¡Día 2 de Coachella!

Y comienzo hablando de las adicciones. Para mí tienen su parte buena y su parte mala. La parte buena es que las disfrutamos al máximo, son los momentos en que quizá somos más felices. La parte mala es que, como toda adicción, hay que saber controlarla siempre y no al revés, porque sino tenemos un problema. Pensado detenidamente este tema he llegado a la conclusión de que todos tenemos más adicciones de las que creemos. Hay gente muy adicta al trabajo, ya sea porque lo usan como vía de escape para evadir otros problemas o porque su trabajo realmente les apasiona. Evidentemente existe la adicción a las drogas, al alcohol, al tabaco… a vicios muy nocivos para la salud y desde mi punto de vista “vicios poco inteligentes”. También se puede ser adicto a las personas. Sí, a las personas. Se puede ser adicto a un padre/madre, hijo/hija, pareja… pero eta adicción no siempre esto es algo bueno ya que hay que saber diferenciar el llevar mucho tiempo con alguien y tenerle mucho cariño, de querer a alguien de verdad y no poder vivir sin él. Son cosas diferentes.

Yo, para sincerarme, os confieso hoy que entre mis adicciones favoritas están mi madre por supuesto, que ya tengo mucho “mono” de ella por aquí hehe. Mi trabajo, que esto no es tan positivo como parece y estoy intentando controlarlo para poder disfrutar más de mi vida personal y centrarme un poco más en mí. Y cómo no, aunque ya todos los sabéis, soy adicta al chocolate y la nutella. Desayunar fruta con nutella es uno de los mayores placeres para mí y si además lo hago rodeada de gente que quiero, ya sí que es mi paraíso hehe.

Este era mi desayuno cada mañana en nuestro hotel de Palm Springs antes de comenzar con las maratones de pool parties, fotos, vídeos, festival… Por cierto me habéis preguntado mucho por hoteles en esta zona y yo ya he venido varias veces a este, Ritz Carlton, porque creo que es de los que mejor ubicado está y sobre todo por las fabulosas vistas que tiene desde la montaña. Además como podéis ver el hotel es precioso y tiene varias piscinas, zonas de chill out, varios restaurantes…

También me preguntasteis mucho por este mono de flores, otro de los estampados más vistos en Coachella, que combiné con botines burdeos y bolso a juego con el print.

Me voy a disfrutar del Domingo haciendo fotos, comiendo con amigos y luego de concierto.

Coachella day 2!

And I’d like to start talking about addictions. To me they have their good part and their bad part. The good part is that we enjoy them to the maximum, are the moments in which perhaps we are more happy. The bad part is that, like any addiction, we must know how to control it always and not the other way round, because then we will have a problem. With this theme in mind I have come to the conclusion that we all have more addictions than we believe. There are people who are very addicted to work, either because they use it as an escape route to avoid other problems or because their really love their work. Obviously there is addiction to drugs, alcohol, tobacco… addictions very harmful to health and from my point of view “smartness” addictions.  You can also be addicted to people. Yes, to people. You can be addicted to your father/mother,, son/daughter, to your couple… but this addiction is not always good because you have to know the difference between spending a lot of time with someone and off course loving him/her, and to be really in love with that person. They are different things.

To be honest, I must confess you today that my favourites addictions are my mother of course, I can’t wait to see her here again hopefully in 2 weeks. My work, this is not as positive as it seems and I am trying to control it so that I can enjoy more my personal life and focus a little bit more on myself. And of course, although you all know, I’m addicted to chocolate and nutella. Having as breakfast fruit with nutella is one of the greatest pleasures for me and if I also do it surrounded by people that I love that is my paradise haha.

This was my breakfast every morning at our hotel in Palm Springs before beginning with the marathons pool parties, photos, videos, festival concerts… By the way you have asked me a lot for hotels in this area and I have always been in this one,  Hotel Ritz Carlton, because I think it is one of the best located ones and especially for the fabulous views it has from the mountain. Also as you can see the hotel is beautiful and has 2  pools, chill out areas, many restaurants…

You also asked me a lot about this floral print playsuit, another one of the most seen prints in Coachella, which I combined with my burgundy studded booties and my pink bag matching the print.

I’m going to enjoy this amazing Sunday taking pictures, having lunch with my friends and then going to a concert.

¡Feliz Halloween!

¿Cómo ha ido vuestra noche de los muertos vivientes?

Nosotros, como la mayoría habréis podido ver en mi Stories, lo pasamos genial anoche celebrando Halloween aquí en Los Ángeles. Cortaron la calle entera Santa Mónica Boulevard, y todo el mundo iba disfrazado y bailando. ¡Fue divertidísimo!

Hoy os enseño el segundo día que pasamos en Palm Springs en el Hotel Ritz Carlton en Rancho Mirage. Continuamos con una temperatura perfecta por aquí por eso sigo llevando vestidos y ropa de verano. ¡Me encanta!

Otra de las cosas que me encanta hacer cuando viajo y puedo disfrutar de hoteles como este, es darme masajes. ¡Soy adicta! Reconozco que los necesito y me vienen genial para relajarme y soltar tensión acumulada, así que comenzamos el día los 3 con un masaje de 1h y media que me dejó perfecta.

¡Y hoy nos vamos de safari! Así que me voy corriendo a prepararme que tengo muchas ganas de grabar y hacer fotos para enseñároslas.

Happy Halloween everyone!

How has been your night of the walking dead?

We, as most of you would have seen on my Stories, had a really great time celebrating Halloween last night here in Los Angeles. They closed the whole street, Santa Monica Boulevard, and everyone was dressed up very fun and dancing in the middle of the street. It was amazing!

Today I show you the second day we spent in Palm Springs at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Rancho Mirage. As we continue with a perfect weather all around here I’m still wearing dresses and summer clothing. I love it! “#neverendingsummer hehe. 

Another thing I love to do when I travel and I enjoy hotels like this one is to have a massage. I am addicted! I recognize that I need them so much to relax and take out all the bad energies and accumulated tension, so we started the day (the 3 of us) having a massage of 1 hour and a half left me perfect. What a better way to start a day? 

And today we are going to a safari! So I’m running to get ready and take all my cameras as I’m really excited and want to show you many videos and pictures.

¡Buenos días de Lunes familia!

Nueva semana en Estados Unidos, y desde luego el que se aburre en este continente es porque quiere… Una de las cosas que más me gusta de USA es que todos los estados están pegados unos a otros con lo que es muy fácil y sencillo planear viajes los fines de semana para conocer otras ciudades y sobre todo para desconectar del trabajo.

Como sabéis el miércoles pasado nos fuimos a pasar unos días a Palm Springs, que es donde se realiza el ya multitudinario y conocido festival de Coachella, ya que se encuentra en este valle, dentro del condado de Riverside.

Nos alojamos, Maja, Carlos y yo, en el hotel Ritz Carlton, que como podéis ver tiene estas espectaculares vistas al desierto y a las montañas.

Lo que más me gusta cuando visito un nuevo lugar es hablar con la gente que vive ahí y que me cuenten historias interesantes… “culturizarme”. Así que, ¿sabíais que… Palm Springs se hizo famoso gracias a los actores de Hollywood? Si, según me han explicado, los actores que rodaban películas por el desierto o zonas cercanas, no podía alejarse según el contrato más de 150 millas de la zona de rodaje, por lo que se venían aquí para descansar y desconectar cuando tenían días libres. Por eso se conoce también como “el patio de las estrellas”.

Además era una zona habitada inicialmente por indios. De hecho ellos fueron los que crearon el primer spa resort en este área.

Espero que os haya servido esta información para conocer un poquito más esta zona. Y estoy intentando enseñaros estos días muchas marcas nuevas que estoy descubriendo por aquí con las que he empezado a colaborar, por eso de luego no ir todos vestidos iguales hehe, así que espero que os guste este look sencillo con mono corto en negro con detalles dorados.

Good morning Monday!

New week in the United States, and certainly the ones who get bored on this side of the world is because they want… Because one of the things that I like most about USA is that all states are together to each other so it is very easy and simple to organise a trip for the weekends to know other cities and especially to disconnect from work.

As you know, last Wednesday we went to spend some days in Palm Springs, which is know for hosting the crowded and already super famous Coachella festival. This is actually the name of this valley, in Riverside County.

We stayed, Maja, Carlos and me, at the Ritz Carlton hotel as you will probably already know. As you can see we enjoyed so much these spectacular views between the desert and the mountains.

What I like when I visit a new city is to talk to the people who live there and to discover interesting stories about the place… “culturizarme”. So, did you know that… Palm Springs became famous thanks to Hollywood actors and actresses? Yes, according to what they explained to me, while the actors were filming the movies in the desert or nearby areas, they could not get away under the contract conditions more than 150 miles away, so they came here to relax and disconnect when they had days off. That is why it is also known as “the playground of the stars.”

This place was also an initially inhabited by Indians. Actually they were the ones who created the first spa resort in this area.

I hope you like this information to understand a little bit more this city. And I’m trying to show you these last few weeks many new brands that I’m discovering here in California with whom I have just started working. I think is a good idea to then not go all dressed the same way hehe, so I hope you like this simple look with this cute short black playsuit with gold details.

Sin lugar a dudas una de las cosas que más me gustan de París es la infinidad de lugares para hacer fotos preciosas y lo que me gusta de la semana de la moda de esta ciudad a diferencia de Madrid es que cada desfile y presentación se realizan en localizaciones diferentes y únicas adaptadas para la ocasión.

Pues bien, la presentación de la nueva colección de Inés de la Fressange, musa de Karl Lagerfeld, se realizó en estos jardines de ensueño dentro del Hotel Ritz de la ciudad francesa, en plena Place Vendôme. Es uno de los hoteles más bonitos de la ciudad porque aparte de los salones y restaurantes que veis en las fotos, mirad los jardines interiores que tiene, preciosos. Este es uno de los hoteles en el que las modelos y celebrities se suelen alojar cuando vienen a la ciudad.

Después de una deliciosa comida con mis amigos Bea y Vicen en Le Castiglione, donde os recomiendo ir a probar las deliciosas hamburguesas y rollitos de pollo, nos dirigimos a esta presentación con mi amigo Mickael que es mi súper fotógrafo aquí en París. Como os he comentado en otras ocasiones es muy difícil para mí encontrar a gente que me haga las fotos como me gustan: naturales, sencillas, que me reconozca a mí misma en ellas, que se vea claramente la ropa y los detalles… y con él siempre me encantan los resultados.

Ya estoy de vuelta en Madrid aunque sólo hoy y mañana antes de irme a Estados Unidos por un mes… así que os podéis imaginar el día de locos que me espera.

Without any doubt one of the things that I love most about Paris is all the amazing places to take beautiful pictures and what I like about fashion week in this city compared to Madrid is that each fashion show and presentation take place in different and unique locations adapted for the occasion.

Well, the presentation of the new collection of Ines de la Fressange, muse of Karl Lagerfeld, was held in the gardens of the dreamy Hotel Ritz of the French city, in the middle of Place Vendôme. It is one of the most beautiful hotels in the city because apart from the lounges and restaurants that you can see in the pictures, take a look at the interior gardens that it has, simply precious. This is one of the hotels in which the models and celebrities are generally staying  when they come to town.

After a delicious meal with my friends Bea and Vicen at Le Castiglione, where I recommend you to go to try the delicious burgers and chicken rolls, we went to this presentation with my friend who is also my super photographer here in Paris, Mickael. As I have said in other occasions it is very difficult for me to find people that take me the pictures as I like: natural, simple, recognize myself in them, clearly see the clothes and details… and with him I always love the results.

Now I’m back to Madrid but just for today and tomorrow before traveling to USA for a month .. so you can imagine the crazy days waiting for me hehe.
