in my day a day, the truth is that I got too “excited” packing… It happened the same to me last year.

This year, as I said, specifically these days, New York is living the coldest cold wave since 1.947. I freeze my whole body and really there’s been some moments when I didn’t feel my fingers and toes, I really thought they were going to cut them off!

The fact is that these pictures I took with my friend Bea for the first fashion shows we had were around our hotel area. I wanted to show you this cool embroiled top since I bought it.Having all these details in black and blue I decided to combine it with boyfriend style jeans and a black fur coat. I brought a few heels for these days but one that I could not miss are these tricolor ones because I can combine them with clothes and accessories in black, white and red.

On Friday afternoon we had Nika Tang fashion show. Then we returned back to the hotel to change our clothes for the night and we went to have dinner at one of the most popular restaurants of the city: Café Clover. Finally we went to the party that the top brand Calvin Klein organized in Brooklyn, plenty of models, press directors, bloggers, etc. I’m not so much party girl you know so as we are sleeping very little hours these days because literally we do not stop all day we decided to come back to the hotel soon.

Tomorrow I will tell you my second day in NYFW.

B&W Friday

Pues de nuevo Viernes… y mi último en Madrid ya que los dos siguientes los pasaré en Nueva York. ¡Qué ganas tengo de llegar para contaros todo lo que voy a hacer por allí!

Para que no os quejéis de que sólo comparto looks con zapatillas… os traigo un con tacones hehe. Lo he adaptado un poco a mi estilo diario, pero podéis cambiar el pantalón de cuero por uno negro básico tipo jean o tipo traje, según las normas de vuestra oficina, y conseguiréis un resultado muy parecido. No siempre es necesario llevar camisas o blazers. Con una camiseta básica como esta negra y una chaqueta por encima en este caso de lana blanca también podemos conseguir un estilismo arreglado para ir a trabajar. El bolso es de mis favoritos de este año porque es de un tamaño más grande del que yo suelo llevar, por eso lo utilizo mucho cuando viajo o en días que tengo varias reuniones y tengo que llevar papeles o agenda. Como soy adicta a los sombreros porque pienso que favorecen mucho cualquier cara por eso he escogido este tipo cow boy pero evidentemente mejor llevar una diadema o una coleta si vais a la ofi.

Y para variar un poco en mi vida me espera otro finde de trabajo bastante completito, con divertidas colaboraciones que veréis la semana que viene. Pero ya sabéis que este ritmo non-stop es lo que me gusta y que esto más que acostumbrada, así que ¡a por todas!

Nos vemos el lunes aunque el Sábado o Domingo tendréis nuevo vídeo en mi canal donde respondo a vuestras últimas preguntas, así que ¡estad atentos!

So Friday again… and my last one in Madrid because for the next two weeks I will be in New York. I can not wait to arrive there and tell you all the details of what I’m going to do!

As some of you told me that I only share looks with sneakers… I show you today one with heels hehe. I have adapted to my daily style, but you can change the leather pants for a basic black suit kinda pant, according to the dress code of your office, and you will get a similar final result. It is not always necessary to wear shirts or blazers. With a basic black shirt like this one and wool jacket over like me we can also go very stylish to go to work. The bag is one of my favourites from this year because it is a bigger size than I use to wear, so I use it a lot when traveling or some days that I have many meetings and I need to carry papers or my agenda. As I’m addicted to hats because I personally think they change completely a face, I have chosen this cow boy style but obviously it is better to wear headband or a ponytail if you go to the office.

And one more weekend I will be working like 24/7 on many fun and exciting collaborations that you will see next week and very soon. But you know that I really like and enjoy this kind of non-stop life, so let’s do this!

New natural lipsticks

Reconozco que soy adicta a muchas cosas: a los bolsos, a los zapatos, a la ropa en general si. También al maquillaje: a una buena base, máscara de pestañas, correctores… pero sobre todo antes de salir de casa busco siempre encontrar una barra de labios que me guste tanto en color como en hidratación y resultado en mi labio, y eso ya es más complicado.

Os he enseñado en varios de mis vídeos de belleza todas las que tengo, pero al final lo que más hidrata un labio es una barra de cacao. ¿Cual es el problema de estas barras? Que hasta hoy nos dejaban los labios blancos y sin color, por lo que muchas evitábamos usarlas. Pero por fin gracias a Liposan he descubierto los nuevos tonos de barras que mezclan la hidratación de una barra de cacao con un toque de color, según nuestra personalidad o según a dónde vayamos en cada momento. El color nude es el que más uso yo a diario pero el rosado y el rojo también me los llevo ahora para salir de fiesta o a un evento más especial. El resultado es un labio hidratado, brillante y con un ligero toque de color pero que hace que quede muy natural, ¡a mi me encantan y ya las llevo en mi bolso a diario! Además lo mejor de todo es que no cuestan como una barra de labios normal, sino que son mucho más baratas.

Os dejo con el vídeo donde os cuento un poco más en detalle todo y el look como veis lo escogí a juego con la barra que llevaba ese día, todo en nude.

I do admit it that I’m addicted to many things: handbags, shoes, and yeah, clothes in general. Also makeup: a good foundation, mascara, illuminator… but especially before leaving home I always try to find a lipstick that I like for both: the color and the hydrating results on my lips, and that already is more complicated.

I have shown you in many of my beauty tutorial videos all the lipsticks that I have, but in the end what is more moisturising is an hydrating lipstick. What is the problem with these ones? That until now they were white, like transparent, colourless, so many of us avoid using them. But finally I have discovered, thanks to Liposan, these new tones mixing hydrating with a touch of color, according to our personality or according to the event that we have. The nude color is the one that I’m using today but pink and red are also a must for me when going to a party or to a special event. The result is a hydrated, shining and with a touch of color lips, but always with a very natural effect, because of this I love them and I carry always one in my bag every day! In addition to all these properties the best of all is that the price is much cheaper than the price of a normal lipstick, so what else?

Hola chicos…

Lunes, y menudo fin de semana que he pasado.

Por fin tengo un momento para contaros mi historia y mis sentimientos pero antes quiero agradeceros a todos tantos mensajes bonitos de apoyo, de verdad que no digo de broma que sois los mejores seguidores del mundo, porque sí que lo sois y yo os adoro a todos. Me encanta que en mis redes sociales ‘en general’ se respire el respeto. Todos damos nuestra opinión a veces a favor y a veces en contra pero siempre basada en el respeto. Esto es lo que quería conseguir desde el primer momento y estoy orgullosa de haberlo conseguido hasta ahora.

Ya sabréis la mayoría que este sábado por la noche falleció mi abuela paterna. Era el último abuelo que me quedaba con vida y la verdad es que ha sido un golpe duro para todos porque ella estaba bien así que no nos los esperábamos. Es cierto que esto es ley de vida, pero al final aunque las mamis son mamis… las abuelas son abuelas. Las madre siempre tienden a proteger mucho a sus hijos, su mayor tesoro, pero las abuelas van más allá y protegen a todos a la vez, a toda su familia como si fuesen polluelos. Y mi abuela era de estas: nos tenía a todos controlados, sabía perfectamente qué hacíamos en cada momento y nosotros la adorábamos a ella.

Como bien sabéis mi familia es muy cristiana así que aunque el dolor y las lágrimas son inevitables, sabemos que ya está en paz con mi abuelo, su familia y que algún día nos volveremos a encontrar todos en la vida ‘bonita’. Como dije en mi foto de Instagram esta vida llena de dolor, sufrimiento, guerras, hambre, muertes… es un mero trámite o prueba hacia la vida que nos espera para siempre.

Evidentemente tomé estas fotos antes de que pasara esto por eso le quiero dedicar este post a mi abuela ya que era mi fiel seguidora en todo: en las redes sociales siempre preguntando a mi familia que le enseñasen mis fotos, en los periódicos y revistas siempre que salía, en la tele cada noche a las 23:30h… Y ella me llamaba por las noches para decirme lo bien que lo hacía y lo orgullosa que estaba de mi. Me decía que no cambiase nunca esa alegría e inocencia que tengo y eso es exactamente lo que pienso hacer, ser yo misma siempre.

Una vez más os agradezco tanto cariño y amor en este momento y os mando muchos besos a todos.

Hi guys…

Monday again, but not really a good one for my family and me

Finally I have a moment to tell you my story and my feelings but first of all I want to thank you all for your beautiful messages of support, I’m serious, you are the best fans in the world because I can see it every and I love you all. I like so much that in my social networks overall there is respect. All of us give our opinion, sometimes favor and sometimes we disagree each other, but always based on respect. This is what I wanted to achieve from the very beginning and I am very proud to have achieved it until now.

You would know that this last Saturday night my grandma died. It was the last grandfather I had alive and the truth is that it was a hard moment for all because she was fine so we were not expecting this situation. Of course I know that this is life, but in the end we all know that moms are moms but grandmas are grandmas. A mother always tends to protect their children so much, their greatest treasure, but grandmothers go further and protect all the family: children, grandchildren, etc. as if they were chicks. And my grandmother was of this kind: she had all under control, he knew what we were doing at all times and we really loved her.

As you know my family is very catholic so although the pain and tears are inevitable, we know he is resting in peace now with my grandfather and her family and one day we will meet her again in the next beautiful life. As I said on my Instagram photo this life of pain, suffering, war, famine, death… it is a simple way or proof to the life that awaits us forever.

Obviously I took today’s pictures before this happened that’s why I want to dedicate this post to my grandmother as she was my faithful follower in everything: on the medias always asking my family to show her my pictures, on newspapers and magazines whenever I’ve been featured there, on TV every night at 23: 30h… And then she called me at night to tell me how well I did my work and how proud he was of me. She told me to never change that smile and innocence personality that I have and that’s exactly what I’m gonna do, just be myself always.

Once again I thank you so much for all your love guys, and I send you many kisses.

There’s a shade of red for every woman

‘Hay un tono de rojo para cada mujer’, frase de nuestra querida Audrey Hepburn, y una de mis actrices favoritas.

Es verdad que no soy una mujer de llevar colores llamativos. No me gusta porque sabéis que estoy reduciendo mi armario a colores y prendas básicas porque pienso que menos es más, pero añadir un toque de color a nuestros estilismos de vez en cuando y más con un rojo tan vivo como el de esta blazer, nunca vienen mal. Me gusta porque es una chaqueta muy sencilla pero con detalles que la hacen única: tiene cuello mao, detalles en terciopelo azul marino y botones de piel marrón. Yo la combiné con un jersey de cuello vuelto blanco, unos jeans ajustados y mis tacones tricolor a juego con el tono de la chaqueta.

Por fin los jueves y viernes son los días que más tengo para mi y para mis cosas ya que son los días que no trabajo en la tele. Así que ahora mismo estoy apunto de comenzar mi clase de guitarra que es una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer como hobbies y actividad fuera de mi trabajo. Esta tarde además iré a ver la película de “Palmeras en la nieve”, no se si la habéis visto alguno y me podéis decir qué os ha parecido, pero yo tengo muchas ganas de verla.

Además tengo una sorpresa muuuy chula para vosotros, dentro de unas semanas, que se que os va a encantar y a mí mucho más, ¡estoy muy contenta! En cuanto pueda os iré contando más cosas…

It is true that I am not a woman that likes to wear bright colors. I don’t like it because you know that I’m reducing my wardrobe to basic colors and clothes because I think that less is more, but adding a touch of color to our outfits sometimes and even more with a light red like the color of this blazer, it is always a good option. I like it because it’s a very simple jacket but with details that make it unique: it has mao collar, details in dark blue velvet and brown leather buttons. I combined it with a simple white turtleneck sweater, my skinny jeans and tricolor heels matching the tone of the jacket.

And you know that Thursday and Friday are the days that I have more time for me and my things as they are days that I do not have to work on TV. So right now I’m about to start my guitar class that is one of the things that I like to do as hobbies and activities no related with work. This evening I will also go watch the Spanish movie “Palmeras en la nieve” if you have seen it anyone tell me your impressions, but I really want to go to watch it.

Also I have a super surprise for you, sooo cool, in a few weeks, that I’m sure that you will love as much as me, I am very happy! I can’t tell you now more details but I’ll tell you more things as soon as possible…

¡Buenos días y FELIZ AÑO NUEVO! Espero que hayáis tenido todos una muy buena salida y y comienzo de año. 2016 huele a cosas buenas y a nuevas oportunidades y a comenzar de nuevo todo, ¡vamos a sacarle el máximo partido!

Y este es mi primer post del 2016. Ya estoy de vuelta por Madrid, acabo de aterrizar hace apenas dos horas. Ya de vuelta al trabajo diario pero como os dije a través de mis redes sociales estoy muy contenta por empezar un año nuevo con mucha ilusión y nuevos proyectos, así que vamos a por todas como siempre chicos.

He pasado 6 días divertidísimos en París con mis amigos y mi hermana. Ya se que la mayoría lo habéis seguido casi en directo a través de mis redes sociales y me habéis visto comer, bailar y sobre todo reír y hacer el tonto mucho, me encanta tomarme la vida de la forma más alegre y positiva posible y sobre todo disfrutarlo con la gente que más quiero.

Como os conté hace poco solía hacer cada fin de año una lista con 12 deseos para irlos pidiendo cuando me iba tomando las uvas, pero la verdad es que este año no la he hecho. ¿Por qué? No porque se me haya olvidado, sino porque creo que tengo mucha, muchísima suerte de poder trabajar en lo que más me gusta, de disfrutar de mi trabajo cada día más. Por eso mis deseo este año han sido muy sencillos: salud para toda mi familia y gente cercana a mi, seguir trabajando cada día más y mejor para vosotros y para demostrarme a mi misma que puedo conseguir nuevos objetivos y sobre todo seguir invirtiendo muchas fuerzas en mantener siempre una mentalidad alegre y positiva ante la vida. Levantarme con energía cada día pase lo que pase e intentar buscar soluciones rápidas y eficaces a cada situación, ya sabéis que de todo se aprende. Centrémonos ahora en seguir con todo lo bueno y en cortar con las malas vibraciones para comenzar nuevas aventuras. Tenemos un libro de 365 páginas en blanco por delante para escribir una bonita historia.

Preparé este look para vosotros para una noche de fiesta porque desde que vi este vestido de manga larga de tela estilo Chanel y corte desigual me enamoré de él y se ha convertido en una opción perfecta para mi cuando tengo un evento más especial o importante. En las fotos de hoy me lo puse con medias negras debajo porque es verdad que en invierno llevar las piernas al aire con el frío y el color tan blanco que tenemos ahora pues no es la mejor opción… Pero escogí unas medias diferentes ya que son negras tupidas pero tienen detrás una tira ancha de terciopelo. ¿Qué os parecen? Para centrar toda la atención en el vestido y en el bordado rosado que lleva tanto delante como detrás escogí complementos muy básicos: unos tacones negros de charol, una blazer negra de terciopelo por encima a juego con las medias y con botones dorados y un clutch con cadena también dorada en color nude.

Os podréis imaginar el día que me espera hoy (me he levantado a las 7 de la mañana y ya he venido en el avión escribiendo este post) así que me despido ya hasta mañana y os deseo un buen Lunes a todos, y a los que tenéis que trabajar como yo ya sabéis ¡a por todas siempre! y más recién estrenado el año.

Good morning and HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had a very good start of the year. 2016 seems to be a new good year full of new opportunities and it gives ut the chance to start all over again, and we will do it of course!

And this is my first post of 2016. I’m back in Madrid, just landed two hours ago. Now I’m back to my daily work but as I said through my social networks to you I’m very happy to start a new year with great enthusiasm and new projects, so I’m doing like always: all in or nothing.

I spent the last 6 days in Paris having so much fun and relaxing days with my friends who live there and my sister. I know that the many of you have followed me live through my social networks and seen me eating, dancing and laughing; in conclusion, enjoying a lot. I really love to surround myself by positive and good people as much as it is posible, and these guys have made my New Year Eve an unforgettable one.

As I told you recently I used to do every year a list (kind of bucket list) with 12 wishes to wish when taking the grapes on the 31h of December, but the truth is that this year I have not done it. Why? Not because I have forgotten it but because I believe that I’m very, very lucky to work in what I like most, to enjoy my work every day. So my only wishes this year have been very simple: health for my family and people close to me, keep on working every day more and better for you and to prove to myself that I can achieve new goals and especially continue to try to have a positive mind every day. I use to get up with a lot of energy every morning no matter what happens and I’d like to try to find quick and effective solutions to each situation,specially the bad ones because they will become lessons to us. So let’s continue with all the good vibes in our lives and start new adventures. We have a book of 365 blank pages ahead to write a nice story.

I did the shooting of this look for you about how to dress for a special night because since I saw this long sleeve dress Chanel style I felt in love with it and it has become a perfect choice for me when I have a special or important event. In today’s photos I’m wearing it with black tights underneath because it is true that in winter our legs there aren’t so ‘perfect’ to go without them so I realized that this was the best choice. But these tights are different as others because they have behind a wide strip of velvet. Do you like them? To focus all the attention on the dress and the pink embroidery at the front and back I chose very basic and simple accessories: a pair of black patent leather heels, a black velvet blazer over matching the tights details with gold buttons and a clutch with golden chain also in nude color.

I guess that you you can imagine the day that awaits me today (I woke up at 7am and I have been on the plane writing this post) now working at home and then going to the TV show… So I say goodbye to you now and tomorrow and I wish you all a happy Monday. For those of you that have to work like me, you know that a new a new year is the best moment to start new projects and dreams, so go for it!
