Últimas horas en la ciudad de los ángeles antes de volver a casa aunque sólo vaya a ser por un par de días…

Reconozco que tengo sentimientos encontrados. Por una parte tengo muchas ganas de ver a mi familia, a mis amigos, necesito abrazos, besos, necesito escuchar “te quieros reales”, disfrutar de amor del bueno, de dormir en mi camita y de estar en mi casita, disfrutar paseando por mi ciudad… y, cómo no, ¡de un buen cocido y tortilla de patatas! hahaha. Pero por otra parte también es cierto que no me apetece irme del todo. Siempre que me voy de LA me pasa lo mismo. Me encanta mi vida aquí, mis amigos, todos los planes que hago, mi trabajo aquí, esto es un sueño para mí, un sueño por el que llevo luchando mucho y muy duro durante los últimos años… Pero lo bueno es que donde algunos ven un problema en vivir así o vida desordenada yo veo la gran ventaja de poder vivir entre dos ciudades que me encantan rodeada en ambas de personas que no puedo querer más y de dos culturas diferentes pero que me han enriquecido como persona. ¡Menuda suerte tengo! Por eso siempre me gusta ver la parte positiva de las cosas así que me quedo con todo lo bueno y lo bonito que he vivido una vez más en esta ciudad. No me echéis mucho de menos por aquí eh, ¡que vuelvo en unas semanas!

Yo mientras seguiré escribiendoos estos diarios de mi vida americana con consejos, lugares, tiendas, looks, etc. a visitar por aquí.

Hoy os quería enseñar estas fotos que hicimos en Long Beach, en el barco de mi amigo Tarek, hace un par de fines de semana. Nos lo pasamos genial haciendo barbacoa en el barco y navegando al atardecer para disfrutar de la puesta de sol y de los delfines, que se ven a esa hora.

Este es mi amigo Chema que fue de mis primeros amigos cuando llegué a LA… y chicas, ¡está soltero! aunque ya se que muchas le conocéis y me habéis preguntado por él… haha.

Y por fin acabo de conseguir cerrar todas mis maletas y me voy a dormir ya porque el primer vuelo de mañana sale pronto…

Last hours in the city of angeles before coming back home even if it is only for a couple of days…

And I do admit it that I have mixed feelings. On one hand I really want to see my family, my friends, I need hugs, kisses, I need a “real” I love you, I need true love, sleep in my bed and be in my house, enjoy walking my amazing city… and, of course, a good stew and Spanish omelette! hahaha. But on the other hand it is also true that I do not want to leave at all. Whenever I leave LA the same thing happens to me. I love my life here, my friends, all the plans that I do, my work here, my non stop days, this is a dream for me, a dream that I’ve been fighting hard to achieve during the last few years… But the good thing is that where some people see a problem in being living like this or having a disorderly life I see the great advantage of being able to live between two cities that I do love and surrounded in both of people that I can not love anymore. Also the advantage of enjoy and live two different cultures that have made me grown as a person. How lucky I am! That’s why I always like to see the positive side of things so I leave now with all the good things that have happened to me these weeks in this city. Do not miss me so much here, uh, I’ll be back in a few weeks!

I will continue to write these diaries of my American life with advice, places, shops, looks, etc. to visit around here. So stay tuned!

Today I wanted to show you these photos we took in Long Beach, at my friend Tarek’s boat, a couple of weekends ago. We had a great time doing bbq on the boat and sailing in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset and the dolphins, which are seen at that time.

This is my friend Chema who was my very first friend when I came here to LA… and girls, he’s single! although I know that many of you already know him through my Stories… haha.

So finally I have just closed all my luggage and I’m going to sleep right now because the first flight tomorrow leaves very soon in the morning…

Don’t worry, be happy.

“Marta, no te preocupes, no te agobies, todo tiene solución. Céntrate en ser feliz”. Esta es la frase que mi querida madre me repite muy a menudo y sinceramente cuanto más tiempo paso fuera de casa más me acuerdo de ella y de todo lo que me ha enseñado.

No me puedo creer que hace apenas un mes estuviese en la otra parte del mundo, en Asia, disfrutando y conociendo una cultura y a unas personas muy diferentes a la cultura occidental. Y me encantó por cierto. La base de todo en esta vida es el respeto, y a mí me enriquece muchísimo conocer a nuevas personas e intentar ver la vida desde otros puntos de vista.

Lo cierto es que yo era una persona mucho más vulnerable, e insegura antes, y también me agobiaba con más facilidad. Pero algo que me encanta es ir viendo cómo a medida que voy creciendo y madurando hay muchas cosas que las veo desde otra perspectiva muy distinta a la que solía hacerlo. Los agobios no sirven de nada, sólo para retrasar las cosas o no buscar soluciones rápidas y efectivas. Las inseguridades sólo hacen que nos queramos y nos valoremos menos de lo que realmente valemos. El daño que nos pueda hacer gente externa es proporcional al que nosotros queramos que nos hagan. Y por supuesto lo más importante de todo es ser felices y buscar siempre la parte positiva de todo lo que nos pase. Somos muy afortunados por tener todo lo que tenemos cuando más del 80% del mundo no tienen lo suficiente para sobrevivir cada día. Y me sorprende ver cómo muchos de ellos son bastante más felices que nosotros. Envidia muy sana en este sentido. Gente muy limpia y pura de corazón. Ejemplos a seguir en lugar de determinados “líderes” sociales que tenemos.

Espero que os gusten estas fotos que son las últimas de Sri Lanka cuando subimos hasta arriba del todo de la roca de Sigiriya y conocimos las ruinas del pueblo y antiguo castillo de Polonnaruwa.

Don’t worry, be happy.

“Marta, don’t worry, stay calm, everything has a solution. Focus on being happy.” This is the phrase that my dear mom repeats me very often and sincerely the more time I spend away from home the more I remember her and everything she has taught me.

I can not believe that just a month ago I was in the other side of the world, in Asia, enjoying and discovering a culture and people very different from our culture. And I absolutely loved it. The basis of everything in this life is respect, and it enriches me a lot to meet new people and try to see life from other points of view.

The truth is that I was a much more vulnerable and insecure person some years ago and I was also more easily stressed. But something that I love in my life is to see how as I grow up and mature there are many things that I see from another perspective very different to the one I used to do. The stress is useless, just to delay things or not to focus on a quick and effective solution. Insecurities only make us want and value ourselves less than we really worth. The hurt that external people can do to us is directly proportional to what we allow them to do to us. And of course the most important thing of all is to be happy and always look for the positive part in everything that happens to us. We are very lucky to have everything we have when more than 80% of the world does not have enough to survive each day. And I’m surprised to see how many of them are much happier than us. Healthy envy in this aspect, yes. People with a clear mind and a pure heart. Real examples to follow instead of our new social “leaders”.

I hope you like these photos which are the last ones from Sri Lanka when we climb up to the top of the rock of Sigiriya and discovered the ruins of the village and ancient castle of Polonnaruwa.

¿Qué puede haber mejor en la vida que trabajar en lo que más te gusta y con lo que disfrutas al máximo? Que en el proyecto esté involucrada una de tus mejores amigas.

Tenía ganas de poder enseñaros estas fotos del shooting que hicimos Sylvia y yo para Ragdoll LA justo antes de irnos a Coachella. Es una de mis marcas favoritas, ya lo sabéis, y no sólo por los diseños que me encantan sino por el súper equipo de profesionales y gente “buena y humilde” de verdad que hay detrás. Además las colecciones son completamente de mi estilo con piezas básicas y sencillas que sirven para todos los días pero que bien combinadas con los accesorios adecuados también nos las podemos poner para salir de fiesta.

Qué bonito es en la vida encontrar a gente positiva, gente sin envidias, gente que te quiere de verdad, que busca tu bien, que llora contigo lo que haga falta, que ríe también, que se alegra por tus logros y victorias, que te anima a seguir adelante. En definitiva, qué bonito es encontrarme a gente en la vida que se parezca a ti y que sumen en tu vida tanto como tú en las de ellos. No tienen que ser amigos desde siempre para darte cuenta de que van a ser personas que jugarán un papel importante en tu vida. Y esto es lo que más me gusta de mi trabajo, conocer a nuevos y buenos amigos.

Como muchos habréis visto hoy he estado grabando y de shooting de belleza con un compañero Youtuber. Ha sido una experiencia muy divertida y diferente y estoy deseando poder contaros y enseñaros todo porque creo que os va a encantar.

Mañana es otro día importante para mí y os iré contando lo que pueda en mi Stories.

Ahora me voy a dormir que creo que ya es hora de que después de una semana durmiendo 3h al día recupere un poco de sueño…

What can be better in life than working on what you like the most and what you enjoy the most? There’s something better yes, to work in a project with one of your best friends.

I’m so happy to finally show you these photos of the shooting that Sylvia and I did for Ragdoll LA just before traveling to Coachella. It is one of my favorite brands, you already know it, and not only for the designs that I love them all but for the super team of professionals and good and humble people that is behind. In addition to this the collections are completely my style with basic and simple pieces that we can wear everyday but well combined with the appropriate accessories we can also wear them to go out.

How beautiful it is in life to find positive people, people without envy, people who really love you, who wish you the best, who cries with you the times that you might need, who laughs too, who is happy for your achievements and victories, people who encourage you to move forward, not back. In conclusion, how nice it is to meet people in life who are like you and who join into your life with good vibes like you do in theirs. They do not have to be friends from always to realize that they are going to be people who will play an important role in your life. And this is what I like most about my job, meeting new and good friends.

As many of you have seen today I have been filming and shooting a beauty video with a Youtuber mate. It has been a very fun and different experience and I look forward to being able to tell you and show you everything because I think you will love it too.

And tomorrow is another important day for me and I will tell you what I can through my Stories.

Now I’m going to sleep because I think that finally it’s time to sleep a little bit after a week sleeping just 3h a day… I deserve it!

My 31st birthday!

¡Buenos días, hoy desde Madrid por fin!

Después de 10h de coches, 2 aviones y varias escalas de más de 4 horas… por fin estoy en casita aunque sólo sea por un par de días.

Estaba deseando llegar a Madrid para poder descargarme y compartir con vosotros las fotos y vídeo de este día tan especial: ¡mi 31 cumpleaños!

Quise hace una cena muy “petit comité” con las personas que quiero y que son importantes para mí a día de hoy. Lo organicé en Villa Torii, el nuevo restaurante privado de Philippe Starck, en la Puerta de Alcalá. Aunque faltaron algunos, yo les tuve presente y ellos saben a quién me refiero. Ya sabéis que desde que cumplí los 30 algo cambió en mí, no se si por entrar en la treintena pero cuido mucho más la gente de la que me rodeo ya que me parece algo imprescindible para mi felicidad: rodearme de personas buenas, sin envidias, que me quieran bien y que me demuestren que siempre estarán a mi lado. Igual que yo a ellos. ¡Os quiero!

También quiero que sepáis que también os tuve presentes a todos vosotros y que me encanta cómo va creciendo esta familia. No podría tener mejor regalo de cumple que llegar ya a los 300.000 seguidores en Instagram. ¡Qué fuerte! Reconozco que a veces me da un poco de ‘vértigo’ si me paro a pensarlo porque es mucha gente, pero me encanta sentiros tan cerca cada día y que vayamos creciendo juntos. ¡Gracias chicos!

Escogí un vestido de tirantes en color nude con pedrería gris bordada y por una vez en mi vida supe hacerme bien, yo misma, las ondas del pelo. Voy progresando hehe.

Espero que os gusten tanto las fotos (excepto las dos primeras las demás son el color sepia que me gustaba más por ser un día especial) como el vídeo y recordad que la vida son dos días, así que aprovechémoslos al máximo, cada minuto, cada segundo.

Good morning, finally from Madrid!

After 10h by car, 2 flights (Colombo-Doha-Madrid) and 2 stops of more than 4 hours… I’m finally at home, and I do love it even it it’s just for a couple of days.

I was waiting to come back to Madrid to be able to download and share with you all the photos and video of this special day: my 31st BIRTHDAY!

I wanted to make a very “petit committee” dinner with the people I love and that are important to me in this moment of my life. I organized it at Villa Torii , the new private restaurant of the architect Philippe Starck, located at Puerta de Alcalá in Madrid. Although some were missing, I kept them in mind and they know who I mean. You know that since I turned 30 something changed inside me, for good, I do not know if it was because of the thirties but I care so much more about people around me and it is something essential for my happiness to surround myself by good people, without envy, good vibes, and people that love me well and that show me that they will always be by my side. Same as me. I love you!

I also want you to know that I also had you all present on my mind and that I love how this family is growing up so fast . I could not have a better birthday present than reaching 300,000 followers on Instagram. OMG! So excited! I must admit that sometimes it gives me a bit of ‘vertigo’ if I stop and think about it because it is a lot of people, but I love feeling you so close to me every day and I love the idea of growing up together. Thank you guys, you are the best!

I chose a lace style dress in nude color with gray rhinestones embroidered and for once in my life I knew how to make myself natural waves on the hair. Step by step, lol.

I hope you like the photos (except from these two first ones the others are in sepia color because I liked them most for being a special day) and the video and remember that life is two days, so let’s take advantage of them every minute, every second.

Esta sí que es una de las súper ventajas de mi trabajo: que te lleven un finde a trabajar a una isla como Ibiza, con unas compis y amigas de lo más divertidas y con una marca tan chula como Yamamay. ¿Dónde hay que firmar? Hehehe.

Pues aquí os dejo algunas fotos de los shootings que hicimos para la marca y de los divertidos momentos que pasé con mis amigas y también bloggers María Pombo y Miriam Pérez. Como veis al final lo natural es lo que más vale, por lo que los shootings fueron divertidos y llenos de risas y buen royo. Además Alberto el súper fotógrafo que nos acompañó todo el finde lo hizo todo aún más fácil. Así sí que da gusto trabajar.

Me voy de viaje de nuevo esta vez a pasar el finde a Cartagena con unos amigos. ¿Alguien por allí?

This is for sure one of the super benefits of my work: to spend the weekend to work in an amazing island like Ibiza, with cool mates and friends and having fun with a youthful brand like Yamamay. Where do I have to sign? Hehehe.

Well, here are some pictures of the shootings we did for the brand and the fun times I spent with my friends and also bloggers María Pombo and Miriam Pérez. As you can see in the end the more natural the better, so the shootings were fun and full of laughs and good vibes. Besides, our super photographer Alberto who accompanied us during all the weekend he did everything even easier. So yes, it is a pleasure to work like this.

Como os digo muchas veces, desgraciadamente es muy difícil encontrar a gente buena y “pura” hoy en día… pero evidentemente hay excepciones.

Me lo he pasado genial esta semana con Maja en casa y haciendo planes con mi amiga Bea que se ha unido a nosotras y su perrita Pauli que nos tiene a todos enamorados. ¡Os prometo que es una más y que es súper lista! Mirad cómo posa, lo hace mucho mejor que yo, hehe.

Por eso no hay que tirar nunca la toalla chicos, porque siempre acaba apareciendo gente en nuestras vidas para sumarnos. Gente que nos alegra cada día, que nos cogen de la mano y no nos sueltan, que nos dan amor del de verdad sin esperar nada a cambio, que nos quieren tal y como somos y no pretenden cambiarnos, gente que de verdad se alegra de nuestros éxitos y no sólo de cara al público… Por esas personas vale la pena luchar y seguir siempre hacia delante. Yo estoy contenta por pensar que aunque sean pocos, se que tengo varias personas a mi alrededor que darían todo por mi y por supuesto yo por ellos, esto es lo que me hace feliz cada día.

Respecto al look, escogimos las 3 llevar shorts para hacer fotos chulis en el Retiro. Al principio no teníamos en mente una localización en concreto pero cuando vimos estas columnas que a mi me encantan, decidimos hacer el shooting aquí. No os imagináis el momento subirnos aquí las 3, con Pauli, con cámaras, bolsas, batidos… fue muy divertido la verdad.

Hoy me toca ir al Escorial a grabar el último programa de la temporada que se emitirá en directo esta tarde a las 18:30h. Es mi primer directo así que estoy algo nerviosa, espero que no os lo perdáis porque al menos divertido sí que os aseguro que va a ser… ¡y hasta aquí puedo leer! Os veo esta tarde en el canal 23 de Movistar Plus.

As I say often, unfortunately it is very difficult to find good people with a “pure” heart nowadays… but of course there are always exceptions.

I have been very happy this week with Maja my friend at my home and making plans with one of my best friends too, Bea, who has joined us with her little dog Pauli. We all are in love with Pauli! I promise you that she is sooo cute but also super smart! Look ho she strikes a pose! She does it better than me, hehe.

So we must never give up guys, because people always ends up showing up in our lives to stay when we never expect it. People that make us happy every day no matter what happened, people who take our hand and walk with us, people who give us real love without expecting anything in return, people who like us and how we are and don’t try to change us, people who is happy for our success… For all these people it is worth fighting for and always move forward. I’m happy to think that even if they are few ones, I have some people around me who would give everything for me and of course I would do the same for them, this is what makes me happy every day.

About the look, we decided to wear shorts to take cool pictures at the Retiro’s Park. At the very beginning we did not have in mind a specific location but when we saw these columns that I love, we decided to do the shooting here. You can not imagine the situation to climb up there the 3 of us, with Pauli, cameras, bags, smoothies… it was really very funny.

Today I have to go to the Escorial to record the last program of the season until September. I will be live this afternoon at 18: 30h. It’s my very first real live show so I’m a little bit nervous, I hope you don’t miss it because at least I can tell you that t’s gonna be funny yes… and I can not say anymore yet!See you this evening on the 23rd tv channel of Movistar Plus.

My own fairytale

Lo reconozco, siempre me han gustado los cuentos de hadas, las películas con finales felices.

No se si de esto tendrá la culpa Walt Disney con el “y vivieron felices y comieron perdices”, pero desde luego yo aspiro y trabajo cada día por tener una vida alegre y feliz y transmitirlo a la gente que me rodea.

Aunque sabéis que trabajo 24/7 muchas veces en todas estas escapadas y viajes que hago ya sabéis que me gusta pararme a pensar en mi vida, tener un momento para mi y analizar hacia dónde voy y qué es lo que de verdad me gustaría hacer. Creo que todos deberíamos tener un tiempo de reflexión en nuestras vidas para pensar en este tipo de cosas. Si lo estamos haciendo bien o no. Si podemos hacerlo mejor. Pero sobre todo si lo que hacemos nos hace felices. Al final sólo tenemos una vida y debemos aprovecharla al máximo.

Estas fotos las hice de nuevo en la Granja de Esporles donde como os comenté ayer cada rincón tiene un encanto único. Para no aburriros sólo os he dejado un par de cada una de las localizaciones de este preciso patio interior que se encuentra a la entrada de la finca. Por unos momentos eché a volar mi imaginación inventado cómo vivirían allí sus inquilinos hace varios cientos de años… La casa noble no tiene desperdicio por dentro y se conserva prácticamente intacta desde el siglo XVI.

Me voy corriendo a coger el tren hacia Barcelona.

I do admit it, I have always loved fairy tales, movies with happy endings, who doesn’t?

I do not know if it’s Walt Disney’s fault with “and they lived happily ever after”, but of course I aspire and work every day to have a cheerful and happy life and to transmit it to the people around me.

Although you know that I work almost 24/7 many times in all these breaks and trips I like to stop for a while and think about my life, take a moment for me and look where I’m going and what I would really like to do. I think everyone should have a time for reflection in our lives to think about this kind of things. If we are doing well or not. If we can do it better. But especially if what we do makes us happy. In the end we have only one life and we should live it to the fullest.

These photos were made again at La Granja de Esporles where as I mentioned yesterday, every corner has a unique charm. To not bore you I have left only a couple of pics in each location of this wonderful courtyard located at the entrance of the place. For a moment I let fly my imagination inventing how they would live there some hundred years ago… The noble house has been almost fully preserved since the XVI century!

I’m running now to take my train to Barcelona.

Wedding wishes…

Una boda significa alegría, deseos y promesas para siempre, risas, buenos momentos con las personas más cercanas y por supuesto ¡bailes y copas!

Este sábado se daban el ‘Sí, quiero’ dos de mis mejores amigos. Blanca es amiga mía desde hace más de 15 años y os puedo contar que es una de las mejores personas que conozco. Blanca es una chica muy alegre, divertida y entre otras mil cosas la mejor ortodoncista de Madrid hehe. Álvaro ha sido compañero mío de la Universidad, más tímido que Blanca pero siempre muy cercano, también con un gran corazón, trabajador, y lo más importante: su prioridad en la vida es la felicidad de Blanca. Por eso desde aquí os deseo todo lo mejor porque sois la mejor pareja que he conocido en el sentido del amor que se tienen, de la confianza del uno en el otro, el respeto mutuo y sobre todo porque ¡no han discutido nunca! Increíble pero cierto…

Como os podéis imaginar la boda fue divertidísima porque nos juntamos todos los amigos de ambas partes. Lo celebraron en la Antigua Fábrica de Harina, que es uno de los sitios más espectaculares que conozco para este tipo de celebraciones, ¡tomad nota chicas!

Para una ocasión tan especial me decidí a no llevar el pelo suelto y liso como me lo veis habitualmente. Quería un recogido juvenil y no ‘perfecto’ sino que estuviese como deshecho y desigual. Llevo una trenza lateral de izquierda a derecha por arriba y en el lado izquierdo una mini trenza, las dos recogidas atrás en un moñete deshecho dejando algunos pelos sueltos. Esta magnífica obra de arte fue una vez más gracias a mi amiga Anabel que es la que me maquilla y me peina siempre que tengo algo importante, ¡mil gracias amor!

Terminemos ya con el look que escogí. Llevo un vestido que se ha convertido en mi favorito para este tipo de actos. Lleva un forro de gasa color nude (maquillaje) debajo y por encima una capa de tul por todo el vestido lleno de predrería bordada. Va cerrado al cuello con manga corta y me gusta mucho el corte en la cintura formando luego una falda plisada que da más vuelo y movimiento. Como las temperaturas por las noches sabéis que bajan un poco escogí esta blazer blanca con tela brillante y como accesorios llevo un clutch dorado a juego con los tonos del vestido y un par de anillos. Al principio mi idea era ponerme estos salones también en color nude a juego con el vestido pero luego visteis que escogí mejor unas sandalias con algo de plataforma, tacón ancho y lazo arriba porque pensé que eran más apropiadas para el suelo del escenario en que se celebró la boda.

Espero que os guste mi propuesta y quiero terminar este con la reflexión que os puse anoche: el amor no se demuestra diciendo TE QUIERO, se demuestra en el día a día, en los pequeños detalles, en hacer ver a la otra persona que es importante en tu vida, prácticamente imprescindible para tu felicidad, en el compromiso. Así es como yo lo veo.

A wedding always means joy, desires and promises forever, laughs, good times with the closest friends and family and of course dancing and drinks!

This last Saturday two of my best friends got married. Blanca is a friend of mine since more than 15 years ago and I can tell you that is one of the best persons I’ve ever known. Blanca is a happy girl, funny and apart from thousand of other things she is the best orthodontist in town hehe. Alvaro has been my mate at the University and he is more timid than Blanca but always a very close guy, also with a big heart, hardworking, and the most important of all: his priority in life is Blanca’s happiness. So from here I wish you all the best guys because you are the best couple I have ever met in the sense of loving each other, confidence in each other, mutual respect and above all because they have never discussed! Unbelievable but true story…

As you can imagine the wedding was amazing because we were all the friends together of both parties. The wedding was celebrated at the Antigua Fábrica de Harinas, which is one of the most spectacular places I know for this kind of celebrations, so girls, take note!

For such a special occasion I decided to not wear my straight hair as I usually wear it. I wanted a young and non ‘perfect’ topknot with my hair. I was wearing a side braid from left to right at the top and on the left side a mini braid, the two of them set out on a broken back topknot leaving some loose hairs. This magnificent work of art was once again thanks to my dear friend Anabel which always does what I exactly want with my hair and makeup, so thank you once again my love!

And we finish with the look I chose. I was wearing a short dress that has become my favorite one for this kind of acts. I’m wearing a nude silk nightie below and over a tulle around completely embroidered with little beads. It is closed at the neck with short sleeves and I like the cut at the waist creating then a pleated skirt that gives more flight and movement to my body. As temperatures at night you know that goes down a bit I chose this white blazer with shiny cloth and as accessories I chose a clutch with gold details matching the dress and a pair of rings. At the first my idea was to wear these stilettos also in nude color to match the dress but then I realised that it was a better option to chose sandals with some platform, wide heel and tie on top because I thought it was more appropriate to the floor of the place.

Hope you like my proposal for a special wedding and I want to finish today’s post with my own reflection that I told you last night about what love means to me: love is not about just saying I LOVE YOU, is about show it every day, in small details, show the other person that is important in your life, practically necessary to your happiness, compromise. That’s just my point of view and what I think it should be.

Pijama Party!

El fin de semana pasado pasé una de las noches más divertidas junto a mis amigas gracias al Hotel Hilton de Madrid.

Con motivo del Día de la Mujer Trabajadora este prestigioso Hotel de Madrid decidió organizar una Pijama Party por todo lo alto conmigo como madrina del evento y con 8 amigas más.

Quiero hacer un inciso para desde aquí felicitar a todas las súper mujeres, las que trabajan y las que por uno u otro motivo ahora mismo no lo hacen pero lo habrán hecho en sus vidas. Gracias por haber contribuido a esta esperada igualdad con los hombres en el mercado laboral y en la sociedad en general.

Nada más llegar tuvimos dos clases muy diferentes que yo al menos no había probado hasta ahora: pilates en el agua y surf. Aunque yo creo que todas aprobamos por los pelos me he enganchado bastante y voy a seguir practicándolo… ya os contaré qué tal los resultados.

Después los estupendos profesores nos deleitaron con una exhibición impresionante en la piscina, con pétalos de rosas incluidos en el agua.

A continuación disfrutamos de una exquisita cena en la suite presidencial del Hotel (como podéis ver en las fotos y visteis en mis redes sociales no faltaba de nada) que acomodaron especialmente para nosotras, para que pudiésemos dormir todas juntas. Todas con pijamas de Vicky Bargallo a juego. Lo que pasó más tarde… mejor me lo reservo hehe, imaginaros a 8 mujeres solas en una habitación un viernes por la noche…

A la mañana siguiente gracias a Benefit tuvimos una tutorial de cómo maquillarnos para nuestro día a día. Me encantan todos los productos de esta firma, ya sabéis que los uso a diario porque siempre me lo preguntáis, y después de un lujoso desayuno nos fuimos todas muy guapas y renovadas a disfrutar de nuestro sábado.

Gracias al Hotel Hilton de Madrid, a Benefit y a mis súper amigas por haberme hecho disfrutar tanto de una noche tan especial.

Las weekend, on Friday, I spent one of the most funny nights with my closest friends thanks to Hilton Hotel in Madrid.

To celebrate the Working Women’s Day this prestigious Hotel of Madrid decided to organize a Pyjama Party cool event with me as ambassador of the event and with 8 friends of mine more.

First of all I want to congratulate all women in every country who work and also those that for one reason or another do not do it now but what I’m sure that they have done it in their lives. Thanks for contributing to this expected equality between men and women in the market but also in the society in general.

Continuing with the Party when we arrived we had two very different classes I at least had not tried before: pilates over the water and surf. Although I believe that all of us passed by a whisker I will continue practicing because I really enjoyed this sports… I’ll tell you how things will go.

After the great classes, the teachers delighted us with an impressive show at the pool with rose petals included in the water.

Then we enjoyed a delicious dinner in the presidential suite of the hotel (as you can see in the pictures and I told you on my social networks we had everything we wanted) that accommodated the room especially for us, so we could sleep all together. All of us dresses with Vicky Bargallo pijamas, so nice! What happened later… you can imagine, 8 women alone in a room on a Friday night… hehehe.

Next morning thanks to Benefit cosmetics we had a tutorial on how to make-up for our day to day. I love all the products of this brand, you know it because I tell you daily whenever you ask me about something, and after a delicious breakfast we were all very beautiful and renovated to enjoy our Saturday.

I want to thank specially to Hotel Hilton in Madrid, to Benefit cosmetics and to my super fiends for that cool night, I enjoyed it so much!

See you tomorrow with a new look!

Beauty Party!

¡Buenos días!

Como os prometí ayer aquí tenéis el post del divertidísimo evento de belleza que tuvimos ayer en la boutique de Benefit de la calle Ayala 19.

Quiero empezar agradeciendo a Marta, a todo su equipo y a todas las chicas de la tienda lo bien que nos trataron y lo simpáticas que son, ¡es un lujo tratar con gente así!

Aunque en el vídeo que dura más de 8 minutos y que podéis ver AQUÍ os cuento y os enseño todo lo que hicimos, el evento consistía en pasar un rato divertido con mis amigas a la vez que aprendíamos los mejores trucos a la hora de maquillarnos para cada ocasión y cómo cuidar nuestra piel. Todo el evento estuvo acompañado por unos deliciosos dulces y pasteles muy navideños y de bebidas y zumos de divertidos colores.

Realizamos unos tests para saber qué tipo de mujer somos y así comprobar qué perfume y productos son más acordes con nuestra personalidad, ¡increíble pero cierto!

Yo utilizo desde hace años muchos de sus productos al maquillarme a diario porque realmente me han dado buenos resultados y son aptos para todo tipo de pieles. Ya me contaréis qué es lo que más os gusta de la tienda.

Y para presentar este evento opté por unos jeans negros cortados con un jersey de estampado floral y mis salones con tachuelas.

Morning!

As I promised you yesterday here’s the post of the fabulous beauty event we had yesterday at Benefit boutique in 19 Ayala street.

I want to begin by thanking Marta, his entire team and all the girls in the store for the warm welcome and how good they treated us, it is really a luxe nowadays to find people like them!

Although in the video that lasts more than eight minutes and you can see HERE I tell you and show you everything we did, the event was to have a fun time with my friends while we were learning the best tricks to make-up for any occasion and how to take care of our skin. The whole event was accompanied by a delicious sweet and very Christmas cupcakes and juice drinks and pastries in funny colors.

We did some personal tests to find out what kind of woman we were so we can check out what perfume and products are more according with our personality, incredible but true!

I do admit that I’ve been using many of these products for years to makeup every day because they have really given me good results and are suitable for all skin types. Tell me what you like about the store when you visit it.

And for hosting this event I chose my black ripped jeans with a floral print sweater and my studded sandals.
