Noviembre. El pobre parece un mes que llega sin pena ni gloria, porque va después de Octubre donde ya nos hemos acostumbrado a nuestro ritmo de trabajo después de las vacaciones y llega justo antes de Diciembre donde esperamos las ansiadas Navidades…

Pero a mi me gusta Noviembre. Es un mes más si, pero yo intento disfrutar cada momento, cada día, cada semana, cada mes de mi vida… al máximo. No solía ser así antes. Y no hablo de hace años, sino de un pasado no muy lejano. Pero hace un tiempo ya que estoy trabajando internamente ciertas facetas de mi personalidad y de mi forma de ver la vida que creo que no eran las correctas.

Bien es cierto que muchas veces necesitamos el apoyo de quien más nos conoce para dar el paso, para arriesgar y pensar que vamos a ganar; o de gente que nos rodea y está con nosotros día a día (no necesariamente nuestros amigos de siempre) para abrir los ojos en algunos aspectos, y al final os digo que se abren.

Yo ahora os aseguro soy mucho más feliz e intento sacar la parte positiva a todo lo que me pasa. Es verdad que en el momento en que nos pasa algo “menos bueno” (porque las cosas verdaderamente malas, las tragedias, no nos pasan a nosotros, no olvidemos lo afortunados que somos), es difícil cambiar de mentalidad instantáneamente, pero es cuestión de practicarlo en serio. Al final son enseñanzas, cruces como hace poco decía mi cura en la homilía, que tenemos que afrontar y llevar lo mejor posible y que nos ayudan siempre a crecer y a hacernos más fuertes. Nada es tan malo como para que dejemos de querernos y de pensar en nosotros mismos porque ya sabéis que si no lo hacemos nosotros, ¿quien lo hará?

Es bonito el amor, pero personalmente no creo que sea para siempre. Nada es para siempre. Se puede ser muy feliz con pareja, pero también sin ella. Por eso desde que decidí vivir el momento, el día a día, sin preocuparme en qué pasará o dónde estaré mañana, soy mucho más feliz, y también vivo y duermo más tranquila. No es tarea fácil como os digo, pero ya sabéis que todo con esfuerzo y constancia se consigue. La vida es cuestión de actitud; podría decir que más de un 90% es cómo afrontamos nosotros los problemas.

Para terminar y cambiando de tercio os dejo mi look de comienzo de Noviembre con un estilo muy colegial: vestido negro básico con blucher con plataforma. El toque de los calcetines es también un detalle muy otoñal. Maxi cazadora vaquera por encima para romper con el total black.

Buen Lunes a todos, a los que estéis de puente y a los que para bien o para mal trabajéis como yo. En mi caso para bien porque me encanta mi trabajo.

November. This poor month seems to be a month that comes unnoticed, because it goes after October where we have already get used to our daily working routine after the holidays and it also comes just before December where we expect the awaited Christmas time with our families and beloved people…

But I like November. It is a ‘common’ month ok, but I try to enjoy every moment, every day, every week, every month in my life… the most. I didn’t use to be like this before. And I’m not talking about many years ago, but about my recent past. But from some months ago to nowadays I’m working internally in certain facets of my personality and my way of life that I think were not the correct ones.

It is true that often we need the support of our family to make a big change, to make that step, to risk and think that we will win; or the support of those around us in our day a day, true friends (not necessary from all our lives) that help us to open your eyes in some ways, and in the end I tell you that you will open them.

I can assure you that now I am so much happier and I try to take the positive side of everything that happens to me. It is true that when something “less good” happens (and I say between quotation marks because the really bad things, tragedies, do not happen to us, not forget how lucky we are), it’s hard to change your mind instantly, but seriously, it is a matter of practice. In the end life teaches us, gives us crosses as recently said my priest in his homily, that we have to face and bring the best part of it and that always will help us to grow up and become stronger. Nothing is so bad and nothing should make us stop loving ourselves  and think about ourselves because you know that if we do not do it, who will?

Love is nice, I agree, but I personally do not think it is forever. Nothing is forever. You can be very happy with your couple, but also without it. So since I decided to live the moment, to enjoy my day a day, without worrying about what will happen or where I’ll be tomorrow, I am so much happier, and I live and sleep more peaceful. It is not easy as I say, but you know that everything with effort and perseverance is achieved. Life is a matter of attitude; I could say that almost a 90% is how we face our daily problems. 

To finish the post and after this long reflection here you have my look to start November. It’s a very collegial style: basic black dress (LBD) with platform blucher also in black. The touch of the short socks is a very autumnal detail too. An oversize denim jacket over to break the total black mood.

Good Monday to everyone, to those of you that are enjoying your long weekend and to those which for better or worse have to work like me. In my case for good because I love my job.

Buenos días amigos…

La verdad es que de entre tanta selección y diseños diferentes de chaquetas vaqueras o acabamos tendiendo varias o es difícil escoger sólo una… Está claro que es una prenda must para esta temporada y que las celebrities más internacionales ya la han vuelto a incluir en sus looks diarios, pero todo esto lo comentaremos en el post especial de Inspiration Style de este fin de semana.

Yo personalmente como tengo ya varios diseños básicos he querido optar por uno diferente, más moderno y que aporte un toque grunge a mis outfits. Por eso escogí este modelo en vaquero oscuro con parches cosidos por toda la chaqueta. ¿Qué os parece? Pensé que la mejor opción para mostrárosla por primera vez era con una camiseta blanca con letras negras siguiendo el estilo de las letras de los parches y con unos jeans negros ajustados con mil cortes. Así podéis conseguir un look muy casual y como os he dicho más grunge. Llevo mis oxfords negros de punta y cordones con plataforma, mis gafas de sol negras con montura de metal modelo so real y el toque de color lo conseguí con mi bolso bandolera rojo con tachuelas que contrasta con los detalles de la cazadora vaquera.

Morning my friends…

The truth is that between so many different designs selection of denim jackets you just ned to have more than one model because is so difficult to pick just one… It is a fact that is a must have cloth for this season and the most international celebrities and bloggers have returned to include them in their daily looks, but we will talk about that this  Saturday in the special post of Inspiration Style: denim jackets.

As I have already many basic denim jackets I wanted to buy a new different one, more modern and a with a grunge touch so I can combine it with my more rocker outfits. So I chose this model in dark blue with patches all around the jacket. Do you like it? I thought the best option to show you for the first time was wearing it with a white shirt with black letters matching the style of the letters of the patches and with my ripped skinny black jeans. This way you can get a very casual look and as I have said more grunge. I’m also wearing my black oxfords with platform, my black sunnies with metal frame ‘so real’ model’ and to add some color to the look I chose my red shoulder bag with studs that contrasts with the details of the denim jacket.

¡Buenos días!

Cómo me gusta que ya esté aquí la primavera y que podamos sacar la ropa de verano del armario. Hoy es el turno de los shorts (aunque con las piernas tan blancas que tengo he de decir que soy toda una valiente). Me apetecía estrenar ya mis nuevos shorts étnicos que he combinado con mi camiseta de flamencos formando un corazón.  Es una camiseta muy básica que creo que la voy a poder llevar con muchas de mis prendas. Ambas prendas son de la web de venta de ropa Girissima. No se si la conocíais antes, yo si, y estoy muy contenta de haber empezado a colaborar con ellos porque la ropa es de muy buena calidad y no es lo típico que te encuentras en otras tiendas. Pero sigamos con el look. Para dar un toque más casual me he puesto una cazadora vaquera encima. Mis sandalias en naranja, negro y beige fueron el calzado escogido porque no son muy altas y me sujetan bien el pie. Mis inseparables gafas de sol y un bolso en forma de saco con mezcla de piel y estampado floral fueron mis complementos. Como accesorio llamativo mi reloj digital en azul truquesa contrastando con el tono azul del print del pantalón.

¿Qué opináis de introducir ya los shorts en nuestra vestimenta diaria? ¿Demasiado pronto?

Morning people!

I really love spring and wearing summer clothes and spring colors. Today is the turn of the shorts (yes, I know that my legs aren’t ready yet for this but I just needed it hehe). 

I wanted to wear for the first time my new ethnic print shorts and I have combined them with my flamingo t-shirt with heart form. It’s a very simple and basic tee so I think I will be able to combine it with many of my clothes. Both clothes are from the fashion online store Girissima which I’ve started to collaborate with. Do you already know it? I like almost all their products because they are high quality and they aren’t products that you can find in other stores. Well, let’s continue describing the look. To give the casual touch I’ve put a denim jacket on top. My sandals in orange, black and beige were my choice because they are not very high heel and hey  hold my foot well. My beloved leather sunglasses and a bag with a mixture of leather and floral print were my accessories. My digital clock in baby blue color was the most colorful accessory matching the blue details from the ethnic print of the shorts.

Como ya sabéis el mostaza es uno de mis colores favoritos para el invierno pero no sólo para nosotras. El look de hoy me gusta porque mezcla tanto este tono para ellos como toques más denim y casual.

Los pantalones mostaza junto con la cazadora vaquera son los claros protagonistas del look. Debajo lleva una camiseta básica azul marino y una sudadera color salmón para ir más abrigado contra el frío y dar otro toque de color. La bufanda en mostaza combina con los pantalones. Como calzado unas botas marrones de ante que están muy de moda esta temporada (sobre todo por fuera de los pantalones). Los complementos también son importantes para ellos así que con un reloj y un par de pulseras (no hace falta que sean de plata también pueden ser de cuero) podéis conseguir ese outfit más cool.

I like today’s outfit because it mixes mustard color with denim clothes making the look more casual.

Mustard pants with the denim jacket are the main characters of the look. A navy blue t-shirt underwear with a salmon sweatshirt to keep warm against cold. Mustard colored scarf combined with the pants. The suede booties over the pant are really on fashion this winter. Complements are important for him too so you can choose a watch with silver or even leather bracelets.
