Parece que las temperaturas van bajando poco a poco en la capital… y yo voy sacando prendas más abrigadas pero me gusta todavía seguir dando un toque de color a mis looks. ¿El de hoy? Este rojo vivo.

Los pantalones de cuero ya fueron unos claros protagonistas en invierno pasado y esta temporada vuelven renovados con pequeños detalles que los diferencian. Yo ya me he hecho con estos negros con plisados en la rodilla que facilitan más el movimiento. Además soy fanática de los pantalones con cremalleras abajo para poder llevarlas abiertas o cerradas según el día y el estilismo. Como ya hemos comentado en otros posts el estampado étnico está ganando puestos en estas colecciones y yo he querido introducirlo en mi estilismo de hoy con este pañuelo que me encantó en cuanto lo vi. La mezcla de beige, negro y rojo me parece perfecta para combinar con la mayoría de mi ropa. Como ya era bastante llamativo simplemente me puse unos salones negros y una camisa tipo sudadera en beige. El toque de color como os he comentado arriba lo conseguí con este bolso rojo con cadena dorada de hace varios años pero que me sigue gustando como el primer día. ¿Os gusta?

¡Y ya han comenzado los desfiles de moda en la capital! No puedo ir a todos porque tengo bastante trabajo y porque al final es un poco más de lo mismo, por eso me gusta seleccionar a los que acudo, pero esta noche voy a uno de ellos así que ¡estad atentos a mis redes sociales!

It seems that the temperatures are dropping slowly at the city… and I’m wearing more warm clothes but I still like to continue giving a touch of color to my looks. Today’s? This hot red.

Leather pants were already clear protagonists of the season last winter and again they come back renewed with small details that make them different. I’ve bought these ones in black with pleated knee which make walk more comfortable. I’m also a super fan of the pants with zippers down to wear them opened or closed depending on the day and the styling. As we have mentioned in other posts the ethnic print is gaining positions in these collections so I wanted to introduce it to my stylist today with this scarf which I loved from the first time I saw it. The mix of beige, black and red seems perfect to match most of my winter clothes. I chose s black stilettos and a shirt/sweatshirt type jacket in beige. The touch of color as I have mentioned before comes with this red bag with golden chain from some years ago but which I still love like the first day. Don’t you?

And have already started fashion shows in the capital! I can not go at all because I have a lot of work and because the end is a bit more of the same, so I like to select to which I go, but tonight I’m one of them so stay tuned to my social networks!

1 de Septiembre. Oficialmente se terminaron las vacaciones y la mayoría volvemos al trabajo, a la realidad. Todas las noches doy gracias a Dios de que para mi volver al trabajo sea algo positivo y alegre, aunque luego esté hasta arriba de cosas pero me encanta mi día a día, mi trabajo, la gente que forma parte de él… De verdad estoy muy agradecida por todo esto.

Y como volver al trabajo implica reuniones, clientes, etc. ya hay que ir pensando estilismos con los que vayamos a la última y que nos sirvan para ir a trabajar. Cuando vi este pantalón de pata de elefante pensé que era e perfecto para una reunión más arreglada. ¿A alguien se le ocurre por qué? Si si, porque aparte de ser un diseño que pienso que sienta bien a la mayoría de nosotras, es en blanco y negro, mi combinación favorita de colores. Por eso para que se llevase todo el protagonismo el pantalón lo combiné con un body negro de tirantes, un bolso color block en los mismos colores y mis mules negras. Como complementos opté por una chapa de plata muy especial para mi grabada con el nombre del blog “it girl” y unos brazaletes de plata también con el símbolo del infinito.

September the 1st. Officially the holidays are over and most of us are back to work, back to reality. Every night I thank God for my return to work because to me is something positive and happy. Even when I’m so busy that I’m about to literally die, I love my daily life, my work, the people around me who are part of it… I’m really very grateful.

And it’s also time to start again having meetings, clients, etc. and we have to start thinking about the new trends and outfits that we can wear to go to work. When I saw this elephant leg pants I thought it was perfect for a meeting day. Anyone know why? That is, because apart from being a design that I think it suits most of us well, it is in black and white, my favorite color combination. So to concentrate all the attention on the pants I combined them with a black body, my color block bag in the same colors and my black mules. As complements I opted for a special silver plate tag engraved with the name of the blog “it girl” and a silver bracelets with the infinity symbol.

¡Buenos días!

Por fin eh conseguido conexión para seguir contandoos mi veranito. La verdad es que la semana que he pasado en Tarifa con mis amigas ha sido muy divertida porque éramos 9 chicas y claro hemos hecho lo propio: mucho sol y playas de la zona, bares y terracitas de media tarde, cenas en restaurantes típicos y buenísimos y cómo no algo de fiesta por las calles de bares y discotecas. Si queréis alguna recomendación por si pasáis por ahí como restaurantes os recomiendo El Picoteo, Lola, Milli o El Pasillo. Os encantará la comida tan elaborada y hay platos de todo tipo. Como bares nosotras solemos ir mucho a La Onda, y La Tetería que es donde conocemos a más gente aunque la verdad es que toda la calle está muy bien. Sobre las 2, 2:30 de la noche se suele ir un rato a La Ruina antes de llegar ya a una de las discotecas. Mi disco preferida por el tipo de música es Mombassa pero Café del Mar no está mal aunque si un poco lejos del centro, pero tienen autobuses que te llevan gratis. Para pasar la tarde después de la playa los lounge de Arte y Vida, El Tumbao y Tangana son los más multitudinarios y divertidos.

Ahora mismo estoy pasando unos días en Marbella con mi familia y también con amigos de aquí pero me vuelvo a Madrid en dos días para mi siguiente viaje a América… ¡Ese también me apetece mucho!

Y pasamos por fin a analizar el look de hoy. El neopreno es una tendencia que definitivamente ha llegado para quedarse. Ha salido de los mares de los trajes de los buceadores y surferos y ya todos los diseñadores tanto de firmas top como de firmas low cost lo han introducido en sus diseños. Es un tejido muy fácil de trabajar ya que proporción mucho volumen en todas las prendas. A mi personalmente me parece increíble que cuando prácticamente está ya todo inventado en el mundo de la moda siempre consiguen traer algo nuevo y rompedor que además se convierte en un must have. Es cierto también que pienso que son prendas más para primavera u otoño porque en verano pueden dar bastante calor pero en este caso llevo un top de manga corta con estampado selvático de colores llamativos y es bastante ponible en esta época del año. Lo combiné con unos pantalones tipo chandal en verde oscuro para no quitarle el protagonismo a la camiseta y con mis mules que ahora en verano se convierten en un calzado básico para mi día a día. Como complementos escogí un bolso estilo hippie de colores y cristales bordados y un anillo de labios rojos con un pequeño brazalete dorado con la palabra ‘love‘.

Morning my friends!

Finally I have wifi connection to keep telling you how is going my summer. The truth is that the week I’ve spent in Tarifa with my friends has been very funny because we were 9 girls and we have clearly done what all women like: lots of sun and going to different beaches in the area, lounges and terraces for mid-afternoon, dinners in typical restaurants with very good food and party in the streets of bars and nightclubs, amazing! Just in case you come over there I recommend you to eat The Picoteo, Lola, Milli and El Pasillo. You will love the food and there are so elaborate dishes for all kinds. We usually go to La Onda bar or La Tetería because is where we known more people but the truth is that the whole street of bars is so fine. Around 2, 2:30 in the night people use to go to La Ruina before arriving as one of the nightclubs. My favorite disco because of the music is Mombassa but Café del Mart is not bad at all although a bit far from downtown, but they have buses that take you there for free. To spend the afternoon after the beach the lounge of Arte y Vida, , El Tumbao and Tangana are the most crowded and funny places.

Right now I’m spending a few days in Marbella with my family and other friends from here but I come back to Madrid in two days for my next trip to America… I’m excited for that too!

And let’s analyze today’s look. Neoprene is a trend that is definitely here to stay. It has come out of the sea from the suits of divers and surfers and all the designers of top and low cost firms have introduce it ​​in their new collections. It is a very easy fabric to work because it gives so much volume in all the clothes. I personally find it amazing that when  everything seems to be already discovered in the fashion world always appear something new and groundbreaking that becomes a must have. It is also true that these kind of clothes are better for spring or fall because in summer time it can gives you enough heat but in this case I’m wearing a short sleeve top with jungle print in bright colors and is quite good to wear at this time of the year. I combined it with a tracksuit style pants in khaki green to not keep highlighting the tee and my mules that in summer time become a staple shoe for my day a day. As complements I chose a colorful hippie bag with crystals and embroidery and a red lips ring with a small gold bracelet with the word ‘love’.

Ya sabéis que me gusta combinar pantalones de vestir con ropa más moderna porque me gusta esa mezcla de estilos diferentes. Hoy he combinado mis pantalones beige de vestir (que son comodísimos por el cordón que llevan como cinturón) con un crop top negro. Encima y como toque más trendy me he puesto mi chaqueta beisbolera de flores del verano pasado. Cómo no sigo sin quitarme mis mules porque aparte de que me encanta cómo quedan con casi todos mis looks me resultan muy cómodas para llevarlas los días que tengo que ir más arregladas. Como accesorios un reloj estilo vintage y mi mini bolso negro.

PD: no llevo maquillaje aprovechando el color que ya he cogido pero ya empiezan a salirme esas temidas manchas solares conocidas como “pecas”…

You already know that I like to combine suits with more modern clothes because I like the mix of different styles. Today I’ve combined my beige suit pants (which are super comfy for the lace as a belt) with a black crop top. Above and to give the trendiest touch I put my floral baseball jacket from the last summer collection. And of course I opted for my mules because apart from that I love the I also like how they match with almost all my looks and they are very comfy for those long working days. As accessories my vintage style black clock and my black mini bag.

PS: I don’t wear makeup because I’m already tanned but they have starting to appear those awful sunspots known as “freckles”…

Cuando empecé a ver más que en las pasarelas en los street style de muchas celebrities que se llevaban los pantalones chandaleros a diario como si de unos pantalones normales se tratasen os reconozco que me llevé las manos a la cabeza y pensé “¡por esto si que no paso!”No se si es por las enormes campañas de marketing que hacen las firmas más potentes y que al final todos nos compramos lo que ellos nos quieren vender cuando más bien debería ser al contrario (ellos fabricar productos que el consumidor necesite y demande), pero al final acabas adaptándolos de una u otra forma a tu estilo. Es cierto que yo llevaba bastante tiempo queriéndome comprar unos pantalones de este tipo pero no encontraba los que me gustasen y a la vez estuviesen en la misma línea de mi forma de vestir. Cuando entrevisté a Chiara Ferragni (podéis recordar la entrevista AQUÍ) comentamos lo mucho que nos gustaba el cuero a las dos aunque está claro que a cada una dentro de su propio estilo. El caso es que ella levaba unos pantalones de chandal de cuero negros que me gustaron bastante…

Cuál fue mi sorpresa cuando estando de compras esta semana encuentro prácticamente los mismos y con cremalleras plateadas arriba que me parece que le dan un toque muy grunge. Así que ayer para ir a mis reuniones de trabajo y el desfile de por la tarde me decidí a estrenarlos. Para no romper el estilo roquero los combiné con una camiseta básica blanca con mensaje claro “Now or Never” y unos estilettos negros con tachuelas plateadas. El toque de color lo aporté con la blazer roja. Y como ya conocéis de sobra mi pasión por mezclar dorado y plateado me puse mi bolso estilo Chanel con cadenas doradas que desde luego me parece una alternativa bastante buena (ver este y más del mismo estilo aquí). Tres anillos finos y mi Pepito fueron mis accesorios.

I have to admit that the first time I saw some celebrities wearing tracksuits on their daily style I was in shock like: “I’m not going to wear these kind of trousers never!”

It is probably as a result of several marketing campaigns held by different brands why I have somehow found out the way to adapt this piece of clothing to my personal style. As you know I had the opportunity to interview Chiara Ferragni last week in Berlin. She was wearing a black leather tracksuit and possibly because I saw them fitted on her I rapidly thought that was going to be my next acquisition. I was shopping around this week in Madrid when I accidentally found tracksuit trousers very similar to Chiara’s but with silver zips which I think give an even more grunge style.

Without thinking too much I bought them for yesterday’s afternoon meetings and the following fashion show. In order to play with the rock style I combined them with a white t-shirt with a clear message “Now or Never” and my black studded stilettos. I gained some colour for the outfit with the red jacket and as many of you are aware of my passion for the mix of gold and silver colours I wore the Chanel style bag with golden chains. As accessories I chose three thin rings and my Pepito watch.

No he titulado el post “Natural world” porque el mundo sea muy natural… sino porque lo que a mí me gusta de él son precisamente las cosas naturales y sencillas.Ya que estamos metidos en una crisis a nivel mundial creo que lo que deberíamos hacer todos los países es defender el producto nacional. De hecho muchos ya lo hacen, pero nosotros dejamos que nos sigan quitando empresas… No me voy a meter en este tema porque puede acabar mal, pero ya sabéis cuánto me gusta defender productos españoles 100% y que además sean de calidad.

El producto estrella de mi look de hoy son estos botines de ante de flecos que además tenéis en mil colores y modelos. Cuando conocí esta firma que por cierto ya está triunfando en todo el mundo, ¿sabéis que es lo que más me gustó y lo que me ayudó a decidirme para colaborar con ellos? Que sea todo natural, ecológico. Si si, como lo leéis, todos sus productos a parte de ser made in Spain que eso para mí ya es un punto a favor, son “Made in Green” que significa que en TODO el proceso de elaboración desde el principio de la creación del zapato hasta que está terminado se utilizan materiales exclusivamente ecológicos. ¿No es algo increíble viendo el mundo en el que vivimos? Por eso me encanta enseñaros hoy mi elección: estos botines de cordones con flecos que además están forrados con borreguito por dentro (para las que me van a decir: ¡sin calcetines! Pues si, el pie va muy calentito y al menos yo no paso frío).

Al ser un color tan claro lo combiné con mi abrigo camel para seguir la misma línea. Un jersey con estampado floral para dar color al invierno al igual que los jeans blancos. Invierno no es sinónimo de colores oscuros y apagados eh. Y el complemento que más me gusta ahora mismo que es este bombín de imitación a piel de visón que no sabéis qué calentita me deja la cabeza y las orejas con el frío y viento de estos días.
