Miércoles que para muchos es lunes… pero para mi desde luego miércoles.

Como siempre siguiendo vuestras sugerencias y peticiones ayer me llevé la cámara todo el día a trabajar en la televisión. Al ser puente y fiesta no estaban algunos de mis compañeros que ya conocéis por mis redes sociales pero si muchos de ellos y os mandaron un saludo muy especial.

Me encanta y me hace inmensamente feliz rodearme de gente alegre, positiva, optimista, que no se toma la vida “tan en serio” y que siempre encuentran solución para todo. Volvemos a lo de ‘ver la botella medio llena’. Que nunca perdamos al niño que llevamos dentro… y qué mejor que los propios niños para recordárnoslo.

Y hacía días que no actualizábamos nuestra lista de ‘must haves’ para invierno peeero hoy vuelvo a crearos una nueva necesidad hehe. Y es que los abrigos largos y en colores beige/camel son una prenda obligatoria en nuestro armario. Además combinadas con negro debajo y botines o deportivas iremos a la última chicos. Yo hoy llevo el mío (que es del año pasado pero este año lo he visto ya en mil tiendas) con un peto vaquero negro debajo y una camiseta de rayas. Si, después del negro creo que mi segunda adicción son las rayas y las zapatillas.

Pues vamos a por la mitad de la semana y espero que ya os estéis preparando para las fiestas navideñas. Mis productos favoritos son los polvorones y el roscón de reyes… si pudiese lo comería todo el año bien mojado en chocolate… ¡mmmm!

Wednesday. For many you it’s like a Monday… but for me it is already Wednesday.

As always, I hear and read all your suggestions and requests so yesterday I took my camera to work all day on TV. As it was a long weekend here in Spain there were not all of my tv mates that you already know through my social networks but many of them wanted to say hi to you for today’s special vlogmas.

I love it and it makes me immensely happy to be surrounded by cheerful, positive and optimistic people. People that don’t take life “too seriously” and that always find a solution for everything. I return once again to my favourite slogan: ‘to see the glass half full’. Never lose the child inside us, and nothing better than a child to remember us this mood. 

It has passed some days since I don’t updated our list of ‘must haves’ for winter time but today I create you a new need-to-buy hehe. The long, beige/camel coats are a must in our wardrobe this season. Also combined with black and booties or sneakers we will rock it guys. Today I’m wearing mine (which is from the last year but this year I we’ve seen it in a thousand stores) with a black denim overalls and a striped turtle neck t-shirt. After the black I think that my second addiction are stripes and sneakers.

Then let’s start the half of the week and hope you are already getting ready for the Christmas holidays. My favorite products are the cakes and the king’s cake that we use to eat here in Spain these months… Dipped in chocolate it is really really one of my bad habits hehe… mmmm!

¡Buenos días, hoy ya desde Madrid!

Y es que llevo desde las 7 de la mañana trabajando porque el jet lag quiere hacer de las suyas hoy…

Pensaba que después de la experiencia que os conté el otro día desde el edificio más alto del mundo, el Burj Khalifa, poco más había en Dubai que me pudiese sorprender tanto… bueno, pues estaba equivocada (así somos los humanos). Gracias a la agencia de mi querido amigo Jacobo, Middle East Experience, que se dedica a organizar todo tipo de excursiones y visitas en Middle East, he podido disfrutar y tachar de mi lista de “Cosas que hacer a lo largo de mi vida” el pasar un día en el desierto.

Apenas a 45 minutos de la ciudad de Dubai se encuentra este inmenso desierto con las segundas dunas más altas de todo Emiratos Árabes. Gracias a nuestro súper guía Mohamed al que mando un saludo desde aquí, nos metimos de lleno en la historia de los nómadas que han vivido años y años viajando por el desierto aprendiendo de dónde sacar agua, en qué lado de las dunas asentarse, qué plantas eran venenosas y cuáles sanas para comer, etc. Os he colgado bastantes fotos y de verdad, ¡me ha costado mucho seleccionarlas! Quería poneros todas de cada momento pero bueno creo con estas y el vídeo es suficiente, ¿no? hehehe.

Subimos y bajamos las dunas en jeeps que son los coches más apropiados para este terreno. Luego montamos en quads bajo el calorazo de unos 30 grados al sol. Si si, por eso escogí llevar tirantes y shorts como buena turista que era. A continuación fuimos a ver la puesta de sol y al campamento base donde disfrutamos de un espectáculo divertidísimo como veis en el vídeo, cena exquisita y además montamos a camello bajo la luz de la luna. Esta sí que ha sido la experiencia más bonita que he vivido. Además me sirvió para desconectar por completo, cosa que rara vez consigo, al no haber wifi ni 3G ni nada por estar en medio del desierto, en medio de la nada. También os he dejado algunas de mis fotos favoritas del paisaje que tomé yo misma con algunos de los animales que nos encontramos y la puesta de sol. Realmente os recomiendo esta excursión si vivís allí o si tenéis la oportunidad de ir a esa zona dentro de poco.

Me voy a comenzar la semana de trabajo que tengo mil reuniones y trabajo pendiente.

Morning morning, today already from Madrid!

And because of the jet lag, that is really killing me today, I’m awake since 7a.m… 

I thought that after the experience that I told you last week from the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, Dubai hasn’t so much pretty things to show me that really could impress me like that… well, I was wrong another time (humans are like this). Through the agency of my dear friend Jacob, Middle East Experience, which is dedicated to organize all kinds of excursions and visits in Middle East, I could enjoy and cross off to my “Bucket List” (or “Things to do before dye”) to spend a day in the desert.

Just 45 minutes away from the city of Dubai is located this impressive desert with the second highest dunes of all Arab Emirates. Thanks to our super guide Mohamed who I want to thank once again for everything, we immersed ourselves in the history of nomads who have lived there years and years traveling through the desert learning where to get water, which side of the dunes is better to settle the camp, which plants were poisonous and which healthy for eating, etc. I know I’ve posted enough photos but the truth is that it took me so many time to select them! I wanted to show you all that we did but I think that with these ones and the video is enough, right? hehehe.

We went up and down the dunes in jeeps that are most appropriate car for this area. Then rode quads under a sunny day with about 30 degrees at the sun. Yeah, why I chose to wear a top and shorts as a good tourist I was. Then we went to see the sunset and the base camp where we also enjoyed a hilarious show as you can see on the video, an exquisite dinner at the camp and also we rode a camel under the moonlight. This really was the most beautiful experience I have lived until today. It also helped me to completely disconnect, which is rarely to me, because there were no wifi or 3G or anything as we were in the middle of the desert, in the middle of nowhere. I’ve also left some of my favorite landscape photos that I took myself with some of the animals we encountered and the amazing sunset. I really recommend you to do this tour if you live there or have the opportunity to go to that area one day.

Now I’m going to start this working week full of meetings and collaborations that I have pending.

Tercer y último video post donde os cuento más historias de mi divertido viaje a Lisboa… esta vez fuimos a visitar Sintra, ¡no he conocido un lugar así en mi vida!

Me habían avisado de que tanto el Castillo da Pena como los jardines de alrededor eran impresionantemente bonitos pero nunca me imaginé que me iba a sorprender tanto. Desde el primer momento en que llegamos a Sintra y comenzamos a subir en coche esta carretera que veis en las fotos y vídeo atravesando este frondoso bosque y en pleno contacto con la naturaleza me di cuenta de por qué se habían grabado aquí tantas películas… ¡parecía sacado de un cuento!

Y evidentemente me sorprendió aún más llegar hasta el famoso Castillo da Pena después de una subida cuesta arriba de 15 minutos caminando y encontrarme este castillo medieval pintado de mil colores y con tejas de diferentes dibujos, ¡¿bonito o no?! Os prometo que al menos yo no había visto un castillo así, ni si quiera el de Disney de DisneyLand París hahaha. Después de la visita por sus habitaciones y pasillos que podéis ver en el vídeo llegó la hora de seguir descubriendo la magia de esta zona: los jardines inmensos. No creo que nos diese tiempo de visitar ni si quiera una tercera parte pero desde luego como podéis ver lo que vi fue alucinante. Ríos, árboles y plantas de todo tipo porque el rey que vivía allí mandó que trajesen semillas de todos los países y continentes, puentes de piedra, cisnes blancos… ¡y negros!… en fin, de verdad que para mi fue una excursión de cuento.

Para este tipo de excursión escogí unos leggings de cuero negros, unas zapatillas de bota con estampado de leopardo, una sudadera y una trenca verde para el frío.

Third and last video post on my blog with more stories from my funny trip to Lisbon last weekend… this time talk to you about Sintra, I really have not been in such a charmed place like this before!

Although they had told me about how beautiful it was Pena’s Castle and all the surrounding gardens I just never imagined it was going to surprise me so much. From the first moment that we arrived to Sintra, a small village next to Lisboa (like 20 minutes driving)  we were exhausted. We began to climb up driving through this road that you can see in the photos and video through this lush forest and in full contact with nature, at that moment I realized why it had been the scenery for many important movies… it really seems like you are in a fairy tale!

And obviously what surprised me even more was to reach to the top of the famous Pena’s Castle after a walk of 15 minutes climbing and find this medieval castle painted in a thousand colors and tiles of different drawings! Doesn’t it amazing?! I promise you that I had not seen a castle like this before, not even the Disney Castle from DisneyLand Paris hahaha. After the tour inside it, visiting the rooms and corridors which you can see in the video it was time to continue discovering the magic of this area: the immense gardens. I do not think we had time to visit even a third part of them but certainly as you can see below everything what we saw was amazing. Rivers, trees and plants of all kinds because the king who lived there commanded to bring seeds from all countries and continents, stone bridges, white and even black swans!… Well, really to me it was a perfect day in a wonderful place. 

For this kind of day I chose a black leather leggings, my bootie slippers with leopard print, a white sweatshirt and a green trench coat for the cold moments.

Siguiendo con la tendencia de camel y negro que sabéis que es una de las que más me gusta fue como escogí el estilismo de hoy.

Me compré en rebajas estas zapatillas de bota de estampado de leopardo que me encantaron y todavía no las había sacado en el blog (aunque algunos si las habréis visto en mis redes sociales). Quise combinarlas con prendas en los mismos tonos por eso opté por un look total black (jeans rotos y jersey de cuello vuelto negro) para dar más protagonismo al chaleco oversize de lana en color camel, ¡me encanta! ¿y a vosotros? Aunque lo llevo en otras ocasiones abierto esta vez quise que quedase más ajustado a la cintura con mi cinturón negro con letras doradas. Como complementos llevo un brazalete XL dorado, un gorrito de pelo y ante para protegerme del frío y  mi nuevo bolso negro tipo bandolera que ya conocéis.

Following the black and camel trend that you know is one of my favs, I chose today’s look to fight against the cold at the city. 

I bought these leopard bootie sneakers on  sales, I loved them! I haven’t show you them on the blog yet although some of you surely have seen them on my social networks. I wanted to combine them with clothes in the same tones so I opted for a total black look (ripped jeans and black turtleneck sweater) to highlight the oversize wool vest in camel color, I love it too! Don’t you? I really like to combine this vest with many different looks. This time I wanted it waist adjusted so I put on my black leather belt with gold letters. As complements I was wearing an XL gold bracelet, a fur and suede bonnet in brown to face the cold weather and my new black shoulder bag that you already know.

La verdad es que en Madrid contamos con miles de edificios y monumentos que poder visitar y sobre todo donde poder sacar fotos tan bonitas como las del post de hoy (y no lo digo precisamente por mi look sino por el entorno). Yo tengo la suerte de vivir cerca de muchos de estos sitios de obligada visita en la capital y hoy le ha tocado el turno a la Biblioteca Nacional. ¿Habéis estado alguna vez vosotros?

Habré pasado por delante miles de veces y no fue hasta hace unas semanas cuando me quedé mirando fijamente esta escalinata y pensé que era un entorno perfecto para un shooting. Por eso me paseé por las escaleras de nuestra antigua Biblioteca (haciendo un poco el tonto como veis en algunas fotos hehe) con mi nueva chaqueta larga de cashmere, una camiseta blanca básica y unos jeans negros cortados. Como complementos me puse un cinturón de leopardo con hebillas doradas que ¿os gusta más por fuera o por dentro?; mis gafas de sol tamaño XL; un par de brazaletes negros y dorados y mi reloj de piel marrón con maxi esfera blanca y dorada. Como no puede ser de otra forma esta semana volví a escoger mis sandalias de tachuelas en negro y nude. Os aseguro que son comodisimas a la hora de caminar durante horas (en respuesta a todas las que me lo habéis preguntado en mis redes sociales).

Os espero esta tarde a los que podáis y queráis pasar a conocerme como embajadora del pop up 1001 Atmosphera en la calle General Pardiñas 50.

The truth is that here in Madrid we have thousands of buildings and monuments to visit and especially where you can take pictures as nice as mine on today’s post (and I don’t mean just by my look but by the environment). I’m so lucky to live near many of these sites to visit in the capital os Spain and today it is the turn of the National Library. Have you ever been there?

I probably have past a thousand times and it was not until a few weeks ago when I stopped and looked at the steps and I thought it was a perfect setting for a shooting. So yesterday I walked up and down the stairs of our old library (being a little silly sometimes as you can see in some pics hehe) with my new cashmere long jacket, a basic white T-shirt and my black ripped jeans. As complements I was wearing a leopard belt with golden buckles ¿how do you like it more outside or inside the tee?; my XL sunglasses; a pair of black and gold bracelets and my brown leather watch with white dial and gold details. And of course I chose once again (and for the third time in this week I know) my new studded sandals in black and nude colors. I swear you that they are very comfortable when walking during hours (in response to all of you that have asked me about it on my social networks).

And this afternoon I will wait for all of you that can or want to meet me as the new ambassador of 1001 Atmosphera pop up at 50 General Pardiñas Street.

¡Buenos días!

¿Cómo ha ido vuestro fin de semana? Yo he estado de viaje con mis amigos y he conseguido desconectar: sol, bbq y hasta concierto en directo (los que me seguís en las redes sociales habréis visto las fotos). Pero ya es lunes y voy de reunión en reunión sin parar…

Para este fin de semana de relax escogí mi peto vaquero combinado con una camisa de lino en blanco roto debajo (me gustan los detalles de encaje del cuello y los botones en dorado envejecido). Las zapatillas son siempre una buena opción para los días en el campo, y un bolso bandolera pequeño en beige para llevar lo necesario y tener las manos libres. Hacía tiempo que no me ponía mis gafas reflectantes en azul y montura transparente y opté por ellas para combinarlas con el estampado vaquero. El reloj blanco y mi botella de cristal en rosa fueron mis complementos imprescindibles para completar el outfit.

What about your weekend? I’ve gone in a quick trip with my friends and I really could disconnect: sun, bbq and even a live concert! (those of you who follow me on my social networks have seen the pics). But now as every monday I’m running from meeting to meeting non stop… 

For this relaxing weekend I chose my denim overall combined with a linen shirt in beige color (I like the lace detail in the collar and the vintage gold buttons). The sneakers are always a good choice for days in the field, and a small shoulder bag in beige too to keep the most necessary and go with my hands free. It’s been a long time since I don’t wear my blue reflectant glasses which I combined with the blue denim print. My white watch and my glass bottle in soft pink were my essential accessories to complete the outfit.

Yo ya he sacado de mi fondo de armario la mayoría de mi ropa de verano y estaba claro que no podían faltar mis colores favoritos para esta época del año como son el coral o el aguamarina. Hoy se lleva el protagonismo este último. Aunque la blazer en azul turquesa es del año pasado fue sin duda una de mis prendas estrella del verano y lo será también de este. Es cómoda por ser corta y yo la combino con prácticamente cualquier tono y estampado para dar color a mis looks. Hoy me la he puesto con una camiseta en color también turquesa suave. Como parte de abajo he optado por mis jeans de cintura alta cortados donde me he dado doble vuelta en el bajo para poder lucir mis mules. Un cinturón con print de serpiente para dar un toque más clásico y diferente al outifit, mi bolso en aguamarina y el reloj en los mismos tonos de la camiseta han sido mis accesorios escogidos.

Disfrutad del puente los que tengáis la suerte de haberlo cogido.

I have already taken from my wardrobe most of my summer clothes and many of them where in my fav season colors such as coral and aquamarine. Today it’s all about aquamarine complements.

Although this turquoise blazer is from the last year it was definitely one of my must summer clothes and this season it will also be. It’s comfortable because it’s short and I can combine it with almost everything no matter the colors or the prints. Today I’m wearing it with a soft turquoise tee. I chose my high waisted ripped jeans with a pair of laps in the hem of the pants to highlight my black mules. A snake print belt to give the classic and different touch to the outfit  my aquamarine bag and my watch in the same tones of the shirt have been my chosen accessories.

¡Buenos días!

Cómo me gusta que ya esté aquí la primavera y que podamos sacar la ropa de verano del armario. Hoy es el turno de los shorts (aunque con las piernas tan blancas que tengo he de decir que soy toda una valiente). Me apetecía estrenar ya mis nuevos shorts étnicos que he combinado con mi camiseta de flamencos formando un corazón.  Es una camiseta muy básica que creo que la voy a poder llevar con muchas de mis prendas. Ambas prendas son de la web de venta de ropa Girissima. No se si la conocíais antes, yo si, y estoy muy contenta de haber empezado a colaborar con ellos porque la ropa es de muy buena calidad y no es lo típico que te encuentras en otras tiendas. Si queréis echar un vistazo podéis hacerlo a través de ESTE LINK y espero que me contéis qué os parece.

Pero sigamos con el look. Para dar un toque más casual me he puesto una cazadora vaquera encima. Mis sandalias en naranja, negro y beige fueron el calzado escogido porque no son muy altas y me sujetan bien el pie. Mis inseparables gafas de sol y un bolso en forma de saco con mezcla de piel y estampado floral fueron mis complementos. Como accesorio llamativo mi reloj digital en azul truquesa contrastando con el tono azul del print del pantalón.

¿Qué opináis de introducir ya los shorts en nuestra vestimenta diaria? ¿Demasiado pronto?

Morning people!

I really love spring and wearing summer clothes and spring colors. Today is the turn of the shorts (yes, I know that my legs aren’t ready yet for this but I just needed it hehe). 

I wanted to wear for the first time my new ethnic print shorts and I have combined them with my flamingo t-shirt with heart form. It’s a very simple and basic tee so I think I will be able to combine it with many of my clothes. Both clothes are from the fashion online store Girissima which I’ve started to collaborate with. Do you already know it? I like almost all their products because they are high quality and they aren’t products that you can find in other stores. Well, let’s continue describing the look. To give the casual touch I’ve put a denim jacket on top. My sandals in orange, black and beige were my choice because they are not very high heel and hey  hold my foot well. My beloved leather sunglasses and a bag with a mixture of leather and floral print were my accessories. My digital clock in baby blue color was the most colorful accessory matching the blue details from the ethnic print of the shorts.

Como ya sabéis me encanta proponeros varias opciones a la hora de combinar una prenda y más si es una prenda must have como esta falda tartán que seguro que todas tenéis algo con este estampado (pantalones, leggings, faldas, o alguna camisa). Mi propuesta  de hoy para combinar mi falda tartán ha sido con una simple camisa vaquera que todas tenemos alguna en el armario. Ya sabéis que aparte de combinarlo con algo que rompa el look (que yo creo que el denim rompe el estilo más clásico de la falda convirtiéndolo en un estilismo más casual) los complementos también son importantes y siempre os digo que con ellos podemos conseguir un outfit de 10. En este caso me he puesto mi abrigo en azul navy con botones dorados que compré en Londres hace varios años. La bufanda en color mostaza me parece que contrasta con los botones dorados y con las rayas en este tono de la falda. Como estos días me tengo que recorrer las calles en búsqueda de mis últimos regalos navideños estaba claro que me iba a poner un calzado cómodo y escogí mis mocasines en azul marino también. Bolso azul marino de terciopelo con cadena dorada para ir a juego con el look completo. Y hoy si que llevo un brazalete dorado ancho como accesorio.

Bueno, como ya habréis visto la mayoría tanto en las redes sociales como en la cabecera comienzo una nueva etapa con la revista Hola y estoy muy contenta por este logro. Os agradezco a todos vuestro apoyo porque sin vosotros nada de esto sería posible, siento parecer repetitiva pero así es. ¡GRACIAS!

Y ya llegó el invierno y el frío definitivamente pero eso no implica que no podamos hacer uso de prendas que aparentemente sólo nos pondríamos en verano… Esta es mi propuesta para un día invernal gris. La verdad es que lo de llevar abrigos que sean tipo blazer me parece una tendencia que va mucho con mi estilo porque dan un toque chic a cualquier look. Esta blazer/abrigo en rayas grises es del año pasado y yo la combino tanto cuando llevo vaqueros, como para días de reuniones o mis días más informales como hoy. Debajo me puse mi jersey gris con rayas blancas que es ancho como a mi me gustan. Y vuelvo a preguntar… ¿quién dice que no se pueden llevar shorts en invierno? He encontrado estas medias en gris oscuro que me permiten ponerme pantalones cortos y no pasar frío, de hecho muchas veces es mejor incluso que ir con pantalones de telas finas. Gorrito de lana para llevar calentitas las orejas. El bolso rojo que da un toque de color al outfit. Y mis botines abiertos que al tener poco tacón y ser muy ancho me permiten pasear por la ciudad sin acabar con dolor de pies. El único accesorio que llevo es mi reloj Pepito muy a juego con los colores que llevo hoy.
