¡Hola Chicos!

Madre mía… por fin puedo sentarme después de tantos meses, cara a cara con mi blog, mi bebé, mi todo, y volver a escribiros con calma, con tiempo, sin prisas. ¡Me hace muy muy feliz volver a escribir aquí!

La verdad es que han sido unos meses “difíciles” como muchos ya sabéis, y por eso quise desconectar un poco de todo, centrarme en mí, reencontrarme, ver qué me hace feliz, qué no, qué queréis vosotros, etc. Me pedíais más youtube, porque entiendo que para vosotros es más visual y divertido ver un vídeo. Y me parece perfecto claro, por eso subo un vídeo nuevo cada domingo, pero por otra parte algunos me decís que echabais de menos el blog, y yo sinceramente también. Este fue mi primer paso en todo este mundo, y es algo que me alegraba hacer cada noche o mañana. Me gustaba contaros cómo me sentía, compartir con vosotros mis pensamientos, mis viajes, mis problemas y mis alegrías, pediros opinión, enseñaros mi forma de ver e interpretar la moda y mi día a día en general vamos. Y por eso quiero volver a escribir. Porque me encanta leer y escribir ya lo sabéis y quiero volver a hacer las cosas que más me gustan. Intentaré hacerlo lo más a menudo que pueda.

Este post lo quería dedicar a un viaje muy especial que fue mi último viaje del año 2017 con mi familia a Islandia. Es un país en el que nunca había estado y que, aunque pasamos mucho frío, nos sorprendió y enamoró a los cuatro.

Nos alojamos en un hotel muy mono en la capital, Reikiavik, y de ahí salíamos de excursión cada día en el autobús que nos recogía. Los sitios que más os recomiendo visitar en Islandia son: visitar la ciudad de Reikiavik claro, preciosa; ir al Blue Lagoon (os recomiendo reservar con antelación porque sino no podréis visitarlo); la excursión de las auroras boreales por la noche; ir a ver y subirte en los icebergs de Jokulsarlon; visitar el parque nacional Skaftafell; ver el agua hirviendo salir del suelo de los géiseres, y mil actividades más que os pueden recomendar en los tours de allí.

Y quiero aprovechar este post (ya que ene el vídeo también os lo cuento) para contaros de nuevo que uso mi Foreo Mini Luna desde hace años. Como podéis ver me lo llevé también a este viaje, y mi hermana el suyo, y lo uso 2/3 veces a la semana para limpiar mi piel en profundidad: suciedad, pieles muertas, darme un ligero masaje en la cara, etc. Me deja la piel lisa y perfecta para ponerme mi crema hidratante.

En fin, espero que os guste que vuelva a “hablar” con vosotros por aquí y ya sabéis que me podéis dejar cualquier duda, comentario o sugerencia por aquí y os contestaré en cuanto pueda.

Hello guys!

Today I0m so so happy because I can finally sit here after all these last months, face to face with my blog, my baby, my everything, and write again in peace, calm, with time, without any hurry. It makes me very happy to write to you again here!

The truth is that I have had some “difficult” months as many of you probably know, and for that reason I wanted to disconnect for a little bit of everything, focus on myself, rediscover myself, find out what makes me happy, what does not, what do you want from me, etc. You asked me to do more Youtube, because I understand that for you guys it is more visual and fun to watch a video. And I totally understand it, that’s why I share a new video every Sunday, but on the other hand some of you tell me that you missed the blog, and I sincerely too. This was my first step in this whole world, and it’s something I was happy to do every night or morning. I liked to tell you how I felt, to share with you my thoughts, my travels, my problems and my happy moments, to ask for you opinion, to show you my way of seeing and interpreting fashion and my day to day in general. And that’s why I want to write again. Because I love reading and writing, you already know it and I want to do the things I like the most. I will try to do it as often as I can.

I wanted to dedicate this post to a very special trip that actually was my last trip of 2017. It was my family trip to Iceland. It is a country that I had never been before, and although it was really cold, we were surprised and fell in love with it the four of us.

We stayed in a very cute hotel in the capital, Reykjavik, and from there we went on an excursion every day on the bus that picked us up. The most recommended places to visit in Iceland are: visit the city of Reykjavík of course, beautiful; go to the Blue Lagoon (I recommend you to book it in advance because otherwise you won’t get tickets); the Northern Lights tour at night; go see and get on the icebergs of Jokulsarlon; visit the Skaftafell National Park; see the boiling water from inside the earth of the geysers, and a thousand other activities that they can recommend you in the tours there.

Anyways I leave you here the video with everything we did.

And I want to take this post (since I also show you this on the video too) to tell you again that I’ve been using my Foreo Mini Luna for years. As you can see, I took it always with me to any trip, same my sister. I use it 2/3 times a week to clean my skin in depth: dirt, dead skin, give me a light massage on my face, etc. It leaves my skin smooth and perfect to put on my moisturizer every night.

Anyway, I hope you guys like that I’m back “talking” with you through here and you know that you can leave any questions, comments or suggestions here and I will answer you all as soon as posible.

En mitad de la locura de la Fashion Week de París, hicimos un pequeño “descanso” el domingo, para recuperarme de las anginas y para hacer un poco de turismo por la ciudad ya que era la primera vez que mi amigo Carlos la visitaba.

El hotel al que nos cambiamos estos días, Hotel Pont Royal, no podía tener mejores vistas a la ciudad. ¡Impresionante! Por eso decidí hacerme un par de fotos desde el balcón para que vieseis estas maravillosas vistas.

Sigo enganchada a los pantalones estoy boyfriend, porque al ser más anchos que los pitillo no me hacen tan delgada y además me encanta tenerlos en todos los cortes y colores. Estos son mi última adquisición. Y no pude resistirme a estrenar mis nuevos botines burdeos con tachuelas… Son uno de los “autoregalos” que me he hecho por mi cumple (¡que es ya el día 23!). Siempre suelo comprar mis marcas favoritas francesas en París porque en Estados Unidos es impresionante cómo suben los precios… así que aproveché el viaje para esto. Me parecen preciosos y súper cómodos porque no tienen casi tacón, me los llevaré a Los Ángeles seguro.

Termino el post de hoy contandoos que me lo he pasado genial en Barcelona. Con mis amigos, comiendo y cenando, en el concierto de Taburete, tomando el sol, en la playa que es lo que más me gusta… y os repito que me encantaría que como yo intentéis vivir cada día como nos llegue, que mañana nadie sabe qué pasará. Yo ahora mismo estoy muy feliz, y nada ni nadie, y menos la sociedad, debería meternos presión de ningún tipo. Digo todo esto porque yo misma me he sentido presionada por la sociedad en muchas ocasiones y al final cada uno somos un mundo, no saben nada de nosotros y no hay una verdad universal o un camino correcto en la vida, hay miles. Para mí el camino correcto es en el que soy feliz con la gente que me rodea y en el que no se hace daño a nadie. El camino en el que me levanto cada día con una sonrisa en la boca y con ganas de comerme el mundo, y me gusta rodearme de gente que me haga despertarme así.?

Y de Barcelona a Amsterdam, ¡qué locura! Cojo el avión en unas horas así que voy a terminar las maletas.

In the middle of the madness of Paris Fashion Week, we did a little “rest” on Sunday, to recover from my anginas and to do a little tourism things around the city since it was the very first time for my friend Carlos there.

The hotel were we stayed these days, Pont Royal Hotel, could not have better views to the city. Awesome! So I decided to take a couple of photos from the balcony so that you could enjoy these wonderful views too.

I’m a big fan of boyfriend and mom kinda pants, because they do not make me so thin like the skinny models and besides I love having them in all cuts and colors. These are my last acquisition. And I could not resist to wear for the fist time my new my burgundy booties with gold studs… They are one of my “self presents” that I have done for my birthday (which is already the 23rd!). I always buy my favorite French brands in Paris because in the United States it’s amazing how prices rise up… so I took this trip as an opportunity to buy some things that I wanted. They are beautiful and super comfortable because they have no heels, I will take them to Los Angeles with me for sure.

I finish today’s post telling you that I had a really great time in Barcelona. With my friends, eating and having dinner, at Taburete’s concert, sunbathing on the beach, which is what I like the most… and I repeat that I would love you to try to live every day as it comes, tomorrow nobody knows what will happen. I am very happy right now, and nobody, not even the society, should put pressure on us. I say all this because I myself have felt pressured by society on many occasions and in the end we are each one a different world, a different person, they do not know anything about us and there is no universal truth or a correct way in life, there are thousands. For me the right way is where I am happy with the people around me and where no one is hurt. I love the way I get up every morning with a big smile on my face and wanting to eat the world every day, and I like to surround myself with people that make me wake up like that.?

And now from Barcelona to Amsterdam, never stop! I have my flight in a few hours so I’ll go to finish packing now.

¡Buenos días familia!

Viernes de nuevo y yo todavía seguiré por Londres hasta el lunes por la noche.

He venido esta semana a Londres para asistir a varios eventos y reuniones con marcas con las que llevo colaborando bastante tiempo como Asos, rewardStyle o LK Bennett, y la verdad es que han ido genial.

Además he tenido bastante suerte porque no está haciendo mucho frío e incluso tenemos momentos de cielo azul, ¡esto en Londres es todo un lujo!

Se que estáis deseando saber qué es lo que me pasó ayer en Chanel y con las tarjetas… Empiezo. Hacía unos meses que quería un bolso de Chanel de nueva colección y que había ahorrado para comprármelo ahora en Navidad y aquí en Londres ya que en Madrid no lo tenían. Con mi mayor sonrisa me planté ayer en la tienda que tiene la firma en la calle New Bond Street y ¡allí estaba! Yo feliz de la vida y mientras esperaba a que llegase mi amiga Bea me dispuse a ir pagando… y cual fue mi sorpresa cuando al intentarlo ninguna de mis tarjetas pasaban. Todas salían rechazadas. Todas. Algo que evidentemente no era posible porque además había ahorrado el dinero específicamente para este bolso… Entonces la señora que me estaba cobrando, con su perfecto acento inglés pensó que yo era una cría y que evidentemente no tenía dinero para pagar un bolso como ese, y con no muy buenas maneras me dirigió a una mesa en una sala, sola, para que intentase contactar con mi banco… me sentí bastante triste. Sobre todo porque una vez más no debemos prejuzgar a nadie nunca ya que las cosas muchas veces no son lo que parecen. Bastante decepcionada y desilusionada llamé a mi banco en España, desde Londres, durante más de 10 minutos sin obtener respuesta… Finalmente antes de irme y dar todo por perdido, y ya con mi amiga Bea, decidí probar una vez más mis tarjetas pero pidiendo por favor que me atendiese otra señora más educada y sinceramente, más humana. Obviamente mi tarjeta fue aceptada esta vez y me fui tan “contenta” a seguir mi tarde de shopping navideña que tanto tiempo había estado esperando.

Os cuento esto porque siempre me gusta compartir con vosotros todo lo que me pasa y me habéis preguntado muchos por este incidente.

La moraleja es que por favor no dejemos que nuestros prejuicios sociales por la apariencia de alguien, su edad, su color de piel, su forma de hablar o de vestir… nublen lo que en realidad se esconde detrás de todo eso que es una persona real con sentimientos reales. Porque podemos equivocarnos mucho y sobre todo perdernos a buena gente si actuamos así.

Os dejo con el look que llevé a mis reuniones el primer día en Londres. Sencillo pero elegante. Un jersey de cashmere blanco con pantalones de cuadros y mis zapatos de terciopelo con tachuelas. Me gusta cómo combinan el rojo del a suela con el rojo del bolso.

Good morning family!

Friday again and I will still be here in London until Monday night.

I came to London this week to attend some important events and meetings here with brands that I have been collaborating with for a long time like Asos, rewardStyle or LK Bennett, and the truth is that they have gone great. I’m very happy for that. 

Besides, I’ve been lucky because it’s not too cold these days here and we even have had blue skies, this is amazing in London!

I know that you are waiting to know what happened to me yesterday at Chanel store and with my credit cards… Let’s start explaining. I had wanted a new Chanel bag from the new collection since some months ago and I had saved my money to buy it now at Christmas time here in London since in Madrid they did not have it. With my biggest smile I came to the store that the brand has in New Bond Street yesterday afternoon, and there it was! I was very happy and excited and while I waited for my friend Bea to arrive, I decided to pay… and what was my surprise when trying with all my credit cards, all of them were declined. All of them. Unbelievable. Something that obviously was not possible because I had saved the money specially for this bag… Then the woman who was charging me, with her perfect English accent thought I was just a girl and obviously I did not have enough money to pay a bag like that, so with not very good manners she took me to a table in another room, alone, to try to contact my bank… I felt quite sad. Especially because once again we must not prejudge anyone ever since things are often not what they seem. Quite disappointed I called my bank in Spain, from London, for more than 10 minutes without getting any reply… Finally before I left the store and give everything for lost, and already with my friend Bea, I decided to try my cards one more time, just in case, but asking to be attended by another lady who was more polite and sincerely, more humane with me. Obviously my card was accepted this time and I was so “happy” to continue with my Christmas shopping afternoon that I had been waiting for so long.

I tell you this because I always like to share with you everything that happens to me and many of you you have asked me about this incident.

The moral is that please do not let our social prejudices by the appearance of someone, their age, their skin color, their way of speaking or dressing… cloud what really matters which is a real person with real feelings behind. Because we can make a lot of mistakes then and, above all, we can lose really good people on our way… think about it. 

I leave you now with the look I was wearing for my meetings the first day here in London. Simple but elegant. A white cashmere sweater with plaid pants and my velvet studded heels. I like how they combine the red soles with the red of the leather clutch.

Place Vendôme, París. Podría afirmar que es mi plaza favorita del mundo. De todos los países que he visitado nunca he encontrado una plaza tan ‘elegante’, amplia, llena de luz y además con edificios de una arquitectura espectacular por los cuatro costados.

Al lado de esta plaza, justo la siguiente, está la Ópera de París, otro sitio que no podéis dejar de ver cuando vengáis a esta ciudad, y también a un minuto caminando los grandes almacenes Galerias Lafayette, donde encontraréis todas las marcas en un mismo sitio.

Un día más recurrí a mi combinación de colores favorita, un total look en blanco y negro, para hacerme fotos en esta localización gracias a mi amiga Elena.

Llevo la blazer blanca con detalles en negro por la que tanto me habéis preguntado. Como veis desde que me la compré la uso tanto para el día como para la noche, eso es lo que más me gustó al verla, que es fácil combinarla en cualquier momento del día. Por la noche la suelo llevar con un body o alguna camiseta con un poco de escote mientras que para el día queda genial con una camiseta básica negra. Debajo jeans negros y mis botas de charol con cordones que también me habéis preguntado por ellas, pero son del año pasado…

Hoy día lluvioso de nuevo pero yo me lanzo de nuevo a la calle con mis amigas… ¡a ver qué historias parisinas os cuento hoy! hehe.

Place Vendôme, Paris. I could say that it is my favorite square in the world. From all the countries that I have visited I have never found such an ‘elegant’ square, wide, full of light and also with spectacular architecture buildings on the four sides.

Next to this square, actually the next one, is the Paris Opera, another must go place that you need to visit when coming to this city, and one minute walking are Galeries Lafayette, where you will find all the brands in the same building, that’s always my first stop.

Once again I went to my favorite combination of colors, a total look in black and white, to shoot in this amazing location thanks to my friend Elena.

I’m wearing a white blazer with black details, that you have asked me about. As you would have sees since I bought it I use it for both day and night, that’s what I liked about this jacket: it’s easy to combine at any time of day. At night I usually wear it with a black body while for the day is great with a basic black t-shirt. Under my black skinny jeans and my patent leather boots with laces that you also have asked me about but unfortunately they are from the last season…

Today is another rainy day in Paris but I’m going outside anyway with my friends… let’s see what Parisian stories are waiting for us today! hehe.
