¡Hola a todos!

Como sabéis estoy estos días en Barcelona por varios eventos y trabajos que tenía aquí y me he venido con mis amigos Isabel y Carlos.

Anoche estuvimos en la presentación del anuncio de Freixenet de este año, y desde luego el evento fue de poner los pelos de punta. No sólo por la realización que hay detrás del mismo, el equipo, las semanas de duro trabajo, etc. sino porque este año las protagonistas son las que para mi se llevan todo el mérito. Y es que la firma catalana ha escogido al equipo olímpico de gimnasia rítmica para protagonizar su esperado anuncio navideño de este año. Las seis chicas, campeonas olímpicas, han dado todo de si mismas para que podamos ver un anuncio desde mi punto de vista sin precedentes. No, no son “famosas” como Messi, Cristiano, o un actor/actriz X, pero seguramente ninguno de nosotros sabríamos hacer lo que ellas hacen con las cintas, pelotas y con sus propios cuerpos aunque ensayásemos durante meses…

El anuncio se estrenó en el Museo Nacional Marítimo, en Barcelona. Un lugar precioso lleno de encanto y magia para una noche donde todo destacaba por “brillar”. Este es el lema de este año de la marca, brillar.

Pero si os estoy contando toda esta historia es porque quiero destacar lo importante que es el papel de la mujer hoy en día. Nosotras podemos si, y lo demostramos cada día. Madres casadas, madres solteras, chicas jóvenes, estudiantes, mujeres mayores,… todas luchamos a diario por conseguir por fin la igualdad definitiva con ellos, y lo conseguiremos. Estas chicas contaban anoche que cuando recibieron la medalla olímpica!! (algo que no se consigue todos los días, claro!) no había nadie más que sus familias esperándoles en el aeropuerto… Sin embargo nos volvemos locos cuando vemos a X futbolista o cantante?! Por favor valoremos un poco el esfuerzo y trabajo de la gente luchadora, constante, y que persigue sus sueños. Y tomemos ejemplo de este tipo de personas.

Yo qué queréis que os diga, empezando por mi madre y siguiendo por mis abuelas, tías, hermana, primas, … vengo de una familia de luchadoras, y no todas han tenido siempre al destino de su parte, pero nunca nos hemos rendido.

¡A mí me encanta ser mujer! Y estoy orgullosa de ello y de poder luchar cada día por un futuro digno para todas.

Dicho esto, os dejo las últimas fotos con una de las chaquetas en verde militar y detalle de espiga dorados, de mujer a mujer (que la fotógrafa Paloma es una crack).

Hi there everyone!

As you know I am these days in Barcelona to attend to some events and jobs that I have here and I have the good company of my lovely friends Isabel and Carlos.

Last night we were at the presentation of the new Freixenet advertisement for this year, and this year the event was very emotive. Not only for all the work that is behind it, the team, the weeks of hard work, etc. but because this year the stars are, at least to me, the best ones in years. The Spanish cava brand has chosen the Olympic rhythmic gymnastics team to star in this new commercial for this year’s Christmas. The six girls team, Olympic champions, have given everything of themselves so we can see an enjoy this advertisement from my point of view, unprecedented. No, they are not “famous” like Messi, Cristiano, or an actor/actress, but surely none of us would be able to do what they do with ribbons, balls and even their own bodies even practising for months…

The advertisement premiered at the National Maritime Museum in Barcelona. A beautiful place full of charm and magic for a night where everything “shine”. This was the mood of this year’s brand, to shine.

But if I am telling you this story is because I want to emphasize how important the role of women today is. Yes, we can, and we prove it every day. Married mothers, single mothers, young girls, students, older women… all of them fight daily to finally get the equality with them, and we will. These girls that won the Olympic medal!! (something you do not get every day, of course!), when they arrived to Spain there were anyone but their families waiting at the airport… To me this is really crazy, they are champions! And we got crazy when we see X football player or singer?! Please, let’s value a little effort and the work of the fighter women, steady people, that follow their dreams. And let’s take example of this kind of people.

I want to tell you that starting with my mother and continue with my grandmothers, aunts, sister, cousins,… I come from a family of fighters women, and not all have always had the destiny by their side, but we have never give up on anything.

I love being a woman! And I’m proud of it and I will keep on fighting every day to make the future easier for us.

¡Buenos días viernes!

Estoy segura de que para vosotros también es el día más esperado de la semana…

Hoy os quiero enseñar una colaboración muy especial que realicé para la firma española de calzado Manoletinos. Desde el primer momento en que me propusieron este proyecto lo acepté sin dudarlo porque ya sabéis que las bailarinas son mi calzado favorito por excelencia: en todos los colores y diseños y para cualquier época del año. Además en sus web también tenéis slippers y manoletinos para vosotros. Si si, como lo leéis, lo que hace diferente a esta firma es que han adaptado la famosa “manoletina” de mujer a la moda masculina, ¿qué opináis de esta innovadora idea para el calzado de ellos?

Os dejo algunas fotos de la campaña final, del making of con mi compi y amiga Lorena y algunas más de cerca de esta colorida colección. ¿Con cuál de los 3 looks que escogimos os quedáis vosotros?

Here you have some pics of the campaign, making of with my mate and friend Lorena and some zoom in pics of this wonderful flats collection. Which of my three looks I chose do you like most? 

Today I want to show a special collaboration that I did for the Spanish footwear brand Manoletinos. From the first time they proposed me this project I liked it because you know that flats are my fav shoes for every day in all colors and designs and for any season. In addition to this on their web you also have slippers and flats (“manoletinos”) for him. Yes, what’s different about this firm is that they have adapted the famous “manoletina” women’s flat to male fashion, what do you think about this innovative idea for men shoes?

“Nunca digas de este agua no beberé” o eso solía decir yo cuando tenía algo muy claro. Pues al final la vida te acaba sorprendiendo y si hablamos de moda aún más. Quién me iba a decir a mi que iba a salir a la calle, y aún más, que me iba a sentir tan cómoda y elegante en unos pantalones de “chandal” tan básicos como estos…

Y es que una vez más puedo volver a afirmar que todo depende de los complementos con los que combinemos nuestro look. Desde luego poder salir a la calle con pantalones de deporte y que además parezca que vas arreglada me parece todo un lujo, ¿y a vosotras? Por eso quise aportar mis toques más lady a este look con la camisa blanca con volantes en el cuello y un bolso de firma todoterreno. Como calzado opté por mis sandalias abiertas de doble hebilla que aunque dije que no me las pondría en negro (aunque visto lo visto ya no vuelvo a asegurar nada hehe) este modelo en piel blanca y dorado me pareció muy acorde con mi estilo y fácilmente combinable con mis estilismos diarios.

¿Qué opináis vosotras de llevar un pantalón de este estilo con ropa y complementos más elegantes?

“Never say never”… or that’s what I used to say when I was completely sure about something. Because in the end this wonderful life end up changing your plans and talking about fashion even more. Who was going to tell me that I would wear, and even more, I would feel so comfortable and stylish in a pair of “tracksuit”  pants as basic as these ones… 

And once again I re-affirm that all depends on the accessories with which we combine our look. To can go daily with these kind of trousers and feel like you go very well dressed it’s really amazing, don’t you think so? So I wanted to bring my lady touch to this look and I get it with my white shirt with ruffles at the neck and a cool daily bag. As shoes I chose my double strap sandals that I told you I’d never wear in black (although apparently I’d never affirm anything so seriously again hehe) but this model in white leather and gold seemed very cool, comfy and match my style and they are easily combinable with my daily outfits.

Una vez más llega uno de los días más importantes del año… el día de la madre. Para mi es un día muy especial porque mi madre ¡es la mejor del mundo! (seguro que las vuestras también pero para mi la mía es la mejor por miles de motivos hehehe).Por eso he querido organizar un sorteo tan especial como ellas y lo mejor que se me ha ocurrido es regalarles una joya que puedan lucir ellas mismas y a la vez nosotras, ¿qué os parece la noticia? Seguro que os encantan estas joyas y a vuestra madre también.

Como no me gustaba la idea de que sólo os tocase a uno he decido sortear cuatro piezas de la colección Happy Chic de topacios azules que incluyen: pendientes solitarios, anillo, brazalete y cadena con cruz. Espero que os guste mi elección. En las fotos podéis ver dos de los looks con los que las he combinado yo. Uno de ellos muy casual y de diario con jeans rotos, una camisa de rayas y una blazer de flores encima. El otro es un look más de fiesta con vestido de gasa blanco y sandalias negras.

Las fotos las hemos realizado en el Hotel Orfila de Madrid que es uno de mis favoritos por el encanto que tiene.

Here it comes again one of the most important days of the year… Mother’s Day. For me it’s a very special day because my mother is the best ever! (sure yours too but mine is for me the best for many reasons hehehe). That’s why I wanted to organize as special post and the best idea I had is to give them a jewel that can wear themselves and even us, what do you think about this giveaway? Sure you love these jewels and your mother too.

As I didn’t like the idea that only one of you receive one jewel I decided to choose four pieces of the Happy Chic collection with blue topaz including: solitaire earrings, ring, bracelet and chain with cross. Hope you like my choice. In the pics you can see all the pieces I’ve chosen combined with two different looks. One is very casual and for the day a day with ripped jeans, a striped shirt and a floral blazer. The other one is more elegant with a white chiffon dress and black sandals.

The pics have been taken at Orfila Hotel in Madrid which is one of my favs because they care every single detail.

Estoy muy contenta de por fin poder enseñaros uno de los primeros looks que he realizado para la nueva colección otoño/invierno ’13-’14 de la firma de bolsos The Code. Ya se que habéis visto algunas fotos del making off en las redes sociales que fui colgando yo pero ¿a que no tienen nada que ver con esto?

Como os digo, esta firma de bolsos es “made in Spain” (promovamos nuestros productos nacionales), donde todos los productos son fabricados con las mejores pieles. En este primer look escogí dos modelos porque los dos me parecían buenas opciones y no sabría por cual decantarme, así que depende de la situación: una cartera con tachuelas doradas a juego con las flores doradas de mi vestido para una noche más chic, o un maxi bolso de mano para el día a día (ya sabéis que yo meto de todo en el bolso, muchas veces me recuerda al de Mary Poppins).
