¡Buenos días a todos!

Primer post sobre mi viaje y experiencia en Ginebra.

La verdad es que conocía algunas ciudades de Suiza pero esta en concreto no, y me ha encantado. Es una ciudad de unos 500.000 habitantes donde se puede ir a casi todas partes caminando o en transporte público como el tranvía.

Me ha enamorado además por el olor a queso en casi todas sus calles ya que sabéis que soy adicta hehe. Además son los maestros chocolateros y en el vídeo que os dejo podéis ver todo lo que hicimos incluida la visita a una de las fábricas de chocolate más conocidas: Chocolaterie du Rhône.

Una de las cosas que me llevo de esta experiencia es a la gente. El equipo que fuimos fue de lo más divertido y como vais a ver en el vídeo no dejamos de reírnos, de bailar, de hacer vídeos y fotos de todo… la verdad es que es muy importante en este tipo de acciones que haya buena armonía y me ha encantado conocerles a todos.

Sin duda el momento de relax del día fue el que pasamos en Bain Bleu, los mejores baños termales y spa de la ciudad.

Y arrancamos nueva semana en Madrid aunque la terminaré en Estados Unidos… Hoy tenemos shooting para una revista. Mañana me operan de la vista por fin. El miércoles tenemos un par de reuniones importantes y ya el jueves vuelvo a cruzar el charco… ¡que el ritmo no pare familia!

Good morning people!

First post about my last trip and experience in Geneva.

The truth is that I already had been in some cities of Switzerland but this one in particular I hadn’t been before, and I do loved it. It is a city of about 500,000 inhabitants where you can go almost everywhere walking or in public transport like the tram.

I have also fallen in love with the smell of cheese in almost all its streets since you know that I am a big fan of cheese hehe. In addition to this they are the world’s most famous masters chocolatiers and on this video you can see everything that we did including the visit to one of the most well known chocolate factories: Chocolaterie du Rhône. 

One of the things that I bring with me from this amazing experience is the people. The team we went was super fun and as you can see in the video we do not stop laughing, dancing, making videos and photos of everything… the truth is that this is very important in this kind of work because it is very necessary to have good harmony between all of us. I was delighted to meet you all guys!

Without any doubt the best “me-time” was the time at the coolest spa and thermal waters place: Bain Bleu.

And we start a new week in Madrid, although I will end it in the United States… Today we have shooting for a magazine. Tomorrow is finally my eyes operation. On Wednesday we have a couple of important meetings and on Thursday I will travel to America again… don’t stop the party! hahaha.

¡Buenos días desde Madrid amigos!

Ya estoy de vuelta por la capital para comenzar un nuevo curso lleno de ilusión, proyectos muy bonitos y divertidos y sobre todo para engancharme de nuevo con vosotros.

Os quiero dejar este vídeo que grabé y edité en Marbella estas vacaciones pero que no he podido compartir hasta ahora porque el wifi de allí no va muy bien…

Good morning from Madrid my friends!

Now I’m back in the capital to start a new year full of happiness, very nice and fun projects and especially to be closer  again to you.

I wanted to show you this video that I have prepared and edited in Marbella these holidays but I could not share with you until now because the wifi there was not working so well…

¡Nuevo SÚPER vídeo en mi canal de Youtube!

Por fin puedo compartir con vosotros un vídeo muy especial en el que no sólo os hablo de mis regalos de cumple más especiales sino, como siempre, un poco más sobre mí y mi vida.

Aunque ya os lo cuento en el vídeo y se que la mayoría lo sabéis me gustaría contaros rápidamente por aquí lo importante que es esto para mí…

Como sabéis el viernes me levanté a las 5am para ir a Girona, volví a Madrid a las 20h y me fui a casa y a dormir ya que ayer sábado estaba a las 9am en pie de nuevo para grabar este vídeo entre otros, y para hacer las fotos semanales de mi blog para vosotros. Estoy muy contenta con mi trabajo siempre lo digo, y me siento muy afortunada, pero simplemente me gustaría que valoraseis también el esfuerzo que hay detrás. Yo trabajo 24/7, sin parar. Intento inspirarme a diario, tener ideas originales para nuevos vídeos o pensar looks que os puedan gustar y siempre que encajen con mi estilo.

Este vídeo que grabé ayer como os digo, me ha costado 6h montarlo, si si, 6 horas… casi 20 minutos de vídeo metiendo emoticonos, fotos, música diferente, sonidos, otros mini-vídeos a la vez… no es nada fácil. Me acosté a las 4am ayer (lo publiqué por Snapchat) y son las 9am y estoy escribiendo esto… E insisto, estoy muy muy feliz de poder compartirlo con todos vosotros, con mi súper #martacarriedofamily, pero simplemente quería que supieseis una vez más que “no es oro todo lo que reluce”.

Dicho esto… ¡espero que os guste el vídeo! Como veis es de muuuucha mejor calidad y es un formato nuevo que aún intento terminar de controlar bien del todo, donde juego más con el tema de edición para poder compartir con vosotros más vídeos originales y divertidos como este.

New SUPER video on my YouTube channel!

I can finally share with you a very special video in which I not only speak about my most special birthday gifts but, as always, a little more about me and my lifestyle.

Although I tell you in the video and most of you know it, I would like to quickly tell you here how important this is to me…

As you know on Friday I got up at 5am to go to Girona, I returned to Madrid at 8pm and I went home to sleep because on Saturday, yesterday, I woke up at 9am again to record this video and others, and to take my weekly pictures for my blog. I am very happy with my work, I have always said this, and I feel very lucky too, but I would like you to know just the effort behind. I work 24/7, non-stop. I try to get inspired daily, to have original ideas for new videos or think about new looks that you will like always according with my style.

This video I recorded yesterday as I say, it took me 6 hours to finish it, yes, six hours… almost 20 minutes of video introducing new emoticons, pictures, different music, sounds, other mini-videos… it is not as easy as it seems. I went to bed at 4am yesterday (I posted it on my Snapchat) and here I am, 9am, and I am writing these words to you… I repeat one more time that I am very very happy to share it with you, with my super #martacarriedofamily, but I just wanted you to know that “it is not gold all that shines.”

Said this… I hope you enjoy this new video!!! As you can see it has sooo much better quality and is a new format that I’m still trying to control well. I play more with the theme editor and all the tools of the program to share with you more original and funny videos like this one.

Pues como siempre para terminar la semana os traigo nuevo videopost… hoy sobre mis manías, ¡qué miedo! hehe.

La verdad es que tengo algunas… pero bueno, yo creo que es algo normal en todos. También es cierto que creo que han ido creciendo desde que me fui a vivir sola, o al menos se han acentuado. Pero aquí el que esté libre de pecado que tire la primera piedra ¿no? De todas formas he ido aprendiendo a lo largo de estos años de vida que la gente puede modificar algunas conductas… pero nunca cambiar completamente. Somos como somos, y eso es algo que se lleva dentro, es muy difícil lo de cambiar radicalmente… así que es importante llegar a conocer bien a la gente que nos rodea para saber cómo son en realidad, y luego decidir si nos aportan algo positivo o si seguimos cada uno por nuestro camino…

Os dejo con el vídeo y os deseo un feliz Domingo a todos. (Hoy en Madrid está lloviendo así que es el día perfecto para quedarnos calentitos en casita!)

As usually, to finish the week I bring you a new videopost… today about my obsessions… OMG! hehe.

The truth is that I have many many… but hey, I think that is normal in all people. It is also true that they have been growing up since I went to live alone, or at least they have increased. But who is not ‘guilty’? I think that we all have these kind of obsessions or ways to do our things, and we can modify some attitudes but never change. We are who we are, I have learnt this through all my years, people never completely change. It is very important to try to know perfectly the people around us and see if they bring positive things to our lives… If not, then it’s not something bad to keep on living each one by its way and maybe destiny will meet us again in the future…

Miércoles significa nuevo videopost en el blog y hoy os traigo los nuevos productos que vienen en la cajita de Birchbox de este mes.

Aunque en el vídeo os cuento y os explico todo me encanta sentir cómo se va acercando la Navidad… Esa época del año en la que como siempre os digo, y, al menos aparentemente, parece que nos volvemos más buenos y más humanos más cariñosos con los demás. Este ambiente se puede empezar a sentir ya con la caja de este mes.

Y si, anoche estuve en la fiesta de Calvin Klein Jeans y aunque ya os conté y enseñé todo a través de mis redes sociales intentaré también preparar un post para el blog como me habéis pedido.

Hoy de nuevo toca otro día súper largo así que vamos a ello.

Wednesday means new video post on the blog and today I show you the new products that come inside the Birchbox beauty box of this month.

Although in the video I show you and I explain you everything I really love the feeling that Christmas is coming… This time of the year in which as always I say, and, at least apparently, it seems that we become more kind and more human, it seems that we love more the people around us. Some of these things you can start feeling with this month box. 

And yes, last night I was at the Calvin Klein Jeans party and although I told you and show you all through my social networks I will also try to prepare a post for the blog as you have asked me.

Una vez más vuestros deseos son órdenes para mi… así que aquí tenéis el videopost que me habéis pedido con varias ideas sobre cómo combinar el top negro de encaje que me visteis hace poco en las redes sociales.

Antes de dejaros con el vídeo donde os explico los 5 looks que he escogido para enseñaros (que os mostraré muchos más en otros posts) quiero deciros un par de cosas:

1. Muchísimas gracias por todos los mensajes de apoyo que recibo. Y sobre todo estos días que sigo malita desde la semana pasada… os aseguro que se agradecen mucho.

2. Lo siento mucho!! pero no puedo contestar a todos los mails y mensajes privados  que me enviáis, porfi, enviadme todo en Instagram que es la que más al día llevo… Pero me es imposible ya por falta de tiempo material contestar a los más de 100 directs que tengo ya en Instagram o a los miles de mails con dudas… Eso sí, leo todo, ¡TODO! y me encanta leer las historias tan bonitas que me contáis muchas y poder ayudaros en vuestras vidas a tomar decisiones importantes, ¡esto si que me alegra muchísimo!

3. No compro seguidores, ni he comprado, ni compro likes, ni tonterías de estas. Es decir, me cuesta mucho mucho ganar mi dinero, haber empezado de cero todo esto y haber llegado hasta donde estoy y no lo voy a “despilfarrar” en eso. Otra cosa es poner algún anuncio de vez en cuando en Facebook, pero bueno, otro día os explicaré en otro vídeo todas las estrategias comerciales que existen y las que yo utilizo, ¿vale?

One more time I’m working on what you ask me… so here it is the videopost you have asked me many times about sharing with you some ideas of how to combine my black lace top that you saw me recently through my social networks.

Before leaving you with the video where I explain the 5 looks that I have chosen this time (I will show you many others in coming posts) I want to say to you a couple of things:

1. Thank you for all the support message I receive every day but especially these days that I have been sick since last week… I do appreciate this guys, thank you so much.

2. I’m sooo sorry but I can not answer all emails and private messages that you send me, please please, send me everything through Instagram because is the social network that I use most every day… But I really do not have time to answer more than 100 directs that I already have on Instagram or thousands of emails with different questions… Of course I read everything, EVERYTHING! and I love reading the beautiful stories that you tell me because I’m so happy to can help you in your life to take important decisions, I am truly delighted about this!

3. I do not buy followers, I haven’t done this, or buy likes, or such nonsense. I can hardly earn my own money in this difficult world, I have started from the very beginning all this and I have worked so hard to come to where I am and I will not “waste” my money in it. Another thing is to put an ad from time to time on Facebook, but ok, another day I will explain all these actions on another video, all my business strategies that exist and the ones I use, okay?

¿Cómo ha ido vuestra noche de Halloween? ¿Algún muerto que merezca la pena destacar? hehehe.

Yo tuve una cena con amigos en otro de mis restaurantes favoritos de Madrid pero no salimos de fiesta porque ya venía yo arrastrando sueño de toda la semana y del viernes…

Y como más vale tarde que nunca aquí tenéis el vídeopost de los Domingos que por cierto es muy divertido y especial.

Hoy nos hemos levantado con ganas de ir a pasear por el Retiro aprovechando que hacía un buen día otoñal y además es una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer cuando tengo un ratito libre…

Por eso he cogido mi bici vintage que me encanta y hemos alquilado otra en Bici Madrid y nos hemos ido a dar una vuelta al parque. Hemos ido parando para hacer vídeos y por cierto, no es nada fácil eso de ir montando en bici a la vez que se graba… ¡tiene mucho mérito!

Ahora con este buen sabor de boca de finde completito y súper feliz me despido hasta mañana, ¡que yo si trabajo! A los que estéis de puente os deseo que lo disfrutéis mucho y a los que tengáis que trabajar como yo ¡ánimo y a por todas, como siempre!

How was your Halloween night guys? Any walking dead worth saying? hehehe.

I had a dinner with some friends in another of my favorite restaurants in Madrid but we didn’t went party on Saturday because I was already very tired for all the working week and for the Friday night…

And better late than never here you have Sunday’s videopost which is very fun and special for me, hope that you enjoy it as much as me.

Today we woke up wanting to go for a walk to the Retiro’s park taking advantage of the nice autumn day at the city and you know that this is one of the things I like to do when I have some free time…

So I took my vintage bike that I really love and we rented another one in Bici Madrid and we have gone to stroll around the park. We have been stopping to take videos and of course pics, but this is not easy to go riding a bike while recording … this really has so much merit!

Now with the good taste of a super happy and fully weekend I leave you until tomorrow, because yes, I have to work! For those of you that have taken this long weekend enjoy it so much and to those of you who have to work like me, let’s do this and go for it, as always!

¡Pensemos en rosa!

Lo que más me gusta del videopost de hoy es el significado que hay detrás de la nueva cajita de Birchbox de Octubre: el apoyo a todas las mujeres que han sufrido cáncer de mama, terrible enfermedad, pero la mayoría de las cuales han sido fuertes y han conseguido vencerlo. Las mujeres tenemos una fuerza innata y esto lo siento chicos pero es así, sino no seríamos las que tendríamos los hijos…

Porque la vida se trata de eso: de sacar fuerzas de donde no las hay, de tocar fondo y coger impulso para volver a subir, de sonreír aunque queramos llorar, de mirar la botella medio llena siempre, de ser felices e intentar hacer a los demás felices también, de hacer todo con ilusión y ganas porque el que la sigue la consigue y gana, siempre.

Think in pink!

What I really like about today’s video post is the meaning behind the new box of October Birchbox: the support to all women who have had breast cancer, a terrible disease, but most of them have been strong and they have managed how to overcome it. Women have an innate strength and I’m sorry guys but this is true, otherwise we would not be the ones that have the children…

Because life is about this: to be strong enough when we don’t feel that well, to fall down until the very bottom and to climb to the top again, even if we don’t have the mood don’t forget to smile at life, looking at the bottle half full always, to be happy and try to make others happy too, to do everything with happiness and desire because the ones who fight and never give up are the ones that will win, always.

¡Hey hey hey! ¡Bienvenido 2015!

Y como ya sabéis yo lo he comenzado por tierras vascas, más concretamente en Bilbao donde además pude conoceros a algunas de vosotras, no hay nada que me haya hecho más ilusión para empezar el nuevo año.

Ya que no pasaré muchos días aquí porque mañana tengo que volver a Madrid para seguir trabajando duro y preparando el año que me espera (que os aseguro que hay muchas cosas que os van a encantar y sorprender), he querido aprovechar las horas al máximo. Es por esto que el mismo día 1 en cuanto nos levantamos nos fuimos a dar un paseo en bici por la Ría de Bilbao aprovechando en espectacular día de sol que hacía. Pasamos por el Museo Marítimo y llegamos por el paseo de Abando Ibarra hasta El Arenal, tenéis más detalles de este paseo en mi NUEVO VÍDEO de mi canal de Youtube donde además os felicito el año nuevo.

Escogí un look muy sencillo y abrigado (las bajas temperaturas aquí no te las quita nadie hehe) con un abrigo marrón de borrego, unos jeans negros, una camisa beige y una chaqueta de lana en burdeos con botas burdeos a juego. Son mi última adquisición y la verdad es que estoy enamorada de ellas tanto por el diseño como por lo cómodas que son, ¿qué os parecen a vosotros?

Hey hey hey! Welcome 2015!

And as you know I’ve begun it in Basque lands, specifically in Bilbao where I also could meet some of you guys, there is nothing  better and more excited to me to start the new year.

I will not stay many days here because tomorrow I have to go back to Madrid to keep on working hard and preparing al the projects for the new year (I can assure you that there are many good things that you will love and be surprise), I wanted to do as much things as posible. That is why the firs day of the year we went for a bike ride along the Ria in Bilbao taking advantage of the spectacular sunny day that it was here. We passed the Maritime Museum and we arrived for the ride of Abando Ibarra to El Arenal. You have more details about this ride on my NEW VIDEO from my Youtube channel where I will also wish you the best wishes for the new year.

I chose a very simple and warm look (the low temperatures are something usual here) with a brown sheepskin coat, black jeans, a beige shirt and a wool burgundy jacket matching my new boots. They are my latest acquisition and the truth is that I’m in love with them because I really like the design and they are really comfy for my day a day, what do you think about them?
