¡Las Vegas, baby!

Todavía no me puedo creer que por fin haya podido visitar esta mítica ciudad del estado de Nevada que tanto había visto en las películas americanas.

La verdad es que me ha gustado mucho y me recordaba a Broadway en Nueva York pero elevado a la décima potencia, aunque también he de decir que es cierto que no es una ciudad para mí. Me encanta porque está llena de luces, de vida, de gente, de shows, de restaurantes, de las mejores tiendas, de casinos por supuesto… es decir, aquí no se aburre nadie y puedes hacer cualquier cosa que se te ocurra. Pero por otra parte lo veo todo un poco artificial como para poder llevar una vida de diario allí, aunque esta es sólo mi opinión personal.

Nos hospedamos en el Hotel Four Seasons de Las Vegas que está situado en plena calle principal, Las Vegas Boulevard, a unos 5 minutos andando del centro y con unas vistas espectaculares a toda la ciudad. Es mucho mejor porque así estábamos un poco apartados de tanto jaleo y bullicio diario que hay a todas horas pero caminando unos minutos ya nos plantábamos en el centro de todo. Para mí es la mejor opción si visitáis Las Vegas.

Y los días que estoy pasando en LA se resumen en lo siguiente: me levanto bastante pronto sobre las 7 de la mañana, desayuno y trabajo un rato con el ordenador, después me voy a hacer fotos y a descubrir nuevos espacios y lugares para vosotros entre reunión y reunión, y por último sobre las 18h vuelvo a casa para cenar y seguir trabajando. Por eso encontrar un momento como este de relax para leer o desayunar con calma, de verdad que no tiene precio para mí.

Las Vegas, baby!

I still can’t believe that I finally has the opportunity to come to visit this mythical city in the state of Nevada that we all have seen in many American films.

The truth is that I liked it and it reminded me of Broadway Street in New York city but so much bigger, but I must also say that it certainly is not a city for me. I love it because it is full of light, life, people, shows, restaurants, best shops and stores, casinos of course… so here nobody gets bored and you can do anything you can think of. But then I see everything a little bit artificial for having a daily lifestyle here, although this is only my personal opinion.

We stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel of Las Vegas which is located directly on the main street, Las Vegas Boulevard, about 5 minutes walking from the city center and offering spectacular views of the city. It is so much better because we were a little away from the crowded centre and the daily bustle there at any time of the day but walking distance  so you can get there in just a few minutes. For me it is the best choice if you are planing to visit Las Vegas.

And the days I’m spending in LA are like this: I get up pretty early around 7am, I have breakfast while I do some work with my computer, then I go to take pictures and to discover new areas and places for you between meeting and meeting, and finally about 18h in the afternoon I go home to have dinner and continue working. So having some time like this to relax, and read or to have breakfast calmly, is really priceless to me.
