Miedos… esos que nos echan hacia atrás, que nos hacen perder las mejores oportunidades que nos ofrece la vida, que nos convierten incluso en cobardes…

Pero, ¿miedo a qué? ¿Miedo a quién? Yo solía tener muchos miedos… y los sigo teniendo pero estoy trabajando duro en ir eliminándolos de mi vida. Tenía miedo al fracaso, tanto laboral como personal. Miedo a quedarme sola. Miedo a que las cosas no salgan como quiero. Miedo a no cumplir mi “sueño” de formar una familia. Miedo a no tener un trabajo que me hiciese feliz y tener que trabajar en ello toda mi vida. Miedo a que la gente que quiero se vaya. Miedo al rechazo. Miedo a la gente “mala”…

Hay muchos miedos en la vida, cierto, es, pero me he dado cuenta por fin de que con ellos no puedo ser feliz. O ellos o yo. Tengo millones de cosas por las que luchar y alegrarme cada día, como la mayoría de vosotros. Vuelvo a lo de siempre, somos muy afortunados, así que ¿por qué dejamos que miedos que muchas veces son simples historias que nos montamos en la cabeza, nos amarguen la vida? Como os contaba hace poco en mi último vídeo, he decidido vivir y disfrutar de cada momento, sin miedo y sin pensar en mañana… porque mañana Dios dirá. Tal y como está el mundo nadie sabe lo que le deparará el mañana, por lo tanto mi consejo chicos es este: sed felices HOY, AHORA, y mañana ya veremos lo que pasa y cómo lo solucionamos.

Último día en Madrid antes de irme a la boda de mi amiga Blanca que es este finde en Alicante. Os contaré todo como siempre a través de mi Snapchat (itgirlmarta) y el vestido tan bonito que llevaré. La semana que viene disfrutaré de la Costa Brava, que tengo ganas de conocer sus rincones más bonitos. Así que se aceptan consejos y sugerencias y me gustará conoceros a los que estéis por allí.

Fears… those who throw us back, those who make us lost the best opportunities that our life offers to us, those that make us even cowards…

But fear to what? Afraid of whom? I used to have a lot of fears… and I still have but I’m working hard on let all them go and try to be happy. I was afraid of failure, both in my work and in my personal life. Fear of being alone forever. Fear that things do not go the way I wanted. Fear to can’t fulfill my “dream” of having a family. Fear of not having a job that makes me happy and have to work on it all my life. Fear of the death of the people that I really love. Fear of rejection. Fear of “bad” people…

There are many fears in life, it is true, but I finally realized that with them we can not be happy at all. It’s just us or them. I have millions of things to fight for and to be thankful for every day, like most of you. Most of us are very lucky, so why let fears that are often simple stories we creare in our minds, to destroy our life? As I told you recently in my last video on my tv channel, I decided to live and enjoy every moment, without fear and without thinking about tomorrow… because tomorrow God will say. Nowadays in this world no one knows what tomorrow will bring, so my advice is this guys: be happy NOW, TODAY, and tomorrow we’ll see what happens and how we solve it.

Last day in Madrid before going to the wedding of my dear friend Blanca this weekend in Alicante. I will tell you everything as always through my Snapchat account (itgirlmarta) and the beautiful dress I will wear. Next week I will enjoy some holidays at Costa Brava, to discover new beautiful spots. So can you recommend me any place, beach, restaurant to visit? And I also would like to meet you, those of you who will be around, so let me know!

Como muchos ya sabréis este fin de semana he descubierto uno de los pueblos con mayor encanto de España. Se llama Patones de Arriba y está a unos 50km de Madrid. Al estar tan ‘escondido’ en la montaña pudo librarse de la invasión francesa e incluso contar con su propio rey en tiempos de Carlos III. Las calles son empinadas cuestas con casas construidas exclusivamente con piedras y ladrillos donde la hiedra y las plantas enredaderas decoran la mayoría de las fachadas. Pareciese que en este pueblo no han pasado los años, el tiempo se ha detenido, si no fuese por la gran afluencia de turistas que cada fin de semana lo visitan para descubrir cada rincón lleno de historia.

Nos alojamos en El Tiempo Perdido que es un hotel con mucho encanto en el centro del pueblo (creo que deber haber sólo 2 o 3 hoteles). Tan sólo tiene unas 8 habitaciones y por dentro como podéis ver tiene la mejor decoración acorde con el siglo XVIII.

Para un fin de semana de relax y contacto con la naturaleza escogí unos jeans ajustados, una camisa azul celeste con maxi bolsillos a los lados, un foulard con estampado étnico y mis sneakers blancas. Encima llevo una gabardina rosa palo y un maxi bolso también de estampado étnico. Como siempre inseparable de mi pen camera para poder mostraros todas estas fotos y vídeos de cada uno de mis viajes.

As many of you already know this weekend I discovered one of the most charming towns in Spain. It’s called Patones de Arriba and is approximately 50km away from Madrid. Being so ‘hidden’ in the mountains they avoid the French invasion and even they had their own king in times of your majesty Carlos III. The streets are steep slopes with houses built entirely with stones and bricks where ivy and creepers plants decorate most of the walls. It seems that in this town have not pass the years, time has stopped, if it was not for the amount of tourists that every weekend visit it to discover every corner full of history. To me it is completely a must visit place. 

We stayed at El Tiempo Perdido Hotel which is a charming hotel in the center of this small town (I think that there are only 2 or 3 hotels). It has only 8 rooms and inside as you can see has the best deco looking like eighteenth century style, in every room and hall of the hotel.

For a weekend of relax and contact with nature I chose some slim fit jeans, a light blue shirt with maxi pockets on the sides, a scarf with ethnic print and my white sneakers. Over I was wearing a soft pink trench and a maxi bag  also with ethnic print. As always I was carrying my inseparable pen camera to show you all these pictures and videos of each trip I do.
