Aparte de ser uno de los centros comerciales más importantes del mundo por acoger en sus instalaciones a las más prestigiosas marcas internacionales, Galerías Lafayette esconde otro secreto.

Si subes hasta la última planta de estos grandes almacenes podrás disfrutar de unas de las mejores vistas de la ciudad de París mientras disfrutas de un aperitivo o una copa de champán. Ver el atardecer desde aquí frente a la Torre Eiffel y a todos los edificios más emblemáticos de la ciudad francesa, desde luego que no tiene precio, por eso quería enseñaros estas fotos. En el penthouse de estas galerías nos encontramos esta zona de chill out que veis en las imágenes donde la gente de París y por supuesto miles de turistas vienen a hacerse fotos, tomarse algo y a recrearse con estas maravillosas vistas.

Escogí esta vez mi mono blanco de manga larga combinado con mi bolso dorado y mis gafas de sol redondas también con detalles dorados.

Me encuentro algo mejor hoy del catarro que he pasado y ahora me voy corriendo a grabar otro vídeo para una marca de belleza que creo que os gustará bastante, sobre todo a las chicas.

If you go upstairs until the top floor of these department stores you can enjoy some of the best views of the city of Paris while enjoying a snack or a glass of champagne. Watch the sunset from here just looking at the Eiffel Tower and all the most emblematic city buildings, is really priceless, so I wanted to show you these pictures. In the penthouse of these galleries we found this area of chill out that you can see in the pictures where many Parisians and of course thousands of tourists come every day to take photos, to have a drink and to enjoy these wonderful views.

I chose for this moment my long sleeve white playsuit combined with my golden bag and my round sunglasses also with gold details.

I feel a little bit better today about my cold but now I’m running to film another video for a beauty brand that I will able to show you very soon. I think you will like it a lot, especially the girls hehe.

¡Buenos días familia!

Por fin pude dormir anoche en mi camita aunque entre que esperé las maletas y luego las deshice en casa (ya sabéis que no me puedo ir a dormir dejando todo tirado), me dieron casi las 3 de la mañana… y a las 8 ya estaba en pie para las mil cosas que tengo que hacer hoy.

Hoy os cuento el motivo principal de mi viaje express a Londres y París.

Las chicas de The Apartment nos invitaron a un grupo de selectivos bloggers a pasar un fin de semana en París conociendo las nuevas marcas de moda, disfrutando de momentos de belleza y gastronómicos, haciendo shootings con fotógrafos profesionales y descubriendo los rincones más exclusivos de la ciudad.

The Apartment es un espacio creado por y para los bloggers más influyentes del momento. Surgió en el año 2012 durante la Fashion Week de Londres como un lugar donde las bloggers invitadas pueden ir a peinarse, maquillarse, conectarse y trabajar, realizar shootings con los fotógrafos más prestigiosos, relajarse e incluso darse masajes, etc. Se trata de hacer más fácil el laborioso trabajo que tenemos durante las Fashion Weeks de ir corriendo de un lado a otro.

En esta ocasión colaboraban con Who’s Next donde pudimos descubrir las marcas emergentes más importantes de todos los países y realizar contactos y colaboraciones con ellos.

Os dejo algunas fotos del lugar y del bonito peinado que me hicieron el primer día las chicas de Vegetalement. Para el primer día escogí unos jeans negros rotos con camiseta gris de rayas y mis sandalias negras de tacón medio con tachuelas. Look rockero y cómodo a la vez.

Voy a seguir recuperándome de la garganta para la grabación que tengo mañana y que os enseñaré dentro de poquito.

Good morning family!

I could finally sleep last night in my bed but between waiting for all my luggage and then unpacking at home (you know that I can not go to sleep leaving all the mess undone), I go to sleep almost at 3 in the morning… and at 8am I have started my day for the thousand things I have to do today.

Today I want to tell you a little bit more about the main reason for my express trip to London and Paris.

The Apartment girls invited us (a group of selective bloggers from London ) to spend a weekend in Paris discovering the new fashion brands that will hit hard, enjoying moments of beauty and healthy food, doing shootings with professional photographers and discovering the most exclusive corners of the french city.

The Apartment is a space created by and for the most influential bloggers of the moment. It emerged in 2012 during London Fashion Week as a place where the top bloggers can go to do they hairstyle, makeup, connect and work, make shootings with the most prestigious photographers, relax and even take massages, etc. It has been created to make our life so much easier during our crazy Fashion Weeks when we are running from one side to another.

Thy collaborate with Who’s Next too where we could discover the most important emerging brands of all countries and make contacts and collaborations with them.

I show you here some photos of the place and the nice hairstyle that made me the first day Vegetalement girls. For the first day I chose a ripped black skinny jeans with a gray striped t-shirt and my black sandals with studs medium heel. Rocker and comfortable style at the same time.

Now I will continue recovering from my sore throat because tomorrow I have an important filming that I will show you soon.

¡Buenos días desde Londres!

Y cómo no, día nublado por aquí… la verdad es que echo de menos levantarme con el solazo y el cielo tan azul de Madrid hehe.

Último post en el blog sobre mis vacaciones con otro de los monos por el que me habéis preguntado bastante. Fotos en la bonita playa de Valdevaqueros en Tarifa que ya habéis visto en otros posts.

Y os quiero contar algo que no se si sabéis pero que quiero compartir con vosotros a cerca de mi trabajo para que veáis una vez más lo transparente que me gusta ser.

Este mono, ¡me encanta! Me parece perfecto para mí: color neutral, pantalón estilo midi y con escote de espalda. Entonces, ¿qué problema tengo? El problema que tenemos con estas cosas las bloggers e influencers es que luego no nos lo podemos poner siempre que queramos porque a las marcas no les sale rentable que saquemos algo que no sea de temporada y a vosotras no os gusta ver algo que no os podéis comprar… Así que esto es lo que me pasa con la mayoría de la ropa que saco, que me la puedo poner un par de veces para enseñárosla y luego nunca más. ¡Da rabia!

En fin, como sabéis sigo en Londres así que me voy corriendo a desayunar con unas amigas y a varias reuniones con marcas de aquí que tengo después… pero mañana ya estaré de vuelta por Madrid. ¡Echo de menos levantarme con sol! hehe.

Good morning from London!

And of course it’s another cloudy day here… the truth is that I miss getting up with the amazing sun and the super blue sky of Madrid…

Last post on the blog about my holidays with other of my jumpsuits about which you have asked me a lot. Photos taken at the beautiful beach of Valdevaqueros in Tarifa, you have already seen it in other posts.

And I want to tell you something that I do not know if you know but I want to share it with you. It’s about my work and you know that I like to be always transparent with you.

This jumpsuit, I really love it! It seems perfect for me: neutral color, midi style pants and back neckline. So what’s the problem? The problem we have with these things bloggers and influencers is that we can not wear the clothes we like most whenever we want because brands only pay us or give us clothes to show them during the season and while they have stock, and all of you also would like to have the opportunity to buy what we are wearing… so this is what happens with most of the clothes that we have, we wear them for a couple of times to show them to you and then never again… This is the worst part of my work I guess.

Anyway, as I said I’m in London today so I’m running now to have breakfast with some friends and to attend some meetings with brands here before leaving tonight … and tomorrow I will be back in Madrid! Yay! I miss getting up with the sun! hehe.

Un espigón. Las olas. El mar infinito. Yo misma. Sin filtros. Sin maquillaje. Libre.

Momentos en los que te gustaría parar el tiempo…

Me encanta descubrir lugares que me transmitan paz y enseñároslos por aquí. Ya os he contado muchas veces que esto no es lo que parece. No es coger una cámara, cualquier cosa de ropa y hacerte unas fotos en medio de la calle. A mí me gusta seleccionar la ropa según el lugar a donde voy a ir a hacerme las fotos, y me gusta siempre que puedo que sean lugares bonitos, que tengan algo especial para sentirme cómoda con el shooting y para que luego os guste a vosotros el resultado tanto como a mí.

Este pequeño espigón o muelle que se mete en el mar en Marbella es uno de esos rincones. Uno de mis lugares favoritos de la zona. Es de madera y se adentra en el mar decorado con mesas, hamacas y farolas que, a mí personalmente, me recuerdan a las películas de los años 60 en los embarcaderos.

Completamente libre. Así me sentí en este momento. Descalza, cómo no, con un vestido sencillo, sin llevar maquillaje y fotos sin retocar, no photoshop ni filtros. Cómo me gusta sentarme a mirar el mar, las olas. Me he repetido un poco este verano pero es que es algo que me llena mucho a la vez que me relaja y me da paz interior.

Supongo que algunos ya habréis visto en mi Instagram Stories que ayer estuve grabando un vídeo para Danone con los nuevos sabores de Oikos. Esta en concreto ha sido una acción que me ha encantado porque pude ser yo misma 100%. Estoy deseando que veáis el resultado del vídeo y que me deis vuestra opinión.

A pier. The waves. The endless sea. Myself. Without filters. Without makeup. Just free.

Moments when you would like to stop time…

I love discovering places that give me peace and show them to you here. I have already told you many times that this is not what it seems. It is not just taking a camera, some clothes and going to shoot some pictures in the middle of the street. I like to select the clothes I wear according to the place where I’m going to take the pictures, and I like whenever I can to discover beautiful places, places that have something special to make me feel more comfortable with the shooting and then for you to like the result as much as me.

This small pier getting into the sea in Marbella is one of those charmed places. One of my favorite locations in the area. It is made of wood and it has small tables, sunbeds and streetlights that to me personally they remind me of the films of the 60s in the piers before boarding on a boat.

Completely free. I felt like this. Barefoot, of course, with a simple dress without wearing makeup and photos unretouched, no photoshop or filters. How much I love to sit here and watch the sea waves. This is something that really fills me so much while relaxes me and gives me inner peace.

I guess that some of you have already seen on my Instagram Stories that yesterday I was shooting a video for Danone with the new Oikos flavors. This in particular has been an amazing and fun work for me because I like taking part in the production and they allowed me to be myself 100%. I can’t wait to show you the final video to see if you like it and to give me your opinion.

Marbella Club

Escoje un lugar para perderte… y piérdete.

De esto se tratan las vacaciones o días de desconexión, ¿o no?

Ya sabéis que he pasado un verano bastante relajado en mi casa de Marbella, pero también es cierto que he buscado algunos momentos de mayor intimidad y relajación en lugares más escondidos y especiales…

Es el caso del Hotel Marbella Club. Aunque está en primera línea de playa es un hotel en el que se puede desconectar del bullicio de gente que hay cada verano en esta zona y además tanto el hotel y sus inmediaciones como la comida y el servicio son excelentes.

Yo me acerqué a pasar un día de relax con un amigo mío y como veis el beach club en tonos azules y blancos parece casi de cuento al igual que los inmensos jardines con arcos, fuentes y macetas típicas andaluzas, palmeras, vegetación… me encanta pasear por lugares así.

Y Lunes 29 de Agosto todavía pero yo empiezo la semana a tope. Hoy tengo una grabación muy chula que os enseñaré dentro de poco y el miércoles os voy informando de que a las 14h podréis conectaros en directo a mi Facebook Live AQUÍ con algunas sorpresas para vosotros…

Choose a beautiful place… and get lost.

This is the slogan of a good holidays, isn’t it?

You know I’ve spent a relaxing and perfect summer at my home in Marbella, but it is also true that I have tried to have some more moments of privacy and relaxation in more hidden and special places…

Today I show you one of my favourites hotels in the area: Marbella Club Hotel. Although it is located just in front of the beach is a hotel where you can disconnect from the bustle of people that come here every summer and also enjoy its surroundings and beautiful areas as the food and hotel service, they are excellent.

I went to spend a relaxing day with a friend of mine and as you can see the beach club in blue and white colors is like from a fairy tale, like the amazing gardens with arches, fountains and typical Andalusian plants and flowerpots, palm trees and all kind of vegetation… I really love walking around places like this.

Monday, August 29th, and I have started a non stop week. Today I have a very cool recording that I will show you very soon and on Wednesday stay tuned at 14pm because you can connect live with me through my Facebook account HERE where I will have some surprises for you… I will wait for you!

Esta es, sin lugar a dudas, mi hora favorita del día. También este es mi lugar favorito para disfrutar de este momento.

Puesta de sol, el mar, las olas, pies descalzos en la arena… ojalá pudiese vivir este momento cada día.

No hay nada que me guste más que quedarme hasta tarde en la playa leyendo y relajándome… pero el deber es el deber y los días que tengo que hacer fotos me suelo subir sobre las 18h para poder organizarme y llegar a tiempo de este precioso momento.

En estas fotos soy yo completamente, 100% Marta. Alegre, divertida, cercana, humana. Es cierto que no se puede mantener un estado de ánimo así las 24 horas del día pero quiero intentar ser más alegre, más feliz, la mayor parte de mi tiempo. Las cosas en general me afectan mucho y luego casi todas tienen una solución rápida. Por eso me he propuesto para este nuevo “año” mantenerme más positiva y alegre que nunca porque veo que así las cosas me acaban saliendo mejor, al menos como a mí me gustan.

No es fácil ponerse a posar delante de gente con la que no estás acostumbrado, por eso lo que más me gusta de estas fotos es que yo me puse a hacer el tonto, a ser yo básicamente, y mi amigo Carlos iba disparando fotos…

Espero que os gusten y me voy a disfrutar de mi último día de vacaciones… ¡Nos vemos mañana en Madrid!

This is, without any doubt, my favourite moment of the day. This is also my favourite place to enjoy it.

Sunset, sea, waves, barefooted in the sand… I wish I could live this moment every day.

There is nothing I like more than to stay late at the beach reading and chilling… but work is work and some days I have to take pictures so I usually go home about 18h to organize myself and get ready to shoot this precious moment.

In these pictures I am completely me, 100% Marta. Cheerful, fun, close, human. It is true that you can not maintain a mood like this 24 hours a day but I try to be happier, happiest, most of my time. In general things affect me so much and then almost all of them have a quick solution. That is why one of my proposals for this “new year” is to stay more positive and happier than ever because I have proved that this way things work better, at least as I like them.

It is not so easy to pose in front of people that you are not used to, so what I like about these pictures is that I started to play, to be basically me, and my friend Carlos was shooting photos meanwhile…

Hope you like them and I’ll going to enjoy now my last day of holidays… See you tomorrow in Madrid!

¡Lunes!

Ya sólo me quedan 4 días de vacaciones y vuelta al trabajo… y si os digo la verdad ¡lo estoy deseando!

Tengo un montón de proyectos nuevos y divertidos que me apetece mucho empezar a compartir con vosotros. Además las vacaciones siempre son tan deseadas precisamente por ser eso, unos días de descanso y desconexión al año. Si viviésemos en permanentes vacaciones no las valoraríamos tanto.

Y hoy os enseño mi look favorito de los que pude fotografiar en las dunas de la playa de Valdevaqueros de Tarifa. Shorts vaqueros y un crop top blanco de flores con escote de espalda (¿ya sabéis que es mi escote favorito no? hehe). Es completamente de mi estilo por lo básico que es pero a la vez con ese toque moderno. Básico por los shorts vaqueros que seguro que todos tenemos en casa y moderno por el crop top de flores perforado que pienso que queda perfecto con la piel morenita.

Me he enamorado de esta localización la verdad y pienso volver siempre que pueda a enseñaros más fotos desde aquí.

Hello Monday!

Now I only have 4 days left before coming back to work… but the truth is that I’m happy for that!

I have a lot of new and fun projects that I’m excited to start sharing with you. In addition to this holidays are always so desirable precisely because that, a few days off and to disconnect from the year. If we would live in permanent vacation we would not value them that much.

And today I show you my favourite look that I could shoot in the dunes of Valdevaqueros Beach in Tarifa. Denim shorts and a white flower crop top with back neckline (you know that is my favourite neckline, don’t you? hehe). It is completely my style and it is also so basic and trendy. Basic fro the denim shorts that we all have for sure in our closet and the flower and perforated crop top I think is perfect with a tanned skin.

I love this amazing location and I will come back for sure whenever I can to take new pictures from here to show you.

Dunes

Arena, mar, olas, dunas, sal en el cuerpo, piel morena… estas son algunas de las palabras que definen las pedazo de vacaciones que he tenido este año.

Hacía tiempo que no podía pasar casi un mes en mi casa con mi familia y amigos. Siempre tenía algún viaje organizado o algún trabajo que me lo impedía. Por eso este verano estoy disfrutando como una enana de las pequeñas cosas, de cada día, de cada momento. Desde mi momento dedicado a vosotros cada mañana escribiendo estos posts hasta los momentos de cada tarde que os enseño en mi Instagram jugando a las carta con mis amigos (estoy enganchadísima al Continental, ¿sabéis jugar?).

Y cómo no, también he tenido tiempo para hacer pequeñas excursiones por esta zona. El Miércoles fuimos a pasar el día a Tarifa, otra de mis zonas favoritas tanto por sus playas como por la fiesta nocturna que es completamente de mi estilo, ir de bar en bar y hablar con la gente en la calle toda la noche.

Os enseño hoy algunas fotos con este elegante y cómodo vestido veraniego encima de las dunas con unas vistas maravillosas a la playa de Valdevaqueros. Tanto los colores del vestido como el paisaje no pueden encajar mejor. Además este tipo de shootings son los que más me gustan, cuando salgo siendo yo misma, haciendo el tonto, jugando con la arena, riéndome, sin maquillaje y sin “postureo”… gracias a mi hermanita por hacerme estas fotos tan bonitas.

Y lo dicho chicos, a disfrutar de las pequeñas cosas, de estos pequeños momentos, que al final marcan la diferencia y a mi por lo menos me hacen muy feliz.

Sand, sea, waves, dunes, salty hair and body, tanned ski … these are some of the words that can perfectly define my wonderful holidays this summer.

There has been many time that I could not spend almost a month in my home here with my family and friends. I always had an organized trip or any work that prevent me to come here so many days. So this summer I am enjoying as a kid all these things, every day, every moment. From my time dedicated to you every morning writing these posts until every afternoon that I have shown you in my Instagram Stories playing cards with my friends (I’m absolutely crazy with Continental card game, do you know it?).

And of course, I also have had time to make small trips around this area. On Wednesday went to spend the day at Tarifa, another of my favorite areas in the South of Spain for its beaches and the nightlife that is completely my style, going from bar to bar and talking to people on the streets all night.

Today I show you some pictures with this elegant and comfortable stripped summer dress on top of the dunes with these incredible views to Valdevaqueros beach and the sea. Both, dress colors and the background, can not match better. In addition to this, these kind of shootings are the ones I like, when I’m just myself, playing around with the sand, laughing, without any makeup and without “poshing” … of course thanks to my little sister for taking me these beautiful pictures.

So guys,remember to enjoy the little things, these little moments that ultimately make the difference and to me at least they make me very happy every day.

Simple life

Cómo nos gusta complicarnos la vida eh…

La verdad es que yo pienso que si mi vida no fuese dramática, tampoco sería mi vida, pero también es cierto que muchas veces nos gusta complicarlo todo mucho más de lo que en realidad lo es, ¡menos drama por favor!

Os digo muchas veces que siempre me gusta irme a dormir con la conciencia tranquila, sabiendo que no he hecho mal a nadie o al menos deliberadamente. Pero muchas veces esto no se puede controlar. Nunca llueve a gusto de todos esto está claro, pero yo siempre prefiero intentar llevarme bien con todo el mundo, sobre todo con gente que ha sido importante en mi vida y que he querido, independientemente de lo que haya pasado… Gajes de no ser orgullosa supongo. No obstante esa decisión no es unilateral, la otra persona también debe valorarte y querer seguir teniéndote en su vida.

Y también debo decir que las cosas fáciles nunca me gustaron, no me atraen. A mí me gustan los retos, el luchar por conseguir mis objetivos, mis sueños. No que me lo den todo hecho. Quiero luchar y trabajar duro para construir mi propio futuro yo misma. Porque donde realmente aprendemos es en ese camino, en ese proceso. No me gusta quedarme con el “y si hubiese hecho esto”, prefiero hacerlo y ver qué pasa. O al menos intentarlo.

Pero a lo que vengo vengo. Que debemos aprender, aunque no es tan fácil, a ver y hacer las cosas mucho más fáciles, simples. Muchas cosas tienen solución pero otras no… o quizá si pero no por el momento. No pasa nada. No se acaba el mundo. Siempre hay otras cosas o personas por las que seguir luchando. Siempre. No creo que el drama sea algo tan negativo pero sí se debe aprender a controlarlo.

How much we like to complicate our life…

The truth is that I think that if my life weren’t so dramatic, it would not be my life, but it is also true that many times we like to complicate things much more than they really are, Less drama please!

I have said many times that I always like to go to bed with a clear mind, knowing that I have not hurt anybody or at least deliberately. But often we can not control this. It never rains please to everyone this is true too, but I always prefer to try to be “in peace” with everyone, especially people who have been important in my life and I’ve loved, regardless of what has happened in the past… I’m not prideful I guess. However that decision is not unilateral, the other person must also know and want to continue having us in their life.

And I must say that I have never liked easy things, they do not attract me at all. I like challenges, fighting to achieve my goals, my dreams. I do not want everything already done. I want to work and built it by my own. Because when we really learn is along that way, in that process. I do not like to stay with the “what if I had done this…”, I prefer to just do it and see what happens. Or at least to try it.

We should learn, but it is not so easy to do, to make things much easier, simple things. Many things and situations are solvable but others do not… or maybe yes, but not at the moment. Nothing happens. The world will not end today. There are always other things or people who keep fighting for. Always. I do not think the drama is something so negative but we must learn to control it.

Pienso que, ante la duda, lo mejor es escoger el color negro para vestirnos cuando no sabemos qué ponernos. Y muchas veces me preguntáis que cómo podéis combinar vuestra ropa de trabajo en verano… Hoy he cogido unos pantalones negros de vestir y los he combinado con un crop top blanco de rayas y unas zapatillas. De esta forma rompemos con el toque tan elegante del pantalón y le damos un punto más informal y casual al look. ¡Es de mis estilismos favoritos! Si por mi fuese iría a diario vestida de este estilo… Recordad, menos es más.

Además creo que el estilo es lo más importante a la hora de vestir. Nuestra actitud a la hora de lucir una prenda es algo fundamental. Y esta combinación de colores y de prendas ahora mismo es un acierto para ir a la última.

Y ahora mismo salgo de Marbella hacia Tarifa para pasar el día en esas espectaculares playas, y, cómo no, para hacer fotos chulis para vosotros. Yo siempre con mil cámaras en mano hehe.

Ya se va terminando lo bueno porque a finales de la semana que viene volveré a Madrid y prometo que me pondré al día con todo y todos.

Black and white, my favourite colors when dressing and also my favorite combination in clothes.

I think that, when in doubt, it is always the best option to choose black when we do not know what to wear. And many times you have asked me how you can combine your working clothes in summer time… So today I’m wearing a pair of black suit pants and I have combined them with a white striped crop top and white sneakers. The sneakers break with the elegant touch of the pants and they give a more informal and casual point to the complete look. It’s my favorite outfit! If I only could dress like this always for my day a day… Remember, less is more.

I also believe that style is the most important thing when dressing. Our attitude when wearing any cloth is essential. And this combination of colors and clothes right now is a wise to go super trendy.

Now I’m leaving Marbella to go to spend the day in Tarifa and its spectacular beaches, and, of course, to take amazing photos for you. I always go with thousand cameras in my hands hehe.

And these are my last few days of holidays because by the end of the next week I will be coming back to Madrid and I promise that I’ll catch up with everything and everyone.
