¡Buenos días desde Londres!

Y cómo no, día nublado por aquí… la verdad es que echo de menos levantarme con el solazo y el cielo tan azul de Madrid hehe.

Último post en el blog sobre mis vacaciones con otro de los monos por el que me habéis preguntado bastante. Fotos en la bonita playa de Valdevaqueros en Tarifa que ya habéis visto en otros posts.

Y os quiero contar algo que no se si sabéis pero que quiero compartir con vosotros a cerca de mi trabajo para que veáis una vez más lo transparente que me gusta ser.

Este mono, ¡me encanta! Me parece perfecto para mí: color neutral, pantalón estilo midi y con escote de espalda. Entonces, ¿qué problema tengo? El problema que tenemos con estas cosas las bloggers e influencers es que luego no nos lo podemos poner siempre que queramos porque a las marcas no les sale rentable que saquemos algo que no sea de temporada y a vosotras no os gusta ver algo que no os podéis comprar… Así que esto es lo que me pasa con la mayoría de la ropa que saco, que me la puedo poner un par de veces para enseñárosla y luego nunca más. ¡Da rabia!

En fin, como sabéis sigo en Londres así que me voy corriendo a desayunar con unas amigas y a varias reuniones con marcas de aquí que tengo después… pero mañana ya estaré de vuelta por Madrid. ¡Echo de menos levantarme con sol! hehe.

Good morning from London!

And of course it’s another cloudy day here… the truth is that I miss getting up with the amazing sun and the super blue sky of Madrid…

Last post on the blog about my holidays with other of my jumpsuits about which you have asked me a lot. Photos taken at the beautiful beach of Valdevaqueros in Tarifa, you have already seen it in other posts.

And I want to tell you something that I do not know if you know but I want to share it with you. It’s about my work and you know that I like to be always transparent with you.

This jumpsuit, I really love it! It seems perfect for me: neutral color, midi style pants and back neckline. So what’s the problem? The problem we have with these things bloggers and influencers is that we can not wear the clothes we like most whenever we want because brands only pay us or give us clothes to show them during the season and while they have stock, and all of you also would like to have the opportunity to buy what we are wearing… so this is what happens with most of the clothes that we have,  we wear them for a couple of times to show them to you and then never again… This is the worst part of my work I guess. 

Anyway, as I said I’m in London today so I’m running now to have breakfast with some friends and to attend some meetings with brands here before leaving tonight … and tomorrow I will be back in Madrid! Yay! I miss getting up with the sun! hehe.

Esta es, sin lugar a dudas, mi hora favorita del día. También este es mi lugar favorito para disfrutar de este momento.

Puesta de sol, el mar, las olas, pies descalzos en la arena… ojalá pudiese vivir este momento cada día.

No hay nada que me guste más que quedarme hasta tarde en la playa leyendo y relajándome… pero el deber es el deber y los días que tengo que hacer fotos me suelo subir sobre las 18h para poder organizarme y llegar a tiempo de este precioso momento.

En estas fotos soy yo completamente, 100% Marta. Alegre, divertida, cercana, humana. Es cierto que no se puede mantener un estado de ánimo así las 24 horas del día pero quiero intentar ser más alegre, más feliz, la mayor parte de mi tiempo. Las cosas en general me afectan mucho y luego casi todas tienen una solución rápida. Por eso me he propuesto para este nuevo “año” mantenerme más positiva y alegre que nunca porque veo que así las cosas me acaban saliendo mejor, al menos como a mí me gustan.

No es fácil ponerse a posar delante de gente con la que no estás acostumbrado, por eso lo que más me gusta de estas fotos es que yo me puse a hacer el tonto, a ser yo básicamente, y mi amigo Carlos iba disparando fotos…

Espero que os gusten y me voy a disfrutar de mi último día de vacaciones… ¡Nos vemos mañana en Madrid!

This is, without any doubt, my favourite moment of the day. This is also my favourite place to enjoy it.

Sunset, sea, waves, barefooted in the sand… I wish I could live this moment every day.

There is nothing I like more than to stay late at the beach reading and chilling… but work is work and some days I have to take pictures so I usually go home about 18h to organize myself and get ready to shoot this precious moment.

In these pictures I am completely me, 100% Marta. Cheerful, fun, close, human. It is true that you can not maintain a mood like this 24 hours a day but I try to be happier, happiest, most of my time. In general things affect me so much and then almost all of them have a quick solution. That is why one of my proposals for this “new year” is to stay more positive and happier than ever because I have proved that this way things work better, at least as I like them.

It is not so easy to pose in front of people that you are not used to, so what I like about these pictures is that I started to play, to be basically me, and my friend Carlos was shooting photos meanwhile… 

Hope you like them and I’ll going to enjoy now my last day of holidays… See you tomorrow in Madrid!

Cómo nos gusta complicarnos la vida eh…

La verdad es que yo pienso que si mi vida no fuese dramática, tampoco sería mi vida, pero también es cierto que muchas veces nos gusta complicarlo todo mucho más de lo que en realidad lo es, ¡menos drama por favor!

Os digo muchas veces que siempre me gusta irme a dormir con la conciencia tranquila, sabiendo que no he hecho mal a nadie o al menos deliberadamente. Pero muchas veces esto no se puede controlar. Nunca llueve a gusto de todos esto está claro, pero yo siempre prefiero intentar llevarme bien con todo el mundo, sobre todo con gente que ha sido importante en mi vida y que he querido, independientemente de lo que haya pasado… Gajes de no ser orgullosa supongo. No obstante esa decisión no es unilateral, la otra persona también debe valorarte y querer seguir teniéndote en su vida.

Y también debo decir que las cosas fáciles nunca me gustaron, no me atraen. A mí me gustan los retos, el luchar por conseguir mis objetivos, mis sueños. No que me lo den todo hecho. Quiero luchar y trabajar duro para construir mi propio futuro yo misma. Porque donde realmente aprendemos es en ese camino, en ese proceso. No me gusta quedarme con el “y si hubiese hecho esto”, prefiero hacerlo y ver qué pasa. O al menos intentarlo.

Pero a lo que vengo vengo. Que debemos aprender, aunque no es tan fácil, a ver y hacer las cosas mucho más fáciles, simples. Muchas cosas tienen solución pero otras no… o quizá si pero no por el momento. No pasa nada. No se acaba el mundo. Siempre hay otras cosas o personas por las que seguir luchando. Siempre. No creo que el drama sea algo tan negativo pero sí se debe aprender a controlarlo.

How much we like to complicate our life…

The truth is that I think that if my life weren’t so dramatic, it would not be my life, but it is also true that many times we like to complicate things much more than they really are, Less drama please!

I have said many times that I always like to go to bed with a clear mind, knowing that I have not hurt anybody or at least deliberately. But often we can not control this. It never rains please to everyone this is true too, but I always prefer to try to be “in peace” with everyone, especially people who have been important in my life and I’ve loved, regardless of what has happened in the past… I’m not prideful I guess. However that decision is not unilateral, the other person must also know and want to continue having us in their life.

And I must say that I have never liked easy things, they do not attract me at all. I like challenges, fighting to achieve my goals, my dreams. I do not want everything already done. I want to work and built it by my own. Because when we really learn is along that way, in that process. I do not like to stay with the “what if I had done this…”, I prefer to just do it and see what happens. Or at least to try it.

We should learn, but it is not so easy to do, to make things much easier, simple things. Many things and situations are solvable but others do not… or maybe yes, but not at the moment. Nothing happens. The world will not end today. There are always other things or people who keep fighting for. Always. I do not think the drama is something so negative but we must learn to control it.

Descubrir rincones como estos es de lo que más me gusta de Andalucía…

Llevo toda mi vida veraneando en el sur enamorada de sus playas, sus ciudades llenas de historia, su gente, su comida… y cómo no, enamorada de pequeños pueblecitos andaluces de casitas de pescadores blancas y con escaleras de este tipo, llenos de flores de colores. ¡Me encanta este escenario para hacer mis fotos y enseñaros mis looks!

Sin duda este es uno de mis posts favoritos… Tanto por el lugar como por el outfit.

E igual de enamorada me quedé cuando vi este vestido completamente de mi estilo. Es de largo por debajo de la rodilla y manga tres cuartos y muy elegante por el estampado de lunares en negro y marrón. Pero lo que terminó de convencerme fue el precioso escote de espalda que una vez más confirma lo que os he dicho en otras ocasiones: más vale insinuar que enseñar. Me parece un escote y un vestido muy femenino e incluso sexy, ¿y a vosotros?

Y como buenas vacaciones que me estoy pegando, no se ni en qué día vivo y por eso anoche puse Viernes en la foto que compartí con vosotros con mis amigos… pero era Jueves si, eso son los efectos del verano hehe.

Discovering new amazing places like this spotted one is what I like most in Andalucía (south of Spain)…

I’ve been all my life having holidays here in the south and I’m in love with its beaches, its cities full of history, its people, its food… and of course, in love with small Andalusian villages of fishermen houses and white walls with stairs like these, full of colorful flowers. I love this spot to show you my daily pictures and my looks!

This is one of my favourite post without any doubt… for the background and for the look.

And I absolutely felt in love too when I saw this dress that is completely my style. It is below the knee and three-quarter sleeves and super elegant with the polka dot print in black and brown. But what finally convinced me was the beautiful neckline back that once again confirms what I have said in many other occasions: to insinuate is better than to show. I think that this neckline and the full dress is very feminine and even sexy, don’t you think so?

And yes… oops!! Last night I shared with you a pic with some of my friends here saying Friday night… yes, today is Friday, yesterday was Thursday, these are the effects of the summer and holidays and not really knowing in which day do we live… hehehe.

Si no se soluciona pasando de página… ¡cambiemos de libro!

Con esta frase tan real y oportuna me despedí anoche en mis redes sociales.

Y es que uno de mis defectos es la moral. Sí sí, últimamente lo considero más un defecto que una virtud. No entiendo bien por qué tengo que anclarme a determinadas personas o situaciones esperando simplemente que entiendan que lo que ha pasado está mal. Que no se juega con la gente, con los sentimientos, con el trabajo, que no se debe hacer daño a nadie deliberadamente… que tenemos que ser legales y buenas personas. Y no me doy cuenta de que hay cosas y personas que son y serán así, no cambian ni evolucionan, por mucho que aparentemente lo parezca.

Pero yo y mi maldita moral nos empeñamos en hacerles ver lo contrario y he aquí el gran error. He aprendido que esto es perder el tiempo. Es como la pescadilla que se muerde la cola. Yo tengo muchos defectos, pero tenía muchos más hace unos años. Hasta que entendí que la vida es evolución e intenté mejorar en aquello que pensé que era bueno y constructivo para mí.

Por eso chicos, si no podemos más ante una situación o persona porque ya lo hemos intentado todo, lo mejor que podemos hacer es cuidadosamente “cerrar el libro y cambiar a otro”. ¡Será por libros!

Y como os decía también ayer cómo me gusta el blanco en verano y más con el color tan bonito que voy cogiendo hehe. Este vestido lo tengo desde hace un par de meses pero no quería estrenarlo hasta que me viese morenita como ahora. Y el bolso por el que me habéis preguntado es de mis últimas adquisiciones sí, ¡me encanta! Sirve tanto para diario porque da un toque elegante a cualquier look como para salir de fiesta o ir a una boda.

If you can’t get over it… just change your way!

With this true quote I said goodbye to you last night on my social networks.

And I do admit it: one of my faults is the ‘moral’. Yes, lately I consider it more a defect than a virtue. I do not understand why I have to stay around certain people or situations just waiting to make them understand that what happened is wrong. Not to play with people, with feelings, with work, you should not deliberately hurt anyone… we have to be legal and nice people. And I do not realize that there are things and people who are and will always be like this, that they won’t change or evolve as it seems apparently.

But me and my F****** moral always try to make them see how wrong they are… and this is the great mistake. I have learned that this is wasting time. It’s like the snake that bites its tail. I have many faults, but had many more a few years ago. Until I understood that life is evolution and I have tried to improve and be better on what I thought was good and constructive for myself.

So guys, if we have a situation or a person with which we’ve tried everything, the best we can do now is to carefully “close the book and start a new one”. There are a thousand good books! 

And as I said yesterday I like to wear white clothes in summer time to highlight my tanned skin. This beautiful dress I have on my closet since a couple of months ago I did not want to wear it until I were as tanned as I am right now. And the bag for which you have asked me about is one of my latest acquisitions and yes, I love it! I can take it for my daily outfits because it gives an elegant touch to any look but also to go to a party or a wedding.

¡Hola Agosto!

Por fin primer post de mi semanita en la Costa Brava.

Lo siento chicos pero también a veces necesito desconectar un poco del blog, porque insisto en que no es NADA FÁCIL publicar 5 días a la semana, 5 looks diferentes, que son más de 20 al mes… y necesito tener algunos días para descansar hehe.

Como habréis visto he estado toda la semana conociendo lo que me ha dado tiempo de la bonita Costa Brava, gracia a la cadena Fergus que tiene varios hoteles en las mejores localizaciones.

Nuestra primera para fue en Playa D’Aro. Estuvimos en el Hotel Fergus Style Nautic Park SPA, justo en frente de un pequeño puerto y de una de las playas que más me gustó por lo grande que es. Es cierto que no me gusta mucho ir a playas pequeñas o a calas porque me siento más agobiada… soy más fan de playas grandes con arena clarita para poder caminar y perderme sin tener a nadie casi encima de mí.

Y este es de mis monos favoritos del verano sin dudad. Los colores, el diseño y el estampado étnico me parecen una combinación perfecta y tenía muchas ganas de enseñaros aquí más fotos para que lo podáis ver mejor.

¡Por cierto! Hoy ya me encuentro algo mejor de la faringitis que tengo… qué malos son los aires acondicionados y llevar todo el día el pelo mojado en verano eh… al final todo esto acaba pasando factura ya veis. Pero después de todo lo que me pusieron y me mandaron ayer en el hospital ya me voy recuperando.

Ya salgo de Madrid a Marbella así que nos vemos por allí.

Hello August!

Finally this is my first post after an amazing week at the Costa Brava (North West of Spain). 

Sorry guys but sometimes I need to really disconnect from the blog, because I insist that it is not easy to publish five days a week, 5 different looks, which are more than 20 different looks/posts per month… and I need to have some days to rest hehe.

As you have seen I’ve been all week discovering the beautiful Costa Brava, thanks to Fergus chain that has several hotels in the best locations there.

Our first stop was at Playa D’Aro. We stayed at the Fergus Style SPA Nautic Park Hotel, right in front of a small port and one of the beaches that I liked most. It is true that I do not like going to small beaches or coves because I feel overwhelmed… I’m more fan of great and big beaches with soft and white sand to walk and get lost without anyone almost on top of me.

And this is my favorite summer playsuit without any doubt. The colors, the design and the ethnic print seem a perfect combination and I really wanted to show it to you here so you can see more photos of the details.

By the way! Today I’m feeling better of my pharyngitis… Thank you so much for all your lovely messages! How bad they are the air conditioners and to wear wet hair all day in summer time… in the end see what happens. But after all yesterday at the hospital they put me the right medicaments so I’m slowly recovering.

Now I’m leaving Madrid to spend August in Marbella so see you there!
