Bangkok, day 3

El tercer día que pasamos en Bangkok lo podríamos denominar con “el día de los templos”. ¡Visitamos más de 4! Pero cada vez me gusta más la religión budista y me encanta poder entender a otras personas y sus costumbres, y sinceramente también pienso que las religiones unen… y mucho.

Bueno, pues este día escogimos una excursión con más gente que resultaron ser de lo más divertidos. Una familia mexicana con dos hijos y luego dos amigos de Nueva York (Evans, uno de ellos, sale conmigo en una de las fotos abajo). Me encanta conocer a gente por el mundo y que me cuenten y contarles mi vida hahaha, para mi es muy en enriquecedor.

Visitamos primero las ruinas de Ayutthaya, que son impresionantes aunque hacía bastante calor y eso que sólo eran las 9 de la mañana… os recomiendo llevar agua y sombreros. De ahí nos dirigimos a dar un paseo en elefante para conocer los pueblos de alrededor del río Chao Phraya donde terminamos después dando un paseo en barco durante una hora para seguir visitando más templos.

Aunque os lo he contado en las redes sociales quiero deciros, para variar hehe, un par de cosas. La primera es que no se si serán los 30 o qué pero he decidido pasar de la gente que me hace daño, sobre todo en las redes sociales, ya que es gente que ni conozco. Así que os voy a hacer caso a todos los que me habéis escrito diciéndomelo, ¡muchas gracias! Y pienso borrar en vez de contestar o dar explicaciones a todos los comentarios que me falten al respeto o que no me gusten. Una cosa es que sea pública y otra es criticar a la gente hasta hacer daño, y sólo para mal, porque a los que me comentáis a diario ya os conozco a la mayoría…

Y en segundo lugar quiero decir que a mi me encantan los animales. Dicho esto, no se cómo se puede haber montado tanto lío por hacerme un par de fotos con un elefante… Estoy en Tailandia, para bien o para mal esto te lo encuentras por aquí pero vamos aún así yo no me la hice con mi mejor intención porque me hecho muchísima ilusión ver uno tan de cerca ya que nunca lo había hecho, y me lancé a él como lo haría a algo que me encanta… Siento mucho si alguien se ha sentido ofendido pero fue una foto completamente inocente y de todas formas me gustaría saber si todos los que habéis criticado tan duramente mi foto, nunca habéis ido a un zoo, acuario, circo… ¿a que no? Seguramente tengo razón por lo que he podido comprobar en algunas fotos de algunos de vuestros perfiles… Así que de nuevo pido que antes de juzgar miremos si nosotros mismos tenemos las manos limpias… gracias.

Y como me encanta adaptarme a la moda de cada país estos son otros de los pantalones estilo tailandés que me he comprado y los he combinado con un crop top en color tierra, ¿os gusta?

The third day we spent in Bangkok we might call it “the temples’s day”. We visited more than 4! But I like now even more the Buddhist religion and I love being able to understand other people and their culture. Also I sincerely think that religions connect people…

Well, this day we chose a tour with more people who turned out to be super fun. A Mexican family with two children and then two friends from New York (Evans, one of them, with me in one of the photos below). I love meeting people around the world and to tell they and they telling me about their life, to me is very enriching.

First of all we visited the ruins of Ayutthaya, which are impressive though it was quite hot and that it was only 9 am… I recommend you to bring water and hats. From there we headed to take an elephant ride to explore the surrounding villages of Chao Phraya River where we ended up after riding around in a boat for an hour to continue visiting more temples.

Although I have already told you on my social networks this I want to say one more time a couple of things, hehe. The first is that I’m not sure if it’s because I’m already 30 or what but I have decided to stay away from people who hurt me, especially in social networks, because it is people that do not even know me. So I’m going to ignore them all, thank you very much to all of you that have written me saying this and helping me to take this decision! And I think instead of answering or giving explanations to all these bad and disrespectful comments I will directly delete them. I know I’m a public person but to criticize people that yo don’t even know saying always only bad things, is not good. I prefer that they leave us in peace and love as we always use to be on my medias, don’t you think so?

And secondly I want to say that I really love animals. Said this, I don’t know how it can be such a misunderstanding for a couple of pictures with an elephant… I’m in Thailand, for good or bad this is reality, this is what you find here but I still made it with my best intention… I haven’t seen an elephant before so close so I just jumped as it would be something or someone that I love… I am so sorry if anyone was offended but it was a completely innocent photo and anyway I wonder if all those who have criticized so hardly my picture, you have never been to a zoo, aquarium, circus … Surely I have reason because I have seen it in some photos of some of your profiles… So again I ask you to think about yourself first before judging others and see if your own hands are clean… thanks.

And as I love to adapt myself to each country that I visit these are other Thai style shorts that I bought and I have combined them with a crop top in earth color, do you like them?

Bangkok, day 2

Segundo día en Bangkok.

Ya más descansadas y con las pilas cargadas nos embarcamos en un tour que nos organizó nuestro hotel, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, con un guía local llamado James que hizo que tuviésemos otro día de 10.

Primero visitamos el mercado flotante Ladmayon donde se puede comprar de todo y donde comimos cuando volvimos de un divertido paseo en barco por el canal con el mismo nombre. Este momento fue uno de los más impactantes para mí porque según nos explicó James las casas que se ven en el vídeo (que os colgaré esta tarde) y las personas que viven en ellas, que son muy muy pobres, viven realmente así. Es como si los años y siglos no hubiesen pasado por ellos y cosechar y recolectan sus propios alimentos, pescan y comercian con sus vecinos y sobre todo viven en paz y súper felices. Me dio envidia sana de ellos y una vez más me ha servido para hacerme pensar en los que somos más “privilegiados”?…

Después del paseo por el río conocimos una de estas casas típicas tailandesas por dentro y volvimos a comer al mercado flotante. Como veis no sólo estoy en hoteles de 5 estrellas como he leído por ahí. Cuando viajo me adapto a la colaboración o al viaje que tenga organizado pero me gusta conocer y vivir todos los aspectos de un país.

A continuación nos dirigimos a visitar el palacio real y el segundo templo más importante de Bangkok, enfrente del Gran Palacio, que se llama Wat Pho. En él se encuentra el segundo Buddha reclinado más grande de la ciudad con 46m de largo y 15 de alto, ¡impresionante! La imagen de un Buddha reclinado significa justo el momento antes de su muerte, el conocido Nirvana, ya que así es como se conoce que él se fue de esta vida terrenal. Es una postura cuanto menos original…

Antes de ir a cenar paramos en el mercado de las flores, otro mercado de obligatoria visita ya que encontraréis todo tipo de flores y también otros productos pero además veréis en primera persona cómo las mujeres y niños tailandeses fabrican con sus propias manos los colgantes de jazmín que aparte de oler fenomenal se utilizan para ahuyentar y repeler a los mosquitos.

Por último y para terminar un completo día, cenamos a pie de calle y nunca mejor dicho en China Town. La verdad es que al principio, y a mi personalmente que me da un poco de miedo toda la comida cocinada así en medio de la calle porque soy una “blanda” en este aspecto, no me atrevía a comer nada… pero al final lo hicimos y todo estaba buenísimo.

Mañana más y mejor, ¡y además es mi cumple! hehehe, 30 ya imponen respeto… ¿o no?

Second day in Bangkok.

Having sleep in a bed and with so much more energy we went on a tour organized by our hotel, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, with a local guide named James who made us having a 10 day.

First in the early morning we visited Ladmayon floating market where you can buy everything and where we ate when we returned from a fun boat ride on the canal with the same name. This moment was one of the most shocking for me because as James explained us the houses that you can see in the video (which I will share with you this afternoon) and the people living in them, they are very very poor. It is as if the years and centuries had not gone through them and they collect their own food, they practise fishing and trading with their neighbors and above all they live in complete peace and happiness. I was feeling really healthy envy of them and again they made me think about our “privileged”? lives…

After the ride down the river we entered inside one of these typical Thai houses and came back to eat at the floating market. As you can see I’m not only in 5 star hotels as I have read somewhere. When I travel I adapt to the collaboration or the plan I have organized but I like to know and live all aspects of a country and meeting all kind of people.

Then we went to visit the Great Palace and the second most important temple in Bangkok, just in front of this Palace, called Wat Pho. It has inside the second largest reclining Buddha in the city with 46m long and 15 tall, impressive! The image of a reclining Buddha means just the moment before his death, known as Nirvana, because this is how it is known that Buddha left this life on earth. It is at least a super original position…

Before going to dinner we stopped at the flowers market, another must visit market where you can find all kinds of flowers and other products but also you will see in person how women and Thai children make with their own hands jasmine necklaces and plants that apart from smelling super nice they used them also to scare and repel mosquitoes.

Finally and to complete a full day, we had dinner at street and never better said in China Town. The truth is that at first moment, I personally was a little bit scared of eating food cooked in the middle of the street because I am a “soft” woman in this aspect, but in the end we all tried it and everything was great.

Tomorrow more and better, and it’s finally my birthday! hehehe, 30 years old OMG… but feeling like a child!

Bangkok, day 1

¡Hola a todos desde BANGKOK!

Después de un vuelo de 3h a Londres, de esperar 5h en el aeropuerto de Heathrow a que saliese nuestro siguiente vuelo y de volar 13h hasta Bangkok… ¡por fin llegamos a Tailandia!

Lo primero que quiero contaros es que estoy alucinando con la gente: son todos tan serviciales, amables, alegres, … te ayudan en todo lo que pueden y eso me encanta, ver a personas felices que disfrutan de la vida aún con lo poco que tienen… Esto es lo que me lleva de nuevo a pensar y valorar la tremenda suerte que tenemos muy muy pocos en este mundo, y me encanta aprender de personas así. Aprender a disfrutar de las pequeñas cosas que la vida nos da en nuestro día a día que al final son las que importan y que muchas veces no las valoramos… Ojalá aprendiésemos más de gente así, es algo admirable.

En Bangkok estamos alojadas en uno de los mejores hoteles de la ciudad: Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. Pero que nadie salte ya con eso del dinero… porque aquí la vida es muy muy barata, sobre todo para los que venimos de fuera, así que es muy fácil y barato encontrar alojamiento en cualquier hotel. Estamos en la planta 26 en una suite preciosa con unas vistas maravillosas al resto de la ciudad. Es un hotel de 5 estrellas muy bien situado y con grandes facilidades de desplazamiento a los lugares más importantes a visitar aquí.

Después de un viaje tan largo y además llegando a las 9am hora local, os podéis imaginar lo que hicimos todo el día: disfrutar de las instalaciones del hotel, de la piscina y de un típico masaje tailandés antes de irnos a dormir.

Mañana os cuento nuestra primera aventura en Bangkok que ha sido súper bonita y divertida. Estoy muy muy feliz y espero que todos vosotros también lo estéis y que nos contagiemos esta felicidad, ¡porque la vida con una sonrisa se vive mucho mejor!

Hoy nos vamos a visitar otros templos, a Ayutthaya y a montar en elefante, ¡qué ganas tengo de enseñaros más fotos y vídeos! Me encanta que os estén gustando tanto porque la verdad es que voy como una loca con 3 cámaras (Gopro, Canon y el móvil, hahaha).

Hello everyone from BANGKOK!

After a 3h flight to London, then 5h waiting at Heathrow Airport for our next flight connection and 13h of another flight… we finally arrived to, Bangkok, in Thailand!

The first thing I need to tell you is that it’s really amazing people here: they are all so helpful, friendly, cheerful… they help you in everything they can and I love that, seeing happy people who enjoy life even with the little things they have… this is what makes me think about my life, to think and value all the things in my life, how lucky we are (we are very few if we talk about the whole world), and I love to learn from people like these. Learn to enjoy the little things that life gives us in our daily lives that in the end are the ones that matter and I think that very often we do not value them… I wish more of us were like these people, it’s something admirable.

In Bangkok we are staying in one of the best hotels in town: Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. But even being a 5 stars hotel it is very cheap so I recommend it to you for sure, because life here is very very cheap, especially for those who come from outside. In general here it is very easy and cheap to find accommodation so to me is better to be in a high quality hotel like this one to can enjoy more activities and of course the sun. We are on the 26th floor in a lovely suite with wonderful views to the city. This hotel is very well located and with great travel facilities to the most important places to visit here.

After such a long journey and also arriving at 9am local time, you can imagine what we did all day: enjoy the hotel’s facilities such as the pool, the amazing Thai food and a typical Thai massage before going to bed.

Tomorrow I will tell you everything about our first adventure in Bangkok which has been super nice and fun. I am very very happy and I hope you all are too. It is not so complicated to smile at life, to be friendly with others, don’t you think so? I live much better now!

Now we are going to visit other temples, to Ayutthaya, and going to elephant riding, can’t wait to show you more pics and videos! I like so much that you are loving all my pics and videos, because the truth is that I’m going crazy the whole day with 3 cameras! (Gopro, Canon and my phone, hahaha).

Viernes 18 de Marzo y ya sí que sí… ¡ME VOY A TAILANDIA!

Estoy muy contenta con este viaje porque llevo años queriendo hacerlo y por fin ha llegado el momento chicos, ¡aún no me lo creo!

He estado mucho tiempo valorando la idea de quedarme por España para celebrar mi 30 cumpleaños con mi familia y amigos más cercanos, pero precisamente han sido ellos los que me han incitado a cumplir otro de mis sueños. Se que voy a vivir una experiencia única y además va a ser muy divertida porque voy con mi amiga Isa y las dos tenemos una forma de ver y actuar en la vida muy similar, así que espero que estéis atentos a mis redes sociales donde os iré contando y enseñando todo lo que pueda, ¡qué ganas!

Vamos a estar 5 días en Bangkok y 4 días en Koh Samui. No podemos visitar más ciudades porque la verdad es que 8 o 9 días (que son 11 en total de viaje) tampoco dan para mucho más, pero seguro que volveré para visitar otras zonas.

El vuelo va a ser muy largo y creo que ya sabéis que no soy gran fan de los aviones… De hecho, no me gusta nada volar hahaha. Hacemos escala en Londres para coger un vuelo de 13 horas hasta Bangkok, eso sí que no se cómo lo voy a llevar, ¡espero no atacar al avión entero! hahaha.

Y me despido de Madrid con este outfit con una de mis nuevas chaquetas favoritas para la primavera: esta azul celeste tipo vaquera pero con corte y detalles de esmoquin, ¡me encanta! Cómo no mi primera opción ha sido combinarla con un look en negro. ¡Espero que os guste!

Friday, 18th of March and now it’s time to… TRAVEL TO THAILAND!

I am very happy and so excite with this trip because I’ve been wanting to go there all my life it and I have finally achieve it, I still can not believe it!

I have been thinking so much about the idea of staying in Spain to celebrate my 30th birthday with my family and closest friends, but they just told me to fulfil another one of my dreams. I know I will live a unique experience and it’s gonna be very funny too because I’m going with my friend Isa and we both have a way of seeing and acting in life very similar, so I hope you stay tuned to my social networks where I will tell you and show you everything we will do, can’t wait!

We will be 5 days in Bangkok and 4 days in Koh Samui. We can not visit more cities because the truth is that 8 or 9 days (which actually are 11 days in total travel) don’t allow you to visit anything else, but I’m pretty sure that I will return to visit other areas.

The flight will be very sooo long and I think you know I’m not a big fan of airplanes… In fact, I do not like flying hahaha. We stopover in London to catch a 13 hours flight to Bangkok, I hope no not get in panic and disturb all the plane, hahaha.

And to say goodbye to Madrid I show you this outfit with one of my new favorite blazers for Spring: this light blue denim style one with tuxedo design, I love it! Of course my first choice to wear it has been combined with a total black look. Hope you like it!

¡Qué bien nos lo pasamos ayer en la merienda de Tatel! Muchas gracias a todos los que vinisteis y espero que os sirviese para conocerme un poco más.

Como ayer mismo expliqué, a la hora de vestirme cada día son mil los factores que influyen en mi look final. Por ejemplo mi estado de ánimo (súper importante haha), el tiempo que haga fuera, pero también veo si me quiero poner algo en concreto.

Es el caso de hoy ya que quería estrenar mis nuevos tacones en azul klein que me encantan. Son de ante fino así que sirven tanto para verano como para invierno. Al ser ya de un color llamativo opté por combinarlos con un pantalón negro y mi top semi transparente de pedrería y bordados en los mismos tonos. Así conseguí un look tricolor en gris, negro y azul real. ¿Qué os parece?

Y hoy ya si que si estoy muy nerviosa porque en menos de 24 horas estaré volando a Asia a un viaje que me apetece muchísimo y donde ya sabéis que celebraré además mi 30 cumpleaños. Os iré contando todo como siempre en directo a través de mi Snapchat (@itgirlmarta) y publicaré posts y fotos en mis redes sociales, sólo que el cambio horario no se cuándo me permitirá hacerlo hehe.

What a great time we had yesterday afternoon at Tatel tea time in Madrid! Thank you all for coming and hope that you had a good time and really enjoyed meeting me more closely.

As I explained yesterday, every day when I choose how to wear there are a thousand of factors that influence my final decision. For example my mood (super important haha), the weather outside, but I also see if I want to wear something specific in particular.

This is today’s case because I wanted to release my new heels in klein blue that I really love. They are so stylish and in thin suede so we can wear them for both summer and winter time. I decided to combine them with black skinny ripped jeans and my top semi transparent with embroidery in the same tones. So I got a tricolor look with the gray jacket and details of the top, black and royal blue. What do you think about it?

And today I’m very nervous because in less than 24 hours I’ll be flying to Asia on a trip that I have always wanted to make. I feel so blessed about this and I will also celebrate there my 30th birthday next Wednesday! I’ll tell you everything live as always through my Snapchat (@itgirlmarta) and I publish posts and photos on my social networks, but have in mind the hour difference will change a little bite…

Powerful women

¡Hola a todos!

Como sabéis estoy estos días en Barcelona por varios eventos y trabajos que tenía aquí y me he venido con mis amigos Isabel y Carlos.

Anoche estuvimos en la presentación del anuncio de Freixenet de este año, y desde luego el evento fue de poner los pelos de punta. No sólo por la realización que hay detrás del mismo, el equipo, las semanas de duro trabajo, etc. sino porque este año las protagonistas son las que para mi se llevan todo el mérito. Y es que la firma catalana ha escogido al equipo olímpico de gimnasia rítmica para protagonizar su esperado anuncio navideño de este año. Las seis chicas, campeonas olímpicas, han dado todo de si mismas para que podamos ver un anuncio desde mi punto de vista sin precedentes. No, no son “famosas” como Messi, Cristiano, o un actor/actriz X, pero seguramente ninguno de nosotros sabríamos hacer lo que ellas hacen con las cintas, pelotas y con sus propios cuerpos aunque ensayásemos durante meses…

El anuncio se estrenó en el Museo Nacional Marítimo, en Barcelona. Un lugar precioso lleno de encanto y magia para una noche donde todo destacaba por “brillar”. Este es el lema de este año de la marca, brillar.

Pero si os estoy contando toda esta historia es porque quiero destacar lo importante que es el papel de la mujer hoy en día. Nosotras podemos si, y lo demostramos cada día. Madres casadas, madres solteras, chicas jóvenes, estudiantes, mujeres mayores,… todas luchamos a diario por conseguir por fin la igualdad definitiva con ellos, y lo conseguiremos. Estas chicas contaban anoche que cuando recibieron la medalla olímpica!! (algo que no se consigue todos los días, claro!) no había nadie más que sus familias esperándoles en el aeropuerto… Sin embargo nos volvemos locos cuando vemos a X futbolista o cantante?! Por favor valoremos un poco el esfuerzo y trabajo de la gente luchadora, constante, y que persigue sus sueños. Y tomemos ejemplo de este tipo de personas.

Yo qué queréis que os diga, empezando por mi madre y siguiendo por mis abuelas, tías, hermana, primas, … vengo de una familia de luchadoras, y no todas han tenido siempre al destino de su parte, pero nunca nos hemos rendido.

¡A mí me encanta ser mujer! Y estoy orgullosa de ello y de poder luchar cada día por un futuro digno para todas.

Dicho esto, os dejo las últimas fotos con una de las chaquetas en verde militar y detalle de espiga dorados, de mujer a mujer (que la fotógrafa Paloma es una crack).

Hi there everyone!

As you know I am these days in Barcelona to attend to some events and jobs that I have here and I have the good company of my lovely friends Isabel and Carlos.

Last night we were at the presentation of the new Freixenet advertisement for this year, and this year the event was very emotive. Not only for all the work that is behind it, the team, the weeks of hard work, etc. but because this year the stars are, at least to me, the best ones in years. The Spanish cava brand has chosen the Olympic rhythmic gymnastics team to star in this new commercial for this year’s Christmas. The six girls team, Olympic champions, have given everything of themselves so we can see an enjoy this advertisement from my point of view, unprecedented. No, they are not “famous” like Messi, Cristiano, or an actor/actress, but surely none of us would be able to do what they do with ribbons, balls and even their own bodies even practising for months…

The advertisement premiered at the National Maritime Museum in Barcelona. A beautiful place full of charm and magic for a night where everything “shine”. This was the mood of this year’s brand, to shine.

But if I am telling you this story is because I want to emphasize how important the role of women today is. Yes, we can, and we prove it every day. Married mothers, single mothers, young girls, students, older women… all of them fight daily to finally get the equality with them, and we will. These girls that won the Olympic medal!! (something you do not get every day, of course!), when they arrived to Spain there were anyone but their families waiting at the airport… To me this is really crazy, they are champions! And we got crazy when we see X football player or singer?! Please, let’s value a little effort and the work of the fighter women, steady people, that follow their dreams. And let’s take example of this kind of people.

I want to tell you that starting with my mother and continue with my grandmothers, aunts, sister, cousins,… I come from a family of fighters women, and not all have always had the destiny by their side, but we have never give up on anything.

I love being a woman! And I’m proud of it and I will keep on fighting every day to make the future easier for us.

Behind the scenes…

¡Buenos días!

Una de las cosas que os he comentado mil veces que más me gusta de mi trabajo es conocer a personas increíbles y además pasármelo bien.

Aunque estas fotos son para una revista (yo las comparto con vosotros sin retocar pero ya sabéis que para editoriales siempre se cuida hasta el último detalle así que saldrán más retocadas) pero he querido compartir algunas de ellas con vosotros para que veáis cómo vivimos el “detrás de las cámaras”. Yo no soy perfecta, pero es que tampoco busco serlo, me encanta que cada uno tengamos nuestros defectos y virtudes, eso es lo que nos hace más humanos. Bueno, ¡os avisaré cuando salga la revista para que la compremos todos!

A mi personalmente no me gusta salir en las fotos seria. Cuando tengo que hacer algún shooting que requiere que esté más seria me pongo nerviosa porque no se ponerme seria, y además luego en las fotos finales no me siento tan identificada, no me reconozco. Estoy acostumbrada a ir con una sonrisa en la cara aunque ya sabéis que la procesión se lleva por dentro… hehe.

En fin, que para mi es un lujazo poder disfrutar de mi trabajo con gente tan profesional como es todo el equipo de The Extreme Collection pero sobre todo me alegra poder ser yo misma con ellos y eso se nota siempre en el resultado final.

No os olvidéis de ser siempre vosotros mismos, de no perder vuestra esencia.

Good Morning!

One of the things that I have told you a thousand times that I like most about my job is meeting incredible people and also to have fun, to enjoy what I do.

Although these pictures are for a magazine (I wanted to share them with you unretouched but you know that for a fashion editorial always need to take care of every single detail so they will be a little bit different) I wanted to show you some of them so you can see how is the live “behind the scenes”. I’m not a perfect woman, and actually I don’t wan to be either. I try to be always as much natural as possible. We all have strengths and weaknesses but this is what in the end make us human. I will let you know when will be launched the magazine so we all can buy it!

I personally do not like to posh serious in the photos. Sincerely it’s not my style. When I have to do some shooting that requires me to be more serious I get nervous because I really do not know how to be like serious, and also in the final photos then I do not feel so identified, I do not recognise myself. I’m used to go with a smile on my face every day no matter what problems I’m passing through… all of us have our personal things.

Anyway, I feel so lucky and blessed to enjoy like this my work with people as professional as the entire team of The Extreme Collection but mostly I’m happy to be myself with them and that is always shown in the final result.

Do not forget never to be just yourself, always. Which is not an easy thing nowadays…

Shooting at the rooftop

Otra de las cosas que más me ha gustado de mi viaje a Israel es la cantidad de diseñadores muy buenos y potentes que hemos tenido la ocasión de conocer.

Por ejemplo yo me enamoré de este conjunto de crop top cruzado y atado a la espalda a juego con esta falda midi, todo de estampado floral, muy del estilo sesentero que me gusta a mí. Como calzado escogí mis sandalias de cordones de esta temporada en color camel. Las joyas son de una de las mejores joyerías del país y yo escogí un reloj estilo vintage y un maxi anillo.

Fue una tarde muy divertida porque después de que nos maquillasen y peinasen subimos a la azotea para hacer el shooting pero mirad qué picnic nos trajeron, ¡todo buenísimo! Os he dejado también algunas fotos divertidas con Carlitos en el momento en que abrimos la botella de champán y nos empapamos haha.

Ahora me voy corriendo a grabar un vídeo muy especial para mi sobre todo por el significado solidario que tiene, ya sabéis que me encanta participar en acciones de ayuda a los demás siempre que puedo. ¡Dentro de poquito os lo contaré todo por aquí!

Another thing that I liked about my trip to Israel is the cool and powerful designers that we have had the opportunity to meet in person.

For example, I fell in love with this set of crop crossed and tied to the back matching this skirt midi style, floral print all and very sixties style as I like it. As shoes I picked my laces sandals from this season in camel color. The jewels are from a top jewellery of the country and I chose a vintage kind of watch and a XL size ring.

It was a fun evening because after we had a make up and hair session we went up to the rooftop of the house to make the shooting but look what they brought us: a super picnic, hehe, amazing! I also wanted to show you some funny pictures with Carlitos and me when we opened the champagne bottle and we get soaked haha.

Now I’m running to record a special video for me because of its significance of solidarity, you know that I love to participate in actions to help others whenever I can. Very soon I will tell you all the details here!

Addicted to black

Soy adicta al negro. Lo reconozco. Ya sabéis que es mi color favorito a la hora de vestir junto con el blanco. Además es un color que nos sirve para casi cualquier acto que tengamos, desde para ir al trabajo hasta para una ocasión más especial.

Hoy os enseño este mono de tirantes con volantes por el que me habéis preguntado mucho en las redes sociales. Es muy fresquito para las altas temperaturas que estamos teniendo estos días y además la forma del escote delantero le da un toque sexy pero elegante. Lo he combinado con mis sandalias negras con tiras con pequeños lacitos. Como accesorios he escogido todos en plata: el bolso sabéis que es de mis favoritos para días más arreglados y me gusta por el tamaño que es el perfecto y las piedras de colores que le dan un punto más juvenil. Llevo dos brazaletes XL con infinito, que sabéis que este símbolo significa mucho para mi y lo llevo tatuado en el costado izquierdo. Termino con un pequeño y discreto collar de plata y un par de anillos finitos.

Y antes de despedirme os quiero informar de dos buenas noticias. La primera es que desde mañana me podréis ver también en el programa Xtra del mismo canal, Non Stop People, todos los lunes y miércoles por la noche presentando una sección nueva de Youtube. Y la segunda es que aparte de poder verme en Movistar TV (dial 23) también podéis hacerlo ya en Canal Plus. ¡Estoy muy contenta con este nuevo proyecto!

I’m addicted to black. I do admit it. You know that is my favorite color to wear also combined with white. It is also a color that we can dress in almost any event we have: from going to work every day to also going to a special date.

Today I show you this strapless ruffled playsuit that you have asked me about on my social networks. It is very cool and a good option to fight against these high temperatures we are having these days and also the neckline of the front gives a sexy but elegant touch. I have combined it with my black sandals with straps and little bows on top. I have chosen all accessories in silver: this cute bag is one of my favs when I need to dress more stylish and I like the size and the colored stones that give a more youthful point. I’m also wearing two XL bracelets with infinite, you know that this symbol means a lot to me and I have a mini tattoo on my left side. I finish the outfit with a small silver necklace and a pair of thin rings, the kind of jewels that I like to wear.

And just to finish today’s post I want to inform you about two good news. The first one is that since tomorrow you can also watch me in the same channel, Non Stop People, at Xtra TV show, every Monday and Wednesday night introducing a new section of YouTube. And the second is that apart from being able to watch these programs in Movistar TV (dial 23) since today you can also do it in Canal Plus. I am very happy with this new project!

Barcelona wedding

¡Buenos días!

De nuevo Lunes y comenzamos nueva semana yo con las pilas muy cargadas por el fin de semana de relax, diversión y desconexión que he pasado en Barcelona.

Como la mayoría sabréis llegué a Barcelona el viernes por la mañana para asistir a un par de reuniones y luego pasé el día en el lounge del Hotel donde me hospedaba, Hotel Hilton Diagonal Mar en frente del mar. Es uno de los hoteles que más me gustan de Barcelona sobre todo en esta época del año porque ya habéis visto su zona de piscina y al estar frente al mar hace que tenga aún mejores vistas. Esta zona de piscina y chill out pertenece además a Puro Beach por lo que está cuidado hasta el último detalle.

Pero el motivo principal de mi viaje a Barcelona era la boda de una gran amiga mía y mejor aún persona, mi tocaya Marti! (más conocida como romper86 en Youtube o Marta Riumbau en las redes sociales). Nos hicimos muy amigas hace ya varios años al trabajar en el mismo sector y desde entonces no ha habido problemas en que vivamos en distintas ciudades: hablamos todas las semanas y nos vemos siempre que podemos. Por eso estoy muy muy feliz por ella porque no ha podido encontrar a mejor compañero de vida que a Borja, también ya buen amigo mío, que la adora y juntos van a comenzar otra nueva etapa aún más felices si cabe. ¡Mil gracias por todo chicos!

Os cuento algunos detalles de la boda que me habéis preguntando… La ceremonia religiosa se celebró en la Parroquia Santa María Reina y luego nos trasladamos todos a la final Bell Recó. El lugar era de ensueño desde luego. El vestido y complementos de Marta eran de Teresa Helbig, estaba impresionantemente guapa con un diseño muy sencillo de manga larga y escote de espalda y lo más importante: una larga cola y velo. La primera canción que bailaron los novios fue “Thinking out loud” de Edd Sheeran, una de mis canciones favoritas así que yo con los pelos de punta viendo el baile que nos prepararon los novios.

Y para terminar hablemos del look que escogí. Después de todo el revuelo que se ha montando respecto a mi vestido me gustaría decir varias cosas. Lo primero es que Marta es mi amiga y ya sabía cómo era el vestido. Además es rosa, no blanco o beige o blanco roto. Es rosa y el rosa clarito es un color perfectamente aceptable en cualquier boda. Y lo escogí largo aunque ya sabéis que no soy muy de ir de largo a las bodas pero en esta en concreto así se indicaba y así iban todas las invitadas. Es ajustado y lleva un forro de raso con una capa de encaje desde el cuello hasta los pies. Como calzado para las fotos volví a recurrir a mis salones color nude de aguja pero para la boda al ser un terreno más complicado me puse mis sandalias abiertas en el mismo tono pero con tacón más ancho y algo de plataforma para no arrastrar tanto el vestido. Como clutch el mismo que el fin de semana pasado en tonos dorados y ninguna joya, que sabéis que soy muy sencilla.

El peinado por el que también me habéis preguntado bastante me lo hice en el Salón Anna Riu en la calle Valencia 306. Anna tiene la suerte de tener a un equipazo que desde el primer momento me ayudaron y asesoraron para conseguir el resultado final que me visteis en las fotos. Llevo una trenza de raíz en la derecha que termina en la izquierda con el pelo suelto con ligeras ondas al aire. ¡Me encantó!

En estas llevo el pelo mojado porque el shooting lo hicimos en el hotel al no tener más tiempo el día de la boda.

Para terminar quiero darle las gracias a mi querida Mónica, del blog Mes Voyages a Paris que me hizo estas fabulosas fotos y con la que me lo pasé genial en la boda. ¡Besitos a Alberto y a ti mi amor!

Morning guys!

Monday again and we have started a new week full of energy thanks to this weekend of relax, fun and disconnection that we have lived in Barcelona.

As many of you will know we arrived in Barcelona on Friday morning to attend some meetings and then we spent the rest of the day in the lounge of the hotel where we was staying, Hilton Diagonal Mar Hotel just in front of the sea. It is one of the hotels that I like most in Barcelona especially at this time of the year because you have seen their pool area and lounge and being just with the sea in front gives it even better views. The pool area and chill out also belongs to Puro Beach company so they take care of every single detail for you to feel as much comfortable as posible.

But the main reason for my trip to Barcelona was the wedding of a very close friend of mine and even better person, my namesake Marti! (Better known as romper86 on Youtube and Riumbau Marta on the social networks). We became very good friends some years ago as we work in the same fashion industry and since then there have been no problems about living in different cities, we talk almost every week and we see each other whenever we can. So I’m really very happy for her because she couldn’t have found a better life partner than Borja. He is also a good friend of mine, who adores her and together they will begin a new life even happier if possible. Thanks for everything guys, I really had a wonderful day, I love you!

Now I want to tell you some details of the wedding that you have asked me about… The religious ceremony was held in Parroquia Santa María Reina and then we moved for the celebration to Bell Reco place. The place was heavenly indeed, like from a fairy tale. The dress and accessories that Marta were wearing were from Teresa Helbig, she was so so beautiful with a very simple design with long sleeves and neckline back and most importantly, a long train and veil. The first song they danced together was “Thinking Out Loud” of Edd Sheeran, one of my favorite songs too so you can imagine my feelings listening to it and seeing these guys dancing the cool dance they prepared for us…

And finally let’s talk about the look I chose. After all the comments and all kind of reactions about my dress I want to say some things. First of all is that Marta is my friend and she knew how was my dress. Also I’d like to say that it is pink, not white or beige or dark white. It is pink and soft pink is a perfectly acceptable color in any wedding. And I chose long even when you know I’m not use to wear long dresses to any event or to go to the weddings but this specifically said that, so all the women invited to the wedding were wearing long dresses. It’s tight and it wears a satin lining with a layer of lace from neck to toe. As heels for the pics I chose my red soles in nude color but for the wedding as it was a more complicated terrain I got my peep toes sandals in the same tone but with heels wider and some platform not keep off the dress. As clutch I was wearing the same of the last weekend in gold and no jewels, you know that I am very simple and don’t use to wear anything either earrings, bracelets or necklaces.

The hairstyle which also you have asked me about I did it at the Anna Riu Saloon at 306 Valencia Street. I do admit that I had a great team that from the first moment as all the team helped and advised me to get the final result you saw on my pics. I was wearing a braid on the right side that ended on the left side with the hair with light waves in the air. I loved it!

I have these wet hair on these pics because we did the shooting at the hotel the day before as we didn’t have time the wedding day.

Finally I want to thankful my dear Monica, author of the blog Mes Voyages a Paris, that made me these great photos and with which I had a super funny day at the wedding. Many kisses to Alberto and to you my love!
