¡VIERNES!

He conseguido superar esta súper semana, no se cómo, pero por fin llegó el viernes.

Ayer fue un día bastante largo de trabajo, pero me lo pasé genial y cerré proyectos que estoy deseando contaros. Por la mañana tuvimos 3 reuniones para acciones que pronto veréis. Después entrevisté al grupo Taburete para mi canal de Youtube, que es por lo que más me estáis preguntando todos. El domingo estará la entrevista completa en mi canal MARTACARRIEDO.TV . ¡Os va a encantar! Después les entrevisté también para Non Stop People, en mi sección de la vida de un influencer. Por último fui a la presentación del nuevo disco de Sara Serena, “Skyline”, que menuda voz que tiene con sólo 18 años.

Así que después de una semana así hoy he decidido tomarme un día de “descanso” y aunque trabajaré por la tarde ahora me voy a ir a hacerme la manicura y pedicura como siempre en My Little Momo, donde mejor me cuidan, para llevarla perfecta para la Fashion Week de París la semana que viene. Después tengo cita por fin en Sam See, el centro donde voy siempre a darme masajes para recuperarme del estrés diario, y estoy deseando llegar y que me “arreglen” la espalda. ¡Qué gusto!

Y me despido con otro de mis looks y fotos de mi barrio en Los Angeles: West Hollywood, más conocido coloquialmente como “We Ho” (por aquello de abreviar las palabras). Es una zona muy tranquila y segura como ya os he comentado en otras ocasiones donde podéis ver que las casas son ideales con pequeños porches y luego jardines traseros. Me encantan las casas pintadas de varios colores, los columpios en el porche, los coches antiguos…

Llevo jeans estilo boyfriend con camisa de rayas y volantes que me voy a poner bastante, es muy de mi estilo. Sandalias, que allí las temperaturas ya lo permiten, y mi bolso multicolor a juego.

FRIDAY!

I can’t believe I finally managed to overcome this super long week for me, but finally it is here, Friyay!

Yesterday was a pretty long day of work, but I had a great time and signed projects that I’m looking forward to tell you and show you. In the morning we had 3 meetings for actions that you will soon discover. Then I interviewed the music group “Taburete” for my Youtube channel, which is why most you are asking me about. On Sunday afternoon you will have the complete interview on my TV channel MARTACARRIEDO.TV. You’ll love it! Then I also interviewed them for Non Stop People tv channel, in my section of an influencer’s lifestyle. Finally I went to the presentation of Sara Serena’s new album, “Skyline”, which has a fab voice with only 18 years old.

So after a week like this today I decided to take a day of “rest” and although I will work in the afternoon now I’m going to go to do my manicure and pedicure as always at My Little Momo, where they better take care of me, to have it perfect for The Fashion Week in Paris next week. Then I finally have a date at Sam See, the center where I always go to have the best massages to recover from the daily stress, and I’m looking forward to getting my back “fixed”. What a pleasure!

And here you have another of my looks and photos of my neighborhood in Los Angeles: West Hollywood, better known as “We Ho” (to shorten the words). It is a very quiet and safe area as I have told you in other occasions where you can see that lovely the houses with small porches and also back gardens. I love painted houses in different colors, swings at the entrance, old cars…

I wear boyfriend style jeans with a striped shirt that I’m going to wear a lot because it’s very much my style. Sandals, because there in LA the temperatures already allow it, and my matching multicolored bag.

¡Buenos días familia!

Y buenos días de Lunes… O “blue Monday” como lo llaman algunos. Aparte de ser lunes, comienzo de una nueva semana, se dice que es el pero lunes del año. Es el más frío, el que menos dinero tenemos después de las navidades, en el que más tristes estamos… no se, a mí todas estas cosas por mucho que estén basadas en estudios reales me parecen un poco tontería. Yo no soy supersticiosa la verdad y pienso que todo en la vida es cuestión de la actitud que tengamos y de las ganas que pongamos, así que hagamos que sea un lunes lo más llevadero posible.

Yo, después de los 4 días que he tenido para recuperarme del jet lag y adaptarme a mi vida americana, comienzo una semana llena de reuniones, shootings, y firmas de contratos que espero poder contaros dentro de poco. ¡Deseadme suerte! Os iré contando todo lo que pueda a través de mi Stories.

Y primer post/look desde Los Angeles. Ya sabéis que no soy muy de vestir con estampados o colores muy llamativos, pero es cierto que el rosa clarito o pastel es un color que pienso que sienta bien a casi cualquier mujer. Escogí este abrigo cortito de pelo rosa y lo combiné con una camiseta en rosa palo. Debajo jeans ajustados, hoy en gris (para todas las que me preguntáis tanto os recuerdo que es el modelo Jamie de Topshop que tengo en todos los colores y cortes). Y qué bien hice en meterme finalmente estos botines en la maleta porque el tacón ancho es perfecto para caminar además de ser súper cool de metacrilato y la punta abierta me parece un detalle divertido y diferente.

Estas fotos las hice en la zona donde vivo en Los Angeles. Vivo en la calle 3 al lado del centro comercial Grove en West Hollywood. Me gusta esta zona porque es la más céntrica y la que mejor ubicada está para poder ir caminando a todos lados y como veis está llena de las típicas casas americanas, me encanta.

¡Ánimo con el día! Recordad que podemos con todo porque querer es poder…

Good morning family!

And good morning Monday… Or “blue Monday” as some people call it. Apart from being Monday, beginning of a new working week, it is said that today is the worst Monday of the year. It is the coldest, the day we we have less money after Christmas, in which we are most sad… I do not know if all these things are true or not, however they are based on real studies, but to me it seems like a silly thing. Sincerely I am not a superstitious woman and I think that everything in life is a matter of attitude, so let’s make from this Monday a perfect working day and be as positive as possible.

After these last 4 days I’ve spent trying to recover from my jet lag and adapt to my American life, I start a new week full of meetings, shootings, and contract signatures that I hope to be able to tell you soon. Wish me luck! I will tell you everything I can through my Stories.

And first post/look from Los Angeles. You know that I don’t like to wear many prints or bright colors, I prefer basic clothes, but it is true that the soft pink or pastel pink is a color that I think that looks good almost on any woman. I chose this short fur coat in pink and I combined it with a pink t-shirt too, babe. I was wearing my high waisted skinny jeans, today in gray (for all of you who ask me so much about them I remind you that I use Jamie model from Topshop, I have them in all colors and designs). And I’m happy to finally put inside my luggage these soft pink suede boots  because the wide heel is perfect for walking in addition being methacrylate is a super cool detail and the open peep toe seems a fun and different detail to me.

I took this photos in my neighbourhood where I live in Los Angeles. I live on 3rd Street next to the Grove Mall in West Hollywood. I like this area because it is the most central and is also the best located to be able to walk everywhere and as you can see is full of typical American houses, I love it.

Si, lo reconozco. No soy la típica chica que se compra mil pijamas. La verdad es que teniendo en cuenta lo ordenada que soy con todo y más con la ropa (siempre llevo la ropa interior a juego con lo que llevo puesto, otra de mis manías), hasta me sorprende. De hecho no creo que tenga ningún pijama “completo”. Cuando llego a casa cojo unos pantalones, una camiseta, y me lo pongo todo junto, salga lo que salga hehe.

Por eso me ha hecho especial ilusión este regalito navideño de Vicky Bargallo. Si miráis su web veréis los distintos diseños de pijamas que tienen tanto para hombre como para mujer. Yo escogí este de flores rosas y moradas porque es un color con el que me siento a gusto para estar por casa.

Amigo… amigo es aquel que te mira a los ojos y sin decir una palabra sabe lo que piensas, lo que sientes, lo que vas a decir. Amigo es aquella persona que ha estado en los momentos buenos si, pero sobre todo en los malos dándote su hombro para llorar, desahogarte y después reír a carcajadas. Carlos es de mis mejores amigos, lo puedo afirmar sin ninguna duda. Igual que os digo que de estos, de los “de verdad”, tengo pocos.

Yes, I admit it. I’m not the kind of girl that purchase a thousand of pajamas. The truth is that based on that I am very tidy person when talking about clothes (I always wear underwear matching my clothes, another of my hobbies) this really surprise me. In fact I do not think I have a complete pijama. When I come home I just take some pants, a shirt, and I put it all together, whatever it happens hehe.

Because of this it made me especially excited this Christmas gift from Vicky Bargallo. If you look at their website you will see many different pyjamas designs for men and women. I chose this pink and purple flowered one because it is a color and a print that I feel good when I’m at home.

A friend… What’s a friend? A real friend is someone who looks at you, to your eyes and wordlessly knows what are you thinking, what are you feeling, what you’re gonna say. A friend is someone who has been there for you in the good times, but especially in bad situations giving his shoulder to you to cry, and then laugh out loud together. Carlos is one of my best friends, I can say this without any doubt. As I say more, one from the “real” ones, that I heave really a few.

Pijamas: Vicky Bargallo.

“A grandes males, grandes remedios”. O eso me solía decir mi abuelo desde que era pequeña. Pues eso es lo que ha decidido hacer el artista Felipe creando en tiempos de crisis un producto muy original.Y es que él es el creador nada más y nada menos que de estos ya famosos ‘Poppis’ que son unas esculturas de perros de raza buldog francés que se han hecho eco por todo el mundo. Después de triunfar con estos modelos ha sacado otras variantes como los ‘Pippo y Pipa’ que son de tamaño mediano o los más pequeños que son los ‘Poppines’ que yo desde luego me los llevaría en todos los colores (ya visteis que escogí el rosa fucsia para mi casa). ¿La última novedad? Estas calaveras con cuernos llamadas ‘Hornys’ también personalizadas al estilo de cada uno que desde mi punto de vista son muy roqueras a la vez que modernas. Sólo hay 222, si quieres saber por qué estate atento al vídeo…

Ya han sido muchas las marcas y celebrities con las que ha colaborado y que ya tienen varios en su poder, ¿cómo sería vuestro Poppi ideal? Porque lo mejor de todo esto es que Felipao (como es más conocido entre sus amigos y de ahí el nombre de su empresa) realiza pedidos a medida según el estilo, colores, motivos, etc. que queramos cada uno.

Os dejo a continuación la entrevista que pude hacerle en su exposición en Casa Decor en Madrid y ya sabéis “Ser diferente es algo único y bueno, ¡únete!”.

“To great evils, great remedies”, or that’s what my grandfather used to tell me when I was little. So that’s why the artist Felipe has decided to create in times of crisis a very original and cool product. He is the creator of these famous ‘Poppis’ sculptures that represent a dog, specifically a French bulldog that are releasing worldwide. After succeeding with these models he has introduced new icons such as ‘Pippo and Pippa’  that are medium size or the smallest ones ‘Poppines’. Although I like all colores I’ve chosen the pink one for my home. What’s new in? The last products are these customized skulls with horns called ‘Hornys’ that are rocking it all. There are only 222, if you want to know why just watch out the video…

Many brands and celebrities has already worked with him and they have some of these art pieces in their homes, how would your fav Poppi be? Because another goal is that Felipao (as he is known by his friends and that’s the reason of the name of the company) makes custom orders according to your style, colors, patterns, home, etc. 

Here you have a little interview I did to him in his exhibition at Casa Decor in Madrid, and remember “Being different is something unique and so good, join us!”.

¡Buenos días!

¿Cómo ha ido el fin de semana? Yo lo he aprovechado al máximo aunque hoy hayamos dormido una hora menos… Como se que os encanta la sección de Deco y hace tiempo que no la actualizo me pasé por el showroom que organizaron en Madrid las chicas de Kenay Home para echar un ojo a las últimas tendencias en decoración del hogar. Ellas seleccionan de cada firma lo que más les gusta y va con su estilo, y como podéis ver en las fotos se parece mucho al estilo en que yo decoro mi casa. Me encantan los colores pastel, las piezas desgastadas y envejecidas, las letras de distintos tamaños… yo soy de las que piensa que los pequeños detalles acaban marcando la gran diferencia (por eso he titulado así el post hehe).

Y para un día de recorrerme las calles del centro de Madrid mi outfit fue muy sencillo y cómodo: un jersey burdeos (ya sabéis que es mi color top para invierno), con unos shorts negros debajo y mis zapatillas en burdeos y negro a juego.

How is going your weekend? I’ve been very busy but as usual, although we have slept one hour less… 

I know that you like my Deco section and as it’s been a long time since I don’t update it I show you today the pics I’ve taken at Kenay Home showroom in Madrid. I love everything! These girls style is very similar to mine and I really like every piece they choose from different brands to decore our home. I love pastel and soft colors, vintage pieces with different kind of letters, beige color… I think that small details make the big difference (as I’ve titled the post hehe). 

For a walking day around the center of Madrid I chose a comfy and simple outfit: my burgundy wool jersey (you know this color is my top for winter time), black shorts and my burgundy and black sneakers matching the look.

Bueno bueno… después de muchas peticiones aquí tenéis mi primer post completo sobre la decoración de mi casa. Este es uno de los salones, en concreto el salón comedor. Como este fin de semana tuve que preparar una comida para cuatro aproveché el momento para enseñaros esta parte de mi hogar.

La mesa me encantó porque aparte de tener el tamaño perfecto que yo buscaba y que además era el ideal para el comedor, la mezcla entre la madera envejecida del tablero y patas desgastadas en blanco es completamente de mi estilo a la hora de decorar una casa, muy vintage. Esta mesa es de Maisons du Monde (MDM). Las sillas son de Ikea blancas básicas mientras que los cojines con lazos  que llevan en color beige con el estampado “bonheur” son de MDM. La vajilla completa es de Zara Home porque me parece muy importante tener una vajilla que nos guste en casa ya que es donde vamos a comer cada día. Los vasos son de Ikea. Los candelabros de Zara Home también y las velas de Casa al igual que el servilletero. Manteles de Zara Home y salero y pimentero de MDM. Como veis cada cosa la compro en un sitio, no me gusta que todo sea de la misma tienda aunque si que todo sea del mismo estilo: vintage con tonos blancos y beige.

¡Ah! Y el maniquí que me ha ayudado mucho a la hora de hacer fotos y de diseñar es de MDM, es mi gran amigo en casa hehe.

El camisón negro que llevo puesto es de Oysho y es lo más cómodo que me pongo cada día para estar por casa.

After a lot of comments asking me for my home decoration here you have a part of it: my living room.

I love very classic homes with vintage details and in white and beige colors. When I saw this table it was like love at first sight: the aged wood with the white table legs and with the perfect size for the lounge. All dishes are from Zara, I bought them on sales as well as the placemats and chandeliers, all in soft colors. The cutlery and glasses are from Ikea and the chairs too. The “Bonheur” cushions chairs in beige color are from Maisons du Monde like the beautiful table. The mannequin in beige with white letters is from MDM too and it’s been very useful for me to take my clothes pics and my customs designs. 

I was wearing a black nightie from Oysho, so comfy before the arrival of my guests.

¡Buenos días!

¿Cuántos regalos habéis abierto ya? Espero que hayáis sido buenos y se hayan portado bien con todos.Os dejo el look que escogí para otra de mis noches favoritas y más importantes del año: la noche de los Reyes Magos. Mi familia somos más de Reyes que de Papá Noel así que nos volvemos a vestir “de gala” para celebrarlo.

Esta vez me puse un vestido negro vaporoso de manga larga con doble capa de gasa. Lleva unas flores doradas en el cuello que aportan un estilo muy navideño y arreglado. Y como de detalles dorados iba el tema, me puse una chaqueta de lentejuelas doradas y unos tacones en dorado también. Con el clutch skull ring de leopardo inspiración McQueen conseguí el toque más roquero y desenfadado.

Estas fotos las hice por la tarde antes de maquillarme por el tema de la luz aunque ya no había mucha, por eso salgo con la cara lavada aún sin maquillar. Pero lo importante es que os quedéis con la idea de combinar algún vestido que tengáis negro con una chaqueta de lentejuelas o en tonos dorados que seguro que también tenéis.
