LACMA, Museo de Arte. Los Ángeles, California.

La verdad es que en esta ciudad por muchas veces que la hayas visitado o por mucho tiempo que lleves viviendo en ella, siempre siempre hay rincones por descubrir que te acaban sorprendiendo.

Hasta ahora no había tenido tiempo nunca de sentarme tranquilamente a disfrutar del bonito entorno del Museo de Arte LACMA de esta ciudad. Estas farolas son típicas y todos los que hemos pasado por LA tenemos alguna foto en ellas, pero si encima te toca un día perfecto de calor con cielo azul, el resultado son unas fotos tan bonitas como estas.

Hoy mi amigo Chema y yo, hemos cogido nuestras bicis (me encanta poder ir en bici de un sitio a otro) y nos hemos recorrido algunas calles de nuestra zona hasta llegar a este punto tan turístico. Y he de decir que hemos tenido bastante suerte ya que en estas fotos no he tenido que “apartar educadamente” a la gente, hahaha, porque no se si ha sido por la hora o porque era jueves pero no había mucha gente en este momento. Me encanta seguir descubriendo y disfrutando de esta ciudad y poder enseñaros y contaros todo por aquí.

Y he escogido un look my cómodo con jeans de estilo boyfriend, jersey oversize en rosa palo y botines en el mismo color que no, no he llevado para montar en bici, llevaba unas deportivas en la cesta.

¿Cómo se presenta vuestro finde? Espero que os estéis abrigando bien contra la ola de frío en Europa…

The truth is that in this city,for many times that you have visited it or many years that you have been living in here, there are always hidden corners to discover that will surprise you.

Until now I had never had time to sit for a moment and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the LACMA Museum of Art of this city. These streetlights are very typical and all of us who have passed through LA have a photo in front of them, but if you are lucky enough to have a perfect day of warmth with a blue sky, the result will be some photos as beautiful as these ones.

Today my friend Chema and I, have taken our bikes (I love to be able to go by bike from one place to another here) and we have gone to some streets around our neighbourhood until arriving at this tourist point. And I have to say that we have been very lucky because in these photos I have not had to “politely remove” people from the back, hahaha, because I do not know if it was for the time of the day or because it was Thursday but there were not many people at this moment. I love to continue discovering and enjoying this city and to be able to show you and tell you everything here.

And I have chosen a comfortable look with boyfriend style jeans, oversize jersey in pale pink and booties in the same color and no, I have not worn them to ride my bike, I was wearing sneakers in the basket.

¡Buenos días desde Dubai de nuevo!

Este es el último post donde os cuento qué más sitios visitamos en Doha.

Uno de los lugares que más me gustó a mi personalmente es el zoco. Siempre que tengo ocasión cuando voy de viaje a este tipo de países me meto en ellos para conocer más de cerca su cultura, sus costumbres y sobre todo a su gente. En las primeras fotos y vídeo veis el Soul de Doha, muy tradicional con puestos de todo tipo: se venden desde alfombras y productos para el hogar hasta animales vivos de lo más variados (reconozco que las anguilas son las que más asco me dieron haha).

Algo que me ha sorprendido gratamente desde que llegué a Doha y ahora también en Dubai es que aunque hay bastante seguridad en el país nadie hace nada ‘malo’. Aquí no te roban o te intentan engañar al verte cara de turista. Esto es algo que me gusta mucho porque así puedes pasear y conocer las ciudades libremente sin tener que estar pendiente de si te robarán algo o no. En el zoco pro ejemplo los vigilantes van montados a caballo como veis en las fotos, algo muy típico en estos países.

De nuevo volví a elegir ropa cómoda que me cubriese los brazos pero que tampoco me hiciese morirme de calor. Este tipo de jerseys de estilo colegial sabéis que están en plena tendencia y yo he escogido este perforado en color blanco con detalles en azul marino como complemento indispensable para mi primavera. Llevo jeans ajustados y mis bailarinas bicolor que son la mejor opción para las largas caminatas de estos días. Mi bolso tipo saco (ya se que no me lo quito), y mis gafas de sol.

Me voy a seguir conociendo Dubai, ¡muchos besos!

Morning again from Dubai!

This is the last post about what we did and visited in Doha. 

One of the places that I liked most to visit was the souk. Whenever I have time when traveling around these countries I came to these areas, these amazing city markets where I can really learn more about their culture, customs and especially its people. In the first photos and video you can see the Souq of Doha, very traditional with stalls of all kinds: the sell from carpets and household products to live animals of any variety and kind (I recognize that eels were the most disgusting for me to see haha) .

Something that has pleasantly surprised me since I arrived in Doha and now in Dubai is that although there is enough security in the cities nobody does anything ‘bad’. Here they do not steal or try to fool the tourist just seeing you face. This is something that I like so much because you can walk and discover the cities feeling free and without having to be aware of if someone is going to steal something or not. In the pics you can see that inside the souk the security go in horses, very typical in these countries.

I chose once again a comfortable clothes that covered my arms but avoid me to die of the hard heat. This kind of college style jerseys you know that are very trendy and I have chosen this one in white with navy blue details as an indispensable complement on my wardrobe for my spring. I’m wearing a pair of skinny jeans and my color blocked  flats which are the best choice for all those long walks these days. My shoulder bag of this trip (I know that I’m wearing it daily but I really love it!), and my sunnies for the day.

I’m leaving the hotel to keep on discovering this also amazing city: Dubai. Kisses!

Último día de la semana laborable y último post de mi semana en Nueva York… ooooh!

Este es uno de los días que mejor me lo pasé y no por el frío que hacía (que te congelaba hasta las ideas) sino porque en Madrid no ha nevado así nunca y me hizo mucha ilusión ver tanta nieve por las calles y sobre todo por Central Park.

Estas fotos fueron tomadas a la entrada del Museo Americano de Historia de ahí que haya tantos autobuses escolares en las calles. Como veis allí son todos amarillos aunque sean de distintas compañías.

Otro día más voy bastante abrigada con gorro de pelo, jersey gris de cuello vuelto y lana, abrigo largo negro, pantalones de cuero con cremalleras y mis nuevas zapatillas con plataforma que ya me habéis visto.

Os deseo a todos un feliz viernes y fin de semana y estad preparados para la semana que viene porque ¡tengo muchas sorpresas para vosotros!

Last working day of the week and last post of my last trip to New York …ooooh!

This is one of the days that I had a real funny time and not by how cold it was (we were completely frozen, even our ideas hehe) but because in Madrid has not snowed so hard ever so I was thrilled to see so much snow on the streets and especially in Central Park.

These photos were taken at the entrance of the American Museum of Natural History where there wer so many school buses on the streets. As you can see there are all in yellow color although they are from different companies.

I decided once again to wear warm clothes to fight the cold weather so I was wearing a warm fur hat, a soft gray turtleneck wool jersey, my long black coat, leather pants with zippers and my new sneakers with platform that you have already seen me.

¡Hey Sábado!

De nuevo un fin de semana soleado en Madrid… ¿quién dijo otoño?

En el post de hoy os enseño una de mis zonas favoritas de Madrid: la Iglesia de Los Jerónimos que está pegada al Museo del Prado. Me gusta mucho esta Iglesia tanto por la arquitectura exterior en colores claros y mármol con su gran escalinata, como por la zona en la que se encuentra enfrente del Museo más conocido de Madrid. Es un área de obligatoria visita para turistas tanto nacionales como extranjeros. No se si sabéis que el Museo del Prado es de entrada gratuita los domingos por la tarde y es uno de los planes que más me gusta hacer a mi sobre todo esos domingos de invierno en los que no sabes qué hacer.

Para este agradable paseo escogí mis jeans negros ajustados con cortes, una camiseta negra de ‘Homies‘, una blazer de cuadros blancos y negros y unas bailarinas bicolor en blanco y negro a juego con el resto del look. El toque de color ya veis que lo pone mi bolso rojo con tachuelas.

Y para los que estéis disfrutando del partido, Real Madrid-Barcelona, ¡que gane el mejor!

Hey Saturday!

Once again a perfect sunny weekend at the city… who said Autumn? 

In today’s post I show you one of my favorite parts of Madrid Los Jeronimos church that is next to the Prado Museum. I love this church not just because its exterior architecture in light colors and beige marble and its grand staircase, but for the area in which it is located just in front of the most famous museum in Madrid. It is a must go place for both national and foreign tourists. I don’t know if you already know that the Prado Museum is free entrance on Sunday afternoons and is one of the plans that I like most to do my especially those Sundays in winter when you do not know what to do with those low temperatures.

For this wonderful stroll I chose my black ripped skinny jeans, a black ‘Homies’ t-shirt a checkered blazer in black and white and my color-blocked flats in black and white too matching the rest of the look. As you can see on the pics the touch of color came with my red studded shoulder bag.

For those of you who are watching the football match, Real Madrid-Barcelona, may the best win!
