Maldives, V

Last day in Madrid… packing again for my next trip to Los Angeles tomorrow. Can’t wait to be back!

The truth is that every time I have to leave Madrid for so long there come mixed feelings of sadness and happiness to me. Sad to leave my family and friends here again, my house, my city… but happy because there I also have good friends and also is time to come back to keep on working there. Besides, I’m looking forward to show you everything I’m going to do there these coming weeks because I know you’re going to like it all, it’s going to be fun and interesting.

Today I show you another of the bikinis that I brought to Maldives, which I think is the one that you have most asked me about. The truth is that it is very my style for the design with frills and the light colors: blue and white.

Shark, shark! Right now was when a shark passed just by my side, I do not know if you saw it on my last video on my TV channel. Ana warned me and I thought she was joking to make me feel “weird” in the photos, as I usually do, lol, but no, it was true. It was a baby shark, or so we thought. They aren’t usually carnivorous, they use to eat small fish and plankton.

And I’m going now to finish packing and to finish editing tomorrow’s video that I’ll share with you tomorrow when I arrive to LA.

Have a nice day!

M.C.

Good morning guys!

I can not be happier today, and I think there is no better way to start a new working week.

I had a great time this weekend in Valencia with my friends but also with all of you. I did not know that our family was so big there, you surprised me a lot! I loved meeting everyone, taking pictures and videos with you, Instagram Stories… although I can not answer you one by one I want to tell you that I have seen all the photos and videos you sent me and I love them all, you are the best and I do love Valencia! I will be back soon…

Again it’s time to go back to Los Angeles to continue working there. I’m leaving on Wednesday morning so today and tomorrow as you can imagine will be crazy days for me as I have to bring two huge suitcases and I have to start preparing everything now… The best part is that my friend Sylvia will be coming with me this time, so let’s rock California! This is the best part of my job, being able to travel many times with your best friends because everything becomes so much easier and fun.

I think that these pics are my favourites from Maldives. It is true that pictures in bikini with these colors, this water, are great, but what I really wanted to have photos with a white dress to highlight my sun tanning, walking barefoot on the beach, and with my “happy mood” always. Here I am “very me”. I wish I could come back soon to enjoy this paradise again.

And here you have the last video on my tv channel from Maldives celebrating my birthday, enjoy it!

Let’s rock the Monday family!

M.C.

Good Morning!

Already in Madrid for a couple of days, where actually is not as cold as I though it would be, I continue showing you pictures about my days in Maldives.

You have asked me a lot about what to do on a desert island. As I told you on other post, the country is made by 1,200 islands which only 200 are inhabited with hotels. On a paradise island you can do many more things than what you think. It is true that my original idea was to really go to this paradise to enjoy the beaches and these colors, to rest, to read, to disconnect, to eat well and without hurry… in conclusion, to relax. But I also had time to do other activities like wakeboard or snorkeling. It is an amazing coral barrier that runs through this area, so with one of the birthday presents that my friend Anita gave me (the underwater mask with which you can dive under the water breathing normal), we swam and we toured the edge of the island. Of course we had some other trouble, like always in our lives, lol. Ana and I scraped with the corals and the truth is that it spares the wound a little bit with the salt water. Sylvia lost her go pro camera when we were trying to make a shot from the bottom swimming above the camera. We were also a bit scared when we saw a baby shark, which although it is just a baby but it is impressive anyway to see one so close to you.

I brought a thousand bikinis and swimsuits with me to show them to you, although the truth is that I have not had time to put even the half of them. This is one which you have most asked me about. Right now I think bikinis suits me good, but where is a good swimsuit (and by good I mean sexy, with transparent details, backless…), I look even better. What do you think?

Our daily agenda there was to get up early, like around 7 in the morning. Go to have breakfast and then make some photos (like these) before relaxing, sunbathing and enjoying this paradise. In the afternoon about 5 o clock, we got a bath or a shower and we relax in the room, always with our favourite music, before going to have dinner to the different restaurants that the hotel has inside: Asian, Indian, Mexican, French, Italian…

Real bad life! I hope to come back soon…

And this is all for today. I have a long working day in Madrid, like usually. See you this afternoon at Pull&Bear’s event?

¡Besos!

M.C.

Good morning again from this paradise, Maldives!

And one of the things that you have most asked me about in this last trip on my social networks apart from the bikinis hehe, is for my protection creams and my daily skincare for my face and body.

It is true that as I grow up I have more conscious about how necessary it is to take care of our skin daily and always, not only since you become 30 or 40 years old.

As you know I am very happy to be the new Sesderma ambassador for all this year, but I always like to try the products before telling you everything based on my own experience and how it works for me. I already knew some Sesderma creams, like the anti-aging that my mother uses daily, and the truth is that she loves it. I have oily skin type and also it is a little bit sensitive, so I’m always very careful with the products I use especially on my face. Many times we think that for example for an oily face it is best to use products that dry it more, but this is absolutely wrong. Thanks to the professional doctors behind this brand and what I have been able to contrast with my friends in the same industry, I know that the most important thing to get a healthier skin is to hydrate it every day. All skins need hydration, whatever the kind.

Speaking with the TV presenter Lara Álvarez, another ambassador of the brand with the beautiful Nieves Alvarez, she told me that she also has delicate skin and with these products had managed to control it. She recommended me to use C-Vit serum which is just vitamin C, in the mornings, and also smells great like oranges, and she uses it daily. I have been using it for more than a month now and I notice my skin much healthier and hydrated. I am also using after this serum and before makeup, Factor G cream that moisturizes without giving grease and some other products like the eye contour, or a serum for the growth and strength of my eyelashes.

On the other hand, to take care of my skin these two weeks with this heat and intense sun of Asia, I brought with me the face and body protection cream with high solar protection thanks to which I got this tanned color without burning. I think it’s the first time I do not get burn in the first few days of sunbathing.

And I love the contrast of being on a deserted beach, barefoot at the sand and the sea, with no makeup, and wearing a short dress with embroidered sequins. Many times I look for this kind of contrasts in my photos because they are very my style and it is what I like to show you.

Remember that the skin is the biggest organ of our body and that through the pores of the skin we absorb everything, not only what we put ourselves but external factors such as pollution too. That is why it is very important that we begin to take care of it as soon as possible.

Xx,

M.C.

Hello Ibiza!

IMG_4272

M.C.

What a fun weekend we’ve spent in Ibiza!

Thanks to the swimwear Yamamay, Miriam Perez, Maria Pombo, and I went with our respective mates to enjoy a perfect weekend on the Spanish island for a shooting for the brand.

As you know my friend Carlitos came with me and we spent a few days full of laughs, sun and sunbathe, good food and above all very good vibes.

I took these photos the day we arrived at our hotel, just in front of the sea. I really love this dress in pale pink, vaporous, with studded belt at the waist. I took the details with silver stones to combine it with my silver sandals too.

And today I was supposed to publish today a special post talking again about magnesium and how good it is for our body, but we have had some problems so I will do it tomorrow.

XOXO,

M.C.

Being a woman

IMG_7741

Si no queréis perderos ninguno suscribiros a mi canal aquí: MARTACARRIEDO.TV.

¡Hasta mañana!

M.C.

It is not easy being a woman. Not so easy.

I’m sorry guys, but being a woman has always been more complicated than being a man. From the moment we are born we are treated as the weaker sex unconsciously. As we grow up we experience changes in our bodies and with our hormones that men suffer different that us, that is true. At first time we do not understand well but then we just got used to it… because we have no choice. In our youth we always have to walk with more eye than them in every way, because either we or very “bitch” or very “holy” or we may even have some serious problems just because we are women… And when we are older our body again suffers a brutal transformation both outside and inside, and we have to re-adapt to a new situation again…

We are also more sensitive. Me the most. I do admit it. Sometimes I think we like to suffer more than it is. I do not know many times how to give things and situations (good news or problems) the real importance they have, we are a bit more “dramatic” than them, but so what? My life wouldn’t be my life be without drama, hahaha. I suffer all that much, and I live all that much. But I’m always learning too, and everything that happens to us makes us stronger. Life makes us stronger every day.

It is not easy to work fighting for gender equality when one week a month our hormones are going “to party” making us not recognize even ourselves. Those days are the worst. At least for me. And we need more love, more kisses and details, yes. And if someone really loves us then they should know this and act.

It is not the first time I write about how much I like being a woman, because I love to be a woman. I love feeling stronger every day. To say: if they can, me too. That in life is just a matter of want something, to want is to can. Love is stronger than any social barrier. Every effort always ends up having his reward and everything “bad” that happens to us is because something better is coming… When one door closes a window opens, true story. And everything happens for a reason… everything.

I leave you now with another look from my last trip to Alicante and this afternoon I will share a new fun video with my little sister on my Youtube channel. If you do not want to miss it and any video you can subscribe to my tv channel here: MARTACARRIEDO.TV.

See you tomorrow!

Coffee Plantation

IMG_8556

¡Mil besos!

M.C.

Day Two in Costa Rica.

To start the day we enjoyed this delicious breakfast at our hotel. As you can see I take this time every day to publish the posts on my blog.

Then we went to visit two coffee plantations and to have lunch at Naranjo’s market. The two plantations we visited are the best known of the country: the Espiritu Santo and San Juanillo. And of course as you can see in the pictures it is very impressive the views to a huge coffee plantation, it was an incredible experience to me. In addition to this they shown us the whole process since the coffee plant is planted until it is harvested, the grain is separated and roasted coming to get a perfect and unique coffee in the world. The first coffee importer country from Costa Rica is United States. And I also planted my first coffee plant, so excited about that special moment!

Naranjo’s market is also very typical from the country and you can buy different products and typical fruits like chayote which is a vegetable used here for cooking, fried banana, etc. This market is the most typical in this area and responding to your question about the money you can pay in dollars anywhere, but they will only give you the change in the national currency which are the “colonos”.

Today we are moving again so I’m going to finish the suitcase, take a shower and have breakfast.

Tomorrow more and better histories guys.

XOXO,

M.C.

My suite in paradise

IMG_2405

M.C.

One of the things that I like most about summer time is to get tanned and can go without makeup. It is true that for the videos of my Youtube channel, for the shootings or special pictures or to go to the TV, I have to wear makeup because the image has to be cleaner and “perfect” they say, but whenever I can I like to avoid makeup and all the bases and let my skin breathe for a little bit. That’s what I did the last few days in Koh Samui.

You guys had also asked me to show you our super suite room in Vana Belle Koh Samui and although I did many videos through my Snapchat I wanted also to show you our private pool because the truth is that it is spectacular: it seems that you really are in the middle of the jungle, I had never been in a hotel room like this one before. It was clear that I was going to do some shooting here… hehehe.

They say the best time to visit the country is from November/December until April/May to avoid monsoons and rain, and I assure you that although it has been super heat days we have enjoyed so much everything without rain.

Even I had to wear long sleeve some nights when the temperatures drop slightly. Specifically I want to show you my new collection blazer. I’ve been waiting to a travel like this to release this jacket in light blue with small white flowers and gold details. I have combined it with white to highlight my tanned skin. I never though to wear a jacket like this with a mini skirt but in the end I liked the result. In addition to this a blazer always gives a more stylish touch while the denim white skirt gives the casual style. Do you like this combination?

And now let’s continue working… Tuesday!

See you tomorrow!

Vana Belle Koh Samui

IMG_1198

M.C.

The first day we arrived in Koh Samui, the 23th that actually was my birthday, as we didn’t slept the night before because the flight was late at night, we decided to relax at the beach and sunbathing… but of course, this sun not it is the same as in Spain now, so we get burn… we are women you know haha.

Today I show some areas of our hotel, Vana Belle Resort Koh Samui. This infinity pool to the beach and the sea is at the entrance of the hotel. As you can see is all decorated with small statues of elephants with siren feet, I love them! One of the living rooms where we spent many evenings and where we took the spectacular photos of the sunset is this one, with sofas in light tones, beige and matching with the colors of the sea too.

As I was already tanned in these pics I couldn’t wait anymore to show you a crop top and my arms. This top I bought it some weeks ago in Madrid thinking about this trip and I’ve finally released it. I super like it with the front ruffles and black and white combination again, of course it is one of my favorite clothes for this summer so I’m going to wear it a lot hehe. I have combined it today with black shorts with lace on the edge that I have since many years ago and my black mules sandals from the last year as well. Red lip color is always a must for me at night because I think it helps a lot to dress up our face and even more when you are tanned.

And now we are hading of to Koh Samui airport and back to Bangkok where I will tell you tomorrow more things on a new post.

Happy Saturday everyone!
