Modelos semi desnudos, patrones a medias, piezas sin cosas de camisas, cintas métricas… así comenzó el desfile de Mirto para mostrarnos las propuestas del verano que viene. Claro que poco a poco los diseños fueron cogiendo fuerza y terminaron en trajes perfectos a medida, camisas, incluso ropa interior y pijamas para dormir.

Tengo que reconocer que de este desfile hay dos cosas que me llamaron la atención. La primera es ver (y aseguraría que por primera vez) a hombres “mayores” desfilando. Me parece una idea muy buena porque en realidad esta ropa es para hombres de todas las edades y cuerpos, no sólo para los modelos que salen en las pasarelas. Además he de reconocer que estos señores que desfilaron lo hicieron bastante bien. Otra cosa que me llamó la atención de este desfile y que tampoco creo que haber visto antes es que uno de los modelos apareció en bici, si si, ¡una bici en el catwalk! Increíble pero fue un momento muy divertido ya que además era un modelo muy alegre y gracioso.

Mirto apuesta por coloridos cuadros y rayas siempre dentro de su elegante línea y estilo. Incluso se atrevió a introducir camisones para chico, algo también poco común en la ropa para ellos, pero algo que yo valoro mucho en la moda, innovar.

¿Qué opináis de estas propuestas? ¿Os gustan más o menos que las de ayer?

Semi naked bodies, half patterns, pieces of shirts, measuring tape… that’s the way it started Mirto fashion show with the proposals for the next summer. Gradually gaining strength and designs were perfectly completed, custom shirts and suits, even underwear and pajamas sleeping suits.

I have to admit that in this fashion show there were two things that caught my attention. The first one is to see (and I’m pretty sure that for the first time in my life) “old” men parading. I think that this is a very good idea because these clothes are actually for men of all ages and bodies not only for models that usually come out on the catwalk. I must also recognize that these gentlemen who paraded did it pretty well. Another thing that struck me about this show and I think once again that I haven’t seen it before is that one of the models appeared on a bike, yes yes, a bike on the catwalk! Unbelievable but it was a funny time and he was also a funny model.

Mirto bets for colorful checks and stripes forever following his elegant line and style. Even dared to introduce boys nightshirts, something too strange in clothing for them but a thing that I love in fashion, to innovate.

¡Buenos días!

¿Cómo va vuestro fin de semana? Yo he decido hacer una escapada con mis amigas porque me espera una semana dura y con operación de por medio… pero no os preocupéis que no es nada grave.

Hacía tiempo que no actualizaba la sección It Boy porque soy muy exigente con el contenido y por fin al asistir a la semana de la moda para ellos he podido realizar estas fotos de las propuestas que más me han gustado para la temporada Primavera/Verano 2015.

Estas fotos en concreto son del desfile de Altona Doc. Como veis apuestan por los colores muy vivos, la mezcla de estampados, los contrastes hippies y veraniegos de los collares hawaianos de flores combinados con un estilo más hip hop del pañuelo en la cabeza. Los trajes se llevan tanto largos como cortos y está claro que el estampado de cuadros es el protagonista mezclado con prendas deportivas. La clave está en la mezcla como ya he dicho muchas veces en mis posts.

Y desde luego menudos modelos nos hemos encontrado este año en la pasarela, yo no se si es que el año pasado no me fijé bien pero desde luego no hay ninguno feo eh? hehehe.

Morning people!

How is going your weekend? I decided to make a quick trip with my friends because I will have a very busy week and even with an operation on tuesday… but don’t worry because it’s nothing serious.

I hadn’t update the It Boy section of my blog because I’m very picky about the content and finally I attend the fashion week for him so I could take these pictures of the proposals that I really liked for Spring/Summer 2015 season.

These photos are from Altona Doc brand and they bet on bright colors, mixing prints, hippies and summer contrasts with the hawaiian flower necklaces combined with more hip hop style with the headscarf. You also can see both: long and short colorful suits and it is clear that the checkered pattern is the protagonist mixed with sportswear. The key is in the mix as I have said many times in my posts.

And of course we have found all these handsome models on the catwalk this year, I do not know if the last year I did not notice it but this year there are no one ugly eh? hehehe.

Una vez más hemos vivido la semana de la moda para ellos con los nuevos diseños para la Primavera/Verano 2015 pero esta vez no ha sido como las anteriores… No se si ha sido porque El Corte Inglés se ha metido de por medio pero desde luego estos modelos tan guapos, altos y sobre todo simpáticos no son a lo que yo por lo menos estaba acostumbrada a ver en anteriores ediciones. Os dejo fotos con algunos de ellos y este fin de semana haremos un repaso de alguno de los desfiles que más me han gustado a mi, ¡así que estad atentos!

En las fotos salgo también con mi compi y amigo Carlos Arnelas que además es blogger oficial de ECI y con mi amigo Luis Yanes que sólo puedo decir que es un crack.

Como venía directa de una grabación para mis joyas favoritas, Ararat by Yanes, no me dio tiempo de cambiarme de ropa. Por lo tanto llevo un vestido color block en blanco y negro donde la falda es lisa y el cuerpo es de tirantes con pequeños volantes. Opté por mis sandalias de cordones en estampado de serpiente y cómo no por un anillo y una combinación de pulseras muy original mezclando brazaletes anchos con pulseras de tornillo. Como siempre un maxi bolso para poder meter todos mis imprescindibles del día a día.

Espero que paséis un buen día y fin de semana y mañana acordaros de revisar la sección de chico para conocer las nuevas propuestas de los diseñadores españoles de cara al verano que viene.

Once again we have attended the men fashion week with the new designs for the Spring/Summer 2015 but this time it has not been like the last year… I don’t know if it was because El Corte Inglés has gotten in between but of course these very handsome, tall and mostly friendly models are not what I was used to see in the last previous editions. I show you some pics with some of them and this weekend we will review some of the shows that I liked most, so stay tuned! 

In the pics I’m also with my cool friend Carlos Arnelas who actually is an official blogger of ECI and my super friend Luis Yanes which I only can say that is a top. 

As I came directly from a shooting with my favorite jewelry brand, Ararat by Yanes, I didn’t have time to change my clothes. So I was wearing a color block dress in black and white where the skirt is smooth and the body is a top with small wavelets. I chose my sandals with laces in snake print and how not a ring and these very original combination of bracelets in gold, silver, and rose gold. Always a maxi bag to bring with me my essentials for the day a day.

¡Buenos días! Por fin viernes y ya han empezado los primeros desfiles de la semana de la moda de Madrid así que os dejo el primer look que escogí para los de ayer.Se celebraron en el COAM (Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid) y yo tuve la suerte de asistir a tres de ellos: Yono Taola, Aurelia Gil y Poe (fotos con los tres al final). Este fin de semana haré un par de posts sobre las propuestas que han hecho cada uno para la nueva colección Otoño/Invierno ’14-’15.

Como llevaba todo el día haciendo bastante calor (los que me seguís en las rrss vísteis que empecé haciendo deporte, os contaré también eso en breve por aquí), y fueron subiendo las temperaturas decidí optar por un outfit cómodo y no tan abrigado. Me puse una camisa en rosa palo que me compré en el mercadillo de Londres de Camden Town, encima una chaqueta negra tipo beisbolera y como parte de abajo mis pantalones grises de pitillo con lunares negros. Escogí las sandalias y no, no pasé frío porque fui de casa al coche y del coche al COAM, pero de todas formas ya os digo que a las 15 de la tarde hacía bastante calor y se estaba fenomenal así. Mi bolso bandolera burdeos que ya me habéis visto. Pero sin duda el toque que más me gustó del look fue el de añadir mi última adquisición a mi estilismo: mi pajarita de flores rosas. ¿Qué os parece esta opción? Con esto se demuestra que las pajaritas no son sólo para ellos y que además pueden quedar muy estilosas con muchos de nuestros looks tanto para ir a trabajar (se puede escoger una en colores menos llamativos) como para ir a un evento más importante como en este caso.

Morning! Finally Friday! The first shows of MFW have already started. I show you the first look I chose for yesterday’s.

The event was held at the COAM (Official College of Architects of Madrid) and I have had the good fortune to attend to three shows: Yono Taola, Aurelia Gil and Poe (pics with them at the end). Next week when I solve some internal problems with the blog I will do a couple of posts about the proposals they have made for the new collections Autumn/Winter ’14-’15. As it was quite hot I decided to chose a comfortable outfit. I wore a soft pink shirt that I bought in Camden Town in London. A black baseball jacket as a coat and my grey skinny pants with black dots. I chose sandals and no, I was not cold because I went from home to the car and from the car to the COAM. My burgundy shoulder bag that you have already seen. But without doubt the touch that I liked more was my latest acquisition: my pink flowers bow tie. What do you think about it? Bow ties are definitely not only for men and they can be quite stylish for us. We can use them to go to work but possible choosing one not as colourful as mine. I think for these type of events the flower bow tie was a good alternative to my look.
