Jumpsuits turn

¡Menuda fiesta más bonita y divertida que viví anoche! Con motivo de la unión entre el centro estético al que yo voy, Tacha, y el Instituto Javier de Benito, se realizó un cocktail muy especial en el Consulado Italiano de Madrid.

Evidentemente no faltó ni una de las celebrities más asiduas a este centro de belleza, y me hizo especial ilusión poder hablar por fin en persona con Paula Echevarría, como visteis en mi Snapchat, ya que es aún más simpática.

Como siempre os cuento mi vida y mis pensamientos, sólo quiero advertiros un día más del cuidado con el que tenemos que ir por la vida… La gente que de verdad quiera estar en nuestro entorno cercano y gozar de nuestra plena confianza, tienen que currárselo. Porque hay personas que no se muy bien si deliberadamente o no, pero se acercan poco a poco y creemos que son amigos de verdad, hasta que cuando tenemos un verdadero problema “se esfuman”. También me toca vivir y lidiar en primera persona con gente que cree que esto de ser “blogger” es fácil y que se consigue de la noche a la mañana… y evidentemente no es así. No todo es tener una cara y cuerpo bonito. Hay que trabajar muy duro, durante días, meses y años, para poder empezar, y digo sólo empezar, a cumplir nuestros sueños. Y como os digo siempre lo más importante es hacerlo con la conciencia tranquila y sin intentar copiar los actos o el trabajo de otros, sino siendo uno mismo ya que todos somos únicos e imitar a otra persona no es sostenible a largo plazo.

Os dejo con uno de los looks por el que más me habéis preguntado. La semana pasada lo llevé con camiseta blanca debajo y hoy os lo enseño con un jersey finito gris y mis nuevos blucher con plataforma que ¡me encantan!

What a fun and beautiful party I enjoyed last night! The event was to celebrate the union between the beauty center where I go, Tacha, and Javier de Benito Institute, and they organised a special cocktail at the Italian Consulate in Madrid.

Obviously many celebrities that usually go to this beauty center came, and made me a special pleasure to finally speak in person with Paula Echevarría, Spanish actress, as you saw on my Snapchat, which is super nice and beautiful.

As always I want to share with you my life and my thoughts, and I just want to tell you one more day to take care with the people around you… People who really wants to be in our lives and enjoy our full confidence, they have to probe it. Because there are people that I don’t know if consciously or not, but gradually approach to us and we believe they are true friends, but when we have a real problem they just “disappear”. I also have to live and deal in person daily with people who believe that this work, to be “blogger”, is easy and you can do it in one day… and obviously it’s far away from reality. Not everything in life is having a pretty face and body. You have to work very hard, for days, months and years, to begin, and I say only begin, to fulfill your dreams. And as I always say the most important thing is to do it with a clear mind and without trying to copy the acts or the work of others, but being always yourself as we all are unique persons, and to imitate someone else is not sustainable in the long term.

I leave you now with one of the looks that you have asked me about. Last week I wore this black jumpsuit with a white shirt underneath and today I show you it with a thin gray jersey and my new blucher with platform that I really love!

Toro’s waterfall

Tercer día en Costa Rica y cómo no otro día lleno de aventuras y nuevas experiencias.

Lo primero que hicimos fue visitar un pequeño pueblecito llamado Zarcero de camino a las cataratas del Río Toro. Lo que más me gustó fue esta Iglesia que aunque parezca de ladrillo, es de madera completamente y también este laberinto de pequeños setos en forma de arcos. Me pareció algo muy original que quería enseñaros.

A continuación nos dirigimos a unas de las cataratas más importantes del país que son las del río Toro. En estas en concreto no nos podemos bañar ya que el agua proviene de un volcán y de hecho en la parte de abajo de la cascada no se debe estar más de 15 minutos porque pican los ojos y también es malo para los pulmones. Aún así como podéis ver en las fotos, la experiencia de caminar casi un kilómetro cuesta abajo y luego otro de subida, y disfrutar de esta espectacular vista, a mi me mereció la pena 100%.

Después comimos en el restaurante de arriba, con vistas a toda la montaña y río y luego hicimos un par de últimas paradas. Una en una plantación enorme de piñas (mi fruta favorita) donde nos dieron los consejos para saber identificar las mejores piñas: tienen que ser redondas, amarillas por arriba y verdes por abajo y los rombos de la corteza tienen que ser lo más grandes posibles. Esas son las más sabrosas. Por último paramos en una bonita iglesia local y yo aproveché también para hacer fotos a algunas de las casas más típicas del país. Insisto en lo amable y feliz que es la gente aquí… es algo que como siempre me da mucha envidia sana a la vez que me fascina.

Un día más me han vuelto a dar las 12 de la noche y aquí estoy mano a mano con Mónica, pero me despido ya porque nos despertamos a las 5am mañana para visitar las aguas termales, ¡qué ganas de contaros todo!

Third day in Costa Rica and of course another day full of adventures and new experiences.

The first thing we did was to visit a small village called Zarcero on our way to Toro’s river waterfall. What I liked in this little village was this church that although it seems to have been made with brick is completely wooden and look at this labyrinth of small tree bridges. I found it something very original that I wanted to show you.

Then we went to one of the most important waterfalls of the country that come from Toro’s River. In these ones in particular you can not get inside because the water comes from a volcano and in fact in the bottom of the waterfall you should not stay more than 15 minutes because the water can hurt your eyes and it is also bad for the lungs. But of course as you can see in the pictures, the experience of walking about a kilometer downhill and then the same way climbing up, and to enjoy this spectacular view, it’s absolutely worth going and seeing.

After this we had lunch in the restaurant at the top, overlooking the entire mountain and river and then we made a couple of final stops. One in a huge pineapple plantation (my favorite fruit) where we got the tips to know how to identify the best pineapples: they have to be round, yellow above and green below and the small rinds have to be as big as possible. Those are the tastiest. Finally we stopped at a nice local church and I also took the opportunity to take pictures of some of the most typical houses of the country. I want to highlight again how friendly and happy people are here… it is something that always fascinates me and makes me envy them.

One more day it’s again 12 at night and here I am hand to hand with my friend Monica, but I leave you now because we will wake up tomorrow at 5am in the morning to visit the thermal lakes, can’t wait to show you all!

Tennis

Uno de los acontecimientos más importantes de nuestro país en lo que a tenis se refiere, si no el más importante, es el Open de Tenis.

La ya mundialmente conocida Caja Mágica de Madrid se convierte en el centro de todas las miradas y los 50 mejores jugadores de tenis del mundo, tanto hombres como mujeres, se dan cita en este recinto para disputar partidos llenos de emoción y tensión. Evidentemente como detrás de todo buen espectáculo estos días son numerosos los rostros conocidos que se dejan ver por allí, y yo no quise perderme el comienzo de esta semana tan importante. Varias marcas son las que patrocinan este Master de tenis, entre ellas Estrella Damm que es con la que yo fui el sábado pasado. Como sabréis me acompañaron mi hermana y mi amiga Isa y la verdad es que nos lo pasamos genial, es un plan diferente y me gusta siempre que puedo apoyar el deporte español ya que además yo jugué al tenis varios años en el cole.

¿Cómo vestirse para ir al Open? La verdad es que como en todas partes hay de todo, y todo vale. Pero mi consejo es que podemos ir perfectos con unos vaqueros y deportivas pero entonces yo me pondría una blazer o camisa arriba, o bien elegir un look más casual con jeans, camiseta y chaqueta militar como hice yo y dar el toque más arreglado con unas sandalias. Esto es a elección del estilo de cada uno.

A disfrutar del Lunes los que estéis de puente y los que tengáis que trabajar como yo, mucho ánimo y recordad que nos vemos esta noche a las 23:30h en el canal 23 de Movistar Plus hablando de más música…

One of the most important events in our city as far as tennis is concerned, probably the most important, is the Tennis Open.

The now worldwide famous “Magic Box” of Madrid becomes the center of attention and the top 50 tennis players in the world, both men and women, have a meeting here to play games full of excitement and tension. Obviously behind every good and important show are many celebrities that pop by, and I did not want to miss the beginning of this important either. There are many brands sponsoring this Master of tennis, including Estrella Damm which I went with last Saturday. As you know I went with my sister and my friend Isa and the truth is that we had a great time, it is a different plan and I always like to support our Spanish athletes. Also you know that I played tennis many years at the school when I was younger.

How to dress for the Tennis Open? The truth is that you can dress like you want. But in my opinion you can go perfect with jeans and sneakers but then wearing a blazer or shirt on top, or choose a more casual look with jeans, t-shirt and military jacket as I did and give the more elegant touch with a pair of sandals or wedges. This is a choice of your own style.

So, for those of you who have holidays today enjoy them, and the ones who are working like me let’s do this and don’t forget to always be awesome and smile. Don’t forget also that we have a date tonight at 23:30h on the 23rd channel of Plus Movistar talking about the last top songs.

Unexpected

La vida es una cuestión de actitud… ¿o no?

Creo que todo puede cambiar completamente según miremos las cosas desde un punto de vista más positivo, viendo la botella medio llena.

Personalmente una de las cosas que más me gustan de mi vida son las cosas que no me espero, lo que sucede inesperadamente. Ya sea bueno o malo, de lo malo aprendo y lo bueno lo disfruto al máximo. Creo que esa cierta incertidumbre por no saber qué va a pasar con una situación determinada, por no saber qué nuevos proyectos me llegarán cada día, a quién conoceré y se convertirá en parte de mi vida… eso es lo que me mantiene viva y feliz.

Dicho esto ya estamos a Viernes y aunque ha sido una semana larga e intensa parece que el finde voy a poder disfrutar un poquito de cosas que me gustan. Como sabéis no me fui al final a Marbella porque iba a hacer mal tiempo y he preferido trabajar desde Madrid antes de irme a las Américas de nuevo el lunes que viene, día 9. Así que este finde lo voy a pasar con mis amigos y mañana a los que estéis por el Master de tenis me encantará conoceros.

Life is attitude… don’t you think so?

I think everything can completely change depending on the way we look at things from a more positive view, seeing the glass half full. It all depends on our attitude.

Personally one of the things I like most about my life are things that I do not expect, what happens unexpectedly. Whatever happen to us, good or bad, you can learn from the bad things and enjoy the good ones. I think that not knowing what will happen to us, what will happen with a particular situation, what new projects will arrive every day, who we will know and become part of our lives… that’s what keeps us alive and happy.

Said this, it is already Friday and although it has been a long and intense week it seems that I will enjoy weekend and will be able to enjoy some things that I really like. As you know finally I din’t went to Marbella because it would be bad weather and I preferred to work from Madrid, from home, before going to the Americas again next Monday, the 9th. So this weekend I’ll spend with my friends and tomorrow I will be happy to meet the ones of you that will be by the Master of tennis here in Madrid, come to say hi!

Boston bag

Esta semana os traigo en mi videoshopping el Boston Bag que siempre hemos soñado tener… pero a un precio más económico. He escogido estos dos modelos en azul y naranja porque me parecieron los más combinables con nuestra ropa de verano pero también creo que aportarían color a nuestros estilismos en invierno.

Aparte de ser grandes para que nos quepa todo lo que llevamos en nuestro día a día, tienen varios compartimentos tanto por fuera como por dentro para llevar las cosas que queremos tener más a mano (como el móvil, las llaves o la cartera). Están fabricados en 3 colores y en piel y ante. Yo os propongo varios looks para combinarlos pero ya sabéis que lo mejor es que vosotras mismas los probéis en vuestra casa con vuestra ropa y echéis a volar vuestra imaginación hehe.

This week I bring you in my new videoshopping the Boston Bag that we’ve always dreamed of… but at a lower price hehe. I have chosen these two models in blue and orange because I think that are the most combinable ones with our summer clothes but I also believe that they will give a color touch to our winter outfits.

Aside from being big to carry everything we need in our day, they have many other compartments both outside and inside to bring the things we want to keep at hand (such as phone, keys or wallet). They are made in 3 colors and in leather and velvet. I propose you some looks but you know that the best way is to try them at home with your clothes and letting fly your imagination!
