Lunes significa nueva propuesta de look para esas ocasiones más especiales que tenemos estos meses.

Hoy os traigo este mono en azul klein con un hombro descubierto ya que me parece que tanto el color como este tipo de prendas están en plena tendencia. A este tono también se le conoce como ‘azul real’ y pienso que combina perfectamente con mujeres tanto morenas como rubias, es un color neutro en este sentido. El detalle de llevar un hombro descubierto también es algo que me gustó porque queda muy sexy sin llegar a enseñar nada y además nos permite jugar con el pelo haciéndonos un recogido o un peinado hacia el lado contrario como por ejemplo el moño que tanto os gustó que me hice para la boda de mi amiga Blanca y que podéis recordar AQUÍ.

Como ya sabéis que soy muy poco de sobrecargar los estilismos y de llevar muchas joyas escogí un cinturón negro elástico para la cintura, un clutch plateado de pedrería que pienso usar para días más casual con shorts y camisetas, es comodísimo para salir en verano por las noches porque me caben justo el móvil, las llaves y algo de dinero y así no tengo que ir con un maxi bolso. Además al ser plata y con piedras de diferentes tonos es muy fácil de combinar así que pronto me lo veréis con otras opciones… Y por último escogí mis salones de glitter imitando estampado de leopardo. Me gustan porque aunque sea un tacón de 12cm debe ser que ya me he acostumbrado a ellos y no me molestan además de que siempre un zapato sin plataforma estiliza más la figura y queda más elegante.

Una vez más volvimos a escoger el céntrico y moderno Hotel Only You de Madrid que como veis tiene salones como este en los que realizar fotos tan bonitas como las de hoy. Os recomiendo pasar aunque sea a tomar algo a su bar para que lo conozcáis porque estoy segura de que os encantará.

PD: El color de labios burdeos oscuro es el DIVA de MAC, que luego siempre me lo preguntáis hehe.

Monday means new proposal of look to wear to those special occasions/dates that we are having these summer months.

Today I show you this jumpsuit in klein blue one-shoulder off because I think that both the color and the design are very trendy this season. This color is also known as ‘Royal blue’ and I think that it combines perfectly with both brown and blonde women, it is a neutral color to wear. The detail of the one shoulder off is also something that I liked because it is very sexy without actually having to show anything and allows us to play with our hair making an updo or a cool hairstyle to the opposite side such as the bow that I showed you last week that I was wearing for the wedding of my friend Blanca and that you can remember HERE.

As you know I don’t use to wear a lot of jewels when dressing, I prefer to go as simple as posible, so I chose a black elastic belt at the waist, a silver clutch of rhinestones that I’m actually going to use a lot of days with other looks such as with shorts and shirts, skirts, etc. It is extremely comfortable to carry on at these summer nights just because I can take my phone, keys and some pocket money and this way I can avoid going with a maxi bag. In addition to this being silver and with stones of different colors it is very easy to combine with other kind of clothes so soon you will see me wearing it with other options… And finally as shoes I chose my glitter heels making leopard print. I like them because even they are 12cm heel it must be that I’m used to wear them but to me they are comfy and I have always thought that a heel without platform stylized more our body and is more elegant.

Once again we returned to this central and modern hotel in the middle of the city, Only You Hotel of Madrid. As you can see it has many living rooms like this one where you can take such a beautiful pictures like today’s. I recommend you to stop even just to have a drink at their bar for you to know it because I’m sure you will love the place.

PS: The lipstick color in dark burgundy is DIVA from MAC, for those of you who will always ask me about, hehe.

Barcelona wedding

¡Buenos días!

De nuevo Lunes y comenzamos nueva semana yo con las pilas muy cargadas por el fin de semana de relax, diversión y desconexión que he pasado en Barcelona.

Como la mayoría sabréis llegué a Barcelona el viernes por la mañana para asistir a un par de reuniones y luego pasé el día en el lounge del Hotel donde me hospedaba, Hotel Hilton Diagonal Mar en frente del mar. Es uno de los hoteles que más me gustan de Barcelona sobre todo en esta época del año porque ya habéis visto su zona de piscina y al estar frente al mar hace que tenga aún mejores vistas. Esta zona de piscina y chill out pertenece además a Puro Beach por lo que está cuidado hasta el último detalle.

Pero el motivo principal de mi viaje a Barcelona era la boda de una gran amiga mía y mejor aún persona, mi tocaya Marti! (más conocida como romper86 en Youtube o Marta Riumbau en las redes sociales). Nos hicimos muy amigas hace ya varios años al trabajar en el mismo sector y desde entonces no ha habido problemas en que vivamos en distintas ciudades: hablamos todas las semanas y nos vemos siempre que podemos. Por eso estoy muy muy feliz por ella porque no ha podido encontrar a mejor compañero de vida que a Borja, también ya buen amigo mío, que la adora y juntos van a comenzar otra nueva etapa aún más felices si cabe. ¡Mil gracias por todo chicos!

Os cuento algunos detalles de la boda que me habéis preguntando… La ceremonia religiosa se celebró en la Parroquia Santa María Reina y luego nos trasladamos todos a la final Bell Recó. El lugar era de ensueño desde luego. El vestido y complementos de Marta eran de Teresa Helbig, estaba impresionantemente guapa con un diseño muy sencillo de manga larga y escote de espalda y lo más importante: una larga cola y velo. La primera canción que bailaron los novios fue “Thinking out loud” de Edd Sheeran, una de mis canciones favoritas así que yo con los pelos de punta viendo el baile que nos prepararon los novios.

Y para terminar hablemos del look que escogí. Después de todo el revuelo que se ha montando respecto a mi vestido me gustaría decir varias cosas. Lo primero es que Marta es mi amiga y ya sabía cómo era el vestido. Además es rosa, no blanco o beige o blanco roto. Es rosa y el rosa clarito es un color perfectamente aceptable en cualquier boda. Y lo escogí largo aunque ya sabéis que no soy muy de ir de largo a las bodas pero en esta en concreto así se indicaba y así iban todas las invitadas. Es ajustado y lleva un forro de raso con una capa de encaje desde el cuello hasta los pies. Como calzado para las fotos volví a recurrir a mis salones color nude de aguja pero para la boda al ser un terreno más complicado me puse mis sandalias abiertas en el mismo tono pero con tacón más ancho y algo de plataforma para no arrastrar tanto el vestido. Como clutch el mismo que el fin de semana pasado en tonos dorados y ninguna joya, que sabéis que soy muy sencilla.

El peinado por el que también me habéis preguntado bastante me lo hice en el Salón Anna Riu en la calle Valencia 306. Anna tiene la suerte de tener a un equipazo que desde el primer momento me ayudaron y asesoraron para conseguir el resultado final que me visteis en las fotos. Llevo una trenza de raíz en la derecha que termina en la izquierda con el pelo suelto con ligeras ondas al aire. ¡Me encantó!

En estas llevo el pelo mojado porque el shooting lo hicimos en el hotel al no tener más tiempo el día de la boda.

Para terminar quiero darle las gracias a mi querida Mónica, del blog Mes Voyages a Paris que me hizo estas fabulosas fotos y con la que me lo pasé genial en la boda. ¡Besitos a Alberto y a ti mi amor!

Morning guys!

Monday again and we have started a new week full of energy thanks to this weekend of relax, fun and disconnection that we have lived in Barcelona.

As many of you will know we arrived in Barcelona on Friday morning to attend some meetings and then we spent the rest of the day in the lounge of the hotel where we was staying, Hilton Diagonal Mar Hotel just in front of the sea. It is one of the hotels that I like most in Barcelona especially at this time of the year because you have seen their pool area and lounge and being just with the sea in front gives it even better views. The pool area and chill out also belongs to Puro Beach company so they take care of every single detail for you to feel as much comfortable as posible.

But the main reason for my trip to Barcelona was the wedding of a very close friend of mine and even better person, my namesake Marti! (Better known as romper86 on Youtube and Riumbau Marta on the social networks). We became very good friends some years ago as we work in the same fashion industry and since then there have been no problems about living in different cities, we talk almost every week and we see each other whenever we can. So I’m really very happy for her because she couldn’t have found a better life partner than Borja. He is also a good friend of mine, who adores her and together they will begin a new life even happier if possible. Thanks for everything guys, I really had a wonderful day, I love you!

Now I want to tell you some details of the wedding that you have asked me about… The religious ceremony was held in Parroquia Santa María Reina and then we moved for the celebration to Bell Reco place. The place was heavenly indeed, like from a fairy tale. The dress and accessories that Marta were wearing were from Teresa Helbig, she was so so beautiful with a very simple design with long sleeves and neckline back and most importantly, a long train and veil. The first song they danced together was “Thinking Out Loud” of Edd Sheeran, one of my favorite songs too so you can imagine my feelings listening to it and seeing these guys dancing the cool dance they prepared for us…

And finally let’s talk about the look I chose. After all the comments and all kind of reactions about my dress I want to say some things. First of all is that Marta is my friend and she knew how was my dress. Also I’d like to say that it is pink, not white or beige or dark white. It is pink and soft pink is a perfectly acceptable color in any wedding. And I chose long even when you know I’m not use to wear long dresses to any event or to go to the weddings but this specifically said that, so all the women invited to the wedding were wearing long dresses. It’s tight and it wears a satin lining with a layer of lace from neck to toe. As heels for the pics I chose my red soles in nude color but for the wedding as it was a more complicated terrain I got my peep toes sandals in the same tone but with heels wider and some platform not keep off the dress. As clutch I was wearing the same of the last weekend in gold and no jewels, you know that I am very simple and don’t use to wear anything either earrings, bracelets or necklaces.

The hairstyle which also you have asked me about I did it at the Anna Riu Saloon at 306 Valencia Street. I do admit that I had a great team that from the first moment as all the team helped and advised me to get the final result you saw on my pics. I was wearing a braid on the right side that ended on the left side with the hair with light waves in the air. I loved it!

I have these wet hair on these pics because we did the shooting at the hotel the day before as we didn’t have time the wedding day.

Finally I want to thankful my dear Monica, author of the blog Mes Voyages a Paris, that made me these great photos and with which I had a super funny day at the wedding. Many kisses to Alberto and to you my love!

Wedding wishes…

Una boda significa alegría, deseos y promesas para siempre, risas, buenos momentos con las personas más cercanas y por supuesto ¡bailes y copas!

Este sábado se daban el ‘Sí, quiero’ dos de mis mejores amigos. Blanca es amiga mía desde hace más de 15 años y os puedo contar que es una de las mejores personas que conozco. Blanca es una chica muy alegre, divertida y entre otras mil cosas la mejor ortodoncista de Madrid hehe. Álvaro ha sido compañero mío de la Universidad, más tímido que Blanca pero siempre muy cercano, también con un gran corazón, trabajador, y lo más importante: su prioridad en la vida es la felicidad de Blanca. Por eso desde aquí os deseo todo lo mejor porque sois la mejor pareja que he conocido en el sentido del amor que se tienen, de la confianza del uno en el otro, el respeto mutuo y sobre todo porque ¡no han discutido nunca! Increíble pero cierto…

Como os podéis imaginar la boda fue divertidísima porque nos juntamos todos los amigos de ambas partes. Lo celebraron en la Antigua Fábrica de Harina, que es uno de los sitios más espectaculares que conozco para este tipo de celebraciones, ¡tomad nota chicas!

Para una ocasión tan especial me decidí a no llevar el pelo suelto y liso como me lo veis habitualmente. Quería un recogido juvenil y no ‘perfecto’ sino que estuviese como deshecho y desigual. Llevo una trenza lateral de izquierda a derecha por arriba y en el lado izquierdo una mini trenza, las dos recogidas atrás en un moñete deshecho dejando algunos pelos sueltos. Esta magnífica obra de arte fue una vez más gracias a mi amiga Anabel que es la que me maquilla y me peina siempre que tengo algo importante, ¡mil gracias amor!

Terminemos ya con el look que escogí. Llevo un vestido que se ha convertido en mi favorito para este tipo de actos. Lleva un forro de gasa color nude (maquillaje) debajo y por encima una capa de tul por todo el vestido lleno de predrería bordada. Va cerrado al cuello con manga corta y me gusta mucho el corte en la cintura formando luego una falda plisada que da más vuelo y movimiento. Como las temperaturas por las noches sabéis que bajan un poco escogí esta blazer blanca con tela brillante y como accesorios llevo un clutch dorado a juego con los tonos del vestido y un par de anillos. Al principio mi idea era ponerme estos salones también en color nude a juego con el vestido pero luego visteis que escogí mejor unas sandalias con algo de plataforma, tacón ancho y lazo arriba porque pensé que eran más apropiadas para el suelo del escenario en que se celebró la boda.

Espero que os guste mi propuesta y quiero terminar este con la reflexión que os puse anoche: el amor no se demuestra diciendo TE QUIERO, se demuestra en el día a día, en los pequeños detalles, en hacer ver a la otra persona que es importante en tu vida, prácticamente imprescindible para tu felicidad, en el compromiso. Así es como yo lo veo.

A wedding always means joy, desires and promises forever, laughs, good times with the closest friends and family and of course dancing and drinks!

This last Saturday two of my best friends got married. Blanca is a friend of mine since more than 15 years ago and I can tell you that is one of the best persons I’ve ever known. Blanca is a happy girl, funny and apart from thousand of other things she is the best orthodontist in town hehe. Alvaro has been my mate at the University and he is more timid than Blanca but always a very close guy, also with a big heart, hardworking, and the most important of all: his priority in life is Blanca’s happiness. So from here I wish you all the best guys because you are the best couple I have ever met in the sense of loving each other, confidence in each other, mutual respect and above all because they have never discussed! Unbelievable but true story…

As you can imagine the wedding was amazing because we were all the friends together of both parties. The wedding was celebrated at the Antigua Fábrica de Harinas, which is one of the most spectacular places I know for this kind of celebrations, so girls, take note!

For such a special occasion I decided to not wear my straight hair as I usually wear it. I wanted a young and non ‘perfect’ topknot with my hair. I was wearing a side braid from left to right at the top and on the left side a mini braid, the two of them set out on a broken back topknot leaving some loose hairs. This magnificent work of art was once again thanks to my dear friend Anabel which always does what I exactly want with my hair and makeup, so thank you once again my love!

And we finish with the look I chose. I was wearing a short dress that has become my favorite one for this kind of acts. I’m wearing a nude silk nightie below and over a tulle around completely embroidered with little beads. It is closed at the neck with short sleeves and I like the cut at the waist creating then a pleated skirt that gives more flight and movement to my body. As temperatures at night you know that goes down a bit I chose this white blazer with shiny cloth and as accessories I chose a clutch with gold details matching the dress and a pair of rings. At the first my idea was to wear these stilettos also in nude color to match the dress but then I realised that it was a better option to chose sandals with some platform, wide heel and tie on top because I thought it was more appropriate to the floor of the place.

Hope you like my proposal for a special wedding and I want to finish today’s post with my own reflection that I told you last night about what love means to me: love is not about just saying I LOVE YOU, is about show it every day, in small details, show the other person that is important in your life, practically necessary to your happiness, compromise. That’s just my point of view and what I think it should be.

Summer Beauty Day

Me encanta poder terminar la semana con planes divertidos como por ejemplo el que vivimos el viernes pasado gracias a la revista Mujer Hoy. Como cada año esta conocida web a la última en todo lo relacionado con las mujeres celebró su “Día de la Belleza de Verano” por todo lo alto.

Las mejores firmas relacionadas con la belleza se dieron cita para presentar los productos más interesantes y que utilizaremos este verano. Desde colores nuevos de pintauñas hasta cremas para el sol, tratamientos para el cuidado y protección del cabello, alimentación sana e incluso perfumes frescos para esta época del año, por supuesto.

Para un evento matutino como este escogí un look sencillo pero muy lady. Llevo una blazer negra tipo crop con una camiseta rosa palo de manga larga debajo. Lo combiné con mis shorts de cuero negros con lazada en la cintura, mis sandalias con tachuelas a juego y mi bolso bicolor estilo maletín que la verdad es que me encanta desde que me lo compré en mi último viaje a Nueva York.

Al final con la guapa maquilladora y estilista Mónica Roldán que me encantó volver a encontrarme.

I love to finish the week with funny meetings such as the one we lived last Friday morning thanks to the spanish magazine ‘Mujer Hoy’. Like every year this popular website focused in all about women celebrated its Summer Beauty Day with all the top brands.

The best beauty brands where there to present the most interesting products that we all will use for sure this summer. Since new colors of nail polish to sun creams, treatments for the skin care and protection of the hair, healthy eating and even fresh fragrance for this season of the year, of course.

For a morning event like this I chose a simple but very lady look. I was wearing a black blazer crop style with a soft pink shirt long sleeve underneath. I combined it with my black leather shorts with lace at the waist and my studded sandals matching my color blocked shoulder bag that I love since I bought it on my last trip to New York in February.

At the end with the cute hair stylist and make up Mónica Roldá, so nice to see you again.

Arrancamos nueva semana con otro look para ocasiones más especiales tal y como me habéis pedido y además porque creo que Mayo y Junio son los meses donde más tenemos este tipo de actos.

Hoy os quiero dar a conocer una nueva firma que descubrí hace poco y que me encanta por la ropa y complementos que tiene y sobre todo por el precio: Outfit for Desire. La semana pasada os enseñé su clutch dorado de pedrería que ya me habéis escrito muchas para decirme que os había encantado… pues hoy es el turno de un outfit completo. Para una graduación, bautizo, comunión o cena especial de verano yo me pondría algo de este estilo.

Llevo un top negro con detalle de nudo en uno de los lados. Unos pantalones palazzo anchos blancos de seda con cintura de goma dorada. Este detalle en la cintura me encanta porque así se adaptan mejor a cualquier talla. Como ya sabéis que no soy muy de llevar joyas llevo simplemente un clutch negro con detalles dorados que me gusta por su estilo vintage y un maxi brazalete dorado troquelado. Para seguir con la tendencia de blanco y negro con detalles dorados del look escogí estas sandalias negras abiertas con plataforma que me resultan comodísimas para caminar.

Las fotos las hice en una de mis terrazas favoritas de Madrid, en el Hotel Orfila, que como veis es un lugar muy exclusivo y contemporáneo a la vez, ¡me encanta!

We started new week with another look for special occasions as you have asked me and because I think that May and June are the months when most have such special acts or events (including dinners or cocktails).

Today I want to present a new signature that I discovered recently and I love the clothes and accessories that have and especially for the price: Outfit for Desire. Last week I showed you his golden jeweled clutch already have written me to say that many had loved you … because today is the turn of a complete outfit. For graduation, baptism, communion or special summer dinner I would something like this.

I’m wearing a black top with knot detail on one side. Palazzo pants in white silk with gold waist band. This detail at the waist its very comfy because the pants are better suited to any size. As you know I don’t use to wear too much jewelry so I just chose as accessories a black clutch with gold accents that I like for its vintage style and an XL gold bracelet. To follow the trend of black and white with golden details of the look I chose these black platform sandals that I find very comfortable to walk for hours.

As you can see al these pics were taken in one of my fav terraces in Madrid, at Hotel Orfila, where I always find these beautiful places to show you my looks. I like it!

Beauty day by Avène

¡Buenos días desde Barcelona!

Aunque os fui contando y enseñando algunos imágenes y vídeos la semana pasada en mis redes sociales en el divertido evento que vivimos en el Hotel Claris de la ciudad condal gracias a Avène, hoy por fin os traigo más fotos y os cuento todo con más detalle.

Nada más llegar nos recibieron con buen desayuno en el penthouse del Hotel Claris (en el centro de la ciudad) para que todas las bloggers y youtubers tuviésemos un rato para ir conociéndonos. A continuación pasamos a una de las salas que habían habilitado especialmente para esta ocasión y comenzó nuestro “beauty day” con Avène.

Lo primero que tuvimos que hacer es vestirnos acordes para la ocasión: nos ‘enroscamos’ nuestras toallas a la cabeza y nos pusimos nuestros albornoces. Todas muy guapas para posar juntas en la foto de grupo, ¡me encanta! ¿y a vosotros?

Si os soy sincera dos de las cosas que más me sorprendieron del evento fueron el tema de la ‘mágica’ eficacia del agua termal y la clase de spa facial. Son dos cosas que desconocía totalmente y me sorprendieron muy gratamente. ¿Sabéis que muchas personas que tienen problemas en la piel y que visitan la central termal de Avène en Francia en menos de 3 semanas obtienen resultados inigualables en su piel? Esto es un dato muy importante en el cuidado de las pieles sensibles principalmente pero para todos los demás es igual de importante como tratamiento preventivo.

Por otra parte, después de desmaquillarnos con estos fabulosos productos para pieles sensibles (ya sabéis que yo no me pongo nada en la cara que no me inspire una confianza 100%), comenzamos la clase de spa facial. ¿Qué es esto? Pensé yo. Después de 45 minutos con las magníficas profesoras del Studio Australia Barcelona realizando los ejercicios que visteis en algunos de mis vídeos, os puedo asegurar que ¡se nota! Simplemente con una sesión de esta estimulación facial ves como tu piel queda más tersa y luminosa. Y os digo que funciona porque lo hicimos primero en una mitad de la cara para contrastar los resultados.

Por último y antes de terminar con un delicioso y sano brunch, la mejor nutricionista del Instituto de Benito nos habló de cómo comer de una forma más saludable. Este tema me interesa mucho porque sabéis que no tengo tiempo casi nunca para cocinar, pero hay alimentos que son fáciles de encontrar y simplemente tomando pequeñas raciones al día podemos cubrir las necesidades de vitamina C y otros nutrientes que nuestra piel necesita.

Conclusión: que nos tenemos que cuidar más la piel porque es nuestro espejo al exterior y porque cada vez existen más factores externos que nos agreden. Para ello necesitamos tanto buenas cremas y tratamientos como cuidarnos por dentro con una buena alimentación.

Y no me despedir sin dar las gracias a todo el equipo de Pequeñas Grandes Cosas por organizar este evento y al resto de personas que hicieron que fuese un día de diez, como a Francisco el fotógrafo, los chicos de audio y todos los ponentes incluido el presidente de Avène, ¡que no es fácil aguantar a un grupo así de chicas todo el día enganchadas al móvil! hehe.

Morning from Barcelona guys!

Last week I was telling and showing you some pics and funny videos through my social networks in the amazing event that we had at the Claris Hotel in Barcelona thanks to Avène, but now finally I show you more professional photos and I will tell you everything in detail.

Just when we arrived they were waiting for us with a good breakfast in the penthouse of the Claris Hotel (in the center of the city) for all bloggers and you tubers having some time to get to know each other. Just after that we came into one of the living rooms that they had especially prepared for the occasion and it began our “beauty day” with Avène.

The first thing we had to do is to dress up according to the occasion: we wrapped our towels to the head and we put on our bathrobes. All of us so pretty and sexy to pose together in a group photo, I love it! Don’t you?

To be honest two of the things that most surprised me of this event were the truth about the ‘magic’ effectiveness of thermal water and the new concept of facial spa. They are two completely unknown things to me and I was very pleasantly surprised. Do you know that many people who have skin problems and visiting the Avène thermal waters plant in France in less than three weeks obtained outstanding results in their skin? This is a very important step in the care of sensitive skin but also for the rest of us is so important as a preventive treatment.

Moreover, after removing our make up with these great products for sensitive skin (you know that I do not put anything on my face if I don’t trust it 100%), we started the spa facial class. What is this? I thought. After 45 minutes with the wonderful teachers of Studio Australia Barcelona doing the exercises you saw in some of my videos, I can assure you that it really works! With this facial stimulation you can see that your skin becomes smoother and brighter. And I say it works because we did first in half of the face to compare the results.

Finally and before finishing with a delicious and healthy brunch, the best nutritionist from Benito’s Institute told us about how to eat in a healthier way. This class also got my attention because you know that I have no time to cook, but there are foods and some ingredients that are easy to find and just taking small portions a day we can cover the needs of vitamin C and other nutrients that our skin needs.

In conclusion: we have to take care of our skin because it is our mirror outside and the image that see the others of us and it is so important because each day are more and more external factors that attack our skin. For this we need both good and care creams and treatments but also be need to feel good inside with good nutrition.

And I don’t want to finish this post without thanking the whole team of Pequeñas Grandes Cosas for organizing this super event and the other people who made that this day were wonderful.The top photographer Francisco, the audio guys and of course Avène’s president, it is not so easy to keep on talking with a group of ladies always taking pics and videos! hehehe.

First flats designed by me!

¡Ya están aquí! Después de meses y meses de mil bocetos, cambios en el orden de los estampados, de descartar patrones y empezarlos de cero, de seleccionar materiales de calidad… por fin os puedo enseñar el resultado final de mi debut como diseñadora de calzado. La verdad es que para ser la primera vez creo que he dejado el listón bastante alto ¿no? ¿Qué os parece esta bailarina que he diseñado en 3 estampados de animales diferentes?

Desde la primera vez que me senté a valorar esta colaboración con Manoletinos, y más concretamente con Ana y Javi que ya eran amigos míos anteriormente y que son encantadores, sabía que mi ‘primera vez’ iba a ser una bailarina. Por eso no puedo estar más contenta de haberles escogido y de que ellos me hayan escogido a mi como su primera colaboración con una blogger porque creo que ambas partes valoramos y admiramos el trabajo de la otra.

Aunque aquí veáis estas fotos tan espectaculares que nos tomó el súper fotógrafo Carlos Aranguren, no os creáis que fueron tan sencillas… Estuvimos más de 4h de shooting en medio del campo y no era precisamente uno de los días en que más calor hacía en Madrid… Yo con este vestido negro estaba congelada, eso se notaba en mi piel en algunas fotos y había que repetirlas. La postura sujetando al caballo, que por cierto el pobre animal se portó genial (me encantan los caballos de pequeña siempre iba a montar con mi familia), ¡no era nada fácil! Tenía que sujetarle a él por una parte y someter a Álvaro con mi pie por otra. Álvaro es este ‘modelazo’ que se ofreció a hacer el shooting de mi campaña conmigo. Y lo pongo entre comillas porque él no es modelo de profesión pero ¡quién lo diría porque lo hizo mejor que yo! hahaha. Le escogimos por el tema del vitíligo (que por cierto a mi me encanta tener algo que nos diferencie de los demás y que lo ensalcemos en vez de convertirlo en un complejo) para jugar con la idea que ha revolucionado medio mundo con la modelo negra que también tiene esta enfermedad de la piel: Winnie Harlow. Me encantó la idea de mezclar el vitíligo y las manchas de mi bailarina en un mismo marco para esta campaña.

¡Y no me enrollo más! Sólo deciros que ya tenéis las bailarinas disponibles en la página web de Manoletinos y que espero que os haya gustado mi primer diseño de calzado.

Woohooo! They are already here! After months and months of thousand sketches, changes in the order of the prints, distracting patterns and creating new ones, selecting high quality materials… finally I can show you the final result of my debut as shoe designer. To be honest I think that being the first time in my life I haven’t done it so badly, don’t you think so? What do you think about my new animal prints flats?

From the first time we sat down to value this collaboration with Manoletinos, specifically with Ana and Javi who were already my friends and they are so lovely, I knew my ‘first time’ needed to be a flat shoe. So I can not be happier for having make it with them and I’m so proud that they have chosen me as their first collaboration with a blogger because I think that both sides value and admire the work of the other.

Here you have all these pictures so spectacular that were taken by the super photographer Carlos Aranguren, but they weren’t as simple as they seem… We spent more than 4 hours shooting in the countryside and it was not one of the days with high temperatures in Madrid… I was wearing this black dress and I was really frozen, it showed on my skin in some photos and we had to repeat them again and again. The position holding the horse, which by the way the poor animal make a great performance hehe (I do love horses, I always used to go to ride with my family when I was young), it was not as easy as it seems! I had to hold the horse with one hand and like ‘submit’ Alvaro with my foot on his chest. Talking about Alvaro, he is this ‘super model’ who offered to make this shooting for my shoe campaign. And I write it between quotes because it is not a model by profession but he actually did it better than me! hahaha. Thank you Álvaro. We chose the topic of vitiligo (by the way I want to say that I like having ‘something’ different from others and exalts it instead of turning it into a complex) to play with the idea that has revolutionized the fashion world with the black model that also has this skin disease: Winnie Harlow. I loved the idea of mixing the vitiligo spots with the spotted animal print of my flat in the same picture for this amazing campaign.

Dubai Desert

¡Buenos días, hoy ya desde Madrid!

Y es que llevo desde las 7 de la mañana trabajando porque el jet lag quiere hacer de las suyas hoy…

Pensaba que después de la experiencia que os conté el otro día desde el edificio más alto del mundo, el Burj Khalifa, poco más había en Dubai que me pudiese sorprender tanto… bueno, pues estaba equivocada (así somos los humanos). Gracias a la agencia de mi querido amigo Jacobo, Middle East Experience, que se dedica a organizar todo tipo de excursiones y visitas en Middle East, he podido disfrutar y tachar de mi lista de “Cosas que hacer a lo largo de mi vida” el pasar un día en el desierto.

Apenas a 45 minutos de la ciudad de Dubai se encuentra este inmenso desierto con las segundas dunas más altas de todo Emiratos Árabes. Gracias a nuestro súper guía Mohamed al que mando un saludo desde aquí, nos metimos de lleno en la historia de los nómadas que han vivido años y años viajando por el desierto aprendiendo de dónde sacar agua, en qué lado de las dunas asentarse, qué plantas eran venenosas y cuáles sanas para comer, etc. Os he colgado bastantes fotos y de verdad, ¡me ha costado mucho seleccionarlas! Quería poneros todas de cada momento pero bueno creo con estas y el vídeo es suficiente, ¿no? hehehe.

Subimos y bajamos las dunas en jeeps que son los coches más apropiados para este terreno. Luego montamos en quads bajo el calorazo de unos 30 grados al sol. Si si, por eso escogí llevar tirantes y shorts como buena turista que era. A continuación fuimos a ver la puesta de sol y al campamento base donde disfrutamos de un espectáculo divertidísimo como veis en el vídeo, cena exquisita y además montamos a camello bajo la luz de la luna. Esta sí que ha sido la experiencia más bonita que he vivido. Además me sirvió para desconectar por completo, cosa que rara vez consigo, al no haber wifi ni 3G ni nada por estar en medio del desierto, en medio de la nada. También os he dejado algunas de mis fotos favoritas del paisaje que tomé yo misma con algunos de los animales que nos encontramos y la puesta de sol. Realmente os recomiendo esta excursión si vivís allí o si tenéis la oportunidad de ir a esa zona dentro de poco.

Me voy a comenzar la semana de trabajo que tengo mil reuniones y trabajo pendiente.

Morning morning, today already from Madrid!

And because of the jet lag, that is really killing me today, I’m awake since 7a.m…

I thought that after the experience that I told you last week from the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, Dubai hasn’t so much pretty things to show me that really could impress me like that… well, I was wrong another time (humans are like this). Through the agency of my dear friend Jacob, Middle East Experience, which is dedicated to organize all kinds of excursions and visits in Middle East, I could enjoy and cross off to my “Bucket List” (or “Things to do before dye”) to spend a day in the desert.

Just 45 minutes away from the city of Dubai is located this impressive desert with the second highest dunes of all Arab Emirates. Thanks to our super guide Mohamed who I want to thank once again for everything, we immersed ourselves in the history of nomads who have lived there years and years traveling through the desert learning where to get water, which side of the dunes is better to settle the camp, which plants were poisonous and which healthy for eating, etc. I know I’ve posted enough photos but the truth is that it took me so many time to select them! I wanted to show you all that we did but I think that with these ones and the video is enough, right? hehehe.

We went up and down the dunes in jeeps that are most appropriate car for this area. Then rode quads under a sunny day with about 30 degrees at the sun. Yeah, why I chose to wear a top and shorts as a good tourist I was. Then we went to see the sunset and the base camp where we also enjoyed a hilarious show as you can see on the video, an exquisite dinner at the camp and also we rode a camel under the moonlight. This really was the most beautiful experience I have lived until today. It also helped me to completely disconnect, which is rarely to me, because there were no wifi or 3G or anything as we were in the middle of the desert, in the middle of nowhere. I’ve also left some of my favorite landscape photos that I took myself with some of the animals we encountered and the amazing sunset. I really recommend you to do this tour if you live there or have the opportunity to go to that area one day.

Now I’m going to start this working week full of meetings and collaborations that I have pending.

My 29th bday!

23 de Marzo… por fin llegó el día de ¡¡MI CUMPLEEEE!!

No se para vosotros pero para mi es un día muy muy especial. Es el día en que vine a este mundo ‘loco’ para de una forma u otra intentar dejar algo de mi en él.

Gracias a mis padres que les adoro y a mi hermana creo que he sido una persona que ha crecido e un ambiente feliz y también gracias a ellos me considero una persona sociable y muy trabajadora. Por eso quiero empezar el post dándoos las gracias a todos los que me seguís a diario, los que me apoyáis y por supuesto también a los que me hacéis críticas constructivas que muchas veces he cogido. Muchas gracias por tantas palabras bonitas de especialmente estas horas desde que empezó anoche mi cumpleaños… De verdad quiero que sepáis (aunque intento decíroslo muy a menudo) que sois una parte muy MUY importante de mi felicidad, sin vosotros claramente no estaría donde estoy, ¡os quiero!

Para celebrar este día tan especial he querido preparar este post en uno de los hoteles más bonitos de Madrid: el Hotel Only You de Madrid que se encuentra en la calle Barquillo 21. Es un pequeño y céntrico hotel donde cada rincón es mágico como podéis ver en las fotos.

Para una noche como la de ayer que además era mi última gala de GHVIP (no puedo estar en la del próximo domingo porque tengo un viaje fuera de España) escogí este vestido de mi tienda favorita de vestidos de fiesta y para ocasiones especiales: BDBA. Es de tirantes cruzados en color gris plomo con lentejuelas y abalorios y con pequeña cola por delante y por detrás. Encima llevo una chaqueta estilo chanel en azul grisáceo para los momentos de más frío de la noche. Una vez más volví a escoger mis salones de glitter con estampado de leopardo y tacón dorado que como habréis podido ver no me quito.

Y como veis aunque sea mi cumple hoy es lunes… ¡así que a trabajar! Me voy a seguir con mi día que tengo una semana muy completita antes de irme el viernes por la mañana.

Os deseo un feliz día y semana y una vez más ¡GRACIAS A TODOS POR TODO VUESTRO APOYO, ¡OS ADORO!

March 23rd… finally the day came, today is MY BIRTHDAY!!

I don’t know if you think the same way as me but to me it is a very special day. It is the day I came into this crazy world to try to make something really good and to leave a part of me on it.

Thanks to my parents that I love them and my sister of course because I’ve been a person who has grown in a happy environment and family and as a result of that I consider myself a very friendly and hardworking woman. So I want to start the post thanking you all who follow me every day, those who support me and of course those of you who give me your constructive criticism that I have often caught. Thank you very much for all the nice words especially today since it started last night my birthday on the TV show… I really want you to know (though I try to tell you very often) that you are a very VERY important part of my happiness, without you clearly I would not be where I am right now, I REALLY LOVE YOU ALL!

To celebrate this special day I wanted to prepare this post in one of the nicest hotels in Madrid: Only You Hotel located on 21st Barquillo Street. It’s a small downtown hotel where every corner is magical as you can see on the pics, I have a special time every time I go.

For a night like yesterday that it was also my last GHVIP Show (I won’t be live next Sunday because I have a trip out of Spain) I chose this dress from my favorite store of dresses for special occasions: BDBA. It is crossed with straps and sequins in dark gray. I’m also wear a jacket chanel style in soft gray-blue (like pearl gray) for the low temperatures at night. Once again I chose my glitter pumps with leopard print and gold heels that you have already seen me all these last weeks.

And as you can see even being my birthday today is Monday… so get let’s go to work! I will continue with my complete day. I have a full agenda this week before I left on Friday morning for my next trip…

¡Buenos días!

Por fin puedo contaros la divertida tarde que pasamos en el Hotel Westin Palace de Madrid el martes pasado.

Gracias a la firma SkinCeuticals de la que tengo el gran placer de ser embajadora pudimos presentar una nueva crema revolucionaria en el mercado: la primera crema que corrige los primeros síntomas del fotoenvejecimiento pero de verdad. Muchas veces nos lo venden en la tele con imágenes y modelos que claramente llevan photoshop y maquillaje pero SkinCeuticals se basa siempre en estudios y casos concretos que avalan y demuestran que sus productos realmente son los mejores del mercado.

Todo sucedió en una suite de lo más lujosa del que es para mi el Hotel más bonito de Madrid, Westin Palace.

A continuación la experta Graciela después de haber analizado nuestra piel en la cabina de luz (mirad en las fotos cómo se ven las manchas con la luz morada) nos dio un tutorial para enseñarnos todos los pasos que debemos seguir tanto por las mañanas como por las noches para el cuidado y limpieza de nuestra piel. Por supuesto cada uno con los productos acordes a nuestro tipo de piel que es lo que más me gusta de SkinCeuticals, que tiene productos absolutamente para todas nosotras sea cual sea nuestro problema o necesidad.

En concreto la crema que presentamos, Metacell, está indicada para todo tipo de pieles. Yo la uso a diario mañana y noches desde hace apenas un mes y ya he notado los resultados. La gente que me ve a diario sin ir maquillada lo pueden corroborar porque me lo han comentado. Aparte de prevenir la aparición de las primeras arrugas, hidrata y renueva nuestra piel pero ¡sin dar grasa! Si si, su textura de gel hace que no nos salgan granitos. Morning my friends!

Finally I can tell you the funny afternoon we spent at the Westin Palace Hotel in Madrid last Tuesday.

SkinCeuticals, the brand of which I have the great pleasure of being an ambassador, and I could present last Tuesday a revolutionary new cream on the skincare market: the first cream that corrects the first signs of photoaging but ‘really does it’. Then, the expert Graciela after analyzing our skin into the light cabin (look in the photos at my face with purple light hehe) gave us a tutorial to teach us all the steps that must be followed in the mornings and at night for our skincare and cleaning of our skin. Of course she gave us the advice with the specific products according to our skin type that’s what I like about SkinCeuticals, which are definitely products for all of us whatever our problem or need is.

Specifically we presented the new Metacell cream, that is perfect for all skin types. I use it daily in the morning and at night from just a month ago and I have already noticed the results. People who see me every day without makeup can corroborate it because they have asked me about.
