Tercer día en Israel. Quedamos como cada día a las 7am en el lobby del hotel. Esta vez nos alojamos en el Hotel Grand Court Jerusalem.

Visitamos la ciudad de Jerusalem por dentro. Núcleo central de varias religiones, entre ellas la mía. Desde que he conocido esta ciudad os puedo asegurar que de todas las que he visitado en mi vida es la que más me ha gustado, mi favorita del mundo. No sólo por este tema de la religión que se que muchos os emocionasteis conmigo al ver algunos de los vídeos, sobre todo los de dentro del sepulcro de Jesús, sino también por cómo está construida con piedras exclusivamente de allí, toda la historia que tiene, lo que significa para tanta gente, sus calles, los colores… ¡Me encantó!

Como os comento recorrimos las calles hasta llegar a la iglesia central donde fue crucificado Nuestro Señor Jesucristo y enterrado hasta que resucitó al tercer día. Es impresionante ver todo tan bien conservado y también a todos los creyentes, emocionados, creo que ha sido de las experiencias más bonitas de mi vida y desde luego la más importante.

Después nos dirigimos a Ciudad Santa, donde paramos en el Muro de las Lamentaciones y además dejé un deseo entre sus paredes antes de subir a un bonito mirador para contemplar todo desde las alturas.

Para visitar esta zona hay que ir con los hombros y las piernas cubiertos (o falda/vestido por debajo de la rodilla). Os recomiendo que si vais en temporada de verano os llevéis un sombrero y gafas de sol porque hace bastante calor. Yo escogí unos pantalones blancos, mi camiseta diseñada por mi con frase “EHFAR” (que podéis comprar AQUÍ) y un caftán por encima para cubrir mis hombros.

Aquí pasamos todo el día así que yo hice algunas compritas y luego volví a la Iglesia a bendecir todo para traerlo a casa. Lo más típico son los colgantes o pulseras con la mano de Hamsa que es para protegernos o la estrella de David que también tiene significado para los católicos. Además en El Muro de las Lamentaciones te atan unas pulseras rojas (yo llevo una que compré) y tienes que pedir un deseo y dejarla hasta que se caiga.

Este día fue para mí el más especial de todo el viaje y probablemente de mi vida. Por eso me hace mucha ilusión haberlo compartido con vosotros.

Third day in Israel. We were like every day at 7am ready at the lobby of our hotel. This time we stayed at the Grand Court Hotel Jerusalem.

We visited the city of Jerusalem inside. It is the center of various religions, including mine. Since I’ve known this city I can assure you all (and I have visited many amazing cities in my life) that is the one I’ve liked most, my favorite in the world. Not only because this issue of the religion that many of you also thrilled with me seeing some of the videos I shared especially those inside the tomb of Jesus, but also for how it is built with stones exclusively from there, all the history that it has behind, what it means to so many people around the world, it streets, colors … loved it!

We walked these cute streets until the central church where Our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and buried until he resurrected after the third day. It is impressive to see everything so well preserved and all believers, excited, I think it was the most beautiful experiences of my life and certainly the most important.

Then we headed to the Holy City, where we stopped at the Western Wall and also left a wish within its walls before arriving to a nice lookout point to see everything from above.

To visit this area you should dress with the shoulders and legs covered (or skirt/dress below the knee). I recommend you that if you go in summer time take a hat and sunglasses because it gets pretty hot. I chose white pants, my shirt designed by me with the sentence “EHFAR” (which you can buy HERE) and a caftan over to cover my shoulders.

Here we spent the whole day so I did some shopping and I returned to the church to bless everything to bring it home. The most typical things are the necklaces or bracelets with the Hamsa hand to protect yourselves or the Star of David that also has a meaning for Catholics. Also in the Western Wall they tie you a red bracelet (I have one that I bought) and you have to make a wish and leave it until it falls.

This day was for me the most special of the whole trip and probably of my life. So I’m very excited to have shared it with you guys.

Día 2 en el bonito país de Israel.

Como siempre nos levantamos pronto para ir a descubrir nuevos sitios. Hoy toca tachar otro de mi lista de deseos: flotar en el Mar Muerto.

Llegamos primero para conocer por dentro la fábrica Ahava (que significa “amor”en hebreo como os conté en mis redes sociales) donde nos explicaron todo el proceso de realización de cada una de las cremas. Es increíble ver todos los ingredientes de cada una de ellas y la de cambios que se hacen hasta que se consigue la crema final. Se dice además que son una de las mejores cremas del mundo y yo llevo esta semana usándolas (concretamente las de cuerpo, manos y pies) y me están dejando la piel muy suave e hidratada. Además también me he traído sal del Mar Muerto para los baños relajantes que sabéis que me gusta darme de vez en cuando.

Después nos dirigimos al spa Synergy en frente del Mar Muerto donde podéis las fabulosas vistas desde sus piscinas y donde también veis que hay una piscina cubierta con agua de este mismo mar donde flotamos igual. Si vais a este país tenéis que pasar por este spa aunque sea para tomar algunas fotos desde este mirador chicos. Además nos dimos un masaje en el que yo me quedé frita porque la verdad es que han sido unos días de no parar, pero increíbles.

Por fin por la tarde bajamos a la playa, al Mar Muerto y cumplí uno de mis sueños: ¡flotar en sus aguas! Miradnos a Carlos y a mi nadando boca arriba, boca abajo, sentados… ¡es impresionante!

Y para terminar el día volvimos a Jerusalén a cenar en uno de los mejores restaurantes de allí: Montefiore, donde volvimos a degustar la comida típica de la zona como verduras, ensaladas de queso y cherries, hummus, pollo, etc.

Day 2 in the beautiful country of Israel.

As always, we woke up early to go and discover new places. This time I can cross another thing of my bucket list: to float in the Dead Sea.

We arrived first to meet from the inside the Ahava factory (which means “love” in Hebrew as I told you on my social networks) where they explained to us the whole process of realization of each of the creams. It is amazing to see all the ingredients of each one and the changes they have to make until the final cream is achieved. It is also said that Ahava products are one of the best in the world and I’ve been using them this week (specifically the body, hands and feet ones) and I can tell you that they are super soft and my skin is super hydrated. In addition to this I have also brought salt from the Dead Sea for my baths bubbles baths that you know I like to take occasionally whenever I have the time.

Then we headed to the Synergy Spa in front of the Dead Sea where you can see the fabulous views from its swimming pools. You can see on the pics that there is also an indoor pool with water from this sea so we floated the same. If you go to this country you have to go through this spa even to take just some pictures from this viewpoint guys. Furthermore we took a massage in which I was felt asleep because the truth is that they have been a few days of not stopping, but amazing of course!

Finally in the afternoon we went down to the beach, the Dead Sea and I fulfilled one of my dreams: to float in this sea! Look at us,Carlos and me, swimming face up, face down, sitting… it’s was such a magical moment!

And to end the day we went back to Jerusalem for have dinner in one of the best restaurants there: Montefiore, where we returned to taste typical local food like vegetables, cheese and cherries salads, hummus, chicken, etc.
