¡Buenos días familia!

Made mía, no me puedo creer lo rápido que se me ha pasado el año, ¡ya estamos en la semana de Navidad!

Sigo en Londres pero en unas horas cogeré un avión de vuelta a casa, ¡por fin! Y me quedaré en Madrid un par de semanas antes de volver a Estados Unidos… donde por cierto, ¡ya he conseguido mi VISA! Estoy muy muy contenta y orgullosa y me encanta ver cómo las cosas con trabajo y esfuerzo constante acaban viendo la luz.

Este es otro de los looks que llevé esta semana en Londres, más concretamente para mi reunión con la marca Asos. La verdad es que me encanta el traje completo. Desde que lo vi en la web sabía que iba a pedirlo porque aunque a simple vista parezca llamativo por el color después con algo básico negro debajo e incluso con deportivas como me visteis en Instagram, queda perfecto.

Hoy, Lunes, comenzamos la penúltima semana del año y os invito a que hagáis como yo haré estos días: reflexionar. Reflexionar sobre el 2016. ¿Qué nos ha traído? Si hemos vivido malas experiencias, aquí se quedan. Si han sido buenas, nos quedamos con este bonito recuerdo y esperamos a las que están por llegar.

Nadie es perfecto ni tiene la vida perfecta. Esto os lo he dicho mil veces. Por lo tanto lo mejor que podemos hacer, y eso es lo que intento hacer siempre yo, es aprender de los errores o momentos tristes y luchar por lo que realmente queremos y por tener más buenos momentos que malos. Todo esfuerzo acaba teniendo su recompensa.

He aprendido que en todo (en el trabajo, en las amistades, en el amor…), lo que tenga que ser, será. Y si no es es porque no era para nosotros. Solía ser más impaciente y por lo tanto más infeliz. Ahora me dedico a vivir el día a día, este momento, para que sea lo mejor posible, y mañana Dios dirá. Y creo que soy mucho más feliz ahora.

Las personas que quieran estar en nuestras vidas lucharán por estarlo. Pero no porque alguien desaparezca de ellas implica que hemos fracasado. No. Simplemente las personas a medida que crecemos vamos tomando nuestras propias decisiones y caminos y no siempre son los mismos. No pasa nada porque el tiempo es el que pone a cada uno en su sitio al final.

Good morning family!

Oh my God,, I can’t believe how fast the year has gone, we are already in Christmas week, yay!

I’m still in London but in a few hours I’ll catch a plane back home, finally! And I will stay in Madrid a couple of weeks before coming back to the United States… where by the way, I have already got my VISA! I am very very happy and proud of myself and I love to see how things with work and constant effort come to see the light.

This is another of the looks I was wearing this last working week in London, more specifically for my meeting with Asos brand. The truth is that I love the full suit. Since I saw it on their website I knew I was going to ask for it because although at first sight it looks flashy for the color then with something basic underneath and even with sneakers like you saw me on my Instagram account, it’s perfect.

Today, Monday, we start the penultimate week of the year and I invite you to do as I will do these days: to reflect. Reflect about 2016. What has brought us? If we have experienced bad things, they will stay here. If they have been good, we will keep them in our memory and we will wait for the better ones that are about to come.

No one is perfect and nobody has a perfect life. I have told you this a thousand times. So the best thing we can do, and that’s what I always try to do, is to learn from mistakes or sad moments and fight for what we really want and for having more good times than bad moments. Every effort ends up having its reward. Always. 

I have learned that in everything (at work, in friendships, in love…), what is meant to be, will be. And if it is not it is because it was not for us. I used to be more impatient and therefore more unhappy. But some months ago I decided to live day by day, this moment, to make it the best possible, and tomorrow God will say. And I think I’m much happier now.

People who want to be in our lives will fight to be. But not because someone disappears from them means that we have failed. No. Simply all of us as we grow up we are taking our own decisions and ways and their are not always the same. Nothing happens because time is the one that puts each one in its place at the end.

Lunes de nuevo pero y yo ya estoy recuperada casi al 100% para comenzar una nueva semana… ¡Allá vamos!

El naranja no suele ser un color que use a menudo porque muchas veces lo veo demasiado llamativo y difícil de combinar… pero cuando encuentro algo en naranja suave como me pasó con estos pantalones se acaba convirtiendo en un must para mi día a día. Ya sabéis que depende de con quien me reúna tengo que ir vestida de una u otra forma, supongo que a vosotros os pasará lo mismo. Por eso para un día de meetings más importantes opté por estos pantalones de vestir en color naranja pastel combinados con negro para romper con la seriedad del look. Llevo una camiseta básica negra con encaje en el borde de las mangas y mis sandalias mules que son una buena opción para los días en que tengo que caminar bastante. Me puse el cinturón de serpiente con hebilla dorada para romper con el color block del naranja y negro. Un pequeño clutch en tonos marrones y dos pulseras de garra en dorado y plateado fueron mis únicos complementos.

Monday again but I’m almost 100% recovered to start a new week… Let’s go! 

The orange is not a color that I used to wear often because many times I see it too flashy and hard to combine with other clothes… but when I find something in soft orange as I did with these pants it just becomes a must for my day a day. You know it depends on who I meet that I have to go dressed in one way or another, I guess it happens the same to you at your job. So for a day of important meetings I opted for these suit pants  in soft orange color combined with black accessories to break up the seriousness of the look. I was wearing a basic black t-shirt with lace on the edge of the sleeves and my mules sandals which are always a good choice for those days when I have to walk a lot. I put on my snake print belt with golden buckle to break the color block of the orange and black. A small clutch in brown colors and two claw bracelets in gold and silver were my only complements.
