Último post de mi fin de semana en Valencia. No nos podíamos ir sin visitar el Parque Natural de La Albufera y dar un paseo por los campos de arroz.

En el vídeo de hoy os cuento y os enseño más detalladamente todo lo que visitamos y cómo la zona ha ido cambiado desde hace unos siglos hasta nuestros días.

 Un día más he optado por un look muy campero y cómodo con chaqueta étnica de estilo oversize, jersey de cuello vuelto gris, jeans ajustados y zapatillas deportivas a juego con el bolso y los detalles de la chaqueta.

La verdad es que tengo que reconocer que el vídeo y las fotos de hoy son mis favoritos porque me siento muy identificada tanto con el look como el entorno. Es un estilo muy casual que es lo que más me gusta ponerme cuando no tengo ningún evento o acto importante. Como os comenté en el post de ayer me ha encantado estar disfrutando de la naturaleza y de los animales porque me ha servido para relajarme y poder desconectar aunque sea por unas horas…

Last post of my weekend in Valencia. We could not leave without visiting La Albufera and take a walk through the rice fields inside the Natural Park. 

In the video I tell you every detail of what we visited, how the area has changed over the centuries and the history of the rice fields. You know that a very typical Spanish food is “paella” which is made with rice. 

One more day I returned to choose a very comfortable and a styling field look with an oversize wool jacket with ethnic print a grey turtleneck sweater, my dark gray skinny jeans and my Superstar sneakers.

The truth is that the photos and video of today’s post are my favourite ones because it is where I see myself more natural and comfortable. Many of the photos were taken spontaneously and while I was in the countryside watching and listening to the animals. As I told you yesterday it gave me a great peace of mind and helped me to really disconnect for a few hours.

¡Buenos días chicos!

Por fin vuelve a brillar el sol en la capital. A mi ya sabéis que el sol y los días soleados me dan siempre mucha más energía para mis días de trabajo, como que lo veo todo desde un punto de vista más positivo.

Como os comenté ayer no hemos parado este fin de semana en Valencia y hoy os dejo un nuevo video post donde os cuento cosas que seguro que no conocéis de La Albufera. ¿Sabíais que tenía una superficie de 30.000 hectáreas hace varios siglos y que actualmente el pantano sólo son unas 3.000? Este y muchos más detalles los veréis en el vídeo de hoy y en el del jueves.

Aunque lo escogí sin pensar muy bien en el entorno, mi look encaja perfectamente con los colores de los barcos en los que nos montamos para pasear por el lago. Llevo un vestido negro de manga larga y un chaleco de ante por encima, en color marrón, ya sabéis que es uno de los regalos de Reyes de mi hermana. Los botines a juego en ante marrón y negro fueron mi opción como calzado. Al poder disfrutar de unas temperaturas altas para ser invierno no nos hizo falta llevar nada más de abrigo aunque lo que no faltó fue el viento: ¡casi salimos volando! hehe. Desde luego fue una experiencia preciosa para mi por dos motivos: el primero es porque no conocía La Albufera, y creo que es un sitio de obligatoria visita; y el segundo porque en medio de tanta naturaleza y animales te das cuenta de todo lo que nos perdemos los que vivimos en ciudades enormes como Madrid…

Gracias de nuevo a Paradores por hacernos disfrutar de un fin de semana perfecto.

Good morning guys!

Finally the sun shines again in the capital of Spain. To me you know that the sun and the sunny days always give me more energy for my daily work, it gives me many positive vibes.

As I mentioned yesterday we had a not stop weekend in Valencia and today I show you a new video post where I explain to you some things that I’m sure you don’t know about La Albufera. Did you know that it used to be an area of ​​30,000 hectares some centuries ago and now the swamp is only about 3,000? I tell you this and some other details today’s video and in the last one on Thursday.

Although I didn’t think so much my outfit according to the background, in the end my look matched perfectly with the colors of the boats that we took to stroll around the swamp, and the colors of the nature. I was wearing a little black dress (LBD) and a suede vest above, in brown, you know that is one of my sister’s last gifts. My suede boots in brown and black matching the rest of the outfit were my choice as footwear. Being able to enjoy a high winter temperatures to be in December we did not need to take anything more but as you can see in the video the wind was blowing so strong that we almost flight away! haha. Of course this was a beautiful experience for me for two reasons: first, because I had never been in La Albufera before and I think it is a must visit place of Spain; and second because in the middle of the nature and seeing all these animals you realize everything that we miss those who live in big cities like Madrid…

Primer post de mi viaje a Valencia.

Como sabéis todos he pasado unos días maravillosos en el Parador de El Saler, en la Comunidad Valenciana, donde fui con mi amiga Isa ya que en tren se encuentra simplemente a una hora y media de Madrid.

El Parador está ubicado muy cerca de La Albufera de Valencia y está en medio de un campo de golf en frente del mar y de un frondoso bosque. Es el lugar perfecto para desconectar, relajarnos y respirar aire puro, al menos nosotras es lo que hemos conseguido.

¿Que os gusta la naturaleza? Podéis ir a daros un paseo en barca por La Albufera, que os lo enseñaré mañana, y disfrutar de la vegetación, las aves y sobre todo la historia de cómo se ha ido formando. A los que os guste el golf deciros que este campo cuenta con un hoyo, el 17 concretamente, que está entre los 100 mejores de Europa. A los que queráis realmente desconectar y “no hacer nada” tenéis la playa en frente y un spa con masajes de todo tipo.

Tengo que decir que este día, que fue el primero, me vestí así por todas las actividades que teníamos programas y que ya vísteis en mi Snapchat y que os contaré en el siguiente vídeo. Se que no es el look más apropiado para jugar al golf pero es lo que tenía y además era simplemente un “bautismo de golf”.

Mañana os contaré nuestra divertida tarde en La Albufera con Manolo pero quiero agradecer desde aquí a Francisco, director del Parador y a todos los trabajadores del mismo, lo bien que nos han tratado en todo momento. La experiencia ha sido inmejorable, ¡GRACIAS!

Y mañana seguiremos con más y mejor.

First post about my trip to Valencia.

As you all know I have spent a wonderful weekend at Parador de El Saler, in Valencia, where I went with my friend Isa by train as it is just an hour and a half from Madrid.

The Parador is located very close to the Albufera of Valencia and is in the middle of a golf course in front of the sea and a wonderful forest. It is the perfect place to be in calm and peace, relax and breathe fresh air, at least is what we have achieved.

What can you do there? You can go to visit by boat La Albufera, which I’ll show you tomorrow, and enjoy the vegetation, birds and especially the history of how it has been formed. For those who like the golf I must tell you that this golf course has a hole, 17th in particular, which is one of the 100 best in Europe. And for those who really want to unwind and “do nothing” you have the beach just in front of the hotel and an amazing spa with massages of all kinds.

I have to say that this day, which was the first, I was dressed like this for all activities and programs that we had and that you saw through my Snapchat and in the video that I’m preparing. It is not the most appropriate look to play golf but it was just a “baptism of golf”, my first time.

Tomorrow I’ll tell our fun afternoon at La Albufera with Manolo but I have to thank Francisco, the director of the Parador and all the workers, for the good treat that they have given to us at all times. The experience has been excellent, THANK YOU!
