¿Qué puede haber mejor que comprarte ropa que te guste? ¡Que además te la personalicen!

Está muy de moda lo de llevar complementos y accesorios personalizados (como joyas, bolsos…) pero cuando fui a una de las tiendas más conocidas de denim me enamoré de este vestido vaquero y me enteré que también te lo personalizaban a gusto… ¡qué divertido! Y como no podía ser de otra manera escogí mi logo “it-girl by Marta Carriedo” para insertarlo en la manga. Te lo hacen en el acto, es algo realmente novedoso y original.

Estas fotos vuelven a ser en Bilbao este fin de semana donde como veis el tiempo nos acompañó los dos días y pudimos pasear por uno de sus parques más conocidos: el Parque de Doña Casilda más comúnmente conocido como Parque de los Patos. ¿Habéis estado vosotros?

Como ya os he comentado en más de una ocasión no me gusta mucho lo de llevar medias en invierno… y en color transparente menos, creo que nunca las he llevado. Por eso aprovecho estas temperaturas para poder seguir llevando vestidos sin medias aunque se me vean mis piernas blanquecinas hehe. Escogí complementos en burdeos para combinarlos con el vestido vaquero: chaqueta de lana estilo oversize, sombrero con plumas y botines de piel. De nuevo opté por el bolso en color crema que me llevé para el fin de semana y mis gafas negras son montura en la nariz.

What can be better than buying clothes that you like? That they personalize them just for you!

It is very fashionable to wear custom accessories and complements (such as jewelry, bags…) but when I went to one of the most famous denim stores in Madrid and I fell in love with this denim dress I couldn’t believe that they would personalize it for me, amazing! And as you can imagine I chose my logo “it-girl by Marta Carriedo” to insert it into the sleeve of the dress. I think that this is an original and funny way to customize our clothes.

These pictures were taken again in Bilbao this weekend where as you can see the weather was perfect both days and we could stroll around through one of its most popular parks: Doña Casilda’s Park or more commonly known as Parque de los Patos. Have you been there?

As I have said on more than one occasion I did not like what to wear tights in winter… and I especially hate them in transparent color, I think I’ven ever worn them. So I take advantage of these high temperatures to continue wearing dresses with socks although you can see my whitish legs hehe. I chose to combine the denim dress with complements in burgundy: oversize style wool jacket, my hat with feathers and my comfy booties. Again I opted for my shoulder bag in cream that I carried with me for the weekend and my new black sunnies.

¡Buenos días!

¿Cómo ha ido vuestro finde? El mío la verdad es que me ha dado para hacer todo lo que pretendía: descansar, pasar ratos divertidos con mis amigos, disfrutar de algo de relax con mi pareja y ver a mi familia, ¡no puedo pedir más para comenzar una nueva semana!

Estoy segura de que todos vosotros ya os habéis dado cuenta de que una de las piezas must have en el armario de cualquier mujer esta temporada son las capas. La mayoría de las tiendas no tienen uno ni dos modelos, sino al menos diez diferentes para poder escoger.

Como ya sabéis que mi estilo es bastante clásico y aunque muchas veces me gusta añadir un toque de color a mis looks prefiero hacerlo con complementos y accesorios, he optado por esta capa de entretiempo en gris y negro reversible. Esto fue lo que más me gustó de ella, podérmela poner en los dos colores cuando quiera, así parece que son dos capas diferentes. También el tacto suave estilo cashmere y los flecos que lleva en los bordes son detalles que me terminaron de convencer. Como primer estilismo para combinarla opté por un total black look con camiseta de canalé negra de manga larga, unos jeans negros cortados y mis nuevos oxfords que ya conocéis. Un maxi bolso negro para meter mis imprescindibles para los días de trabajo, mi nuevo reloj-pulsera y una cadena con chapa de plata fueron mis complementos.

Good morning my friends!

How has your weekend? Mine really has gone well as I could do everything that I expected: time to rest and recover from my illness, spend funny time with my friends, enjoy some beautiful moments with my couple and of course having time to see my family, I can not ask for more to start a new week!

I’m sure that all of you have already realized that one of the pieces ‘must have’ in every woman’s wardrobe for this season are the CAPES. In all the stores you can find not only one or two models but at least ten different kinds to choose from.

As you know my style is quite classic, but often I like to add a touch of color to my looks so I’d rather do it with complements and accessories, so according to my classic mood I opted for this cape in gray and black that you can wear in both colors. This was what I liked most about it, to can wear it with the two colors so it seems that there are two different capes hehe. Also the soft touch cashmere style and the fringes at the edges are details that ended up convincing me to get it. As the first outfit  to combine it I opted for a total black look with a ribbed black shirt with long sleeves, a pair of black ripped jeans and my new black oxfords that you already know. A black maxi bag to carry with me all my essentials for my working days, my new watch-bracelet and a silver tag chain were my accessories.

¡Comenzamos nueva semana!

La verdad es que no se quién dijo que los lunes son aburridos (como comenté hace poco en mis redes sociales) porque yo desde luego ¡no paro! Suele ser el día que más meetings, llamadas, mails pendientes, fotos… tengo pendiente, así que para mi son bastante intensos hehe.

Y para tantas reuniones de trabajo ya sabéis que me gusta ir más arreglada pero siempre dentro de mi estilo y con un toque moderno. Por eso la propuesta que os traigo hoy para un lunes de trabajo mezcla el estilo denim con toques más elegantes. Los jeans rotos son claramente el complemento más informal del outfit mientras que con una camisa blanca básica y una blazer por ejemplo azul de tweed como esta por encima conseguiréis ese toque más serio y arreglado. Suelo utilizar tacones para estilizar más mi figura y dar una impresión de mujer más mayor en los meetings (que con lo “mini” que soy si encima voy con vaqueros y plana… hahaha). El toque más roquero lo conseguí con el cinturón negro con hebilla plateada que es un complemento estilo cowboy que tanto se va a llevar esta temporada. Los sombreros siempre me parecen un buen accesorio para los días de lluvia y personalmente me gusta tener mil en varios colores. Como accesorios escogí mi nuevo mini bolso bandolera en azul eléctrico con cadena plateada que parece pequeño pero me cabe lo necesario, un colgante dorado con cruz y perlas muy de mi estilo y que dio un toque muy femenino al look y mi nuevo reloj Pepito Mystique en color azulón también combinando con el resto del estilismo y con la Mano de Fátima por el lado opuesto a la esfera.

¿Qué os parece esta propuesta para un lunes de muuucho “curro”?

Let’s start a new week guys!

The truth is that I don’t know who said that Mondays are boring (as I said recently on my social networks) because I certainly do not stop! This is usually the day that I have more meetings, calls, pending mails, photos… so to me are pretty intense and for sure the most long day of the week hehe.

And if you have many meetings like me, I like to go more well dressed but always according with my style and with a modern twist. So I bring you today this proposal for a working  Monday mixing denim style with more elegant details. The ripped jeans are clearly the more casual complement of the outfit while with the basic white shirt and the blue tweed style blazer like this one I’m wearing over you will get that touch more serious and dressed up. I usually use my heels to stylize more my legs and also because they give an impression of an older woman in the meetings (as I’m a “mini” kinda woman I prefer to go with heels than with flats). The rocker touch came with the black belt with silver buckle cowboy style that you already know that is hitting hard for this new season. Hats always seem a good accessory to me for rainy days and I personally like to have a thousand kinds in various colors. As accessories I chose my new mini shoulder bag in electric blue with silver chain that seems small but I can carry all my necessaries, a gold necklace with a little cross and white pearls which is really my style and it gave the very feminine touch  to the look and my new Pepito Mystique watch in dark blue color also combining with the rest of the styling and the Hand of Fatima on the opposite side of the sphere.

Jueves 18 de Septiembre. Una vez más la revista más internacional organiza la noche de la moda en varias de las ciudades más destacadas del mundo: Vogue Fashion Night Out (VFNO). Las calles del centro de Madrid se cortan y todas las tiendas despliegan sus alfombras a la calle para ofrecer cocktails y descuentos a todo el que quiera pasarse.

Aún no he decidido bien qué me pondré esta noche pero el look de hoy sería una buena opción (lo digo para aquellas que vayáis a pasaros y no sepáis aún qué poneos). Sabéis que me encantan los boyfriend jeans y tengo varios modelos, más oscuros y claritos. Este es de los que más me gusta porque los cortes no son muy grandes y porque me gusta el color más clarito. Esta vez he querido añadir mi toque lady con unos stilettos de print de serpiente azules y una camisa blanca con detalles de botones con pedrería. El cinturón negro da ese estilo cowboy que tanto se llevará esta nueva temporada. El bolso de lentejuelas con forma de búho es el accesorio más original y como joyas llevo mis dos pulseras de plata del infinito y mi nuevo reloj Pepito con la mano de Fátima.

Thursday, 18 September. Once again one of the most international magazines organizes a fashion night in some of the most prominent cities around the world: Vogue Fashion Night Out (VFNO). The streets of the center of Madrid are closed to the traffic and all the shops display their rugs outside to offer cocktails and discounts to anyone who wants to stroll around.

I have not decided yet what I’ll be wearing tonight but today’s look would be a good choice (I mean that it’s a good option for those of you that go to this fashion night). You already know that I love boyfriend jeans and I have some models, darker and in light blue color. This is the one I like most because the courts are not very big and because I like the lighter color and they fit me so well at the waist. This time I wanted to add my lady touch and I did it with a blue snake print stilettos and a white shirt with button details with rhinestones. The black belt gave the cowboy style that will rock hard this new season. The sequined bag with owl form is the most original accessory and as jewelry I took my two silver bracelets with the infinite and my new Pepito watch with the Fatima’s hand.

De nuevo vuelta a la rutina. Para mis reuniones de ayer, que además fue un día bastante largo, me apetecía verme arreglada y guapa después de unas vacaciones tan relajadas y de turismo como las que he tenido.

Por eso decidí ponerme una mini falda de cuero negra que es un color serio para los meetings pero las cremalleras le daban el toque moderno. Mi camiseta de ‘Meow’ que me encanta y que no sólo las new yorkers llevan con estilo. Creo que la combinación blanco o beige con negro sabéis de sobre que es una de mis favoritas. Y llevaba tiempo queriendo estrenar estos zapatos que os enseñé en mis redes sociales y ayer fue el mejor día para ello. Están hechos completamente por mi misma. Escogí un modelo peeptoe porque me parecen más cómodos y también más sexy que se vean los dedos. Los estampados de animales me vuelven loca por eso esta vez quise combinar el de serpiente pero en dos colores: natural con burdeos, ¿qué os parece mi elección? Como accesorios opté por mis dos relojes Pepito (de calavera y de corazón con cristales de Swarovski) y unos anillos finos. El bolso del búho de lentejuelas es de mis últimas adquisiciones nada más llegar a Madrid y creo que le voy a sacar bastante rentabilidad…

Ya sólo queda un día para el finde, ¡ánimo!

Already back to the routine. To my yesterday meetings, which was also a long and busy day, I wanted to feel more elegant and sexy after the relaxing and tourism holidays that I’ve had.

So I decided to wear a black leather mini skirt which is a serious color for the meetings but the silver zippers gave the modern touch. My ‘Meow’ tee that I love and not only new yorkers rock it he he. I think that the combination of white or beige with black you already know that is one of my favs. And I’ve been waiting for a long time to wear for the first time these shoes that I showed you on my social networks and yesterday for sure was the best day to do it. They are made entirely by myself. I chose a peep toe model because it is more comfortable and also sexy showing the fingers . And you also know that I’m mad about animal prints so this time I wanted to combine the snake print but in two different colors: natural with burgundy, what you think about my choice? As accessories I chose my two Pepito watches (skull and heart with Swarovski crystals) and thin rings. The sequin owl clutch is one of my latest acquisitions since I came back to Madrid and I’m already thinking about a lot of posible combinations with my clothes…

“Nunca digas de este agua no beberé” o eso solía decir yo cuando tenía algo muy claro. Pues al final la vida te acaba sorprendiendo y si hablamos de moda aún más. Quién me iba a decir a mi que iba a salir a la calle, y aún más, que me iba a sentir tan cómoda y elegante en unos pantalones de “chandal” tan básicos como estos…

Y es que una vez más puedo volver a afirmar que todo depende de los complementos con los que combinemos nuestro look. Desde luego poder salir a la calle con pantalones de deporte y que además parezca que vas arreglada me parece todo un lujo, ¿y a vosotras? Por eso quise aportar mis toques más lady a este look con la camisa blanca con volantes en el cuello y un bolso de firma todoterreno. Como calzado opté por mis sandalias abiertas de doble hebilla que aunque dije que no me las pondría en negro (aunque visto lo visto ya no vuelvo a asegurar nada hehe) este modelo en piel blanca y dorado me pareció muy acorde con mi estilo y fácilmente combinable con mis estilismos diarios.

¿Qué opináis vosotras de llevar un pantalón de este estilo con ropa y complementos más elegantes?

“Never say never”… or that’s what I used to say when I was completely sure about something. Because in the end this wonderful life end up changing your plans and talking about fashion even more. Who was going to tell me that I would wear, and even more, I would feel so comfortable and stylish in a pair of “tracksuit”  pants as basic as these ones… 

And once again I re-affirm that all depends on the accessories with which we combine our look. To can go daily with these kind of trousers and feel like you go very well dressed it’s really amazing, don’t you think so? So I wanted to bring my lady touch to this look and I get it with my white shirt with ruffles at the neck and a cool daily bag. As shoes I chose my double strap sandals that I told you I’d never wear in black (although apparently I’d never affirm anything so seriously again hehe) but this model in white leather and gold seemed very cool, comfy and match my style and they are easily combinable with my daily outfits.

Este si que puedo decir que es uno de mis looks favoritos. No me baso sólo en la comodidad de los pantalones que sabéis que al llevar goma en la cintura y ser anchos son mucho más ligeros que unos más ajustados, también me gusta la combinación de colores del negro con el verde militar y detalles en blanco.

Hoy he combinado mis pantalones de cuero estilo chandal con una camisa oversize en verde militar con un crop top debajo con estampado étnico en blanco, negro y verde.

Para ir más arreglada a las reuniones me he puesto unos tacones negros con tachuelas plateadas a juego con las cremalleras del pantalón y hombreras de la camisa. Mis complementos en esta ocasión fueron: mi bolso bandolera cuadrado en black&white, mis gafas de sol de cuero negras y dos brazaletes-reloj a modo de pulsera que además me sirven para ver la hora.

¿Qué opináis de esta mezcla de pantalones de cuero con el color verde caqui y con stilettos?

I can say that this is one of my fav looks not only on the comfy track pants that you know that they have an elastic waistband for going not as slim as others but like the co also for the combination of colors: leather black with military green and white details. 

Today I’ve combined my leather tracksuit pants with an oversize shirt in military green and a crop top underneath with ethnic print in white, black and green. As I had to go to some meetings I was wearing black heels with silver studs matching the zippers of the pants and shirt straps. My complements for this outfit were: square shoulder bag in my black & white, my black leather sunglasses and two watches-bracelets of a skull and a heart.

Una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer cuando llega la primavera es visitar mercados de plantas y flores para ir decorando mi casa con olores y colores nuevos y frescos. Ayer me pasé por uno que me pillaba de camino entre reunión y reunión y decidí hacer ahí las fotos del look porque me parece un sitio con mucho encanto y sobre todo muy natural, como iba yo (ahora que tengo colorcito prefiero no maquillarme si no es necesario y así dejo descansar la piel).

Como parece que le cuesta un poco al sol volver a salir definitivamente me puse unos jeans de cintura alta con una camiseta negra con calaveras y mi gabardina verde encima. Un pañuelo con estampado animal para los momentos de más viento y mi sombrero marrón a juego. Opté en esta ocasión por mi mini bolso en negro combinado con mis botines abiertos de tacón medio en negro también. Como accesorios mi reloj con cristales de calavera y mis gafas de sol de piel negras.

One of the things I like to do when spring arrives is to visit plants and flowers market to decorate my home with fresh new scents and colors. Yesterday I went to one of them between meeting and meeting and I decided to make there today’s post because I think it’s a very natural place and I was very natural too (now that I’m tanning I prefer not to wear make up if it’s not necessary and let the skin rest).

Definitely the sun doesn’t want to shine and stay so I was wearing a pair of high waist jeans with a skulls black tee and my khaki green trench. An animal print scarf for the wind moments and matching the colors with the hat. I chose this time my mini bag in black combined with my open medium heel booties in black too. As accessories my skull bracelet watch and my leather black sunglasses.

Que las prendas de cuero han triunfado este invierno no cabe lugar a dudas, pero que lo siguen haciendo para la nueva temporada también está muy claro. Están llegando ya prendas como faldas de lápiz o crop tops de cuero en colores más primaverales como los baby pink o baby blue que están en plena tendencia pero como el tiempo no acompaña mucho yo sigo aprovechando para ponerme mis prendas favoritas de cuero cuando quiero conseguir un look más roquero. Así hoy llevo una cazadora de cuero combinada con mis pantalones de cuero tipo chandal que sabéis que son mis favoritos cuando viajo por lo cómodos que son. Me he puesto una camisa de cuadros blanca y negra y mis oxfords negros para añadir mi toque más clásico. Como casi siempre que voy de blanco y negro, mi bolso color blocked y mis gafas de sol de cuero fueron mis mejores aliados.

That leather clothes have triumphed this winter isn’t a secret, but they still are on the top for the new season.

Leather is coming in many clothes like pencil skirts or crop tops in more spring colors like baby pink or baby blue, really trendy colors, but as the winter seems to be still here I still keep wearing my favorite leather clothes when I want a more rocker look. So today I wear a leather jacket combined with my harem leather pants (you know that these are my fav pants when I travel for how comfy they are). I’m wearing black and white shirt and my black oxfords to add the classic touch to my outfit. As usual I’m wearing black and white, my color-blocked bag and my leather sunglasses were my best allies.

¡Hoy estreno de todo! Nuevo corte de pelo (de largo no me he cortado mucho pero sí que me desfilado bastante por delante para conseguir más volumen), nueva camiseta de nueva colección y otro de mis regalos de cumple: unas bailarinas negras muy especiales…Ya que hoy me dan el premio Wloggers ayer aproveché para retocarme un poco el pelo. Como os cuento arriba no he querido cortarme mucho de largo pero si dejarme media melena como me gusta a mi. Además me he marcado mucho el desfilado por delante para dar más volumen al cabello, ¿qué os parece el resultado?

Como ya sabéis las camisetas con mensaje me encantan así que cuando me pasé ayer a conocer la nueva colección de primavera verano de Dear Tee me llevé esta entre otras sin pensármelo dos veces: “I don’t care, I love it!” Como es muy casual la quise combinar con un toque elegante como sabéis que me gusta y lo conseguí con mi falda negra con borde de encaje, unas medias de plumeti y mis nuevas bailarinas negras de Chanel ¡me encantan! Mi abrigo bicolor en blanco y negro a juego con el bolso y la bufanda fueron mis complementos. Y esta vez he cambiado mi Pepito de calavera por mi nuevo modelo de corazón con fondo de espejo, ¿os gusta?

Today I’m one of the awardees of Wloggers so yesterday I decided to change a little my hair style. As I’ve explained before I didn’t want to cut my hair very much but only get some volume, do you like the result?

As you know message tees are one of my favs so when I went yesterday to see the new spring summer collection of Dear Tee I took this without a second thought: “I do not care, I love it!” As it’s a very casual t-shirt I combined it with an elegant touch as you know I like with my black lace skirt, plummet tights and my new Chanel black flats, I love them! My color-blocked in black and white coat matching with my bag and scarf were my complements. And this time I changed my skull Pepito for my new model: this diamond heart over silver mirror, do you like it?
