Popped by Men Fashion Week

Una vez más hemos vivido la semana de la moda para ellos con los nuevos diseños para la Primavera/Verano 2015 pero esta vez no ha sido como las anteriores… No se si ha sido porque El Corte Inglés se ha metido de por medio pero desde luego estos modelos tan guapos, altos y sobre todo simpáticos no son a lo que yo por lo menos estaba acostumbrada a ver en anteriores ediciones. Os dejo fotos con algunos de ellos y este fin de semana haremos un repaso de alguno de los desfiles que más me han gustado a mi, ¡así que estad atentos!

En las fotos salgo también con mi compi y amigo Carlos Arnelas que además es blogger oficial de ECI y con mi amigo Luis Yanes que sólo puedo decir que es un crack.

Como venía directa de una grabación para mis joyas favoritas, Ararat by Yanes, no me dio tiempo de cambiarme de ropa. Por lo tanto llevo un vestido color block en blanco y negro donde la falda es lisa y el cuerpo es de tirantes con pequeños volantes. Opté por mis sandalias de cordones en estampado de serpiente y cómo no por un anillo y una combinación de pulseras muy original mezclando brazaletes anchos con pulseras de tornillo. Como siempre un maxi bolso para poder meter todos mis imprescindibles del día a día.

Espero que paséis un buen día y fin de semana y mañana acordaros de revisar la sección de chico para conocer las nuevas propuestas de los diseñadores españoles de cara al verano que viene.

Once again we have attended the men fashion week with the new designs for the Spring/Summer 2015 but this time it has not been like the last year… I don’t know if it was because El Corte Inglés has gotten in between but of course these very handsome, tall and mostly friendly models are not what I was used to see in the last previous editions. I show you some pics with some of them and this weekend we will review some of the shows that I liked most, so stay tuned!

In the pics I’m also with my cool friend Carlos Arnelas who actually is an official blogger of ECI and my super friend Luis Yanes which I only can say that is a top.

As I came directly from a shooting with my favorite jewelry brand, Ararat by Yanes, I didn’t have time to change my clothes. So I was wearing a color block dress in black and white where the skirt is smooth and the body is a top with small wavelets. I chose my sandals with laces in snake print and how not a ring and these very original combination of bracelets in gold, silver, and rose gold. Always a maxi bag to bring with me my essentials for the day a day.

Cool friends lunch

¿Hay algo más divertido para alegrarnos la semana que una comida de mujeres GUAPAS para celebrar el Santo de una de ellas? Personalmente creo que no.

Ayer fue el día de la Virgen del Carmen, desde aquí os felicito a todas las Cármenes, y en especial a mi “madrina” Carmen Lomana que nos invitó a sus amigas más cercanas a una comida muy divertida. Y digo “madrina” porque es una persona que si la veis maravillosa por fuera por dentro lo es aún más. No se ha podido portar mejor conmigo desde que nos conocimos hace ya varios años y para mi aparte de ser un referentes es una confidente en este “mundo de lobos” como yo le llamo. La comida tuvo lugar en un céntrico restaurante de la capital, Bicoca, y entre langostinos, jamón “del bueno” y huevos rotos aparte de unos exquisitos segundos empezamos a repasar el actual panorama social español entre risas y con buen humor.

Yo para una comida de este tipo opté por un total white look: falda blanca de neopreno con lunares grabados (de Topshop de este verano), camisa blanca semitransparente (de Zara de temporada también) y mis tacones de serpiente con cordones (de las rebajas de Zara).

Is there anything more funny that to have lunch with BEAUTIFUL women to celebrate the day one of them? Personally I think that not.

Yesterday was the day of the Virgin Carmen, from here I congratulate all Carmen’s, and especially my “godmother” Carmen Lomana who invited her closest friends to a funny meal. And I say “godmother” because she is a person that if you see wonderful outside inside is even more. Since we met some years ago she’s been always taking care of me and she is my reference apart from being a good confident in this “world of wolves” as I call it. The lunch took place at a downtown restaurant in the capital, Bicoca and between prawns, good ham and broken eggs besides exquisite seconds plates we began to review the current Spanish social news between laughs and good humor.

For this special meal I opted for a total white look: white neoprene skirt with polka dot print (Topshop this summer), semi-transparent white shirt (Zara this season too) and my heels snakeskin with laces (Zara sales).

Bermuda day

¡Buenos días!

Hoy es un día muy largo pero importante para mi. En mi empresa de comunicación hemos organizado un evento muy divertido para uno de nuestros clientes, por eso comienzo el día desde bien pronto pero con mucha energía.

Y para estos días que seguimos sin saber si hace calor o frío he escogido esta vez unas bermudas. Ya sabéis que cada año me compro y rescato las que más me gustan porque me parecen una prenda elegante tanto para el día como para la noche. Por eso he combinado estas en color maquillaje con un crop top blanco de canapé y una camisa azul marino por encima. Las cuñas son otra de mis adquisiciones de rebajas y desde luego no me las quito estos días porque las llevo desde con vaqueros hasta con faldas, vestidos o shorts como hoy. ¡Son comodísimas! La cuña no es muy alta y al no llevar tacón la base es más ancha y se camina con más equilibrio.

Hi guys!

Today is a long but very important day to me. In my communication agency we have organized a communication a funny and cool event for one of our clients, so I started working from very early today but with a lot of energy.

And these days we still don’t know if it’s hot or cold (this crazy weather…) so this time I have chosen one of my bermudas. You know that I buy every year and rescue from my closet the ones I like most because I really think they are so stylish for both day and night. So I combined these make up color bermuda with a white crop top and a blue marine shirt above. Wedges are another of my purchases from sales and I’m wearing them almost everyday because they match everything: from jeans to skirts, dresses or shorts as today. They are so comfortable! The wedge is not too high and not wearing heel is better and more steady for walking.

Kimono style

¡Buenos días chicos!

Cómo me gusta añadir tanto a mi armario como a mis looks diarios prendas que sean originales y diferentes… Este verano me ha dado por la tendencia asiática. Si hace poco me veíais con un kaftán de flecos negro hoy os enseño este kimono de flores que me parece una prenda muy veraniega y combinable para casi cualquier situación.

La palabra kimono viene de Japón donde literalmente significa “cosa para vestir”. Aunque desde la antigüedad se ha utilizado por este área como prenda de vestir tanto para mujeres y hombres como para niños hemos visto una clara evolución en los diseños y una progresiva introducción en el mundo de la moda y en las nuevas colecciones.

Yo he escogido este en particular en blanco con flores porque me recuerda mucho a esta corriente asiática. Lo he combinado con prendas a juego con los colores del estampado: unos jeans rotos en verde caqui, unas cuñas en rosa palo y este clutch que es lo último en bolsos con estampado de naturaleza que ya le habréis podido ver a Ariadne Artiles o a su hermana Aída por ejemplo.

I always like to add to my closet some clothes that are original and different… This summer I’ve been following the Asian trend. If you recently saw me wearing a black fringed kaftan today I show you this floral kimono that seems like a very cool and combinable complement for almost any situation.

The word “kimono” comes from Japan which literally means “thing to wear.” Although it has been used in this area as the cloth to wear for men, women and children we have seen a clear evolution in the designs and the progressive introduction into the world of fashion and into the new collections.

I chose this particular one in white with pink flowers that reminds me of this Asian culture. I’ve combined it with clothes to match its print colors: a ripped pair of jeans in khaki green, soft pink wedges and this clutch which is the ultimate in cool prints bags with nature scene that you maybe have seen Ariadne Artiles or her sister Aida wearing it for example.

Sneaka freaka

¡Buenos días!

Me gustaría comenzar el post de hoy aclarando un tema que creo que hay algunas personas que no saben o que no tienen claro. Yo comencé este blog porque me encanta la moda y mostraros varias cosas: los looks y combinaciones de ropa que hago, mi forma de entender la moda, la gente que conozco, las firmas que descubro y con las que colaboro, las ciudades que visito, los restaurantes en los que como, pero sobre todo por “conoceros” virtualmente y cada vez que puedo hablar con vosotros (por las redes sociales más que por aquí). Pero yo, como supongo que vosotros, tengo vida aparte de esto. Es decir, me cuesta mucho esfuerzo mantener mi blog con mi trabajo en mi agencia de publicidad, muchas horas y no descanso ni los fines de semana, pero lo hago porque las dos cosas son mis pasiones. Os cuento todo esto porque en mi post de ayer de la colaboración que realicé con Nivea os decía a las 10 de la mañana que en ese link os daban muestras gratuitas. A las 16h volví a subir una foto contándolo y al parecer ya no lo daban pero evidentemente yo estaba en la oficina trabajando y no había comprobado si lo daban ya o se habían agotado. No es mentir, no es intentar conseguir seguidores (todavía no entiendo muy bien qué seguidores voy a conseguir por decir que os dan una muestra gratis de Nivea en su web) ni es maldad. Es simplemente algo que cuando publiqué el post si funcionaba y pensé en vosotros para que también lo probaseis. No se qué maldad puede haber en eso cuando yo ya tengo mis botes pero en fin…

Y vamos a lo nuestro que es analizar el look de hoy. Como me encantan las sneakers plateadas que me compré en mi último viaje a Milán (ya las he conseguido en doradas también hehe) me gusta buscar opciones que cuadren dentro de mi estilo con las que poder combinarlas. En esta ocasión me apetecía un outfit fresco pero con mucha luz, por eso escogí esta falda plisada blanca y una camisa vaquera sin mangas atada en la cintura a modo crop top. Opté por otro de mis maxi bolsos para poder llevar todo lo que necesito a diario. Accesorios simples y no llamativos: anillos finitos, reloj negro, y colgante con “m” de Marta.

¿Qué os parece el combinar una falda que en principio puede ser de un estilo más elegante con una camisa vaquera y sneakers?

I would like to start today’s post clarifying an issue that I think there are some people who do not know or they haven’t clear. I created this blog because I love many things around fashion world and I really enjoy showing you the looks and combinations of clothing that I do, how I understand this fashion world, the people I meet, the new brands that I discover and collaborate with, the cities I visit, the restaurants I like, but mostly for “meeting you” virtually and every time I talk to you (through my social networks more than here). But as you can imagine I have life apart from this. I mean, I can hardly keep my blog with my actual work in my advertising agency, I spend too many hours and no rest even on weekends, but I do the effort because both are my passions. I tell you all this because in yesterday’s post about my collaboration with Nivea I said at 10 am that through that link you can have free samples of the new Nivea body lotion. At 16h I shared a new pic telling it again but obviously from my office, I was working and had no time to check again if the promotion was still available. Not lying, not trying to get new followers (still I don’t understand why fans will follow me only for saying that the can get a free sample of Nivea at it website) not evil. It’s just something that when I published the post it worked and I thought of you so you can try them too. I mean I already have my own products at home…

And now let’s talk about what interest us, today’s look. As I’m totally in love with my silver sneakers that I bought in my last trip to Milan (and I also got in golden he he) I found options that fit with my style but that can also combine with them. This time I wanted a cool but bright outfit, so I chose this white pleated skirt and sleeveless denim shirt with a tieat the waist kind of crop top style. I chose one of my maxi bags again to carry everything I need for my day a day. Simple and not flashy accessories: thin rings, black vintage watch, and my “m” of Marta necklace.

Mustard+black

¡Buenos días a todos!

Como este fin de semana he podido tener un poco más de tiempo “libre” he aprovechado para poder enseñaros otro de mis looks de estos días. Ya que parece que no se terminan de ir las nubes y no llegan las altas temperaturas me parece una buena opción para salir por la noche combinar unos shorts con algún jersey fino, camisa o sudadera cool.

La verdad es que no he tenido tiempo de ir a las rebajas hasta el viernes… estoy tan liada entre semana que me ha sido imposible. Y no se si es por haber llegado tarde o porque no iba con “ojos de comprar” pero tampoco encontré mucha cosa… Una de las cosas que me compré porque creo que las voy a poder combinar bastante bien y además me encanta el diseño son estas sandalias en negro y mostaza. ¿Qué os parecen a vosotras? Entonces tuve que buscar algo a juego para salir por la noche. La combinación era bastante sencilla. Escogí unos shorts negros con ondas en el borde y botones dorados y mi jersey con escote en la espalda en color mostaza. Me parece un outfit sencillo pero con una mezcla de colores muy elegante. Como accesorios mi mini bolso bandolera mostaza a juego, mi brazalete dorado y mi anillo de labios rojos.

Espero que paséis buen día todos y que cojáis fuerzas para la nueva semana y los que estéis de vacaciones espero que las estéis disfrutando ¡mucho muuucho! (yo no me voy hasta el 1…).

Morning my friends!

This weekend I’ve had a little more “free” time for me so I’ve taken these pics to show you another of my looks from these days. As it seems that is not going to end the cloudy days and the high temperatures doesn’t arrive at all I though it was a good choice for a night out some black shorts combined with a thin sweater, shirt or cool sweatshirt.

The truth is that I haven’t had time to go to sales until Friday… I’ve been so busy that it has been impossible before. And I don’t know if it’s for being late or because I wasn’t wearing my “shopping eyes” but I didn’t find many things… One of my purchases was these super cool sandals that I bought because I believe that I will be able to combine them quite well and I also love the design of these black and mustard snake print sandals. Do you like them? Then I had to find something to suit them for a night out. The combination was quite simple. I chose a pair of black shorts with ripples on the edge and gold buttons and my mustard color backless jersey. It seems a simple outfit but the mix is so elegant. As complements my mini shoulder bag matching the mustard color, my gold bracelet and my red lips ring.

Ya estamos de lunes otra vez… pero vamos a empezar la semana con color y con alegría ¿no? Os enseño en el post de hoy el look que tanto os gustó el viernes cuando fui a visitar varios pop up de la capital.

Igual que me parece imprescindible tener en el fondo de armario un LBD opino lo mismo de los LWD. Un vestido blanco es un must y mucho más cuando es un modelo sencillo que sirve tanto para diario como para un cocktail o cena más arreglada. Este que llevo en las fotos es del año pasado pero sigue siendo uno de mis favoritos por todo: el diseño sin mangas y escote cerrado, el corte no muy corto pero por encima de la rodilla y la tela de plumeti que es de mis telas favoritas. En esta ocasión quise combinarlo con complementos muy hippies para darle un toque llamativo de color. Escogí mi nuevo bolso étnico multicolor con monedas plateadas, un cinturón de esparto de doble vuelta con flores, mis slippers de purpurina y un reloj de piel en color camel. Como joyas mis nuevos anillos finos que habréis visto algunos ya en mis redes sociales que me pienso poner a diario porque no me molestan y son muy cool y mi colgante con “m” de Marta. ¡Y mirad a qué amiguito me encontré por el camino hehe! <3

Monday again… but let’s start the week with color and happiness, ok? I show you in today’s post the look hat I was wearing last friday when I went to visit some pop ups in the capital and that you liked so much.

It is said that everyone should have in our closet an LBD and I think the same of LWD. A white dress is a must in a wardrobe and more when it is a basic model that you can use for both daily or even for a cocktail or dinner. I wore this one in the pictures which is from last year but still one of my favorites for everything: the sleeveless design and closed neckline, not too short but above the knee and plummet print which is one of my fav cloth. This time I wanted to combine it with very hippie accessories to give a striking touch of color. I chose my new multicolor ethnic bag with silver coins, a double belt with flowers, my glitter slippers and a watch in camel color. As jewelry my new thin rings rings that you have already seen on my social networks and I love to wear daily because they don’t bother me and are very cool and my new necklace with “M” from Marta. And take a look to my new friend that I met during my stroll hehe <3

Summer scarfs

Llega tarde, ¡pero llega! En el videoshopping de esta semana os muestro un complemento muy veraniego y que opino que puede cambiar cualquier look: los pañuelos. Como siempre os traigo varias opciones tanto para las más clásicas como para las que os atrevéis con detalles y estampados más llamativos. Aparte tener un precio muy asequible, ¿no creéis que llevar un pañuelo por los hombros o al cuello puede hacer que cualquier outfit se vea completamente diferente? Yo en esta ocasión escogí varios estilismos sencillos y creo que con este complemento conseguí ese toque veraniego y de color que andaba buscando.

Maybe too late, but it’s here! In this week videoshopping I show you a very summer complement that I think that can change any look: scarfs. As always I bring you some options for both kinds the classic ones and for the others that dare with more details and colorful prints. Besides having a very affordable price, don’t you think that wearing a scarf around the shoulders or the neck can make any outfit looks completely different? This time I chose a pair of simple outfits and I think this accessory got that summer color and touch that I was looking for.

Taupe

Color topo (o taupe en inglés). Dícese del color que hace referencia al pelaje entre gris y marrón de este pequeño mamífero. A mi personalmente me parece un color muy neutro y fácil de combinar con cualquier estampado o color. Aunque las últimas temporadas lo hemos visto en piezas como botines, gabardinas, e incluso pantalones también es el color más utilizado en belleza. En maquillaje todo el mundo habla del color topo y de cómo conseguir un rostro natural con él. Además en decoración es el color más escogido por excelencia en todas sus tonalidades tanto para complementos del hogar como para el propio color de puertas y paredes.

Yo hoy he escogido un look muy veraniego para salir una noche de verano aunque si cambiamos las sandalias mules por un zapato plano también puede servirnos para el día. Me gustaron estos pantalones slim fit con pequeñas cremalleras abajo en los laterales porque se ajustan al cuerpo y creo que estilizan las piernas y las curvas. Al ver este crop top de lunares en el mismo tono que el pantalón no me quedó más remedio que comprarlo también para poder combinarlo junto hehe. Como abrigo opté por una camisa vaquera que ya sabéis que por la noche refresca un poco. Las mules que dan ese toque más sofisticado y más aún cuando es para salir por la noche. Mi clutch transparente para no mezclar más colores ni estampados ya que buscaba que no le quitase el protagonismo al resto del estilismo.

¡Y ya es viernes otra vez! Esta semana se me ha pasado volando… ¡ahora a disfrutar del finde!

Taupe color. It refers to the fur color between gray and brown of that kind of small mammal. I personally think that it is a very neutral and easy color that you can easily combine with any print or color. Although the last few seasons we have seen in it in many pieces such as booties, trenches, pants and so this color is also famous in beauty. In Makeup everyone speaks of taupe and how to get a natural face with it. Also in deco is the color most chosen by excellence in all shades for both home accessories or to color doors and walls.

Today I’ve chosen a very summer look for a summer night out but if you change the mules sandals for flat shoes you can also wear it for the day. I liked these slim fit kinda pants with small zippers down the sides because I think that they stylized the legs and curves of our body. When I saw this dotted crop top with the dots in the same taupe color I had no choice but to buy it to combine it with the pants hehe. For the night I opted for a denim shirt because you know that at night it’s a little bite cooler. The mules sandals give always the sophisticated touch, especially when it is for a night out. My transparent clutch to avoid adding more colors and prints to the outfit.

Flat sandals

Ya sabéis que mi opción favorita a la hora de salir a la calle tanto en verano como en invierno es con un zapato plano que sea cómodo y elegante. La ventaja del verano es que los podemos llevar tanto cerrados como abiertos y así tenemos más opciones. En el videoshopping de esta semana os traigo los tres modelos que más me han gustado a mi y que como veis puedo combinar con cualquier outfit y para cualquier momento del día.

You already know that I’m a big fan of the flats in summer time but also in winter. It always has to be a comfy and elegant shoe. The advantage of the summer is that you can wear both: closed shoes or sandals.
