Today I want to talk about an article that caught my attention yesterday. As Vogue magazine tells us, HERE, capri pants are definitely in fashion.
One of the first women that wore them were Grace Kelly (I’ve got even the last official book of her life) and Audrey Hepburn (I love almost all her movies), who felt liberated from skirts and dresses, maintaining elegance and femininity.
I’ve been wearing different kind of capri trousers that I’ve shown you in my posts… do you remember this white night wiht this white jeans which are a must have for this summer? Or what about one of my great discoveries, this studded leggings that many of you told me how much you like them? I could continue with many other pants with florar print, military green, black… but the main feature for all of them is that they are capri style. And what is this? what means “capri”?
Well, in few words, a capri trouser is a pant that goes between the middle and the end of the leg and they stylized as any. You can find many with zippers on the sides, or you can do it by yourself too! As you have seen in many of my outfits, I usually make a fold at the end of my jeans so that they are shorter. But they stylized even more if you wear heels… That’s the perfect outfit for me: a capri pant with heels and a simple shirt! 😉

This is one of my favourites winter jackets. I bought it in Camden Town market in London. What I like most is the color and the university style with all that golden buttons.
It’s been so useful to me these cold days… I really miss sunny days!
These are one of my favourite shoes… from Russell & Bromley (they only sell in London 🙁 ), so every time I go I try to buy at least ones, because I like the leather and the shape of the shoe.
Yesterday night was an important day… and not only because San Jordi (that of course I gave a book and I got two new books). So I went out to dinner after a long monday.
I wanted to wear my new mustard heels, because I really like this color, so I combined them with a mustard t-shirt too.
The front of my heels has been made by me, because I fell in love with these heels that Olivia Palermo has woren many times (as you can see in the next pics).
These are from Kurt Geiger, with some glitter on top, and I went crazy when I saw these ones in Primark (I bought them in other colors because are cheap and pretty), but the problem was that they had nothing on top, so I decided to made it by myself… Yes!! My first post of a DIY!
First of all I went to a beads shop to buy some black material to paste the beads on it. Then I chose the brightest colors of mini diamonds.
After, in my house, I paste one by one all the little diamonds on the black cloth, and when it was dry, I put it on the top of my heels…
… and this was the result! What’s your opinion? Do you like it? I encourage you to try it! So simple and cheap!

Hace mucho tiempo que quería hacer un post con mis “trucos” de belleza, los productos que utilizo a la hora de maquillarme, consejos, cremas, etc. y por fín hoy lo comparto con vosotros 🙂
Aunque no suelo ir casi maquillada en mi día a día, porque es muy importante dejar respirar a la piel, eso no quita poder poner un poco de color en los pómulos y en labios y ojos.
Siempre que tengo algún evento más importante, me pongo en manos del equipo de Chanel de El corte Inglés de Castellana, donde Inés e Inma siempre me tratan genial y me dan los mejores consejos a la hora de maquillarme.
En esta ocasión, para el desfile de Desigual, acudí a ellas de nuevo (previa petición de cita).
A continuación os muestro los pasos que hay que dar para conseguir un maquillaje natural, y muy sencillo, que es lo que escogí para esta ocasión.
Cara lavada:
Primer paso: lo más importante es ponerse una buena base de maquillaje. Desde que Inma me recomendó la línea Hydra Beauty Créme (crema hidratante) y Sèrum (serum para debajo de la crema hidratante), no puedo dejar de usarlas. Para dejar la piel muy alisada y ocultar pequeños granitos y rojeces, utilizo la base alisadora Le Blanc (en el medio). Entonces la piel ya está perfectamente preparada para que empecemos a repatir el maquillaje. Yo utilizo el de esta línea Pefection Lumière que es para pieles mixtas y además lleva protección 10.
Quiero deciros una cosa de la base alisadora: yo la utilizo también como crema de diaro, porque me da mucha luminosidad a la cara y la deja super lisa, y así sólo me pongo un poco de colorete y ya está, para dejar respirar la piel.
Segundo paso: con una brocha gorda, poner ligeramente polvos matizadores para fijar bien el maquillaje, y que quede perfecto sobre el rostro. Yo utilizo el número 20 Clair Translucent.
Tercer paso: aplicar terracota (polvos de color) en la zona de los pómulos, frente y barbilla. Yo utilizo Terre Épice número 62. A continuación aplicaremos colorete, Tweed Corail número 20, sólo en la zona de las mejillas.
Cuarto paso: las sombras de ojos son muy importantes, por lo menos para mí, porque soy de las que piensa que una mirada vale más que mil palabras, y mirando a alguien a los ojos se pueden descubrir muchas cosas… Yo suelo optar por tonos claros en color beige o dorado, que van más con mi tipo de piel. En esta ocasión, el número 52 Beige y el 45 Safari.
Quinto paso: si quieres dar mayor profundidad a tu mirada, puedes aplicar una pequeña línea en el párpado superior con el eyeliner y repasar la línea interna del ojo con Le Crayon Kholn 01. Después ya podemos aplicar cuidadosamente el rimmel Éclat Lumière Noir, con un algodón debajo de la mano para no manchar el resto de la cara.
Sexto paso: para ir terminando hay que añadir un toque de color a los labios. Yo utilizo raya de color y encima gloss de labios Évasion 48.
Séptimo paso:después de estar ya maquillada, aplico un toque encima de los pómulos con el iluminador Lucky Strike de la colección “Las Vegas“. Este producto es único de este Corte Inglés, no lo venden en otro sitio, y lo que más me gusta es que también utilizo los colores como sombras de ojos individualmente.
Octavo paso: pintarse las uñas! jeje. De cara a este verano se lleva el mismo color de uñas que de labios… Yo elegí un tono clarito como el de los labios, pero aquí podéis ver la inmensa gama que tenéis para elegir…
Para terminar…: desde mi punto de vista, lo que más nos caracteriza es nuestro perfume. Yo cuando conozco a alguien (al darle dos besos) lo primero en lo que me fijo es en cómo huele. ¿Vosotros no?
He utilizado muchos perfumes a lo largo de mi vida, cada uno ha ido marcando distintas etapas… pero uno de los que más llevo ahora es el de Coco Mademoiselle. Es un olor muy juvenil y a la vez elegante. ¡Me encanta!
Aunque no se puede apreciar bien el resultado final en esta foto, me encanta cómo me ha quedado el maquillaje tan natural, y la profundidad de la mirada…

Ah! y a las que penséis que estos productos son carísimos e inaccesibles, ¡deciros que no es así! Yo por lo menos no soy de las que me compro productos caros para maquillarme (he probado muchos y al final el resultado era incluso peor que con los baratos). Me parece una tontería porque sólo lo llevas unas horas puesto, pero a la hora de cuidarme la piel (cremas, sérum, maquillaje…) prefiero invertir un poco cada mes para que la piel se mantenga bien cuidada, porque al fin y al cabo, nuestra cara es como nuestra carta de presentación, ¿no? 😉
