¡Buenos días de viernes!

You Only Live Once o lo que es lo mismo “sólo se vive una vez”… así que a aplicarse el cuento y vivir cada día intensamente pero siempre respetando y sin hacer daño a los demás.

Como estoy recuperándome poco a poco de la operación que os comenté no tengo mucha energía para salir a la calle ni para arreglarme demasiado, así que hoy os traigo un outfit muy cómodo y sencillo. Tampoco llevo maquillaje porque no me gusta usarlo todos los días en verano y además para salir un rato a la calle no es necesario.

Las camisetas con mensaje sabéis que son de mis favoritas sobre todo cuando dicen frases tan directas y ciertas como la de hoy. Por eso combiné esta en blanco y negro que es tipo crop top con unos jeans de cuello alto y doble vuelta en el tobillo. Como me puse mi maxi bolso marrón escogí como calzado mis slippers con estampado de leopardo para ir a juego con los colores. Mis pulseras XL de infinito en lisa y doble que ya no me quito porque opino que combinan con cualquier estilismo. Ya os digo que este es un look muy sencillo y cómodo para el día a día porque todavía tengo que continuar con un poco de reposo un par de días más…

Hello friday!

You Only Live Once… so live your life intensely every day but always being respectful and loving others.

As I’m slowly recovering from the operation that I told you I haven’t a lot of energy to go out and to be out of home the whole day, so today I show you a very comfortable and simple outfit. I’m not wearing makeup because I don’t like to use it every day in summer and to go for a stroll it isn’t necessary.

You already know how much I like T-shirts with message especially when they say true words and direct sentences as today’s. So I combined this in black and white crop top type with my high waisted jeans. As I chose my brown maxi bag I opted also for my slippers with leopard print to match the colors of the bag. My XL infinite silver bracelets that I think I can combined with any style. As I said this is a very easy and comfortable outfit for everyday because I still have to rest a couple of days to recover completely…

Floral day

Una de las cosas que más me gusta del verano es poder ponerme a diario mi colección de vestidos que utilizo indistintamente para el día o la noche. Este es uno de mis favoritos porque lleva la mezcla de dos colores muy básicos y elegantes: beige y blanco. Además la parte de arriba lleva unos volantes que son un adorno muy chic. Como también fue un día largo (para variar en mi vida) opté por ponerme zapato plano también en color block con negro y beige. Como accesorios escogí este bonito cinturón dorado con hojas hecho a medida para mi y esta corona de flores. Mis brazaletes dobles en plata y oro son el complemento perfecto para este look sencillo y muy dulce por los detalles tanto del vestido como de las flores en cintura y pelo. Un maxi bolso es imprescindible en mi día a día para poder tener a mano todo lo que necesito en cada momento.

¡Y me voy a seguir con mi súper miércoles! Iréis viendo en mis rrss todas las cositas que tengo hoy pendientes… ¡como me encanta mi trabajo me apetecen todas!

One of the things that I like most about summer time is to wear daily my collection of dresses that I use either for day or night. This is one of my favorites because it mixes two very basic and elegant colors: beige and white. Besides the top has little flyers which are a very chic detail. As it was also a long day (something strange in my life?! hehe) I decided to wear flat shoes also color block with black and beige. As accessories I chose this beautiful gold belt with golden leaves made for me and this floral headband. Double bracelets in silver and gold are the perfect jewelry to combine with the details of the dress and the flowers. A maxi bag is a must in my day to day to carry on everything I need.

And now I’m going to continue with my wednesday which is going to be a looong day as you will see on my social networks… But as I love my work I’m really happy for doing everything!

An elephant in my tee!

Estos días del puente que me escapé a la playa volví a optar por mi combinación de colores favorita: el blanco y negro. La camiseta creo que no me la habíais visto aún. Me encanta aparte de por el estampado con elefante con trompa hacia arriba (que dicen que los que tienen la trompa hacia arriba traen buena suerte), también porque es maxi; me la puedo poner o con un estilo más oversize o con un nudo como en esta ocasión para que quede como un crop top. La combiné con unos pantalones tipo chandal que me he comprado hace poco y que se están convirtiendo en mis favoritos tanto para viajar como para mi día a día por lo cómodos que son y por no ir “embutida” en ellos. Además los detalles con cremalleras en plata tanto en la cintura como en los laterales y bajo del pantalón le dan un toque más roquero a la prenda. Y para romper la monotonía del b&w decidí ponerme mis slippers de leopardo que para las que me lo habéis preguntado si, son comodísimas y más para mi que soy fan del calzado plano pero elegante. Escogí un clutch en tonos marrones a juego con las slippers y unas gafas de sol negras a juego con el outfit.

Como siempre en los últimos posts no llevo maquillaje para poder dejar descansar a la piel y además porque cuando ya se coge color es mejor ir sin nada porque queda más natural.

¿Qué os parece este look que bien podría servir tanto para ir a la oficina como para salir por la noche?

Last week I escaped for the long weekend to the beach and I choose again my favorite mix of colors: black and white.I like this because of the elephant print with trunk up (they say that having the trunk up brings good luck), and also because it’s maxi; I can wear it with an oversize style or with a knot like this time to make it as a crop top. I combined it with my new black tracksuit pants and they are becoming my favorites for traveling and for my day a day by how comfortable they are and the aren’t tight kind of. Furthermore the details with silver zippers on both the waist and sides and under the pants give a more rock touch to the look. To break the monotony of b&w I decided to wear my leopard slippers. To all of you that asked me if they are comfortable I admit it, yes they are and also I’m a big fan of the flat shoes but elegant. I chose a brown toned clutch matching the slippers and my black sunglasses to match the rest of the outfit.

As always in the last few posts I’m not wearing makeup to leave free my skin and even more when it gets tanned because is more natural.

Discovering Montecarlo (part II)

Montecarlo parte II. Aprovechamos la mañana del domingo para ir a desayunar al Café de París en frente del Casino de Monte-Carlo para coger fuerzas e ir a recorrer la costa. Las fotos son en los lugares a mi parecer más destacables como son esta plaza del propio Casino con el edificio de fondo y el Hotel de París a la derecha. Es una ciudad con varios parques de frondosa vegetación y en ellos decidí también tomar algunas fotos. Por último al subir las estrechas calles con edificios y barandillas antiguos en tonos pastel conseguimos tener unas fabulosas vistas de la cuidad con el mar y la montaña al fondo.

Para otro día de turismo por Mónaco escogí esta vez unos pantalones blancos encerados con una camiseta de rayas azules y blancas y encaje en el borde. Mis bailarinas bicolor, unas gafas de sol y mi bolso bandolera morado que dio el toque más colorido al outfit fueron mis completemos.

Montecarlo part II. On Sunday morning we went to have breakfast at Café de Paris in front of the Monte-Carlo Casino to get ready for the day. We walked all over the coast. The pics were taken in my fav places there as the square of the Casino with is the fabulous building behind me and you can see the Hotel of Paris on the right. It is a city with several parks and lush greenery so I also decide to take some pics in them. Finally we strolled around the narrow streets with old buildings and pastel railings to have this fabulous views of the city with the sea and mountains at the background.

For another day exploring Monaco I chose this time a pair of white jeans combined with a sttripped shirt in blue and white with lace details on the edge. My color blocked flats, sunglasses and my purple shoulder bag which gave the color touch to my outfit were my complements.

Discovering Montecarlo (part I)

¡Buenos días!

¿Habéis podido coger puente? Los que hayáis podido iros fuera espero que disfrutéis de unos días más relajados… Yo también he hecho una pequeña escapada a la playa y os escribo ahora mismo desde aquí.

Os sigo enseñado fotos de mi fin de semana en Montecarlo. Esta vez os muestro parte del circuito de Fórmula 1, el puerto con impresionantes barcos como podéis ver en las fotos pero sobre todo lo que más me gustó fueron las vistas desde el Palacio Real de la familia Grimaldi. Vistas al mar con las casas en la costa, parte del puerto deportivo y del pueblo y más arriba la frondosa montaña, un precioso contraste.

Para un día de turismo como este opté como siempre por la comodidad. Unos jeans vaqueros, mi camiseta negra de Homies y una camisa vaquera por encima para los momentos en que bajaban más las temperaturas (por la mañana y por la noche). Volví a escoger mis cómodas sneakers plateadas que al ser perforadas por los laterales no dan calor al pie. Como accesorios un maxi bolso y unas gafas negras.

Morning people!

How is going your long weekend? Those of you that were able to go away out of the city hope you enjoy a few more relaxed days… I’ve also made a escape to the beach and I’m writing you now from here.

I keep showing you pictures of my weekend in Monte-Carlo. This time I show part of the Formula 1 circuit, the marina with all those luxury boats as you can see in the pictures but what I liked most were the views from the Royal Palace of the Grimaldi family. The sea in the distance, the cute houses on the coast, the marina and the town and above the lush mountains, a lovely contrast.

For a day of tourism I always choose a comfy outfit. Ripped jeans, my black Homies shirt and a denim shirt for the early morning and evening. I wore once again my silver sneakers that are perforated by the sides so they keep my feet cool. My chosen accessories were my LV maxi bag and my black leather sunglasses.

Po River, Turin

Haber conocido una nueva ciudad italiana, y más Turín, ha sido de las cosas que más me han gustado de mi último viaje. Conozco muchas ciudades de este país y realmente pensaba que Turín iba a ser “una más” pero me ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Los edificios bajos tipo en colores pastel y beige, tantos arcos por donde pasan coches y peatones, los tranvías recorriendo de punta a punta la ciudad, innumerables jardines, el Palacio Real, las plazas enormes con terrazas al aire libre para degustar sus exquisitos “gelatos”… Me ha enamorado mucho más que cualquier otra ciudad que había conocido hasta ahora de esa zona. Uno de los paseos obligatorios es caminar al borde del río Po donde encontraréis puentes como este. Tranquilidad y un paisaje fabuloso es lo que encontré durante varias horas de “caminata” hasta terminar en la Torre Mole Antonelliana que se ve a lo lejos en algunas de las fotos.

Para este día de paseo escogí una falda larga en tono rosa maquillaje combinada con un crop top vaquero envejecido atado a la cintura. Como calzado me puse mis sneakers plateadas que me compré allí y quería estrenarlas cuanto antes. El bolso morado es el toque más colorido del look junto con el reloj blanco con detalles en colores pastel. Y cómo no maxi gafas de sol para un día soleado.

Discovering a new Italian city, Turin has been one of the things that I liked more on my last trip. I’ve already visited many cities in this country and I really thought that Turin would be “one more” but it surprised me. The beige and pastel colors low buildings, a city full of arches through which pass cars and people, trams traveling from one side to another of the city, many different gardens, the wonderful Royal Palace, the huge squares with terraces to enjoy their delicious “gelato “… I have fallen in love with this city more than any other italian one. One of the required strolls is to walk by the side of the Po river where you will find bridges like this one on the pics. Calm and a fabulous scenery is what I found for some hours walking to end up in the Mole Antonelliana Tower which you can see in the distance in some of the pics.

For this strolling day I chose a long skirt in makeup pink combined with a denim washed effect crop top tied at the waist. I wore my new silver sneakers that I bought there and I wanted to release them asap. The purple bag gave the color touch to the look with the white watch with pastel details. Of course maxi sunglasses for a sunny day.

Working girl in Brussels

Como siempre en mis viajes me gusta encontrar sitios cómodos y tranquilos donde poder pasar unas horas trabajando a mi aire sin que nadie me moleste. Lo que más valoro aparte de la tranquilidad es que sea un espacio en el que me sienta cómoda y que me transmita justo eso: serenidad y que me haga sentir como en casa. En esta ocasión esta fue la sala que escogí en el Hotel Montgomery 5* de Bruselas en el que me alojé. La decoración, muy clásica y elegante, no podía combinar más con mi estilo y con lo que me gusta encontrarme cuando salgo de mi casa. Allí pasé varias horas de trabajo…

Analizando más en profundidad el look escogí un mono vaquero negro que hacía tiempo que andaba buscando uno acorde con mi estilo hasta que encontré este. Debajo una camiseta blanca básica con rayas grises y un jersey de cashmere en beige. Mis bailarinas color-blocked combinaban a la perfección con los tonos del peto y del jersey.

Ya estoy de vuelta por Madrid y a punto de empezar con este lunes y esta semana llenos de trabajo y reuniones pero como siempre con muchas ganas de ello.

As always in my travels I like to find a comfortable and quiet place where to spend a few hours working on my own without anyone bothering me. What I always look for is calm apart from being a place where I feel comfortable and able to work feeling like at home. At this 5* Eurostars Montgomery Hotel where I stayed in Brussels this was the saloon I chose where to do my work. The deco, very classic and elegant, combined perfectly with my style and what I like to find when I’m far away from home. There I spent many working hours…

Talking about my look I chose a black denim jumpsuit that I’ve been looking for for a long time until I found this one. I put on basic white shirt with gray stripes and a cashmere sweater in beige. My color-blocked flats that combined perfectly with the colors of the jumpsuit and jersey.

And I’m back in Madrid and about to start a very busy week full of work and meetings but as always happy do do it!

Brussels day 1

Bruselas, día 1. Llegué ayer a mediodía a esta ciudad europea y la verdad es que me sorprendió mucho verla tan vacía… claro que no sabía que aquí era puente y mucha gente estaba fuera. Entre reunión y reunión aproveché para recorrer la ciudad dando un paseo y tomé estas fotos en algunas de las zonas menos concurridas y que más me gustaron. Son por el barrio residencial Montgomery y por Brouckère que es la zona más comercial (y de shopping) de la ciudad y precisamente ahí es donde está situado el Hotel Eurostars Montgomery donde me alojo que es de un estilo clásico y vintage como a mi me gusta, entrar y ver que es un hotel elegante y con personalidad.

Aunque no fue un día soleado en realidad no hacía frío así que opté por ponerme una gabardina cloro maquillaje que es una prenda perfecta para los días grises. Debajo una camiseta de rayas para dar un toque más marinero combinada con mis pantalones rajados. Unas cómodas sneakers siempre son una buena opción para recorrer una ciudad y más cuando es la primera vez. Mi inseparable maxi bolso me acompaña siempre en estos viajes en los que tengo que llevar encima todo el día la cámara, la agenda, un cuaderno de notas, mi botella de agua…

Mañana más y mejor, ¡hoy me toca visita a Amberes!

Brussels, Day 1. I arrived yesterday in the afternoon to this European city and the truth is that I was surprised to see it so empty… but we didn’t know that here was legal holiday so many people were out of town. Between meetings I took this pics to show you what I was wearing while I was strolling by the streets that I like most. They were taken at Montgomery neighborhood and at The Brouckère which is the more comercial (and shopping) area of the center. It’s just there where my Eurostars Montgomery Hotel is located which is a classic and vintage style hotel and they take care of every single detail, it’s very elegant and you know it since the first moment you come in.

Although it was not a sunny day actually was not so cold so I opted for wearing a color nude raincoat which is a perfect cloth for these gray kinda days. I combined it with a striped shirt in white and navy blue to get the navy style with my ripped dark slim fit jeans. A comfy sneakers are always a good choice for a city tour and even more when it’s the first time. My beloved maxi bag always comes with me on these trips where I have to carry all my belongings: the camera, my agenda, a notebook, my water bottle…

Tomorrow more and better news, today I’m going to Antwerp!

Color-blocked dress

¡Hola hola!

Siento el retraso en publicar el post de hoy pero como algunos ya sabéis llevo una semana intensa y no por las reuniones y trabajo, sino porque estoy mala del oído y he tenido que ir varias veces al hospital…

¡Pero más vale tarde que nunca! Así que aquí os dejo el post de hoy que aunque no acompaña con el tiempo que estamos tendiendo estos días en la capital es muy fresquito y veraniego.

El vestido color-blocked en negro y rosa palo me gusta porque se puede llevar tanto a diario como lo llevo yo hoy con bailarinas y un maxi bolso como sandalias o tacones y un clutch. Además la mezcla de texturas del negro liso con los flecos me pareció muy original. Hoy si que he escogido varios complementos llamativos para resaltar el look: mi preferido es el brazalete dorado porque aparte de ser muy vistoso cuando estás morena sienta aún mejor. El anillo de los labios y mi collar de pinchos con diamantes ya me los habéis visto en otras ocasiones.

Sorry for the delay in posting today’s post but as many of you know I’ve had a very busy week of meetings and work and furthermore I’ve earache and I’ve had to go several times to the hospital…

But better late than never! So here I show you this post with a summer dress although these days are a little bit cold in Madrid.

I like the color-blocked dress in black and soft pink because you can wear it for both daily as I do now with these color-blocked flats and a maxi bag or with heels and a clutch to have dinner. I find very original the mix of textures of the dress: black silk with fringed pale skirt. Today I have chosen striking accessories to highlight the look: my favorite is the gold bracelet because it really makes you shine. You already know my lip ring and my spiked collar with diamonds.

An easy day…

Para que luego digan que la vida de una blogger es fácil… Y eso que yo no me considero una blogger como tal porque realizo otros trabajos adicionales al blog además de haber creado mi propia empresa de comunicación…

Hoy os cuento cómo fue mi mañana de ayer, ¡sólo la mañana! Me levanté pronto para ir como invitada a los desayunos de Infoactualidad de la Faculta de Ciencias de la Información de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Tuve la suerte de contar como compañera de ponencia con la redactora de belleza de Vogue España Yolanda Ormazábal de la cual aprendí muchos consejos sobre belleza y productos para la piel además de ser un honor para mi haberla conocido en persona.

A continuación me pasé por la presentación de la nueva colección de Etam para este verano que dentro de muy poquito veréis en mi blog. Los estampados con flores de Liberty, colores vivos y lisos, bañadores completos y hasta estampados de muñeca son sus apuestas para esta temporada. Yo escogí este bañador con estampado de Barbie porque me pareció de lo más original aparte de que pienso que con unos shorts vaqueros puede sentar muy bien, ¿os gusta a vosotros?

Por último me pasé por el Open Day de Oysho para conocer las nuevas propuestas para la temporada de Otoño/Invierno’14-’15. Desde luego no me defraudó. Vuelven los jerseys abrigaditos pero con lanas finas y suaves, los estampados étnicos, las prendas interiores con encajes en nuevos colores invernales… ¡hasta batas de estilo asiático que yo me pienso poner como abrigo! (como la que veis en la foto). Sin duda prendas muy posibles tanto para dentro como para fuera de casa.

Y ahora me voy corriendo de nuevo a una clase de yoga para traeros nuevas noticias mañana…

Then they say that a blogger’s life is easy… And I don’t even consider myself a normal blogger because I have another works in addition to the blog and I’ve created my own communication company…

Today I tell you how was my yesterday morning,only the morning! I woke up early to go to a special breakfast as a speaker at “Infoactuality” of the Faculty of Information Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid. I was so lucky for having as companion the wonderful beauty editor of Vogue Spain, Yolanda Ormazábal, from whom I learned many tips on beauty world and skin care products. She’s and amazing and very smart super woman.

Then I went to the presentation of Etam new collection for this summer which you soon will see here on my blog. The Liberty prints with flowers, vivid colors, full swimsuits and even doll prints are their musts for this season. I chose this Barbie -print bathing suit because I think is one of the most original ones apart from that I will combine it with some denim shorts, do you like it?

Finally I went through Oysho Open Day to see the new proposals for the Autumn/Winter’14- ’15 . I certainly didn’t disappoint. Warm jerseys are back but with thin and soft wool fabrics, ethnic prints, lace underwear in new winter colors… even asian style robes that I think I will wear as a coat ! (as you can see in the pics hehe). Definitely is a collection that you can wear for both inside and outside home.

And now I’m going to a yoga class to bring you more fresh news tomorrow…
