#YogaEveryDamnDay

Social networks are an instant expansive phenomenon, so are used in all aspects of our lives: from fashion to food in and of course, in lifestyle.

Using the hashtag #YogaEveryDamnDay there are millions of people around the world, and many important celebrities, which share their healthy and sporty lifestyle.

So I wanted to start this week practicing yoga and showing you how and where I practice it.

I’ve got into in my cool gym, Zentro Urban Yoga, that is specialized in yoga and pilates. Today I’m showing you some of the yoga positions we practice in class and it is very good that we are little by little having in mind to follow this healthier life. It is very important nowadays to have a healthy lifestyle in all senses.

In order, and after the initial greeting clasping palms close to chest, I will name and explain to you the positions that I show you here (please note that I have only assist to a very few classes in my life and I’m not a teacher or expert, I only want to show you some of the things that we practice in class):

1. COBRA. Lying face down resting on the instep of the feet and with the body from the waist up.

2. DOG DOWN. Lying on our arms and legs (knees) we stretch our arms and got upside down.

3. COW. Legs on our knees, hands on the floor and raise our head up.

4. CAT. Is the inverse position to the ‘cow’, as if we wanted to look at our belly button.

5. WARRIOR ONE. Standing up. Back leg fully extended and foot 45 forward, the front leg straight and semi-flexed. Arms up together and looking towards the horizon.

6. WARRIOR TWO. Standing up. Back leg fully extended and foot 45 forward, the front leg straight and semi-flexed. Outstretched arms arms looking over our front arm.

7. TREE. Standing up. Feet together. We raise one feet to put the plant in the thigh of the opposite leg, above the knee. At the same time we stretch our arms up and palms together.

The other images are stretching after yoga class, this is very important for our muscles too.

I hope that we all start this Monday with much more energy now, hehe.

And now I’m about to leave to the airport of Milan to come back to Madrid, see you guys in a few hours!
