Tercer y último video post donde os cuento más historias de mi divertido viaje a Lisboa… esta vez fuimos a visitar Sintra, ¡no he conocido un lugar así en mi vida!

Me habían avisado de que tanto el Castillo da Pena como los jardines de alrededor eran impresionantemente bonitos pero nunca me imaginé que me iba a sorprender tanto. Desde el primer momento en que llegamos a Sintra y comenzamos a subir en coche esta carretera que veis en las fotos y vídeo atravesando este frondoso bosque y en pleno contacto con la naturaleza me di cuenta de por qué se habían grabado aquí tantas películas… ¡parecía sacado de un cuento!

Y evidentemente me sorprendió aún más llegar hasta el famoso Castillo da Pena después de una subida cuesta arriba de 15 minutos caminando y encontrarme este castillo medieval pintado de mil colores y con tejas de diferentes dibujos, ¡¿bonito o no?! Os prometo que al menos yo no había visto un castillo así, ni si quiera el de Disney de DisneyLand París hahaha. Después de la visita por sus habitaciones y pasillos que podéis ver en el vídeo llegó la hora de seguir descubriendo la magia de esta zona: los jardines inmensos. No creo que nos diese tiempo de visitar ni si quiera una tercera parte pero desde luego como podéis ver lo que vi fue alucinante. Ríos, árboles y plantas de todo tipo porque el rey que vivía allí mandó que trajesen semillas de todos los países y continentes, puentes de piedra, cisnes blancos… ¡y negros!… en fin, de verdad que para mi fue una excursión de cuento.

Para este tipo de excursión escogí unos leggings de cuero negros, unas zapatillas de bota con estampado de leopardo, una sudadera y una trenca verde para el frío.

Third and last video post on my blog with more stories from my funny trip to Lisbon last weekend… this time talk to you about Sintra, I really have not been in such a charmed place like this before!

Although they had told me about how beautiful it was Pena’s Castle and all the surrounding gardens I just never imagined it was going to surprise me so much. From the first moment that we arrived to Sintra, a small village next to Lisboa (like 20 minutes driving)  we were exhausted. We began to climb up driving through this road that you can see in the photos and video through this lush forest and in full contact with nature, at that moment I realized why it had been the scenery for many important movies… it really seems like you are in a fairy tale!

And obviously what surprised me even more was to reach to the top of the famous Pena’s Castle after a walk of 15 minutes climbing and find this medieval castle painted in a thousand colors and tiles of different drawings! Doesn’t it amazing?! I promise you that I had not seen a castle like this before, not even the Disney Castle from DisneyLand Paris hahaha. After the tour inside it, visiting the rooms and corridors which you can see in the video it was time to continue discovering the magic of this area: the immense gardens. I do not think we had time to visit even a third part of them but certainly as you can see below everything what we saw was amazing. Rivers, trees and plants of all kinds because the king who lived there commanded to bring seeds from all countries and continents, stone bridges, white and even black swans!… Well, really to me it was a perfect day in a wonderful place. 

For this kind of day I chose a black leather leggings, my bootie slippers with leopard print, a white sweatshirt and a green trench coat for the cold moments.

Muchas veces nos empeñamos en ponernos ropa más llamativa para “ir monas” y en algunas ocasiones conseguimos todo lo contrario. Estoy segura de que todas vosotras ya os habéis hecho con alguna de estas gabardinas/trencas que están tan de moda. Pues después de haberes enseñado en Londres la rosa palo que me la voy a seguir poniendo hoy os enseño otro modelo completamente diferente.

Se trata de esta gabardina en verde caqui y muy larga. Creo que es un color que combina con casi todo y además añade seriedad o un toque juvenil a nuestros looks según con qué la combinemos. Yo hoy que tenía una mañana completita de trabajo me la he puesto con una sudadera de rayas y unos pantalones blancos. Como calzado mis bailarinas bicolor y me he dado una vuelta en el dobladillo del pantalón para darle un toque más moderno. Tenía que llevar mil cosas encima así que he optado por mi shopping bag y un sombrero marrón que iba a juego con el look y estos días todavía invernales.

Many times we use to think that wearing flashy clothes is better and sometimes we are just wrong. I’m sure that all of you already have your trench coat for this season, they are so fashionable. Well after showing you my soft pink one on the streets of London today I show a completely different model.

This coat in khaki green and oversize. I think this is a color that matches perfectly with almost everything and also adds a youthful touch or seriousness to our looks based on how w combine it. On today’s pics I had a meeting morning so I wore the trench with a striped sweatshirt and white jeans. My color-block  flats always giving the elegant touch. As I had to bring up a thousand things I chose my shopping bag and a brown hat that would match the look and these still winter days.
