El tercer día que pasamos en Bangkok lo podríamos denominar con “el día de los templos”. ¡Visitamos más de 4! Pero cada vez me gusta más la religión budista y me encanta poder entender a otras personas y sus costumbres, y sinceramente también pienso que las religiones unen… y mucho.

Bueno, pues este día escogimos una excursión con más gente que resultaron ser de lo más divertidos. Una familia mexicana con dos hijos y luego dos amigos de Nueva York (Evans, uno de ellos, sale conmigo en una de las fotos abajo). Me encanta conocer a gente por el mundo y que me cuenten y contarles mi vida hahaha, para mi es muy en enriquecedor.

Visitamos primero las ruinas de Ayutthaya, que son impresionantes aunque hacía bastante calor y eso que sólo eran las 9 de la mañana… os recomiendo llevar agua y sombreros. De ahí nos dirigimos a dar un paseo en elefante para conocer los pueblos de alrededor del río Chao Phraya donde terminamos después dando un paseo en barco durante una hora para seguir visitando más templos.

Aunque os lo he contado en las redes sociales quiero deciros, para variar hehe, un par de cosas. La primera es que no se si serán los 30 o qué pero he decidido pasar de la gente que me hace daño, sobre todo en las redes sociales, ya que es gente que ni conozco. Así que os voy a hacer caso a todos los que me habéis escrito diciéndomelo, ¡muchas gracias! Y pienso borrar en vez de contestar o dar explicaciones a todos los comentarios que me falten al respeto o que no me gusten. Una cosa es que sea pública y otra es criticar a la gente hasta hacer daño, y sólo para mal, porque a los que me comentáis a diario ya os conozco a la mayoría…

Y en segundo lugar quiero decir que a mi me encantan los animales. Dicho esto, no se cómo se puede haber montado tanto lío por hacerme un par de fotos con un elefante… Estoy en Tailandia, para bien o para mal esto te lo encuentras por aquí pero vamos aún así yo no me la hice con mi mejor intención porque me hecho muchísima ilusión ver uno tan de cerca ya que nunca lo había hecho, y me lancé a él como lo haría a algo que me encanta… Siento mucho si alguien se ha sentido ofendido pero fue una foto completamente inocente y de todas formas me gustaría saber si todos los que habéis criticado tan duramente mi foto, nunca habéis ido a un zoo, acuario, circo… ¿a que no? Seguramente tengo razón por lo que he podido comprobar en algunas fotos de algunos de vuestros perfiles… Así que de nuevo pido que antes de juzgar miremos si nosotros mismos tenemos las manos limpias… gracias.

Y como me encanta adaptarme a la moda de cada país estos son otros de los pantalones estilo tailandés que me he comprado y los he combinado con un crop top en color tierra, ¿os gusta?

The third day we spent in Bangkok we might call it “the temples’s day”. We visited more than 4! But I like now even more the Buddhist religion and I love being able to understand other people and their culture. Also I sincerely think that religions connect people…

Well, this day we chose a tour with more people who turned out to be super fun. A Mexican family with two children and then two friends from New York (Evans, one of them, with me in one of the photos below). I love meeting people around the world and to tell they and they telling me about their life, to me is very enriching.

First of all we visited the ruins of Ayutthaya, which are impressive though it was quite hot and that it was only 9 am… I recommend you to bring water and hats. From there we headed to take an elephant ride to explore the surrounding villages of Chao Phraya River where we ended up after riding around in a boat for an hour to continue visiting more temples.

Although I have already told you on my social networks this I want to say one more time a couple of things, hehe. The first is that I’m not sure if it’s because I’m already 30 or what but I have decided to stay away from people who hurt me, especially in social networks, because it is people that do not even know me. So I’m going to ignore them all,  thank you very much to all of you that have written me saying this and helping me to take this decision! And I think instead of answering or giving explanations to all these bad and disrespectful comments I will directly delete them. I know I’m a public person but to criticize people that yo don’t even know saying always only bad things, is not good. I prefer that they leave us in peace and love as we always use to be on my medias, don’t you think so? 

And secondly I want to say that I really love animals. Said this, I don’t know how it can be such a misunderstanding for a couple of pictures with an elephant… I’m in Thailand, for good or bad this is reality, this is what you find here but I still made it with my best intention… I haven’t seen an elephant before so close so I just jumped as it would be something or someone that I love… I am so sorry if anyone was offended but it was a completely innocent photo and anyway I wonder if all those who have criticized so hardly my picture, you have never been to a zoo, aquarium, circus … Surely I have reason because I have seen it in some photos of some of your profiles… So again I ask you to think about yourself first before judging others and see if your own hands are clean… thanks.

And as I love to adapt myself to each country that I visit these are other Thai style shorts that I bought and I have combined them with a crop top in earth color, do you like them?

Segundo día en Bangkok.

Ya más descansadas y con las pilas cargadas nos embarcamos en un tour que nos organizó nuestro hotel, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, con un guía local llamado James que hizo que tuviésemos otro día de 10.

Primero visitamos el mercado flotante Ladmayon donde se puede comprar de todo y donde comimos cuando volvimos de un divertido paseo en barco por el canal con el mismo nombre. Este momento fue uno de los más impactantes para mí porque según nos explicó James las casas que se ven en el vídeo (que os colgaré esta tarde) y las personas que viven en ellas, que son muy muy pobres, viven realmente así. Es como si los años y siglos no hubiesen pasado por ellos y cosechar y recolectan sus propios alimentos, pescan y comercian con sus vecinos y sobre todo viven en paz y súper felices. Me dio envidia sana de ellos y una vez más me ha servido para hacerme pensar en los que somos más “privilegiados”?…

Después del paseo por el río conocimos una de estas casas típicas tailandesas por dentro y volvimos a comer al mercado flotante. Como veis no sólo estoy en hoteles de 5 estrellas como he leído por ahí. Cuando viajo me adapto a la colaboración o al viaje que tenga organizado pero me gusta conocer y vivir todos los aspectos de un país.

A continuación nos dirigimos a visitar el palacio real y el segundo templo más importante de Bangkok, enfrente del Gran Palacio, que se llama Wat Pho. En él se encuentra el segundo Buddha reclinado más grande de la ciudad con 46m de largo y 15 de alto, ¡impresionante! La imagen de un Buddha reclinado significa justo el momento antes de su muerte, el conocido Nirvana, ya que así es como se conoce que él se fue de esta vida terrenal. Es una postura cuanto menos original…

Antes de ir a cenar paramos en el mercado de las flores, otro mercado de obligatoria visita ya que encontraréis todo tipo de flores y también otros productos pero además veréis en primera persona cómo las mujeres y niños tailandeses fabrican con sus propias manos los colgantes de jazmín que aparte de oler fenomenal se utilizan para ahuyentar y repeler a los mosquitos.

Por último y para terminar un completo día, cenamos a pie de calle y nunca mejor dicho en China Town. La verdad es que al principio, y a mi personalmente que me da un poco de miedo toda la comida cocinada así en medio de la calle porque soy una “blanda” en este aspecto, no me atrevía a comer nada… pero al final lo hicimos y todo estaba buenísimo.

Mañana más y mejor, ¡y además es mi cumple! hehehe, 30 ya imponen respeto… ¿o no?

Second day in Bangkok.

Having sleep in a bed and with so much more energy we went on a tour organized by our hotel, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, with a local guide named James who made us having a 10 day.

First in the early morning we visited Ladmayon floating market where you can buy everything and where we ate when we returned from a fun boat ride on the canal with the same name. This moment was one of the most shocking for me because as James explained us the houses that you can see in the video (which I will share with you this afternoon) and the people living in them, they are very very poor. It is as if the years and centuries had not gone through them and they collect their own food, they practise fishing and trading with their neighbors and above all they live in complete peace and happiness. I was feeling really healthy envy of them and again they made me think about our “privileged”? lives… 

After the ride down the river we entered inside one of these typical Thai houses and came back to eat at the floating market. As you can see I’m not only in 5 star hotels as I have read somewhere. When I travel I adapt to the collaboration or the plan I have organized but I like to know and live all aspects of a country and meeting all kind of people.

Then we went to visit the Great Palace and the second most important temple in Bangkok, just in front of this Palace, called Wat Pho. It has inside the second largest reclining Buddha in the city with 46m long and 15 tall, impressive! The image of a reclining Buddha means just the moment before his death, known as Nirvana, because this is how it is known that Buddha left this life on earth. It is at least a super original position…

Before going to dinner we stopped at the flowers market, another must visit market where you can find all kinds of flowers and other products but also you will see in person how women and Thai children make with their own hands jasmine necklaces and plants that apart from smelling super nice they used them also to scare and repel mosquitoes.

Finally and to complete a full day, we had dinner at street and never better said in China Town. The truth is that at first moment, I personally was a little bit scared of eating food cooked in the middle of the street because I am a “soft” woman in this aspect, but in the end we all tried it and everything was great.

Tomorrow more and better, and it’s finally my birthday! hehehe, 30 years old OMG… but feeling like a child!

¡Hola a todos desde BANGKOK!

Después de un vuelo de 3h a Londres, de esperar 5h en el aeropuerto de Heathrow a que saliese nuestro siguiente vuelo y de volar 13h hasta Bangkok… ¡por fin llegamos a Tailandia!

Lo primero que quiero contaros es que estoy alucinando con la gente: son todos tan serviciales, amables, alegres, … te ayudan en todo lo que pueden y eso me encanta, ver a personas felices que disfrutan de la vida aún con lo poco que tienen… Esto es lo que me lleva de nuevo a pensar y valorar la tremenda suerte que tenemos muy muy pocos en este mundo, y me encanta aprender de personas así. Aprender a disfrutar de las pequeñas cosas que la vida nos da en nuestro día a día que al final son las que importan y que muchas veces no las valoramos… Ojalá aprendiésemos más de gente así, es algo admirable.

En Bangkok estamos alojadas en uno de los mejores hoteles de la ciudad: Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. Pero que nadie salte ya con eso del dinero… porque aquí la vida es muy muy barata, sobre todo para los que venimos de fuera, así que es muy fácil y barato encontrar alojamiento en cualquier hotel. Estamos en la planta 26 en una suite preciosa con unas vistas maravillosas al resto de la ciudad. Es un hotel de 5 estrellas muy bien situado y con grandes facilidades de desplazamiento a los lugares más importantes a visitar aquí.

Después de un viaje tan largo y además llegando a las 9am hora local, os podéis imaginar lo que hicimos todo el día: disfrutar de las instalaciones del hotel, de la piscina y de un típico masaje tailandés antes de irnos a dormir.

Mañana os cuento nuestra primera aventura en Bangkok que ha sido súper bonita y divertida. Estoy muy muy feliz y espero que todos vosotros también lo estéis y que nos contagiemos esta felicidad, ¡porque la vida con una sonrisa se vive mucho mejor!

Hoy nos vamos a visitar otros templos, a Ayutthaya y a montar en elefante, ¡qué ganas tengo de enseñaros más fotos y vídeos! Me encanta que os estén gustando tanto porque la verdad es que voy como una loca con 3 cámaras (Gopro, Canon y el móvil, hahaha).

Hello everyone from BANGKOK!

After a 3h flight to London, then 5h waiting at Heathrow Airport for our next flight connection and 13h of another flight… we finally arrived to, Bangkok, in Thailand!

The first thing I need to tell you is that it’s really amazing people here: they are all so helpful, friendly, cheerful… they help you in everything they can and I love that, seeing happy people who enjoy life even with the little things they have… this is what makes me think about my life, to think and value all the things in my life, how lucky we are (we are very few if we talk about the whole world), and I love to learn from people like these. Learn to enjoy the little things that life gives us in our daily lives that in the end are the ones that matter and I think that very often we do not value them… I wish more of us were like these people, it’s something admirable.

In Bangkok we are staying in one of the best hotels in town: Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. But even being a 5 stars hotel it is very cheap so I recommend it to you for sure, because life here is very very cheap, especially for those who come from outside. In general here it is very easy and cheap to find accommodation so to me is better to be in a high quality hotel like this one to can enjoy more activities and of course the sun. We are on the 26th floor in a lovely suite with wonderful views to the city. This hotel is very well located and with great travel facilities to the most important places to visit here.

After such a long journey and also arriving at 9am local time, you can imagine what we did all day: enjoy the hotel’s facilities such as the pool, the amazing Thai food  and a typical Thai massage before going to bed.

Tomorrow I will tell you everything about our first adventure in Bangkok which has been super nice and fun. I am very very happy and I hope you all are too. It is not so complicated to smile at life, to be friendly with others, don’t you think so? I live much better now!

Now we are going to visit other temples, to Ayutthaya, and going to elephant riding, can’t wait to show you more pics and videos! I like so much that you are loving all my pics and videos, because the truth is that I’m going crazy the whole day with 3 cameras! (Gopro, Canon and my phone, hahaha).
