Visitar, disfrutar y hacer mil fotos y vídeos en el Cañón del Colorado. HECHO.

Me gusta poder ir tachando cosas de mi “lista de cosas que hacer o visitar antes de morir” (conocida también como “bucket list” en inglés).

Este pasado fin de semana hemos estado en 3 estados diferentes. Increíble que todo haya pasado en apenas 48 horas. Palm Springs y el Parque Nacional Joshua Tree se encuentran en California. Las Vegas está ubicado en el estado de Nevada y por último el Gran Cañón pertenece al estado de Arizona.

Teníamos varias opciones para hacer el tour al Gran Cañón, y al final nos decantamos por la de ir en coche privado desde Las Vegas hasta allí ya que está solamente a dos horas (eso es Estados Unidos es una distancia muy corta), y porque lo que queríamos también es ir parándonos en la carretera cuando quisiéramos para ir haciendo fotos y grabando vídeos por el camino.

El Gran Cañón se encuentra dentro de las tierras de los Hualapai y tiene 3 cara diferentes. La Norte que es la más fría y la que casi nadie visita, la Oeste que es la que visitamos nosotros porque es la que tiene mejores vistas a lo que es toda la extensión de esta maravilla natural, y la sur que es a la que se puede acceder en helicóptero y visitar las montañas del Cañón por dentro pero es una excursión que no se puede hacer en un día.

Por lo tanto nosotros subimos en coche hasta el Rancho de los Hualapai, donde luego comimos, y de ahí se coge un bus interno de ellos que pasa cada 5 minutos y para en los dos miradores más importantes: el mirador del Águila y el mirador del Guano (que ya os enseñaré en mi vídeo de dónde viene esta palabra haha).

Sinceramente cuando te encuentras así, en medio de una de las maravillas naturales de este mundo, poco más hay que añadir y que importe en ese momento. Después de todo nuestro reportaje, me quedé sentada unos minutos en estas rocas al borde del abismo y desde luego esa sensación de que nada más importa en ese momento, de que sólo estáis las montañas y tú y esas espectaculares vistas, es algo indescriptible.

To visit, to enjoy and to take a thousand photos and videos at the Grand Canyon. DONE.

I like so much crossing things on my “bucket list”, don’t you? 

This last weekend we have been in 3 different states, amazing! And only in just 48 hours… Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park are located in California. Las Vegas is located in the state of Nevada and finally the Grand Canyon belongs to the state of Arizona. Here you can go through one state to another one very quickly and easily. As I told you there’s just one main road. 

We had many options to make the tour to the Grand Canyon, and at the end we decided to go by private car from Las Vegas to there as it is only two hours (in United States is a very short distance), and because we wanted to also stop by the road to take some other photos and videos along the way.

The Grand Canyon is within the lands of the Hualapai tribe and has 3 different faces/sides. The North is the coldest one and almost no one visit this side, only specialists; the West is the one we visited because it is the one that has the best views of the full extent of this natural wonder; and the South which is accessible by helicopter and you can visit the mountains of the Grand Canyon inside, is a trip that can not be done in just one day.

So we drove the car until Hualapai Ranch, where after we had lunch, and then an internal bus of them passing every 5 minutes, took us to the two most important viewpoints of this area: the Eagle’s viewpoint and the Guano’s viewpoint (which I will tell you soon in my video where this word comes from haha).

Honestly when you are there, enjoying the views of one of the world’s natural wonders, there is nothing else that matters. After all our pics and videos story, I sat a few minutes on these rocks over the edge and certainly that feeling that nothing else matters at that time, that there are only the mountains and you and those spectacular views, is something indescribable.

Siento haber tardado en publicar el post de hoy pero aquí en Lisboa ¡no paro!

La verdad es que me estoy volviendo adicta al estilo americano, y más concretamente de Los Ángeles (que son las firmas que llevo en los looks de hoy), de cuanto más sencilla mejor.

Así que hoy os dejo estos 3 looks donde llevo dos de las marcas de allí que más me gustan: Anine Bing y Ragdoll LA.  Ya me habéis visto muchas cosas de ellos en otros posts porque como os digo para mi son las mejores firmas de básicos.

Empezando por orden creo que el primero es el que más va con mi estilo: jeans ajustados con camiseta rosa palo de cuello cerrado y sin mangas. Como calzado mis comodísimas bailarinas que me compro siempre en Londres cuando se me rompen del uso.

El segundo estilismo es el más sexy por decirlo de alguna manera con el mono negro con detalles lenceros y un jersey de lana gris por encima para restarle elegancia al outfit. Esta es una técnica muy buena para cuando queremos quitar importancia a algo que llevamos más arreglado.

El tercero es el más deportivo y casual y también es una opción muy socorrida para mi día a día. Llevo camiseta con estampado de leopardo en gris y negra, me encanta desde que la vi por primera vez. Debajo de nuevo jeans negros ajustados, unas sneakers y maxi gafas de sol.

I’m so sorry for the delay posting today’s post but here in Lisbon it’s like not stop all day!

The truth is that I’m getting addicted to American style, specifically to Los Angeles style (from where are the brands that I use to wear daily and I show you in today’s pics). The always do the same: the simpler the better.

So today I show these 3 looks wearing two of my favourite brands from there: Anine Bing and Ragdoll LA. You’ve already seen me many times wearing them in other posts because as I said to me these are the top brands in basics.

Let’s stat with the first order which is the most similar to my personal style: skinny black jeans with a soft pink shirt with closed neck and sleeveless. I’m also wearing my super comfy flat shoes that I always use to buy in London when they are old.

The second outfit is the hottest styling for the black playsuit with lingerie details on the edges and over I’m wearing a gray wool sweater to rest elegance to the outfit. This is a very good option that they always use to do when they want to go more well dressed but with that casual or comfy touch. 

The third look is the more sporty and casual and is also a very good option for my day. I’m wearing a leopard print shirt in gray and black, I love it since I saw it for the first time. Once again I’m wearing my black ripped jeans, my Stan Smith sneakers and my black leather maxi sunnies.

Siempre me preguntáis que en qué consiste mi día a día… y aunque intento siempre contaros en mis redes sociales lo que hago prácticamente en cada momento hoy os lo cuento con algo más de detalle.

Me suelo levantar pronto para ducharme, finalizar los últimos detalles de cada post y los suelo publicar sobre las 10 de la mañana. A continuación siempre tengo reuniones: bien sea con revistas, entrevistas, shootings, nuevos fotógrafos o ayudantes, showrooms, nuevas marcas… para ir negociando nuevas colaboraciones con todos ellos siempre pensando en lo que os pueda gustar e interesar a vosotros.

En esta ocasión me reuní para desayunar en el Hotel Orfila que es uno de mis lugares con encanto favoritos de Madrid. Este patio interior parece no estar en el centro de “la jungla” madrileña hehe.

Para una reunión de día escogí un outfit fresco y juvenil con un punto arreglado con los oxfords de cordones. Llevo cazadora de cuero en rosa palo que al llevar detalles en plata combiné con mi nueva camiseta con print de leopardo en gris y negro y unos jeans grises ajustados. Los blucher plateados a juego son el toque más llamativo del look. Como siempre opté por mi reloj total black y unos anillos finos.

Si no conocéis este Hotel desde luego os recomiendo visitarlo porque merece la pena su exquisita decoración y atención.

You always ask me about my day a day… and although I always try to tell you everything on my social networks today I tell you here some more details.

I usually get up early to take a shower, finalizing the last details of each post and then publish it around  10am. Then I always have some meetings: either with magazines, interviews, shootings, new photographers and assistants, showrooms, new brands… to talk about new collaborations with them always thinking about what I could interest you most.

On this occasion I had a meeting for having breakfast at Orfila Hotel which actually is one of my favorite charmed places of Madrid. This courtyard doesn’t seem to be in the center of Madrid “jungle” hehe.

For a meeting day I chose a fresh, youthful outfit with an elegant touch with my lace oxfords. I was wearing a leather jacket in soft pink with silver details that I use to combine with my new leopard print t-shirt in gray and black. I chose a pair of gray skinny jeans. My silver blucher matching the look were the most striking outfit touch. As always I chose my total black watch and some thin rings.

If you didn’t know this hotel yet I absolutely recommend you to visit it because it’s worth seen its exquisite deco and personal attention.

De nuevo vuelta a la rutina. Para mis reuniones de ayer, que además fue un día bastante largo, me apetecía verme arreglada y guapa después de unas vacaciones tan relajadas y de turismo como las que he tenido.

Por eso decidí ponerme una mini falda de cuero negra que es un color serio para los meetings pero las cremalleras le daban el toque moderno. Mi camiseta de ‘Meow’ que me encanta y que no sólo las new yorkers llevan con estilo. Creo que la combinación blanco o beige con negro sabéis de sobre que es una de mis favoritas. Y llevaba tiempo queriendo estrenar estos zapatos que os enseñé en mis redes sociales y ayer fue el mejor día para ello. Están hechos completamente por mi misma. Escogí un modelo peeptoe porque me parecen más cómodos y también más sexy que se vean los dedos. Los estampados de animales me vuelven loca por eso esta vez quise combinar el de serpiente pero en dos colores: natural con burdeos, ¿qué os parece mi elección? Como accesorios opté por mis dos relojes Pepito (de calavera y de corazón con cristales de Swarovski) y unos anillos finos. El bolso del búho de lentejuelas es de mis últimas adquisiciones nada más llegar a Madrid y creo que le voy a sacar bastante rentabilidad…

Ya sólo queda un día para el finde, ¡ánimo!

Already back to the routine. To my yesterday meetings, which was also a long and busy day, I wanted to feel more elegant and sexy after the relaxing and tourism holidays that I’ve had.

So I decided to wear a black leather mini skirt which is a serious color for the meetings but the silver zippers gave the modern touch. My ‘Meow’ tee that I love and not only new yorkers rock it he he. I think that the combination of white or beige with black you already know that is one of my favs. And I’ve been waiting for a long time to wear for the first time these shoes that I showed you on my social networks and yesterday for sure was the best day to do it. They are made entirely by myself. I chose a peep toe model because it is more comfortable and also sexy showing the fingers . And you also know that I’m mad about animal prints so this time I wanted to combine the snake print but in two different colors: natural with burgundy, what you think about my choice? As accessories I chose my two Pepito watches (skull and heart with Swarovski crystals) and thin rings. The sequin owl clutch is one of my latest acquisitions since I came back to Madrid and I’m already thinking about a lot of posible combinations with my clothes…
