Oversized lover!

IMG_9691

¡Hola hola!

M.C.

Hi there!

Have ever happened to you that you wake up a little more “puffy” than normal (for the terrible dinner of the day before or the women in our ‘days’ of the month)? To me in those days I like to feel comfortable to continue with my working mood and the best choice is always to choose oversize clothing in which we feel comfortable.

This maxi trench from last season (you know that is my favourite) always ends up being a good choice when I don’t know what to wear to get warm. The oversize sweaters are back stronger than ever for this season and I love it because I have them in many colors and simply styled with tights and boots a flat shoe we will get an effective and modern look. And once again I opted for a hat as an essential complement to my daily style because they are an elegant accessory and add a fun touch to these gray days.

And let’s rock the Thursday! I have a complete press day with many events and presentations of the new collections… I will tell you everything on my social networks so stay tuned! (@itgirlmarta).

Plentzia, Bizkaia

IMG_9208

Menudo lunes…

What a Monday I’m having… After I spent the first 3 hours of the morningg in the Apple store at Puerta del Sol in Madrid with a problem on my computer and I can finally publish today’s post… but hey, better late than ever, don’t you think so?

As many of you know I have spent this last weekend in the north of Spain, specifically in País Vasco discovering the countless villages and beautiful mountain areas that I had not the opportunity to visit them before. The first day we slept in Plentzia, a small coast town which is where I took all these pictures. As I like to sleep few hours to can do more things in my days we wake up early and we went to stroll around until the lighthouse and a small mountain to enjoy better views.

We have been very lucky because temperatures have remained high and the sky cleared up until yesterday, so for this morning walk I chose a long beige wool jacket, a black basic tee, skinny ripped jeans and my new cowboy boots with my love, I wear them for any occasion! Do you like them?

I hope your Monday is going better than mine and see you tomorrow with a pre-winter look at the city.

XO,

M.C.

ROUGE!!!

IMG_7617

Besos,

M.C.

ALL IN REDS!

That’s exactly what I said when I saw this red shoulder bag with golden studs that has become my new “baby” and my fancy this month, what do you think about it? As you know it is part of the new Valentino collection and although there are many other cool colors I thought that what better to start than with the super famous “red valentino” color, don’t you think so? I think it’s the perfect complement to give a touch of color to any autumn day and also to any winter look.

This time I have combined this cool bag with an oversize gray sweatshirt with Coca-Cola message so the letters matches the color of the clutch but also my lips that I’ve painted once again with this tone (I know I know that I’m quite fond of it, hehehe). And I’ve rescue from my closet my black leather leggings that surely you will see that they are a must to me in winter time because of  the warm and comfortable they are. Since the rain seems to be here to stay I opted for two essential items for this kinda’ days: a pair of wells and an XL beige trench.

Hope you have a good sunday and get ready for a new week!

These boots are made for… everything!

Of course you know that the most comfortable shoes for fall and winter time are boots, so what do you think about these Neon Boots in so different colors and prints?  You can find many other models and colors ant their website.  Also just today your will get a special discount on your purchase only buying through Lusstra.

I have proposed you three looks but I’m sure that you are thinking of many others. For example, to go for a relaxing walk around they are perfect in navy blue and golden details with a pair of jeans and an oversize sweater. For working day my alternative is a black lingerie-style skirt with a white shirt. The boots will break with the seriousness of the styling. Finally I choose another time some leather clothes when I want to go to an important event so you can choose some leather leggings, skirt or a dress like this  because you will always give a rocker and modern touch whith them.

Enjoy today’s videoshopping and see you next week!

I just can’t get enough of b&w

IMG_6702

¡Me encantan!

M.C.

New week and I just can’t get enough of my favorite combination of colors: black and white. It is true that I could perfectly have combined each of the clothes of today’s look with other colors but when I try them together at the end is the mix I like most.

Another thing I like about autumn and I’m pretty sure that you have already seen on my social networks are the chestnuts. I love them! I really like going to the parks and see them all around on the ground with the leaves that are falling but mostly I like to eat them, ha ha ha. Whenever I walk down the street in any European city and I see a chestnut kiosk I can’t avoid the temptation to buy a cone with some chestnuts, wouldn’t it happen to you?

And this is a daily look for these days of change of season that we are experiencing. Now we must begin to take shelter a little more and that’s why I wear a black long sleeve sweater with small silver studs. I put on my white denim overall skirt style on top which I already told you I’m planning to wear in summer and in winter time with sweaters or shirts and socks. But yet we can still go with bare legs so I opted this time for my new black leather boots with laces and I wore gray socks. As accessories a black clock and my infinite silver bracelets with my black leather bag with gold chain. What do you think about this outfit to start a new week?

Let’s rock the monday my friends!

Hunter hunted!

IMG_6478

¡Cazador cazado!

Hoy he rescatado mis botas de agua y mi gabardina XL. Dream Big. Be Grateful. Give Love. Laugh Lots.” (Vivid sencillamente. Soñad a lo grande. Sed agradecidos. Dad amor. Reid mucho).

M.C.

Hunter hunted! I haven’t thought of a better title for today’s post since it seems that autumn is already coming and I’m getting the ‘heavy artillery’ out of my closet… Besides that defines pretty well the clothes I wear, wearing this cool t-shirt with the legendary Disney character Bambi makes me to remember how I cried when hunters of this cartoon movie killed his mother… I’m sure many of you felt the same way, didn’t you? I really had a hard time watching this film!

Today I’ve rescued from my wardrobe my wells (water booties) and my XL raincoat. As temperatures have not yet dropped dramatically ’cause we are still in September and I personally  don’t want to dress so warm yet, I chose to wear my rainy boots in olive green color and my extra long trench in gray (which in fact is one of my favs for this season) with a pair of denim shorts and my new Bambi tee. You know that I love t-shirts with messages and this one can’t say it more clearly: “Live Simply. Dream Big. Be Grateful. Give Love. Laugh Lots.”. These 5 simple and short sentences perfectly explain what we all should do every day with our own lives. To complete the fall look I chose to wear my brown hat with feathers details following the ‘hunter’ style of the outfit. If you like my water booties you can buy them cheaper HERE.

What do you think about this autumn look for a rainy day?

Big Kiss!

Rock ‘n’ Rolla

IMG_5799

Me puse unos calcetines cortos grises debajo a juego.

M.C.

There are Mondays… and Mondays.  Whenever I have the opportunity to escape from the city the weekend, Mondays really have another taste. This weekend I wentto the beach just for 48 hours to disconnect a bit from the busy days I’ve had and the truth is that it has been pretty good to me and I’m full of energy today.

On Saturday (as surely some of you saw on my social networks) I could go to the beach to sunbathe some hours because the weather was good until the afternoon… On Sunday the weather got worst but being a coastal climate is never as cold as inside the country, so I took the opportunity to go for a last walk by the sea before coming back to the capital, Madrid.

Since I bought these modern black leather boots (I recommend you to choose ones because they are a must this winter in any wardrobe) I have thought infinity of possible combinations with them, but I had not yet had the chance to wear them for the firsr time… until yesterday. I brought them with me to finally could wear them because if weather allowed me I’d do it. The option I chose as the first look with these booties was this floral dress in gray and white. I wore gray also socks underneath matching the cloth. The most rocker touch came with the black leather jacket and the black leather belt with silver buckle and details. I also chose my maxi glasses and some silver bracelets and thin rings.

What do you think about this autumnal look mixing this lady style dress with the rocker touch of the  leather and booties?

Let’s go with the Monday!

M.C.

Morning #itfamily !!

Yesterday was the last day of the fashion week in Madrid and I attended two fashion shows: Hanibal Laguna and Dolores Cortés. Hanibal continues on its line of vaporous clothes that suggest the female body with pastel colors and beautiful designs. Dolores Cortés’ bikinis for next summer season were colorful and mixed with leather and asymmetrical shapes. Tomorrow I will publish a special post telling you everything about my last Sunday when I attended Duyos and Rabaneda fashion show and I had the opportunity of interview Juan Duyos just minutes before jumping into the catwalk.

When I saw this shirt/dress for the first time I really didn’t know how to wear it: as a t-shirt or as a dress?. At first time I thought it might be too bold to not wearing it with a pair of shorts or jeans underneath but this weekend I decided to do it because the sides weren’t as opened as they seemed when walking. As it is gray-blue color I chose my color blocked hat  in navy blue and black and I  opted for my black booties in the same color line. Accessories? My mini black handbag with gold chain, a pair of black sunglasses and my collection of colorful bracelets with different charms. Do you like them?

Would you say that this look is more daring than others?

See u tomorrow!

Hello summer!!!

IMG_0315

Hello summer!

Hello summer!

I wanted to name today’s post like this because this last saturday started officially summer season which is that moment of the year where we have all in more dosis: more heat, more sun, more free days and holidays, we eat and drink more… the only thing we do less is to wear less clothes hehe.

Honestly, it’s a must to have a lbd on your closet for any occasion and the same way it’s necessary to have a white dress for the summer time to go to the office or to go out at night. It’s true that white dresses suit better when you are tanned but if you combined them with the perfect complements you will have a cool look without having sunbathed yet.

I have discovered a new online store where I’ve found many clothes that match with my style, Nouvelle Èpoque and with really good prices. I fall in love with this lace dress in white that I show you today. Do you like it? As I’ve been in the beach this long weekend I wore it for a dinner night. I combined it with my gray suede booties to give a hippie style this time. I was wearing my XXXX clutch with details in pastel colors and as you know that I don’t use to wear jewelry even necklaces I opted once again for my gold maxi bracelet to give the look the elegant and sophisticated touch.

Hope you have a good monday and a good beginning of the week, lots of kisses!

Belgium: Bruges and Ghent

IMG_9456

Y vosotros, ¿Ya conocíais Brujas y Gante?

Good morning!

It’s Thursday and tomorrow friday and time for another sunny weekend, yiha!

Here you have a SUPER post with many pics of the two most wonderful cities of Belgium (to me): Bruges and Ghent.

Bruges is about an hour by train from Brussels Central Station. The ticket costs €8 per person (I got 50% off because of a  weekend discount). It’s a very charming city with all those small canals, in the middle of the countryside, with many big universities, squares with restaurants,… It’s a very touristy place with cobblestone streets and low houses where people are really friendly.

Ghent is similar but I have to admit that I liked it so much and for sure I’ll come back to visit it more days. It’s about a half an hour from the Brussels Central Station and the ticket costs about €10. It’s a city full of big canals and where all the buildings are different: in colors, materials, design… Of course they have the roof peak because of the rains. It really has many interesting stories because actually Carlos I was there in his castle with some of his girlfriends. It seems that the houses are made of paper and if you touch them they fall. Both colorful and everything in such good condition really fascinated me.

If you don’t have many days to visit Belgium don’t worry because you can perfectly visit Bruges and Ghent in the same day, going in the morning to Bruges which is further and making a stop in Ghent when you come back, you will have time to visit the main places of both cities.

And for this complete excursion day I chose my ripped black jeans combined with a summer style floral print shirt. The gray suede boots to go comfortably around the parks and  cobblestone streets and they gave the look a more modern touch.

And you, do you already know Bruges and Ghent?
