¡Hola Chicos!

Madre mía… por fin puedo sentarme después de tantos meses, cara a cara con mi blog, mi bebé, mi todo, y volver a escribiros con calma, con tiempo, sin prisas. ¡Me hace muy muy feliz volver a escribir aquí!

La verdad es que han sido unos meses “difíciles” como muchos ya sabéis, y por eso quise desconectar un poco de todo, centrarme en mí, reencontrarme, ver qué me hace feliz, qué no, qué queréis vosotros, etc. Me pedíais más youtube, porque entiendo que para vosotros es más visual y divertido ver un vídeo. Y me parece perfecto claro, por eso subo un vídeo nuevo cada domingo, pero por otra parte algunos me decís que echabais de menos el blog, y yo sinceramente también. Este fue mi primer paso en todo este mundo, y es algo que me alegraba hacer cada noche o mañana. Me gustaba contaros cómo me sentía, compartir con vosotros mis pensamientos, mis viajes, mis problemas y mis alegrías, pediros opinión, enseñaros mi forma de ver e interpretar la moda y mi día a día en general vamos. Y por eso quiero volver a escribir. Porque me encanta leer y escribir ya lo sabéis y quiero volver a hacer las cosas que más me gustan. Intentaré hacerlo lo más a menudo que pueda.

Este post lo quería dedicar a un viaje muy especial que fue mi último viaje del año 2017 con mi familia a Islandia. Es un país en el que nunca había estado y que, aunque pasamos mucho frío, nos sorprendió y enamoró a los cuatro.

Nos alojamos en un hotel muy mono en la capital, Reikiavik, y de ahí salíamos de excursión cada día en el autobús que nos recogía. Los sitios que más os recomiendo visitar en Islandia son: visitar la ciudad de Reikiavik claro, preciosa; ir al Blue Lagoon (os recomiendo reservar con antelación porque sino no podréis visitarlo); la excursión de las auroras boreales por la noche; ir a ver y subirte en los icebergs de Jokulsarlon; visitar el parque nacional Skaftafell; ver el agua hirviendo salir del suelo de los géiseres, y mil actividades más que os pueden recomendar en los tours de allí.

Y quiero aprovechar este post (ya que ene el vídeo también os lo cuento) para contaros de nuevo que uso mi Foreo Mini Luna desde hace años. Como podéis ver me lo llevé también a este viaje, y mi hermana el suyo, y lo uso 2/3 veces a la semana para limpiar mi piel en profundidad: suciedad, pieles muertas, darme un ligero masaje en la cara, etc. Me deja la piel lisa y perfecta para ponerme mi crema hidratante.

En fin, espero que os guste que vuelva a “hablar” con vosotros por aquí y ya sabéis que me podéis dejar cualquier duda, comentario o sugerencia por aquí y os contestaré en cuanto pueda.

Hello guys!

Today I0m so so happy because I can finally sit here after all these last months, face to face with my blog, my baby, my everything, and write again in peace, calm, with time, without any hurry. It makes me very happy to write to you again here!

The truth is that I have had some “difficult” months as many of you probably know, and for that reason I wanted to disconnect for a little bit of everything, focus on myself, rediscover myself, find out what makes me happy, what does not, what do you want from me, etc. You asked me to do more Youtube, because I understand that for you guys it is more visual and fun to watch a video. And I totally understand it, that’s why I share a new video every Sunday, but on the other hand some of you tell me that you missed the blog, and I sincerely too. This was my first step in this whole world, and it’s something I was happy to do every night or morning. I liked to tell you how I felt, to share with you my thoughts, my travels, my problems and my happy moments, to ask for you opinion, to show you my way of seeing and interpreting fashion and my day to day in general. And that’s why I want to write again. Because I love reading and writing, you already know it and I want to do the things I like the most. I will try to do it as often as I can.

I wanted to dedicate this post to a very special trip that actually was my last trip of 2017. It was my family trip to Iceland. It is a country that I had never been before, and although it was really cold, we were surprised and fell in love with it the four of us.

We stayed in a very cute hotel in the capital, Reykjavik, and from there we went on an excursion every day on the bus that picked us up. The most recommended places to visit in Iceland are: visit the city of Reykjavík of course, beautiful; go to the Blue Lagoon (I recommend you to book it in advance because otherwise you won’t get tickets); the Northern Lights tour at night; go see and get on the icebergs of Jokulsarlon; visit the Skaftafell National Park; see the boiling water from inside the earth of the geysers, and a thousand other activities that they can recommend you in the tours there.

Anyways I leave you here the video with everything we did.

And I want to take this post (since I also show you this on the video too) to tell you again that I’ve been using my Foreo Mini Luna for years. As you can see, I took it always with me to any trip, same my sister. I use it 2/3 times a week to clean my skin in depth: dirt, dead skin, give me a light massage on my face, etc. It leaves my skin smooth and perfect to put on my moisturizer every night.

Anyway, I hope you guys like that I’m back “talking” with you through here and you know that you can leave any questions, comments or suggestions here and I will answer you all as soon as posible.

¡Hola familia!

Vuelvo de nuevo a la carga con el blog. Ha llegado el momento de que os cuente algunas cosas que me están pasando que, aunque lo haré mejor con palabras a través de un vídeo de youtube que estoy preparando, también quiero hacerlo por aquí porque los que me queréis me lo estáis preguntado mucho y os merecéis respuestas.

Las últimas semanas, por no decir mes, han sido bastante caóticos. Es cierto que desde que comencé con el blog nunca me había tomado unas “vacaciones reales”, y con este término me refiero a tener un día (o un par) en el que no haga fotos, vídeos, comparta nada en las redes sociales, etc. y me dedique a descansar y relajarme.. hasta este verano. Me apetecía disfrutar de mis vacaciones por fin de verdad, desconectando el móvil, olvidando las redes sociales y olvidando el trabajo sólo por unos días. No lo hice del todo pero sí es cierto que conseguí relajarme y me lo he pasado genial en todo lo que he hecho. Creo que se puede ver en todas las fotos y vídeos que os he ido enseñando cuando he podido porque para mí una sonrisa vale más que mil palabras… y yo las sonrisas como las de estas fotos no las se fingir.

El tema del que os quiero volver a hablar hoy es del RESPETO. Desde que empecé el blog mi objetivo principal aparte de compartir mis looks y mi forma de ver la vida con vosotros, era crear una comunidad de gente buena donde reinase el amor y hubiese buen royo y respeto entre todos. Se que la mayoría pensaréis que en qué mundo vivo, que eso es algo imposible. Pero os puedo decir que creo que no lo hemos hecho nada mal… y casi casi no ha habido “haters” ni mala gente por aquí. Dicho esto, mi mayor ilusión al ver crecer esta familia que me quería y me apoyaba tanto, esa era mi fuerza para seguir adelante cada día compartiendo con vosotros todo lo que me hacía feliz. Mis viajes, mis nuevas colaboraciones, mis momentos de soledad, los momentos más divertidos con mis amigos y, por qué no, mi vida personal también. Porque, ¿quién no se va a alegrar del bien y de la felicidad de los demás? Pues aquí viene mi error. Para bien o para mal sigo siendo una persona sensible, aunque desgraciadamente mi trabajo me ha ido haciendo más fuerte en este aspecto. Nunca voy a entender que haya personas en la vida que disfruten criticando a los demás detrás de perfiles privados o falsos sentados en su mesa de oficina o tumbados en su sofá mientras que los que somos públicos “nos matamos” para conseguir la mejor foto o vídeo con el mejor look y con la mejor de nuestras sonrisas aunque muchas veces por dentro no estemos en ese “mood”. Sin embargo debido a este tipo de personas que espero no seguir cruzándome en mi camino he tomado la decisión de no volver a subir nada, NADA, relacionado con mi vida privada. Ni fotos, ni vídeos, ni Stories, ni nada. Se que la mayoría respetaréis mi decisión porque me queréis y también se que os dará pena porque os gustaba verme feliz en mi terreno personal, pero a veces en la vida hay que tomar decisiones pensando un poco en uno mismo y creo que esto es lo mejor para mí y para mi felicidad y paz interior, al igual que para mi familia y la gente que me quiere y que sufren igual que yo al ver determinados comentarios.

Quiero recordaros que aunque no tenga tiempo para contestaros a todos cada día en cuanto tengo un momento libre me gusta leer todo lo que me escribís por mensajes privados porque para mí esto no es sólo un trabajo que lo hago para que me paguen y poder vivir, para mi esto es mi pequeña familia de gente buena que he ido creando y hemos ido creciendo juntos con mucho cariño, amor, ilusión y respeto. Ya os conozco en persona a muchos de vosotros y creo que habéis podido comprobar lo feliz que soy haciendo esto. Me gusta ver cómo la mayoría pensáis igual que yo en las cosas más importantes de la vida. Y también me ayuda mucho, más de lo que pensáis, leer vuestros mensajes y sobre todo vuestros consejos. Muchas gracias de nuevo por estar ahí apoyándome cada día.

Para terminar deciros que ya sabéis que creo en Dios y en el karma. Pero no quiero deciros esta vez que todo lo que hagamos nos va a volver, tanto lo bueno como lo malo, tarde o temprano, porque eso ya lo sabéis y está demostrado. Quiero deciros simplemente que lo importante en esta vida es tener MORAL. La moral es la que hace que actuemos conforme nos dicta el corazón. Haz el bien y no mires a quién. Criticar a alguien que no conoces de nada y no sabes por lo que está pasando, ya sea haciéndolo a través de las redes sociales o poniendo buena cara enfrente y luego a las espaldas soltando todo tipo de mentiras basadas solamente en la envidia, eso es lo que al final consume a las personas. Esa gente nunca será feliz del todo hasta que no aprendan a respetar a los demás. Me he encontrado a varias personas de este tipo últimamente por eso os cuento esta reflexión. Pero Dios y el tiempo son los que al final nos pondrán a cada uno en nuestro sitio, de eso no tengo ninguna duda.

Hello family!

I come back again with the blog. I think it is time to finally tell you what is going on in my life the last few weeks or months… Even when I’m going to do it with words through a video on my Youtube channel, but I also want to do it here because those of you who love me are asking me a lot and I think that you deserve to have answers.

Last weeks, or maybe the last month, have been quite chaotic. It is true that since I started with the blog I had never taken a “real holidays”, and with this term I mean having a day (or a couple) where you do not have to take any photos, videos, share anything on your social networks, etc. And dedicate myself to relax and enjoy… until this summer. I wanted to enjoy my holidays for real, disconnecting the mobile phone, forgetting the social networks and forgetting the work only for a few days. I did not do it at all but it is true that I got to relax and I had a great time in everything I’ve done. I think you can see it in all the photos and videos that I have been showing you whenever I could because for me a smile is better than a thousand words… and I can’t fake my smiles like these ones never.

The thing about I want to speak to you today is RESPECT. Since I started my blog my main goal apart from sharing my looks and my way of seeing life with you, was to create a community of good people based in love and good vibes and always with respect above all. I know most of you will think now that in what world I think I live, that is impossible. But I must say that we have not done it bad at all… and there have been no haters or bad people around here. That said, my greatest illusion has always been seeing this family growing, supporting me and loving me so much, you are my strength to keep on working and doing my best every day and sharing with you what makes me the happiest. My travels, my new collaborations, my moments alone, the most fun moments with my friends and, why not, my personal life too. Because who is not going to be happy when seeing another person happy? Ok, here comes my big mistake. For better or for worse I am still a sensitive person, although unfortunately my work has made me stronger in this aspect. I will never understand that there are people in life who enjoy criticizing others behind private or fake profiles sitting at their office table or lying on their couch while those who are public figures literally “kill ourselves” to get the best photo or video with the best look and the best of our smiles although many times inside we are not in that “mood”, just to share it with you. However due to this kind of people that I hope not to be close to many of them in my life, I have taken the decision of not sharing anything, ANYTHING, related with my private life. No photos, no videos, no Stories, or anything at all. I know that most of you will respect my decision because you love me and I also know that you will feel sad because you liked seeing me happy in my personal life, but sometimes in your life you have to take hard decisions thinking a little bit more in yourself and I think this is the best for me and for my happiness and inner peace, as well as for my family and people who love me and who suffer just as I do when they see certain comments.

I want to remind you that although I do not have time to reply to you all every day, as soon as I have a free moment I like to read everything you write me for direct messages because for me this is not just a job that I do to get paid and able to live, For me this is my small family of good people that I have been creating and we have been growing up together with much love, illusion and respect. I already know you many of you in person and I believe that you have been able to see how happy I am doing this. I like seeing how most of you think just like me in the most important things in this life. And it also helps me a lot, more than you think, to read your messages and especially your advices. Thank you again for being there supporting me every day.

To finish for today I want to tell you that you already know that I believe in God and in karma. But I do not want to tell you this time that everything we do will return to us in the same way, good and bad things, sooner or later, because you already know that. I simply want to tell you that the important thing in this life is to have MORAL. Morality is what makes us act according to what our heart says. Do good and do not look at whom. Criticizing someone that you do not know at all and you do not know what is going on in his life, either by doing it through social networks or putting a good face in front on them and then behind the back releasing all kinds of lies based only on envy, that’s what in the end consumes people. These people will never be happy at all until they learn to respect others. I have met some people of this kind lately so for this reason I’m telling you this reflection. But God and time are the ones that will eventually put each one of us in our place, I don’t have any doubt about it.

Geneva, day 1

¡Buenos días a todos!

Primer post sobre mi viaje y experiencia en Ginebra.

La verdad es que conocía algunas ciudades de Suiza pero esta en concreto no, y me ha encantado. Es una ciudad de unos 500.000 habitantes donde se puede ir a casi todas partes caminando o en transporte público como el tranvía.

Me ha enamorado además por el olor a queso en casi todas sus calles ya que sabéis que soy adicta hehe. Además son los maestros chocolateros y en el vídeo que os dejo podéis ver todo lo que hicimos incluida la visita a una de las fábricas de chocolate más conocidas: Chocolaterie du Rhône.

Una de las cosas que me llevo de esta experiencia es a la gente. El equipo que fuimos fue de lo más divertido y como vais a ver en el vídeo no dejamos de reírnos, de bailar, de hacer vídeos y fotos de todo… la verdad es que es muy importante en este tipo de acciones que haya buena armonía y me ha encantado conocerles a todos.

Sin duda el momento de relax del día fue el que pasamos en Bain Bleu, los mejores baños termales y spa de la ciudad.

Y arrancamos nueva semana en Madrid aunque la terminaré en Estados Unidos… Hoy tenemos shooting para una revista. Mañana me operan de la vista por fin. El miércoles tenemos un par de reuniones importantes y ya el jueves vuelvo a cruzar el charco… ¡que el ritmo no pare familia!

Good morning people!

First post about my last trip and experience in Geneva.

The truth is that I already had been in some cities of Switzerland but this one in particular I hadn’t been before, and I do loved it. It is a city of about 500,000 inhabitants where you can go almost everywhere walking or in public transport like the tram.

I have also fallen in love with the smell of cheese in almost all its streets since you know that I am a big fan of cheese hehe. In addition to this they are the world’s most famous masters chocolatiers and on this video you can see everything that we did including the visit to one of the most well known chocolate factories: Chocolaterie du Rhône.

One of the things that I bring with me from this amazing experience is the people. The team we went was super fun and as you can see in the video we do not stop laughing, dancing, making videos and photos of everything… the truth is that this is very important in this kind of work because it is very necessary to have good harmony between all of us. I was delighted to meet you all guys!

Without any doubt the best “me-time” was the time at the coolest spa and thermal waters place: Bain Bleu.

And we start a new week in Madrid, although I will end it in the United States… Today we have shooting for a magazine. Tomorrow is finally my eyes operation. On Wednesday we have a couple of important meetings and on Thursday I will travel to America again… don’t stop the party! hahaha.

Mykonos, day 6

Arrancamos nueva semana y de nuevo vuelvo a irme de viaje mañana. Esta vez me voy a Barcelona hasta el viernes por la noche para asistir y enseñaros algunos de los desfiles de la pasarela 080 y para tener algunas reuniones de trabajo allí. Os iré contando pronto más noticias.

Me considero una persona muy alegre y positiva. Muchas veces me dejo llevar por situaciones o personas negativas que la verdad es que me agotan… De hecho los estudios ya demuestran y afirman que sí, que rodearse de gente negativa, envidiosa, mentirosa, etc. te acaba quitando tu propia buena energía. Pero siempre intento volver a recuperar cuanto antes mi mentalidad positiva y seguir adelante. Muchas veces me pasa, no se si también a vosotros, que me enfrasco en algo y le doy vueltas y vueltas… aunque sepa que no tiene solución. El caso es que pienso que en la vida no se deberían tener ideas fijas, las cosas pueden ir cambiando según van cambiando también los acontecimientos. Por eso, yo personalmente, me empeño en hacer que algunas personas vean las cosas desde otro punto de vista porque pienso que les iría mejor, pero al final hacer esto es un error. Podemos dar nuestra opinión sí, pero al final es uno mismo el que decide si cambiar o no. Si el cambio será a mejor o no. Si hay algo o alguien que se lo merece o no.

Yo voy a seguir tan alegre y feliz como solía ser de pequeña y este viaje me ha ayudado mucho a volver a recuperar esto. Y es muy importante afrontar la vida y el día a día desde un punto de vista positivo porque os puedo asegurar de que aparte de que se hace todo más llevadero, también es bueno para nuestra propia salud y nuestra propia conciencia.

En las fotos del final salgo con Ally, otra de las mágicas personas que ahora forma parte de mi vida.

Os dejo con este look con mono blanco con flores bordadas y con lazada atada en la espalda. Lo combiné con mis sandalias marrones de tacón ancho para salir a cenar la última noche que pasé en Mykonos.

Let’s start a new week and again I will leave Madrid tomorrow. This time I’m going to Barcelona until Friday evening to attend and show you some of the fashion shows of the 080 fashion week and I have also some meetings there. I’ll tell you more news soon.

I consider myself a very cheerful and positive person. I often use to feel bad then negative situations or people that I trust break me down but actually the latest studies already say that yes, if we surround ourselves with negative persons, envious, liars, etc. they just will remove your own good energy. But I always try to regain my positive mindset as soon as possible and move on. Many times it happens to me that I think about the same thing or situation again and again… although I know that it has no solution. Anyway, I think that life should not have fixed ideas, things may change as life is also changing. So I personally always try to make some people see things from another point of view because I think they would be so much happier, but eventually I think this is a mistake. We can give our opinion yes, but in the end is the person who decides to change er or not to change. If the change is for the better or not. If there is something or someone who deserves it or not.

I will continue as cheerful and happy as I use to be since I was born and this trip to Greece has really helped me to regain this energy. It is very important to face life and everyday life from a positive view because I can assure you that apart from that everything becomes more bearable, it is also good for our own health and our own conscience.

Back necklines

¡Hola a todos!

Perdonad pero se ha vuelto a colgar este fin de semana el blog… Como ya sabéis esto es bueno y malo. Yo lo paso muy mal cada vez que se cuelga porque me escribís vosotros y mis amigos y familia para avisarme y me pongo muy nerviosa, pero por otra parte es bueno porque nuestra familia sigue creciendo (#martacarriedofamily), ¡qué bien!

La semana pasada en concreto hubo más visitas de lo normal superando el millón de visitas en un mismo día, y ese tráfico tan alto aunque pago para que no se cuelgue, pero es normal que de vez en cuando falle…

Pero bueno, ya está aquí el post de hoy con el primero de los looks que os enseño en el vídeo de hoy y que es con este vestidazo de fiesta que ya visteis algunos en Snapchat. Lo reconozco, me he vuelto adicta a los escotes de espalda porque me encantan. Me parecen muy sexis a la par que elegantes y este en concreto con cuerdas en zig zag me gustó también por el diseño y el color nude.

El hotel como veis es una maravilla. Es todo de estilo asiático, de ahí su nombre Asia Gardens. Mi amiga Isa y yo hemos conseguido lo que queríamos: volver morenitas, descansadas y con las pilas recargadas para una semana a tope de trabajo ya que me vuelvo a ir de viaje el Sábado… Os mantendré informados de todo como siempre en directo a través de mi Snapchat: itgirlmarta. Hello everyone!

Forgive me once again for the last problems with the blog… As you know this is something good and bad at the same time. I always have a very bad moment every time you or my friends and family write me to let me know that it doesn’t work, and I get very nervous, but on the other hand is something good because our family continues growing up (#martacarriedofamily), sooo good!

Last week in particular I had more visitors than normal, over a million visits in one day, and that is a good thing that I pay for of course, but it is normal to occasionally fail with such a big traffic…

But hey, finally is here today’s post with the first look and video where I’m wearing my new cocktail dress in the amazing hotel where I spent the whole weekend. Some of you have already seen it on Snapchat. I do admit it, I have become addicted to back necklines because I love them. They are very sexy and elegant at the same time and this one in particular with zigzag laces I also liked for the design and the nude color.

The hotel is wonderful as you can see. Everything is Asian style, because of that its name “Asia Gardens”. My friend Isa and me have got what we were looking for: time to relax, sunbathe and eat healthy. We have recharged batteries for a new non stop working week because I will be traveling again on Saturday morning… I will keep you informed of everything as always live through my Snapchat account: itgirlmarta. San Carlos river

¡Pura vida!

Que es la forma que tienen aquí de decir prácticamente todo: hola, adios, gracias, de nada… Y a mi personalmente me encanta porque es una frase representativa de Costa Rica y da muy buen rollo cuando la escuchas, ¿o no?

Ya no se ni por qué día voy en este precioso país pero hoy os cuento otra de las maravillosas experiencias que estamos viviendo. Paseo en bote por el río San Carlos hasta llegar a la frontera entre Costa Rica y Nicaragua donde este río se une al río San Juan. Justo en la frontera paramos en un pequeño pueblo llamado Boca San Carlos donde una vez más me encantó la experiencia de poder charlar y conocer a gente espectacular como Isidro, dueño de uno de los pequeños bares, que aparece conmigo en estas fotos.

Así de felices estábamos Mónica y yo (en las fotos de abajo) justo antes de que una plaga de mosquitos saliese a pasear cuando llegó el atardecer. Ya visteis en mi Snapchat el momento: millones de mosquitos se esconden por el día en la selva pero salen por la noche y justo fue nuestro momento de volver al hotel, así que nos comimos a todos y terminamos con miles de ellos por todo el cuerpo… ahora es un divertido recuerdo pero en su momento no lo fue tanto.

De nuevo bastante calor por lo que nos aconsejaron ir en pantalón corto y cómodos, así que yo escogí unas alpargatas que luego me cambié por unas chanclas dentro del barco, unos shorts blancos con rotos y un body negro para no llevar sujetador e ir más a gusto. El sombrero es fundamental para protegernos del sol y me até un pañuelo en la mano por si en algún momento el pelo me molestaba demasiado, sujetármelo con el mismo.

Hoy estamos en otro resort llamado Río Celeste donde aprovecharé también para hacer algunas fotos y enseñároslas en cuanto pueda.

Pure Life!

That’s the way they use here to say almost everything: hello, goodbye, thank you, you’re welcome… And I personally love it because it is a representative quote of Costa Rica and it has a very good feeling when you hear it, don’t you think so?

Today I tell you another wonderful experience that we are living in this amazing country. Boat riding on San Carlos’s river until the border point between Costa Rica and Nicaragua where this river joins San Juan’s river. Right on the border line we stopped to visit a small village called Boca San Carlos where once again I enjoyed the experience of being able to talk and meet for a while great people like Isidro, owner of one of these small bars, with me in these photos.

So happy were Monica and I (on the pics too) just before a plague of mosquitoes come out for a walk in the sunset. Guess you saw it all in my Snapchat: millions of mosquitoes hide during the day in the jungle but come out at night and that was our time to go back to the hotel, so we ate many of them all and we ended up with thousands of them all over our bodies… it is now a fun memory but at that moment it wasn’t so funny.

One more day we were advised to go as comfortable as possible so I chose my espadrilles that then I changed it to flip-flops inside the boat, white ripped shorts and a black body without bra to go even more comfy. The hat is essential to protect from the sun here and I tied a handkerchief on my hand just in case my hair bothers me, to make a quick tie with it.

We are now in another resort called Rio Celeste where I will also take the opportunity to take some photos today to show you as soon as possible.

Coffee Plantation

Día dos en Costa Rica.

Primero nos sirvieron este delicioso desayuno en nuestro hotel, momento que como veis aprovecho cada día para publicar los posts en mi blog.

A continuación nos dirigimos a visitar dos plantaciones de café y a comer en el mercado del Naranjo. Las dos plantaciones que visitamos son de las más conocidas del país: Espíritu Santo y San Juanillo. Y desde luego como podéis ver en las fotos es impresionante las vistas a una plantación de café tan grande. Además nos enseñaron todo el proceso desde que se planta la planta de café hasta que se recolecta, se separa el grano y se tuesta llegando a conseguir un café único en el mundo. El primer país importador de café de Costa Rica es Estados Unidos. Y también planté mi primera planta de café como pudisteis ver, fue un momento muy especial.

El mercado del llano del Naranjo es típico también de aquí y pude comprarme varios productos y frutas típicas como el chayote que es un vegetal buenísimo que se usa aquí para cocinar, plátano frito, etc. Este mercado es de los más típicos y respondiendo a vuestra pregunta de la moneda se puede pagar en dólares en cualquier parte, sólo que te devuelven el cambio en su moneda nacional que son los colonos.

Hoy nos cambiamos de zona y de hotel así que me voy corriendo a terminar la maleta, ducharme y desayunar.

Day Two in Costa Rica.

To start the day we enjoyed this delicious breakfast at our hotel. As you can see I take this time every day to publish the posts on my blog.

Then we went to visit two coffee plantations and to have lunch at Naranjo’s market. The two plantations we visited are the best known of the country: the Espiritu Santo and San Juanillo. And of course as you can see in the pictures it is very impressive the views to a huge coffee plantation, it was an incredible experience to me. In addition to this they shown us the whole process since the coffee plant is planted until it is harvested, the grain is separated and roasted coming to get a perfect and unique coffee in the world. The first coffee importer country from Costa Rica is United States. And I also planted my first coffee plant, so excited about that special moment!

Naranjo’s market is also very typical from the country and you can buy different products and typical fruits like chayote which is a vegetable used here for cooking, fried banana, etc. This market is the most typical in this area and responding to your question about the money you can pay in dollars anywhere, but they will only give you the change in the national currency which are the “colonos”.

Today we are moving again so I’m going to finish the suitcase, take a shower and have breakfast.

30s in Koh Samui!

23.03.2016. El gran día por fin llegó… como acaba llegando todo en esta vida. Nos tiramos 364 días esperando a que llegue el día de nuestro cumpleaños pero luego sólo disponemos de 24h (y no todas hábiles) para celebrarlo… Pero qué bonito ese número 23 ¿a que si? hahaha.

Pero yo este año he tenido la suerte de celebrar un cumple de 30 horas debido al cambio horario entre Europa y Asia, ¡yuhu!

Antes que nada quiero daros las GRACIAS A todos por tantos mensajes, mails, comentarios y de todo con palabras y deseos tan bonitos… ¡sois una parte muy muy importante de mi felicidad os lo vuelvo a repetir!

El día de mi cumple comenzó con un temprano vuelo de Bangkok a Koh Samui que es donde aún me encuentro actualmente. Es una isla preciosa en la costa asiática y me he enamorado tanto de la isla como de nuestro hotel Vana Belle Resort Koh Samui que ya habéis ido viendo en algunas fotos y vídeos de mis redes sociales. Realmente he conseguido el propósito con el que vine de poder desconectar y relajarme unos días para celebrar mi 30 cumpleaños. Además al contrario de lo que pensaba, vuelvo a darme cuenta de que todo en la vida es cuestión de actitud y de cómo afrontamos nosotros los problemas. Así que me siento más guapa, joven y trabajadora que nunca y pienso ir ¡a por todas!

Tenía tantas ganas de enseñaros estos pantalones de encaje semitransparentes que me enamoraron en cuanto los vi que no he podido esperar al último día para estar morena… aunque en las fotos ya tengo algo de color hehe. Los he combinado con un body negro ya que son muy transparentes, es cierto, pero también pienso que para verano y una noche que tengamos un evento más formal son perfectos y muy elegantes. Una vez más recurro al binomio blanco y negro, mi favorito.

Para terminar un día redondo cené con mi amiga Isa en esta fabulosa mesa en mitad de la playa a la luz de la luna llena. ¡Cena romántica donde las haya! hahaha.

Pues ahora toca disfrutar de los 30 y a seguir con mi lista de propósitos hasta los 31.

23/03/2016. The big day finally arrived… just like everything in life. We wait 364 days waiting for the day of our birthday and when it finally comes then we only have 24 hours (but not working and real hours) to celebrate and enjoy it… But how nice is that number, 23? hahaha.

But I’ve been super lucky this year to can celebrate my special 30th birthday for 30 hours due to the time change between Europe and Asia, yayyy!

First of all I want to thank you all for so many lovely and beautiful messages, mails, feedback and words and desire… you are a very important part of my happiness and I want to say it to you one more time!

The day of my birthday began with an early flight from Bangkok to Koh Samui which is where I am currently. It is a beautiful island in the Asian coast and I love both the island and our hotel Vana Belle Resort Koh Samui that I’m pretty sure you have already seen on some photos and videos of my social networks. I’ve really achieve the purpose for which I came here to be able to disconnect and relax a few days to celebrate my 30th birthday. In addition to this and actually I didn’t expected it, I do to realise one more time that everything in life is about attitude and how we face our problems. So I feel prettier, younger and hard working than ever and I will go for it, all in or nothing!

I couldn’t wait anymore to show you these semitransparent lace white pants that I felt in love with as soon as I saw them. I could not wait until the last day to be tanned so here they are haha, although in the photos I already have some tan. I have combined them with a black body and I know that they are very transparent, it is true, but I also think that for some special summer night or to go to a more formal event they are perfect and very elegant, you will be stunning. Once again I chose my favourite color block: black and white.

And to finish a perfect day I had dinner with my friend Isabel at this amazing table at the beach just in front of the full moon… what a better date? hehe.

Now it is time to enjoy my 30s and continue accomplishing my goals until next year.

Bangkok, day 2

Segundo día en Bangkok.

Ya más descansadas y con las pilas cargadas nos embarcamos en un tour que nos organizó nuestro hotel, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, con un guía local llamado James que hizo que tuviésemos otro día de 10.

Primero visitamos el mercado flotante Ladmayon donde se puede comprar de todo y donde comimos cuando volvimos de un divertido paseo en barco por el canal con el mismo nombre. Este momento fue uno de los más impactantes para mí porque según nos explicó James las casas que se ven en el vídeo (que os colgaré esta tarde) y las personas que viven en ellas, que son muy muy pobres, viven realmente así. Es como si los años y siglos no hubiesen pasado por ellos y cosechar y recolectan sus propios alimentos, pescan y comercian con sus vecinos y sobre todo viven en paz y súper felices. Me dio envidia sana de ellos y una vez más me ha servido para hacerme pensar en los que somos más “privilegiados”?…

Después del paseo por el río conocimos una de estas casas típicas tailandesas por dentro y volvimos a comer al mercado flotante. Como veis no sólo estoy en hoteles de 5 estrellas como he leído por ahí. Cuando viajo me adapto a la colaboración o al viaje que tenga organizado pero me gusta conocer y vivir todos los aspectos de un país.

A continuación nos dirigimos a visitar el palacio real y el segundo templo más importante de Bangkok, enfrente del Gran Palacio, que se llama Wat Pho. En él se encuentra el segundo Buddha reclinado más grande de la ciudad con 46m de largo y 15 de alto, ¡impresionante! La imagen de un Buddha reclinado significa justo el momento antes de su muerte, el conocido Nirvana, ya que así es como se conoce que él se fue de esta vida terrenal. Es una postura cuanto menos original…

Antes de ir a cenar paramos en el mercado de las flores, otro mercado de obligatoria visita ya que encontraréis todo tipo de flores y también otros productos pero además veréis en primera persona cómo las mujeres y niños tailandeses fabrican con sus propias manos los colgantes de jazmín que aparte de oler fenomenal se utilizan para ahuyentar y repeler a los mosquitos.

Por último y para terminar un completo día, cenamos a pie de calle y nunca mejor dicho en China Town. La verdad es que al principio, y a mi personalmente que me da un poco de miedo toda la comida cocinada así en medio de la calle porque soy una “blanda” en este aspecto, no me atrevía a comer nada… pero al final lo hicimos y todo estaba buenísimo.

Mañana más y mejor, ¡y además es mi cumple! hehehe, 30 ya imponen respeto… ¿o no?

Second day in Bangkok.

Having sleep in a bed and with so much more energy we went on a tour organized by our hotel, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, with a local guide named James who made us having a 10 day.

First in the early morning we visited Ladmayon floating market where you can buy everything and where we ate when we returned from a fun boat ride on the canal with the same name. This moment was one of the most shocking for me because as James explained us the houses that you can see in the video (which I will share with you this afternoon) and the people living in them, they are very very poor. It is as if the years and centuries had not gone through them and they collect their own food, they practise fishing and trading with their neighbors and above all they live in complete peace and happiness. I was feeling really healthy envy of them and again they made me think about our “privileged”? lives…

After the ride down the river we entered inside one of these typical Thai houses and came back to eat at the floating market. As you can see I’m not only in 5 star hotels as I have read somewhere. When I travel I adapt to the collaboration or the plan I have organized but I like to know and live all aspects of a country and meeting all kind of people.

Then we went to visit the Great Palace and the second most important temple in Bangkok, just in front of this Palace, called Wat Pho. It has inside the second largest reclining Buddha in the city with 46m long and 15 tall, impressive! The image of a reclining Buddha means just the moment before his death, known as Nirvana, because this is how it is known that Buddha left this life on earth. It is at least a super original position…

Before going to dinner we stopped at the flowers market, another must visit market where you can find all kinds of flowers and other products but also you will see in person how women and Thai children make with their own hands jasmine necklaces and plants that apart from smelling super nice they used them also to scare and repel mosquitoes.

Finally and to complete a full day, we had dinner at street and never better said in China Town. The truth is that at first moment, I personally was a little bit scared of eating food cooked in the middle of the street because I am a “soft” woman in this aspect, but in the end we all tried it and everything was great.

Tomorrow more and better, and it’s finally my birthday! hehehe, 30 years old OMG… but feeling like a child!

Trocadero, París

¡Buenos días, Lunes!

Último post de mi viaje a París, y cómo no, tenía que ser desde la Torre Eiffel… como os dije hace poco cuando más viajo a esta ciudad y más visito esta torre, más impresionante me parece. Estas vistas desde mi punto de vista son las mejores al monumento, desde Trocadero (la parada de metro se llama igual).

¡Por cierto! Quiero antes que nada agradeceros todos vuestros comentarios en la foto de Tatel, ¡ojalá pudieseis venir todos! No se a quién escogerán porque lo eligen ellos pero gracias una vez más por tantos mensajes bonitos, ¡me he leído todos y sois los mejores! De todas formas habrá otro evento más multitudinario el 7 de Abril, por la tarde, al que podréis venir todos los que queráis… hehe, ¡qué ganas!

Comienza mi semana de locos, a contrareloj, porque ya sabéis que el viernes me voy de viaje muuuy lejos a celebrar mi 30 cumpleaños, ¡qué emoción! Y respecto a este tema deciros que la verdad es que me encanta cómo soy. Se que hoy en día (y nunca entenderé por qué) no está bien visto decir que nos vemos guapos, que hacemos algo bien, o que nos encanta cómo somos o actuamos, porque rápidamente se despiertan las envidias y comentarios negativos y ofensivos… pero no se, yo creo que estoy en este mundo para algo más que trabajar, para intentar cambiarlo a mejor, y siempre se empieza con el primer paso. Así que digo todo esto porque algún comentario leí de que sentara la cabeza ya con 30 años… personalmente creo que la tengo bastante sentada y tengo los pies en la tierra, pero si sacar la lengua en una foto, o salir sonriendo y alegre en los vídeos de Snapchat es signo de inmadurez, entonces ¡que vivan los inmaduros! Por favor, sed vosotros mismos siempre sin importar el qué dirán y siendo buena gente claro. Os lo dice una a la que le cuesta aún pasar de este tipo de comentarios pero no pienso dejar que gente negativa me amargue mi vida y todo lo que tengo que hacer con ella.

Y os dejo ya con este look muy casual con jeans y deportivas pero con un toque lady que le aporta la camisa y el top semi transparente burdeos debajo.

Good morning, Monday!

Latest post about my last trip to Paris, and of course from the Eiffel Tower… as I said recently the more I travel to this city and visit the tower, the more impressive it seems to me. These views from my point of view are the best ones of the monument from Trocadero (metro stop is called the same).

By the way! First of all I want to thank you all for all your comments on the photo of Tatel, I really would like to see you there all of you! They will choose 3 persons with a mate, but thanks again for so many nice messages, I have read them all and you guys are the best! Anyway there will be another massive event on April 7th, in the afternoon, where you will be able to come all of you… hehe, can’t wait!

Now I have started my crazy week, a countdown, because you know that I will travel this coming Friday sooo far to celebrate my 30th birthday, OMG! And talking about this… just want to say that the truth is that I love how I am. Nowadays (and never understand why) it is bad to say out loud that we are pretty one day, that we do something right or that we are just happy, because envy and negative and offensive comments quickly appear… But hey, I think I’m in this world for something more than to work, to try to change it to better, and it always begins with a first step. So I say all this because I read one comment about my almost 30 years old… personally I think I have my feet on the ground, but if you think that sticking out my tongue in a photo, or smiling and being cheerful on my Snapchat videos is a sign of immaturity, then I want to be immature! Please be yourselves always no matter what people say and being good people. I will not let negative people embitter my life and if I have to fight against this everyday I will do it.

And I leave you now with this very casual look with jeans and sneakers but with a lady touch that comes with the white shirt and burgundy semi-transparent top underneath.
