¡Y seguimos con la tendencia de lunares! Que se vuelven a llevar es un hecho. Los hemos visto en camisetas, bikinis, shorts, bolsos y complementos… y hoy os los traigo estampados en mi vestido.

Me gusta este vestido porque es muy cómodo para el verano y con un tacón o sandalia y un clutch elegante también se puede poner para salir por la noche, ¿no? En esta ocasión lo he combinado con mis slippers plateadas de glitter para el día y mi maxi bolso negro. El toque de color lo conseguí con el color rojo de uñas, un poco de gloss rosa en los labios y el reloj XL en blanco con detalles en color pastel.

And we continue with the trend of polka dots! They are on fashion, that’s a fact. We have seen them printed in shirts, bikinis, shorts, handbags and accessories… and today I bring you this dotted dress.

I liked this dress because it’s very comfortable for summer and with heels or sandals and an elegant clutch you can also wear it for a night out, don’t you think so? This time I combined them with my silver glitter slippers for the day and my black maxi bag. I got the color touch with the red polish, some pink gloss and my XL watch in white with pastel details.

¡Buenos días desde el hospital! Todo ha salido fenomenal y me darán el alta a lo largo del día así que ya me voy a casa y me veréis haciendo de las mías dentro de poco hehe. ¿Cómo va vuestra semana?

Hoy vuele un look con sombrero que me gustan mucho para diario y además me protegen del sol. Como lo que tenía claro es que quería ponerme este sombrero de estilo boho chic lo que hice es ir completando el look con los complementos y ropa adecuados. Yo muchas veces suelo vestirme así: escojo algo que me guste mucho y voy completando el estilismo en torno a eso. Por eso en esta ocasión he optado por una camiseta de estilo hippie con estampado de gato de colores y plumas de indio. Como parte de abajo rescaté mis shorts vaqueros con tachuelas plateadas y por eso escogí luego mis sneakers plateadas para seguir con la tendencia de un look boho. El bolso de estampado étnico y detalles de monedas en plata también es otro toque hippie y de color al estilismo. ¿Qué os parece a vosotros?

Good morning from the hospital! Everything went great and I will be discharged during the day so I’ll arrive home soon and you will see me perfect for the next week. How’s going your week?

Today I show you a look that I like for everyday because of the hat which also protects me from the sun. As to me it was clear that I wanted to wear this Boho chic style hat I tried to complete the look with accessories and mix of clothing. I usually do this many times: choose something I like a lot to wear and then completing the styling around that. So this time I opted for a hippie style t-shirt with cat print and colorful Indian feathers. I also have rescued my shorts jeans with silver studs and then I chose my silver sneakers to continue the trend of a boho look. Ethnic print bag with that silver coins as details is another hippie styling and color touch. What you think about the boho chic trend?

¡Hola hola!

El post de hoy es muy mañanero porque estoy entrando en el hospital ahora mismo. No os preocupéis porque como os comenté no es nada grave pero voy a estar un poco desconectada estos días… aunque intentaré que lo notéis lo menos posible.

Una vez más vuelvo a escoger mi mezcla favorita de colores, el blanco y el negro, como protagonistas de mi look. Como por las mañanas hace un poco de aire y más ayer que tuve que salir muy pronto de casa para un shooting, opté por ponerme una camisa de manga larga de cuadros blancos y negros que acabé subiéndome hasta el medio brazo. Unos cómodos jeans blancos como parte de abajo y para dar algo de altura y estilizar un poco la figura escogí mis mules, son las cuñas más cómodas que tengo porque no van atadas al pie y el tacón es ancho y no muy alto. El toque más lady vino de la mano de esta nueva pamela que no me voy a quitar este verano no sólo por el diseño tan chic sino porque me encanta que sea en b&w. Opté de nuevo por mis brazaletes XL de infinito en plata, unos anillos finos y un maxi bolso en negro.

Hi there!

I’ve published today’s post very early because I’m going to the hospital right now. Don’t worry because as I told you it’s nothing serious but I’ll be a little bit disconnected these few coming days… but I’ll try to be as active as possible.

Once again I chose my favorite colors mix, black and white, as protagonists of my look. As in the early morning the weather is still cold yesterday I had to go to work soon for a shooting so I was wearing a checkered shirt long sleeve in black and white that I ended up twinning until the middle arm. A pair of white comfy jeans and to give some height and some styling I chose my mules, my fav wedges which are the most comfortable I have because I don’t go tired because the heel is wide and not very high. The lady touch came from the hand of this new maxi hat that surely I will bring with me this summer; I love it not only for the chic design but because I like the b&w mix. I wore once again my XL infinity bracelets in silver, some thin rings and a black maxi bag.

Stripes over lace

¡Buenos días!

Nueva semana y como ya os he comentado la mía va a ser bastante completita, pero la superaré hehe.

Como estos días está haciendo un tiempo que ni mucho menos es el esperado en esta época del año yo he optado por llevar lago de manga larga combinado con shorts ya que en realidad ¡estamos en verano! Por eso combiné mi camiseta oversize de rayas azul marino y blancas con unos shorts negros con encaje en el borde. Como era una tarde de paseo me puse mis bailarinas color block en blanco y negro y mi maxi bolso negro para, como siempre, poder llevar todos mis must diarios. En esta ocasión opté por llevar una única joya pero que se lleva toda la atención del look: este maxi anillo de diamantes. Unas gafas de sol negras y un reloj estilo vintage también en negro completaron el outfit.

Muchas veces pensamos que combinar distintos estampados, colores que “aparentemente” no pegan o texturas completamente diferentes no es estiloso pero hoy como veis he decidido mezclar tanto rayas marineras con encaje como el azul marino con el negro, y el resultado me ha gustado, ¿a vosotros qué os parece?

Morning!

New week and a very busy one for me… but I’ll do it! hehe.

As these days the weather hasn’t been the expected for this season of the year I have chosen to wear long-sleeved shirt combined with shorts because actually it’s summer time! So I wore my oversize striped shirt in navy blue and white with a pair of black shorts with lace on the edge. It was an afternoon stroll so I chose my color block flats in black and white and my black maxi bag for, as always, bring with me all my daily musts. This time I decided to take a unique jewel but it gets all the attention of the look: this maxi diamonds ring. My black leather sunglasses and a vintage style watch in black completed the outfit.

Many times we think that combining different prints, colors that “apparently” don’t match or completely different textures is not fashionable but today as you can see I decided to mix both sailor stripes style with black lace and I really like the result, don’t you?

Mirto SS’15

Modelos semi desnudos, patrones a medias, piezas sin cosas de camisas, cintas métricas… así comenzó el desfile de Mirto para mostrarnos las propuestas del verano que viene. Claro que poco a poco los diseños fueron cogiendo fuerza y terminaron en trajes perfectos a medida, camisas, incluso ropa interior y pijamas para dormir.

Tengo que reconocer que de este desfile hay dos cosas que me llamaron la atención. La primera es ver (y aseguraría que por primera vez) a hombres “mayores” desfilando. Me parece una idea muy buena porque en realidad esta ropa es para hombres de todas las edades y cuerpos, no sólo para los modelos que salen en las pasarelas. Además he de reconocer que estos señores que desfilaron lo hicieron bastante bien. Otra cosa que me llamó la atención de este desfile y que tampoco creo que haber visto antes es que uno de los modelos apareció en bici, si si, ¡una bici en el catwalk! Increíble pero fue un momento muy divertido ya que además era un modelo muy alegre y gracioso.

Mirto apuesta por coloridos cuadros y rayas siempre dentro de su elegante línea y estilo. Incluso se atrevió a introducir camisones para chico, algo también poco común en la ropa para ellos, pero algo que yo valoro mucho en la moda, innovar.

¿Qué opináis de estas propuestas? ¿Os gustan más o menos que las de ayer?

Semi naked bodies, half patterns, pieces of shirts, measuring tape… that’s the way it started Mirto fashion show with the proposals for the next summer. Gradually gaining strength and designs were perfectly completed, custom shirts and suits, even underwear and pajamas sleeping suits.

I have to admit that in this fashion show there were two things that caught my attention. The first one is to see (and I’m pretty sure that for the first time in my life) “old” men parading. I think that this is a very good idea because these clothes are actually for men of all ages and bodies not only for models that usually come out on the catwalk. I must also recognize that these gentlemen who paraded did it pretty well. Another thing that struck me about this show and I think once again that I haven’t seen it before is that one of the models appeared on a bike, yes yes, a bike on the catwalk! Unbelievable but it was a funny time and he was also a funny model.

Mirto bets for colorful checks and stripes forever following his elegant line and style. Even dared to introduce boys nightshirts, something too strange in clothing for them but a thing that I love in fashion, to innovate.

Una vez más hemos vivido la semana de la moda para ellos con los nuevos diseños para la Primavera/Verano 2015 pero esta vez no ha sido como las anteriores… No se si ha sido porque El Corte Inglés se ha metido de por medio pero desde luego estos modelos tan guapos, altos y sobre todo simpáticos no son a lo que yo por lo menos estaba acostumbrada a ver en anteriores ediciones. Os dejo fotos con algunos de ellos y este fin de semana haremos un repaso de alguno de los desfiles que más me han gustado a mi, ¡así que estad atentos!

En las fotos salgo también con mi compi y amigo Carlos Arnelas que además es blogger oficial de ECI y con mi amigo Luis Yanes que sólo puedo decir que es un crack.

Como venía directa de una grabación para mis joyas favoritas, Ararat by Yanes, no me dio tiempo de cambiarme de ropa. Por lo tanto llevo un vestido color block en blanco y negro donde la falda es lisa y el cuerpo es de tirantes con pequeños volantes. Opté por mis sandalias de cordones en estampado de serpiente y cómo no por un anillo y una combinación de pulseras muy original mezclando brazaletes anchos con pulseras de tornillo. Como siempre un maxi bolso para poder meter todos mis imprescindibles del día a día.

Espero que paséis un buen día y fin de semana y mañana acordaros de revisar la sección de chico para conocer las nuevas propuestas de los diseñadores españoles de cara al verano que viene.

Once again we have attended the men fashion week with the new designs for the Spring/Summer 2015 but this time it has not been like the last year… I don’t know if it was because El Corte Inglés has gotten in between but of course these very handsome, tall and mostly friendly models are not what I was used to see in the last previous editions. I show you some pics with some of them and this weekend we will review some of the shows that I liked most, so stay tuned!

In the pics I’m also with my cool friend Carlos Arnelas who actually is an official blogger of ECI and my super friend Luis Yanes which I only can say that is a top.

As I came directly from a shooting with my favorite jewelry brand, Ararat by Yanes, I didn’t have time to change my clothes. So I was wearing a color block dress in black and white where the skirt is smooth and the body is a top with small wavelets. I chose my sandals with laces in snake print and how not a ring and these very original combination of bracelets in gold, silver, and rose gold. Always a maxi bag to bring with me my essentials for the day a day.

Cool friends lunch

¿Hay algo más divertido para alegrarnos la semana que una comida de mujeres GUAPAS para celebrar el Santo de una de ellas? Personalmente creo que no.

Ayer fue el día de la Virgen del Carmen, desde aquí os felicito a todas las Cármenes, y en especial a mi “madrina” Carmen Lomana que nos invitó a sus amigas más cercanas a una comida muy divertida. Y digo “madrina” porque es una persona que si la veis maravillosa por fuera por dentro lo es aún más. No se ha podido portar mejor conmigo desde que nos conocimos hace ya varios años y para mi aparte de ser un referentes es una confidente en este “mundo de lobos” como yo le llamo. La comida tuvo lugar en un céntrico restaurante de la capital, Bicoca, y entre langostinos, jamón “del bueno” y huevos rotos aparte de unos exquisitos segundos empezamos a repasar el actual panorama social español entre risas y con buen humor.

Yo para una comida de este tipo opté por un total white look: falda blanca de neopreno con lunares grabados (de Topshop de este verano), camisa blanca semitransparente (de Zara de temporada también) y mis tacones de serpiente con cordones (de las rebajas de Zara).

Is there anything more funny that to have lunch with BEAUTIFUL women to celebrate the day one of them? Personally I think that not.

Yesterday was the day of the Virgin Carmen, from here I congratulate all Carmen’s, and especially my “godmother” Carmen Lomana who invited her closest friends to a funny meal. And I say “godmother” because she is a person that if you see wonderful outside inside is even more. Since we met some years ago she’s been always taking care of me and she is my reference apart from being a good confident in this “world of wolves” as I call it. The lunch took place at a downtown restaurant in the capital, Bicoca and between prawns, good ham and broken eggs besides exquisite seconds plates we began to review the current Spanish social news between laughs and good humor.

For this special meal I opted for a total white look: white neoprene skirt with polka dot print (Topshop this summer), semi-transparent white shirt (Zara this season too) and my heels snakeskin with laces (Zara sales).

Floral day

Una de las cosas que más me gusta del verano es poder ponerme a diario mi colección de vestidos que utilizo indistintamente para el día o la noche. Este es uno de mis favoritos porque lleva la mezcla de dos colores muy básicos y elegantes: beige y blanco. Además la parte de arriba lleva unos volantes que son un adorno muy chic. Como también fue un día largo (para variar en mi vida) opté por ponerme zapato plano también en color block con negro y beige. Como accesorios escogí este bonito cinturón dorado con hojas hecho a medida para mi y esta corona de flores. Mis brazaletes dobles en plata y oro son el complemento perfecto para este look sencillo y muy dulce por los detalles tanto del vestido como de las flores en cintura y pelo. Un maxi bolso es imprescindible en mi día a día para poder tener a mano todo lo que necesito en cada momento.

¡Y me voy a seguir con mi súper miércoles! Iréis viendo en mis rrss todas las cositas que tengo hoy pendientes… ¡como me encanta mi trabajo me apetecen todas!

One of the things that I like most about summer time is to wear daily my collection of dresses that I use either for day or night. This is one of my favorites because it mixes two very basic and elegant colors: beige and white. Besides the top has little flyers which are a very chic detail. As it was also a long day (something strange in my life?! hehe) I decided to wear flat shoes also color block with black and beige. As accessories I chose this beautiful gold belt with golden leaves made for me and this floral headband. Double bracelets in silver and gold are the perfect jewelry to combine with the details of the dress and the flowers. A maxi bag is a must in my day to day to carry on everything I need.

And now I’m going to continue with my wednesday which is going to be a looong day as you will see on my social networks… But as I love my work I’m really happy for doing everything!

Colour your life

¡Buenos días amigos!

Si ayer os enseñaba una propuesta para ir a un evento especial como una boda o un cocktail hoy os traigo un look completamente diferente y muy deportivo.

Y he llamado al post “añade color a tu vida” porque cuando vi las fotos es lo primero que se me vino a la cabeza. Me fijé en que en todo el conjunto hay muchos focos de color y rápidamente lo comparé con mis looks de invierno donde me atrevo a añadir color simplemente en calzado o complementos… ¡y esto es lo bueno del verano! Decidí ponerme este chaleco de estampado étnico en tonos azules sin nada debajo para ir más fresquita. Lo combiné con unos jeans ajustados y mis zapatillas Stan Smith que para los días que tengo que ir a mil sitios son siempre una buena opción. El bolso tipo tote en color azul bebé es también un must para mi día a día porque puedo llevar todo lo que necesito. Otro foco de color está en el espejo de las gafas de sol que es en color azul también. Como accesorios un veraniego reloj de tela rayas azules y blancas y una maxi pulsera en verde esmeralda.

Yesterday I showed you a good choice to go to a wedding or a cocktail, to go to a special event. Today it’s a complete different look and very sporty.

And I’ve named the post “colour your life” because when I saw the photos it was the first thing that popped into my head. I noticed that there are many points of color in this look and quickly compared it with my winter outfits where I only add color with the shoes or accessories… but this is the good point of the summer! I decided to wear this ethnic print vest in blue colors with nothing underneath to go more chilly. I combined it with some skinny jeans and my Stan Smith sneakers which are always a good choice for those days that I’ve to go quickly from one place to another. My tote bag style in baby blue is also a must for my day a day because I can bring with me everything I need. Another color focus is on the blue mirror of the sunglasses. As accessories my blue and white striped summer watch and a maxi emerald bracelet.

Cocktail night

¡Hola lunes! Diría que qué pereza que llegue otra vez pero esta semana estoy muy contenta porque ya se van acercando las vacaciones y además el finde me ha cundido bastante…

El sábado por la noche como ya pudisteis ver en mis redes sociales (@itgirlmarta) tuve una fiesta de cocktail. ¡Incluso visteis que acabé metida en un establo así vestida! hahaha. Pues para una ocasión como esta opté por un color que combinase tanto con mi estilo como con mi color de pelo y de piel y que opino que nunca falla: el color nude. Escogí este vestido corto de gasa con pedrería bordada y escote en la espalda y lo combiné con unos zapatos de ante color topo con pedrería bordada de Swarovski. Como complementos escogí un clutch de lentejuelas a juego con los colores de la pedrería del vestido y unas joyas únicas: estos pendientes de diamantes discretos pero muy elegantes y este espectacular maxi anillo.

¿Qué os parece mi elección para una noche de cocktail?

Hello monday! I would say that I’m so sad to start a new week but not this time because my holidays are a little bit closer and I’ve done a lot of things this weekend…

On Saturday night as you could see on my social networks (@ itgirlmarta) I had a cocktail party. Even you saw that I ended up in a stable dressed like this yesss! hahaha. For this kind of event I opted a color that combined both my style and my hair and skin color and I think that never fails: the nude color. I chose this short chiffon jewelered dress with a beautiful backless and combined it with a taupe suede shoes with embroidered Swarovski rhinestones. As complements I chose a sequined clutch to match the colors of the dress and a very unique jewelry: diamond earrings discrete but very stylish and this spectacular maxi ring.

What do you think about my choice for a night cocktail?
